They're both adorable leaders of 2 adorkable boybands. They handle their group really well and I have to say that they're both good. Between DBSK Yunho and Suju Eeteuk, who do you think is better in his leadership job?
Both groups are good friends so let's make this a very friendly, enjoyable, and open-minded thread, okay?

Yunho.it really does show that he puts the group members before him. he seems very composed when the group isn't. I don't know about eeteuk cuz i haven't seen him really taken the leader roll most of the time.

I'm pretty much okay with both actually. I see Eeteuk tucking the members into bed and giving them a goodnight kiss (lol). But I think Yunho's maturity and leadership skills beats Eeteuk's.

I've seen how both leaders wake their members.
Eeteuk's way is rather extreme with the Water Screen and Duct tape. I still find it funny though. I also find it funny how he's afraid to wake Kangin up.
Yunho's way is so gentle and so caring It made me feel giddy inside. It's so touching the way he woke Junsu up. He's like a father waking his son. (Hugs Yunho).
In a way, I can picture that Yunho can handle a boar like Kangin. He has that intimidating air around him.

Haha yeah. Water screen! Group water screen for the barbaric Kangin.
And I agree, KangIn wouldn't dare to treat Yunho the way he treats Eeteuk. Tsk tsk, respect your leader, KangIn.

Don't forget, Super Junior has THIRTEEN MEMBERS. DBSK only has five.
I'm not doubting neither Yunho or Eeteuk's leadership skills, but -- handling a boy band with 13 people is a lot harder than just 5. I love both Yunho and Eeteuk (I'm actually a HUGE Yunho fan) but if you are not a fan of both Yunho and Eeteuk you will never know who is "better". As a fan of both, I'd obviously say both of them.
But to honestly say, when it comes to leading the members, I will say Yunho. When it comes to just actually taking care of the members, I'll say Eeteuk. If you are close with Super Junior, you will know that Eeteuk really cares for their members. I'm not saying that Yunho doesn't, but because Eeteuk is about a 1-5 years older than the rest of the members, he will automatically become a "mother" figure. Yunho is not the oldest of DBSK. Jaejoong is, but only a few weeks older. However, Yunho's not much older than the other three - just a couple of months. Yunho is, in comparison, more mature than the others... but all in al, they are still the same age, had the same amount of years of life experience; so it really is hard to become a mother figure like Eeteuk. However, Yunho has the skills of a "leader" that Eeteuk lacks. The members of DBSK actually really respects Yunho and the way how he handles things.
I'm quite proud of both of them because both are great leaders. I still think handling 13 people is a hard thing to do, LOL.

I must say that they're both great leaders, and it is different, as the ratio of the members are quite different, and although I may be a little bias by saying Yunho, because I love him lol. But I really do think that his leadership is outstanding, even from the earlier days, he's always has things to say, and whenever he is asked questions, he'll response as a group he also takes consideration of the rest of the members, not saying that eeteuk doesn't But seeing them on shows and other things, eetuek has a tendency of join the group and doesn't showcase much of his leadership, hmm... i don't think i expressed it right, I just think that he blends in with the group more, rather than stand out as a leader, not saying that's a bad thing because that can also be considered as him trying to have a stronger bond with the members, so all in all, i think that although both have outstanding leadership, I still vote Yunho

Hmm, I don't know what about the leadership of Yunho. Cause i'm not quite a DBSK Fan. One time i payed a lot attention to the reactions of Eeteuk as a leader. I must say that he did a great job. As you may notice, the members have a 'best' buddy in the group, not everyone can get along with all the members. Only Eeteuk can, all members have respect for him. "Teukie Hyung!!!" sooo cute! I think choosing Eeteuk as leader of Super Junior is a wonderful choice. Imagine Kangin as leader of Super Junior ...

I think Leeteuk is a better leader, because it is not easy to handle 13 members. he really care about the other members. on the other hand i haven`t seen yunho been like leeteuk. Leeteuk`s is the best leader. I LOVE HIM. LEETEUK FIGHTING!!!

Hmm... hard choice. Some leaders have different ways to handle their groups and members. YunHo's style is more to speaking for the group, telling the members their mistakes made during performances, pulling the topic back when the members stray too far away...
I'm not really familiar with EeTeuk, though I've seen him waking his members, so he gives me the feeling that he is more of a motherly leader, caring for the members' health, daily needs etc (is that right? ). YunHo is more about working business, so he is more fatherly.

