being honest here....charmaine and gigi....they both do adequate job for their character....but...90% of all of their character have the same personality....so in the beginning it was ok, then start to seem repetitive, then annoying...and finally seem fake.

Both have wooden faces but Alex is the worst cos when he talks, I'm like can you speak up, stop mumbling and talk faster, seriously listening to him can really put you to sleep!

haha if we mean boring as in their roles, i doubt we can blame them for the roles that they get. but if we mean the WAY they act...here's my list...
1. joe ma - his expressions are often the same...when he is angry, sad, distressed or whatever, they all look the same.
2. linda chung - her sadness has no depth. it's always just crying. so maybe she's really good at weeping, but that's about it...?
3. kate tsui - can't act too well...seems a little overrated.

i think there's still a lot more but i can't recall who. some of the older actors are like that too!
in fact if you keep watching a few shows with the same actor/actress, and if you start noticing a "pattern" in the way they react, you really know they can't act.

Frankie Lam, Alex Fong Chung Sun & Gigi Lai. I'm sorry but I found Gigi's character in Gem Of Life really boring. =x Alex looked quite stoney in Building Blocks Of Life and Frankie, much as I think he's handsome, his characters are boring and his acting seems abit stiff? :|

I really agree with you tvbobsessions All the actors you mentioned are boring actors in TVB! Alex Fong's acting skill almost the same for evry series (except in the movies with Miriam and Daniel ... I've forgot the title ) Gigi Lai, I don't understand why she can won the favourite actress for the character in War and Beauty! Her acting in the series like a people who has Asthma especially when crying!

linda chung and charmaine sheh. linda always plays the same roles over and over again. and all she does is cry, cry and cry. charmaine's acting is so fake. she tries to be cute all the time

Michelle Ye doesn't have facial expressions.
And Joe Ma is annoying. He seems like he has a pretty bad temper.
Stephy Tang is so annoying. She's always in movies with Alex Fong
and she always acts all flirty and all. Kate Tsui seems to have an
attitude of her own and she can't really act. Charmaine Sheh has the fakest
laugh and smile.

it depends what you really mean with the boring. if a role is boring then you can't blame it on any actors or actress but if you question is which actress actor is not good in acting then I will have a long list.

I find Joe Ma, Jessica Hsuan and Gigi Lai very boring!!
I don't know why but some of their roles are the same and the same..especially Jessica.
The way she acts out her roles are all the same.

like others, i also have to agree that linda chung is a boring actress! most of her roles are the same, innocent and vulnerable. she needs to be more real and stop talking like a little girl, it's so painful hearing her speak, sounds like she's always dying. good example? listen to her songs.

Michael MiuHe can't act, even if he is a veteran. Can't think of him as the only male lead in a drama that would be fun to watch.

Kenneth Ma Acts bad have never been found to him either.

Ron Ng See some improvmenst from him but still it's not enought for entering the business for so long so think he is one of the boring actors

Joe Ma He do take different roles but the only thing I think he is good of is acting out the bad guys so that make him boring

Steven Ma He can be good but that really depends on what character he takes. For the couple of dramas that he have been in this resent years have been really bad.

Kate Tsui Bad at acting, acting so unneutral. You can see that she is actually acting and not putting the character as herself.

Sonija Kwok She have improve, at least I don't feel she is forcing herself to act but her acting skills still are really bad

Sherily Yeung Don't get why she can get award, her acting is always over doing and not neutral at all

Linda Chung Even if she have filmed tons of dramas her acting seems to improve so slow. Worst is her crying if she just stuck to those characters that doesn't need to cry then she maybe can be good

Toby Leung not neutral with her acting, doesn't have any face expression which makes the audience hard to understand what kind of feelings she want to express.

Mandy Cho Even if she was kind of ok in You're Hired she isn't good for other roles, she can pick up easy roles when she doesn't need to have much face expression or complicate feelings.

Yoyo Mung Face expression isn't too good.

Rain Lee My got I think every producer should stop using her, she can't act

Fala Chan See improvment in her but I think she need to practise her pronunciation for cantonese. Also practise her crying skills

Anne Heung It's good that she have leaves the business because she really can't act.

Aimee Chan She haven't acted so long yet, but I think she have potentail to improve but still doesn't enjoy her performance yet

Myolie Wu She can act out some characters but when she try hard she always over done it. which I just can't stand.

Bernice Lui I don't know what to say about her, she was good in the first but have just going on the opposite way. she is soo dam bad in acting this days don't know why. I think it's right that she doesn't get the improvments award yet.

Gigi Lai Don't get why she could have grabed the best actress award
