I just finished watching episode 54 of this series yesterday with my dad and we were discussing about whether does Wing Biu relaly love Ching Yiu or is he just using her as a revenge weapon. So then I decided to make a topic today and see what you guys have to say. My dad said that Wing Biu probably married Ching Yiu so he can get back at Man Hang when Man Hang caused him to lose all his money in which I don't remember what episode that was in. I sort of disagreed. I mean Wing Biu was always by Ching Yiu's side when Wai Lun dumped her for his ex-wife Bo Wai. He made up a lot of lies to tell her so she wouldn't know the truth. But isn't when you love a person very much, you will try to cover up the things you have done with lies. I really thought Wing Biu really loved Ching Yiu, but then the things he is doing to the Wah family is actually hurting her.

So what do you guys think, do you guys think Wing Biu loves Ching Yiu or is just using Ching Yiu as a weapon to get revenge from Man Hang?

I think Wing Biu truly loves Ching Yu, but I think the marriage was probably part due to love and part due to maintaining a definite secure position as part of the Wah family. I haven't finish the serie yet, but unless Ching Yu did something that disgusted Wing Biu from eppie 51-60, then I think his feelings for her are very much real. He has loved and cared for Ching Yu for so long, from a crush to being good friends, to being lovers and then to a married couple, and there were hardly any signs he felt otherwise.

i think wing biu really loves ching yu. he's hiding all the things from her because he doesn't want ching yu to know the truth and maybe leave him.

For once I hated Wing Biu so much that I thought he married Ching Yu for a purpose!
But actually Wing Biu loved Ching Yu from the start & always stood by her even though she loved another guy(Will)! We could see that his love was true & unconditional......he just wanted to see her happy!

However, after they got married. Wing Biu's character did change a bit ......he was too obsessed with the idea of getting what he deserved & to prove that he was capable & able to run the business! He just wanted to prove he could do it on his own to build up his own empire! To take care of Ching Yu with his own abilities & not under Wah Family..... & to get back what he deserved!

No matter what, Wing Biu would always put Ching Yu first......just like he didn't go to an important Board Meeting because Ching Yu was brought into the hospital so he would rather attending her first & gave up going to the meeting!

I was so happy that he eventually realized he was wrong & repented because of his love to Ching Yu. Remembered that there's one scene.....he was so angry with Ching Yu that he nearly killed her but he stopped after seeing the video clips of their happy moments together on the tele. that he immediately stopped & came back to his senses!
I think their baby is another encouragement for him...... to behave & set a good example to his son!

I honestly think that Wing Biu really does love Ching Yiu... i agree with Annie083 that Wing Biu was by ching Yiu side no matter what. I just think that Wing Biu let his greed for power and money take over his personality and he became a shelfish. I am not even sure that Wing Biu knew he was hurting Ching Yiu by wanting to take over her family business. All and all tho my thoughts are his love for her was true.

I think Wing Biu really loves Ching Yiu. He help Ching Yiu when she was sad like when she broke up with Will. When they got marry I agree with Annie083 that he did change a bit. Even though he tries to get revenge for the Wah family he stills try to do anything to try and not hurt Ching Yiu's feelings.

Wow, I never expected this question to come up. To me, Wing Biu always loved Ching Yu. He loved her for so many years when his feelings weren't returned. It started as a long crush..and finally moved into mutual love and marriage. As for his turn evil, I felt it was always, he wanted to prove to the Wah family that he could establish himself in business and provide for Ching Yu without the Wah family. And that objective blinded him to the fact that what he was doing in the end to the Wah family hurt Ching Yu the most.

I think Joe really loves and cares for Jessica, he married her but I think he wants to part of the wealth of her family and revenge at her dad too.. But you do see that he really has alot of feelings for her.

I think he really does love her and not neccessarily for revenge. But because she is a part of the family helps him a lot with his revenge.

i think he didnt really like her due to the fact when hes always using her to revenge against family.. but then near the end he actually starts to like her when she always starts to help him

I haven't gotten to those episodes yet but so far from what i see, i think joe ma is realli evil and that he's using jessica. like they say, one stone to kill two birds. if he realli love her, he would not do this to hurt her. he is the middle person, and from what i see, wat he has done so far has hurt her so much.
i think ppl always use the excuse of "i did this because i love you", but that's not love. it is selfishness things that they are doing.
jo ma has always been the bad guys in most of the series he's in so i don't expect this one to be any different.

i think he really does love her. his pride and his need for establishment and ambitions got the best of him. and it overpowered him i think to turn evil. even tho he really does love her, its just the power thing that got the best of him.

He really does love her but his need for revenge acts upon his love for her.
Ching Yiu means a lot to him but all those thoughts of revenge got the best of him and he couldn`t think past those thoughts.

I am nearly finish watching this .... however, I believe Wing Biu does really love CY despite
the fact that he may also want to take revenge on her father, which is kinda conflicting really.

I think he really loves Ching Yu. He was jealous of her and Will together so that kinda proves that he does like her. The revenge started when the father fired him and did not want Wing Biu to take over Wah Zhit (the company). I think this was the reason. I finished this like couple months ago so please correct me if I'm wrong. Wing Biu wanted to prove to Damian that he did the wrong thing of not trusting him.

Wing Biu definitely does love Ching Yiu. I think throughout the series this was made quite obvious. I still think Wealth and Fame was still his highest priority, but he does love Ching Yiu.

I think he really does love her, not only because I have seen the ending, but because he has always been in love with her. But that doesn't excuse nor even explain his actions, he's still very much a bad guy!