Again.Yunho. My fav leader shii Just love the way he takes care of his members,he's like DongBang father... I've read so many UFO replies from fans wanted him to be their father...
But Eeteuk shii is so cute,it's really hard to handle the 12 stuborn members...maybe except Kibum,Donghae..Just see how much energy he took to make the members to bed and wake up.. I see Kangin loves to bully him too...haha!

Depends on what you judge as good leadership skills. Yunho has somewhat an air of intimidation around him (I think it's his dark looks), Eeteuk is more wacky and kinda one of the boys; I think they're both decent leaders, they're both good in interviews and in representing their groups, I'll agree with a lot of what people said though; Yunho is noticeably more of a Leader type but Eeteuk has more on his hands so it's hard to judge (it's like judging whose the better mother between a mom with four kids, and one with twelve, etc).
Traditionally I'll say Yunho makes a better leader, but Eeteuk isn't too far behind him in the stakes.

to be honest, i dont know suju membs. n who their leader is. i would say yunho coz i have seen his way of handling his group w/ care, his authority, how he speaks for the group. he never fails to include all his membs eg his no. 5 in his costume to symbolize DongBang members as awhole i had seen how he scolded jae after their recent debut for his mistake but i've also seen how Yun took care of Jae when he had his leg operated. he may not've been that good in leadin in da beginnin but he surely has very well-progressed n been more better leader now. Of'cos he doesnt do dat :glare: we see him being childish as well as serious in place needed. So, our dear leadershii-Yunho is da best for me but its known that Jae takes his task of scoldin the members when he's tired of repremandin the members as we all know Jae is older than him by few days n yes, its true.

Even though I'm a huge fan of both groups, I'd have to say I prefer Yunho's leadership of DBSK to Eeteuk's leadership of SuJu. Yunho just seems really mature for his age to me, and I think he commands alot of respect from the other members.

I think that Yunho is a better leader than Eeteuk. I'm not saying that he's a bad leader, just Yunho is better. Yunho takes care of the members, just like Jae said, "Yunho is like the father of the group" and he should know best, because when he got his leg injured Yunho took care of him, AND the rest of the group.

Firstly, I must say that I'm a big fan of Yunho. But I'll try to be as objective as I can.
When I first knew DBSK through interviews, I didn't know that Yunho is the leader; I just thought that he was very well-spoken and seemed to speak for the group a lot. I had thought that he was the oldest among them as he seemed to be the most mature and he was the one who kept the members on track. Of course, it wasn't long before I found out that he was the leader, but by that time, I had acknowledged him as a suitable representative for the group. As I got to know more about DBSK, there's really no doubt that Yunho really takes care of the members and the members all respect him. He can be very serious when it comes to work but he's also the one who pull the members together when they're down. I can go on and on, but I still won't be able to say how much I admire Yunho as a leader. That was what made me a fan of his, by the way. =P
I admit that I've known Super Junior for a much shorter time than DBSK, but for me I didn't get the feeling that Eeteuk is the leader at all. It was probably because they have so many members that I failed to observe every single one, but I know that most of the time Eeteuk acts as a leader by taking care of the members. He's a good leader in that respect, but other than that I don't really see his leadership skill. I know it must be really hard to lead a group consisting of 12 other.. hmm.. very active guys. (lol)
So, yeah, my choice is Yunho. =)

i say both are good leaders...though it is quite obvious that Yunho is more to the type of leader that is more...how to put it...dominant... he makes sure that the rest of the members are in good care..taking care of them and making sure that they do things correctly..
Eeteuk is the same but his ways are different..he's more to the funnier, wackier, crazier leader..one that..i think will have lotsa fun under him...Yunho is more serious... it's also hard to control 12 really stubborn and naughty dongsaengs!! hahah...
but, we have to give credits to both leader, coz without them, the rest of the members are nothing..as in , nothing will be flowing smoothly

