Inheriting both halves of her famous family's cinematic legacy,
the budding theater actress KC Concepcion demonstrated a
captivating flair for performing and exuding an angel faced
aura much to the fondness of the intriguing public.
Being an actress is truly on her bloodline and
there’s no stopping the prevalent veneration
for this “PYT” pretty young talent.

The daughter of megastar Sharon Cuneta and once matinee
idol Gabby Concepcion, KRISTINA CASSANDRA CUNETA
CONCEPCION simply known as KC , was born in Manila
, on April 7, 1985 weighing so fragile at 5.2 lbs..
Her name coalesces from her mom’s choice of the name
Kristina and from dad’s attachment to the classic movie
“Cassandra Crossing “ thus evoking a beautiful and
seemingly immortal name Kristina Cassandra. An Arian
herself, which has a fire element of assertiveness and
instinctive identity as well as spontaneity, KC however
do not seemingly emanate this early the will of Aries which
is tension and passion but instead just want to be just any ordinary
girl who have different sides to everyone.

Her childhood was a dreamworld having sired with a backdrop of
fame, fortune and fanaticism, thanks however to her mom’s stanch
guidance that she grew up just like any other silver-spooned
benevolent child. Until the poignant part of a fairy tale came
when her parents parted for good, that they were the focal point
of public sympathy. We reminisce the little KC on moments such as
when she stood nonchalantly on her mom’s side while we listen to
Sharon’s rendering that Christmas song “Pasko na Sinta Ko” on a
TV show or that cute tissue giver at her mom’s frequent sobs on her
live concerts., or that delightful grin which is a dead ringer of
her dad’s charming look whenever her mom greets her daughter among
the live TV audience.

As the world turns, her life too has full of promises and
transformations given a surrogate father that is Francis “Kiko”
Pangilinan, her mom’s new found love and a baby sister Simone
Francesca Emmanuelle.
She values her family more than ever and she constantly speaks of
love and affection towards them. In fact her relationship with her
mom is more than just the usual mother-daughter bonding but more
than that of profound friendship.


Now comes the exciting part of her life, her teenage years.
Her mother both fostered and resisted the notion of her photogenic
daughter’s lure from the world of entertainment denizens, which
eventually however was displaced by near being a stage mother ,
knowing that KC, an emergent thespian logged her first professional
credit on the legitimate world of theater. She auditioned herself in
the musical play “The Little Mermaid” without drawing as reference
the fame of her parents. At this point, she’s the most sought after
face in the world of fashion having signed a P5M deal with a fresh
Bench TM line called Human.

On top of this newfound hectic sked, KC prioritizes her studies at
International School, in fact she's on the honor roll, a member of
the school choir and an officer of various school organizations.
She’s likewise enthusiastic and dynamic on such extra-curricular
activities like soccer and swimming.

Thus, nobody’s halting the own distinction claim of this young
lady as she rides the bandwagon towards theatrical plays and movieland.
Thanks to her mom Sharon for having taught her the virtue of being down to earth ,
unpretentious and affectionate for nobody so deserving of the megastar throne but KC
herself.

she had her "from Paris to Pinas" special aired last night...it was really great,she really lived the life of a normal student there...made great friends...

i really like her because even though she was in Paris she takes pride in being a Filipino..Pinay na Pinay talaga...

KC is really a Beautiful person inside and out... the way some Filipinos working in Paris describes her...and her charity works in the Philippines...she is truly an amazing woman...





KC Concepcion, daughter of famed Philippine celebrity Sharon Cuneta, visits the Virlanie foundation in Makati City. This charitable institution which she is planning to help gives her a very warm welcome. Being a famous celebrity herself, the young ladies and children look up to her as a role model. It was a very inspirational experience to the community of Virlanie.

Virlanie Foundation was the vision of frenchman Mr. Dominique Lemay. He set up the institution in1992 in Makati City in partnership with Filipino social workers.

Its first program was a home for teenagers. Since then, Virlaniehas grown to 12 homes and now cares for more than 300 children aged 0-18 yeas old who are abandoned, neglected, abused, just relesed from jail and/or under-privileged.

