Audrey TATOU! I'm so glad she has been posted. She's a wonderful actress. I adored her in Amelie. Her innocence and angelic appearance totally made that film. I haven't seen any of her other films, but I believe I'd still enjoy them.

Mini Biography

Born on August 9, 1976 in Beaumont, France, Audrey showed an interest for comedy at an early age and started her acting lessons at `Cours Florent'. In 1998 she won the best young actress award in the ninth `Jeune Comedien de Cinema Festival' in Bezier. Then, she came to the attention of Tonie Marshall who gave her a role in her film Vénus beauté (institut) (1999) for which she won a Best New Actress Cesar. It came as a surprise to even Audrey: "I was so certain I could not be chosen that I told her that she probably dialled a wrong number." The director chose her for her natural nature: "She came, she gaffed, she turned reddish, her ears were in a funny position and her hair was relaxed. In five minutes, she gave me the heart of the character, a petite young girl who would like to be a lady and will become a woman." In 2000, Audrey was again nominated for a Cesar and her movie Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain, Le (2001) has been a phenomenal success worldwide.

I have seen many of her movies, and she looks pretty cute and innocent... but I dun really think she is a really good actress...
In fact I have the feeling she always play the same role !
Anyway, in my opinion, she is a quite good actress, but no more...

Her beauty is timeless, I saw some of her movies and I admire her beauty so much.

Tatou's beauty seems so special to me, gorgeous opulent like a noble lady in the 17th century.
Besides, her performance is increditably emotional and persuasive to viewers very much. I most like her way of acting in the Da Vinci Code till now.