Hmm... this is a tough call. Mostly because Suju and DBSK give off such different vibes and have such different feels that it is really difficult to pick a better leader, especially since personal biases come into play as well.
I think they're both great leaders of their respective groups. DBSK is a smaller group, and they feel more mature to me. They don't have Heechul's wildly moody moments or Kangin's boarish and stubborn behavior. The majority of Suju are actually really good and cooperative, but DBSK has travelled overseas and I feel that that matured them a great deal.
I have actively seen Yunho being a great leader to DBSK. He's the one that will request new shoes for Junsu because he complains about his shoes being too big and how he can't dance in them; he feels personal responsibility and guilt when his members act up and/or misbehave. He has a very dominating aura and people innately gravitate towards him. He also seems like he is friendly and cares about the members, but is also extremely professional which is very good for reigning the group in when they begin to get sneaky (Yoosu...). Yunho has sacrficed a great deal being DBSK's leader and will put the other group's welfare before his own, including in terms of singing and dancing, performing and appearances. There has been a lot of pressure on Yunho from the start of DBSK and you can see that in how he deals with the members. He isn't harsh, per se, but he has a certain degree of authoritative demeanor to him. It often clashes with Jaejoong because Jaejoong is quite demanding in his own way too (and Jaejoong can be pretty moody as well. not as moody as Heechul, but he can be pretty moody too). A fan account of a staff member at the TVXQ concert in Thailand said that Yunho didn't seem to interact with the members very much while they were rehearsing. He seemed to be talking to the staff and the dancers a lot; the responsibility for DBSK's failures and successes lie (practically) solely on Yunho's shoulders... he's the one that has the majority of the responsibilties when they're up on stage. I heard once that in one of the first interviews that DBSK held in Taiwan (or was it China?) one of the interviewers asked Jaejoong something, and Jaejoong responded very very carefully and kept on looking at Yunho down the table to make sure that he was proper and "in line" (cause we know how Jaejoong can get when he starts talking). For being one of the most "loved" couples in DBSK, JaeHo is actually also one of the most hotheaded couples that are most prone to arguments (like REAL ones... not whiny ones).
Eeteuk seems to be more complacent and "one of the boys." Despite his age gap, he's never very extroverted or seems to be demanding or commanding. He's very gentle in his approach to Suju, but at the same time, he also seems to be very concerned for Suju's welfare. In an interview in China, where they MC was primarily talking to Hangeng, the rest of the Suju boys that were present were looking really bored and dazed as they talked in Chinese. Only Eeteuk seemed to be concentrating very very hard on what the MC was saying and trying to understand as best he could. Honestly, that speaks leadership to me right there. His responsibility as leader is to help the entire group overcome all obstacles, not just be bossy and demanding... Personally, Super Junior has not been together as long as DBSK has, and all of the members are very much independent assets. You hardly see DBSK do things without one another, but SuJu is usually scattered separately all over the place. That doesn't allow room for much "unity" as a whole. I can't help but feel that Eeteuk is a lot more playful and doesn't demand as much as Yunho does. I'm not saying Yunho demands a lot, but I just think a lot of pressure is exerted on him (or maybe he puts it upon himself?) to be the macho tough leader.
Hidden Text:
DBSK has "images" to uphold; Super Junior doesn't... Super Junior is purely an idol group and each of their members seems perfectly willing to take responsibility for his own actions because they don't interact together too often (not the way DBSK does) and therefore, Eeteuk can't control all their actions and he isn't really expected to. Super Junior is so scattered that there is no possible way he COULD. Not really.
DBSK has had these images carved out for them since their debut (they've all talked about their images countless of times, but usually only referring to Junsu and Changmin's "reversal" in images). But from time eternal (it seems), DBSK has been structured to be: Yunho - the macho, strong, and tough leader. The glue that holds the group together and directs them, no questions asked. He might not be their best singer, but it's his direction that keeps them going. Jaejoong - the cool, mysterious, and aloof character with devastatingly bishounen looks and a mystical "badboy" aura to him. He !FAILS! miserably at this now... but that's how they started. Yoochun - the cool, suave, and pretty-boy one from America who has that "cool foreigner" quality to him along with his husky voice and smooth English to soften out the raps that they're given. Junsu - the charismatic Korean "boy next door" type. With a cool and calm demeanor that is just bubbling with his inner charisma and charm and an angelic voice to match. Changmin - the cute youngest member with the most "ageyo" personality and a gentle touch and adorable smile to match. (( notice how Junsu and Changmin's images have TOTALLY reversed? Jaejoong and Micky's have just... failed on them... but Yunho is still quite the macho leader ))
In a way, it's almost like DBSK is a real family. Not to say Super Junior isn't like FAMILY, but just hear my analogy out.
DBSK is REAL cohesive family who has been thrown out into the entertainment world with basically only each other to help the other members out. They do EVERYTHING together, and even when they are not ALL there, they return to the same dorms and the same bedroom at the end of the day and spend the night under the same room. They were thrown into Japan just a year after their initial debut with no one else but a handful of managers and some stylists. They had no one to depend on at that time but themselves and as their leader (which Yunho really grew into), Yunho took up the responsibility and you could clearly see his leadership.
Super Junior is more like a school sports team. During the day, the teammates have things to do. They're going to different classes, doing different clubs, different interests... etc. Some might be on the drama team; others might be in the choir; still others might be tutoring or working part-time jobs. But for practices and events, they still get together, work their butts off and show off great unity and strength. But for all intents and purposes, they are going their separate ways until those practices and events. That's the impression SuJu gives me: a lot of the members all do separate activities. Eeteuk and Kangin and Heechul are MCs; Eunyuk, Kangin, Eeteuk, and Sungmin are radio DJs; Kibum and Shiwon act; Hangeng is the liasion between Korea and China so he's just flitting back and forth between the two; KRY do their singing "things;" etc... But they STILL get together at the end of the day, but see how SEPARATE they are during the day? I feel that SuJu doesn't really need a leader, but they have and tolerate one because "everyone needs a team captain."
Not the way DBSK needs a leader because they are seriously so busy and so overworked and overcrazed that someone needs to keep track of the members and the logistics. I mean, even all of SJ own cars (I don't think anyone in DBSK has time to buy a car, let alone own one and drive around) and the ones that don't (Wookie!), take public transportation and not all of them even live in the same hostel (if I'm not mistaken, Shiwon and Kibum both live with relatives nearby in Seoul).
But I think they're all great and brilliant, but Yunho and Eeteuk just have different leadership styles for their very different groups =D