Jesus Christ! this girl is GORGEOUS!! .I am very interesting in Philippines entertainment,i know more about singers than actors or models tho.I am just so amazed about mix filipinos/nas .Beautiful people.How old is she?and she seems to have a big heart too.

wow! first time on KC's thread! I have always been amazed by KC ever since I can remember...I have liked her and "envied" (heehee) her snce she was just a kid..and I LOVE the woman she has become..the fact that she was not always in the limelight...the way she just "teases" the adoring public with her sporadic TV appearances...it's brilliant! people never get tired of her. people are always interested in her next move.

and yes, I have also watched her "KC from paris to pinas" special..and i was surprisingly delighted that I actually didn't get bored of the show...it was wonderfully made..the pacing was just right,in my opinion..and I like the fact that inspite of being the mega-daughter with the fame and fortune that comes with it..KC has chosen to live a normal student's life in Paris..saw her ironing her own clothes! wow!! plus! she spoke in our language in the special! i was expecting KC to speak in ENGLISH! made me like her more! Go KC!

nokie, kc would be 22 by now. she's young but already has a lot of achievements. not certain though if KC is mixed...she is not known in the country as someone with mixed blood but I bet her dad has some foreign blood in him..not sure though..help anyone?

added info for you: KC can sing, hence she was included in the stage play LITTLE MERMAID, which also means that she can act, and I know that KC can dance right guys? didn't she have this dance number during her 18th bday? KC is mutiltalented actually..she is also a figure skater..and yes, she definitely has a big heart! plus..she's fluent in French..and I know that she was giving Chinese lessons while she was in Paris too!

i love the fact that when she visited the family of the OFW she befriended in Paris, the family prepared some meal for her..and I was happy to see her put TILAPIA on her plate! haha..i know some might think...what's the big deal eh? but yeah, I myself don't get tilapia in gatherings...waaaah...

tsiy, i agree..KC does have a tendency to get big like her mom..but I'm certain she is aware of that..so hope she does not get so big..though I know that we shouldn't make a big deal out of it....there are more into KC than her size..lol..in her special..she did look kinda big in there..though when i saw her again when she got back..she looked like she has lost weight...

awww...I have not watched the vid that jericho has psoted. but i did watch a lot of her TV appearances specially on her mom's show where she always sings. I don't think she is a power house singer but yeah, her voice is not bad at all. I have a friend who likes it a lot though. and I love the fact that when she went to that orphange/foundation that her French friend put up here in the Philippines, she sang a song for the kids. and i was amazed that KC knows the song. since she is in Paris. I thought she won't be that updated with out local music scene. but, again, KC proved me wrong. and I'm happy that she did.

yes, we consider KC a pure Filipina..but i think what nokie researched is right. she has foreign blood in her. look at her grandma and her grandma's sister Helen Gamboa. they don't look that Pinay to me. plus KC's father , Gabby, is so mestizo. however, KC is very much a Filipina in her ways.

nokie, here's what I got from the net. KC earned a Bachelor of Arts degree major in International Corporate Communications and minor in Theatre Arts from the American University in Paris in August 2007. she kept on mentioning this on her Kc from Paris to Pinas special, however, it is such a mouthful that I can't remember it la. I thnk she said that this is in mass media as well but on the corporate side hence, International Corporate Communications. hehe.

I was reading one of our magazines here, the YES issue of the 100 most beautiful in our country. and naturally, KC is in it. they had categorized it. and KC is in the 'cover girl" category along with Lucy Torres and Gretchen Baretto. The article said that KC is a fave cover girl becoz any mag that has got KC on it in the cover sells like hot cakes. One of those mag people said that 90% or was it 95% of their published issue gets sold if KC is in the cover. If I do have the time I will type the article. it's kind long. but note that this might take time alright?

btw, I think KC atm is not that very visible on TV. though my mom did tell me that she has a project with Piolo Pascual (an actor) . I am not just certain if it's gonna be a tv series.

I like this girl... even though she's the daughter of THE megastar of Philippine entertainment (which is nice too...), she's so down-to-earth and very humble. it seems she can be friends with anyone from all walks of life.

I hope that now she's back in the Philippines and "officially" entering showbusiness, she chooses good projects to showcase her talents and not just do whatever project just because they were offered to her, you know what i mean...

I watched her TV special too... it made me want to learn French so I could speak it too! She sounds really good talking in French... wow

KC has no plans at the moment to enter into showbiz...she wants to try her hand in the news and current affairs like her idol Ms. Korina Sanchez...

i also like the fact that KC and her siblings, inspite of their wealth, were brought up knowing the value of money. that is pretty amazing if you ask me.

hey you guys! i have been away from AF for weeks i think...but i so wanted to post here coz I just read on the newspaper that Miss Earth will be hosted by KC!!! with VJ UTT!!! OMG! i wanna watch. I love KC.and VJ UTT! hahaha....pageant night would be tomorrow at 9. at UP Theater. if u guys are near the area..OMG. try to watch. I know that there are tix...but those are for free...the first time I saw KC was at UP Theater when her mom celebrated her bday there...we got in for free...and we only decided to watch while my mates and I were doing nothing in our institute..and last year or was it the other year..my friend and her mom got to watch Miss Earth as well..it was a spur of the moment thing..they were in the area and decided to see if they could get in..and lucky them..they were able to! anyways, what I'm trying to say is if you can...try to get in...I do't think it would be that hard to get in...I plan on going to my home town for the weekend...but now I have this big decision to make...to watch or not to watch! aiyo! so there nokie! that's what KC's up to atm. she also went to watch Beyonce in concert when Beyonce came over. KC was of course in the news. hehe. Oh, btw, did you know that KC is/was an MTV VJ? but I'm not sure though if she's an MTV ASIA VJ or MTV Philippines only. anyone care to clarify?