Yeah he is AMAZING handling 12 members, but does it really matter with how much people there are.? YunHo, all his members respects him and listens to him. And Eeteuk, all of his doesn't. It can be harder with so much people, but as a leader, you're suppose to gain the respect of all your members. He doesn't have that. So I say YunHo. He knows how to control the group. I don't know about LeeTeuk coz I haven't seen his leader-ish self yet. He's like one-of-the-gang most of the time. I think the fact that SuJu members treat him as friends will probably make LeeTeuk's job easier as they already know what is he like.
Yunho's leadership quality is very obvious most of the time. Though he's not the eldest, he acts like one. He even drinks everyone else's drinks before they drink it. It's very leader-ish act.
At the end of the day, both of them are good leaders with different ways of handling the members...

SuJu DOES respect their leader, but you have to admit: they don't really act like it most of the time. I don't doubt that they are very respectful and treat him very well backstage, but you have to admit, when they're on camera, Leeteuk just seems like "one of the boys" with the rest of Suju. =D

I think he is a better letter because he's got 12 other members to lead. that's a huge responsibility. considering that he has other things like MC-ing, DJ-ing, etc. He's done a darn good job of leading these 12 boys. I"m very proud of him [BUT, Yunho is doing a darn fine job of leading DBSk members also! haha ] still, i'd go with teukie

Their both good leaders but handle things differently.
Yunho is much more strict and demand more from each member. That why DBSK stage perfermances are more intense, while Eeteuk uses more of the "friend" approach that why SuJu stage perfermances looks likes their having fun and more relaxed.
To put it in other propective.
Yunho is like the teacher that would give you pop quizes and weekend homework. Eeteuk is like the teacher that would take you on class trips and have class parties.
But both are great in their own way.

Lee Teuk is different in a sense that most of the time Super Junior members do things separately. So in contrast, Super Junior might not appear on-screen together as much as DBSK do. Thus, this may somewhat 'lightens' Lee Teuk's load as sometimes he does not have to manage some members' schedule (??). I'm not sure, but if he has to manage ALL 12 schedules he would be half-dead by now. I suppose he only handles the 'group schedule', which is whenever SuJu come out together.
DBSK, however, appear together a lot, so Yunho has to ensure everything goes on well. If you consider that, it's hard for him not to be demanding. Plus, maybe his personality has something to do with it. Perhaps Teuk is naturally more... easy-going than Yunho.

YUNHo! definitely/ not because i'm a total tvxq!cum yunjae fan! but on the objective side, yunho has stronger leadership abilities and potential. handling 4 members may not be comparible to eeteuk's 12, but i still feel yunho is a better leader. Yunho is more stable in terms of standing firm, and you can just respect him with his presence. He is a good role model, and throughout his career, nothing negative has come out from the media. As for eeteuk, he's more gentle, and he has definitely made his fair share of mistakes. he seems to just blend in as a member, while you know yunho stands out as the leader. heeh:) happy new year everyone

yunhoo of dbsk because he sings and great at dancing... in suju. leeteuk cant really sing..not sure about dancing
How can you say that? Eeteuk is a great dancer, and he's more amazing live than in the studio.
Eeteuk blends in more with Super Junior, like he's more of their brother/friend than a leader and I actually think thats really cool. So I prefer SuJu Eeteuk.

yunho is more mature and the group has been out for longer.... but it's so cute how they live together =) i thought every group supposed to live together... oddly some of the suju members dont yunho can control DBSK very well and i think he's recognised as the leader more than eeteuk