unfortunately, as udolits said...KC was not the one who hosted the pageant with VJ UTT! it was a former Miss Earth title holder who took her place...don't know why KC was not there..I only found out that she was hosting the event the morning of the pageant night...hmm..don't know if the newspaper was mistaken...remind me not to buy that paper again! hehe...

KC Concepcion had her hands full during the weekend as she shuttled from one place to another to grace two worthwhile projects that she promotes enthusiastically.

KC's first stop was Eastwood Center, Libis, Quezon City, last Saturday, November 24, to personally attend the Artists Fair Pilipinas III bazaar, which she co-organized. The beauteous commercial model has been a fixture in various charitable trade fairs sprouting around the metropolis.

"Hopefully, next time may mga ibang artists na kaming mai-invite from Cebu, Davao, ganyan. It's a half-celebrity bazaar. Celebrities selling their second-hand items, dahil mahilig ang tao sa mga artista and yung mga lumang kagamitan na cheap lang," explained KC to PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) while holding a pen and paper containing her event checklist.

Doing her share enthusiastically, KC dug into her closet and took out some old European magazines, clothes, hats and bags—all sold out during the first day of the bazaar.

But more than celebrities selling their items, the bazaar also serves as the perfect venue for artists like painters, young designers, and even poets to exhibit their works for potential buyers.

"Sana in the same way na mahilig sila sa mga artista, we also learn to enjoy visual arts. Dahil mga Pinoy napaka-talented and I'm sure masisiyahan sila ‘pag nahanap nila yung kasiyahan doon sa art," said optimist KC.

KC shares her inspiration when she was living in Paris: "Siguro kasi I lived in a place na very passionate about visual arts and very supportive of their artists. There's always a venue for their passion na kahit isang sulok ng kalye meron kang makikitang artist na walang kaabog-abog nagpipinta lang siya or nagtitinda lang siya ng kung anu-ano. Nawawala ‘yong ego nila, parang nandoon ‘yong pride nila sa pagpapakita ng art nila kahit kanino."

KC Concepcion had her hands full during the weekend as she shuttled from one place to another to grace two worthwhile projects that she promotes enthusiastically.

KC's first stop was Eastwood Center, Libis, Quezon City, last Saturday, November 24, to personally attend the Artists Fair Pilipinas III bazaar, which she co-organized. The beauteous commercial model has been a fixture in various charitable trade fairs sprouting around the metropolis.

"Hopefully, next time may mga ibang artists na kaming mai-invite from Cebu, Davao, ganyan. It's a half-celebrity bazaar. Celebrities selling their second-hand items, dahil mahilig ang tao sa mga artista and yung mga lumang kagamitan na cheap lang," explained KC to PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) while holding a pen and paper containing her event checklist.

Doing her share enthusiastically, KC dug into her closet and took out some old European magazines, clothes, hats and bags—all sold out during the first day of the bazaar.

But more than celebrities selling their items, the bazaar also serves as the perfect venue for artists like painters, young designers, and even poets to exhibit their works for potential buyers.

"Sana in the same way na mahilig sila sa mga artista, we also learn to enjoy visual arts. Dahil mga Pinoy napaka-talented and I'm sure masisiyahan sila ‘pag nahanap nila yung kasiyahan doon sa art," said optimist KC.

^I completely agree. I think she completely defied the usual model stereotype. She's not skinny and she's not as tall as the super models I see on Ftv. I really like her. She's pretty, sensible, smart and simple. She's also very involved in various charity and social works. She's one proud Pinay and I think young Pinays should look up to her. Hi Everybody! oh so glad to have found this thread! hahaha...i've always been a KC fan ever since a kid. I've seen her since she was a kid and followed through. I love it that she seems to be on top of her game. but yeah she needs more singing practice! i think she got nervous that's why..she played as belle in Beauty and the Beast Philippine production, didn't have the chance to watch the whole thing but i heard rave reviews.
I love her BAYO ads btw...gosh...wish i had a body like hers.
OOOHHH i remember, i saw her in real life. she always had that big smile and you can't feel any air of being a very beautiful celeb around her. she's like a normal person unawares that everybody around her was looking at her. so pretty indeed!!
