I'm beginning to like this artist. & it's very rare that I bump into an impressive singer, because some previous 'newcomers' really didn't impress me.
I was listening to the first posted up MV, I thought he kind of sound like Ron Ng, but then better. As much as I love Ron too, Pakho sings way better hehe. So I also viewed the live version & wow to that one. I was like : Is it really live? It sounds too good to be true. But seriously, this guy is good. & It's a plus he looks good too hehe. *Will he go into the 'acting business too?*

haha I <3 Pakho too!! he's soo goodlooking & talented. His singing might not be the BEST out there, but he has a unique sound, a slightly rockish feel. Plus, he writes some of his stuff. I love 同天空, it's not a love song, and it's about youth and dreams.

d0ggiel0ver, there are 2 versions for 同天空. The long hair one is TVB version and is the older one. He cut his hair (SOOO MUCH HOTTER!) for the other one, Warner's.

Haha, he already has rumors with Fiona. I've seen the blog post in question, and must say, it really doesn't sound like it's directed towards his fans Seems like Fiona has been rumored with everyone in her company!

Yea I think Warner had no choice but to release the Ep if they didn't then they'd miss the deadline and Pakho won't qualify for any newcomer awards! But I really think they should've made a full album, his album was looking really promising since the songs were the pop/rock type of songs yet it was because it was an EP that I didn't buy it.

Pahko Chau Condemns Fans for Wearing School Uniform to JSG

Pakho Chau, Kary Ng and Andy Hui were performers on Wednesday night’s ‘Jade Solid Gold’. In the audience, there were approximately 10 Pakho fans who were wearing their school uniform. During an interview after the show, Pakho commented, “I have never seen fans supporting me in their uniform. I was quite surprised. They should have changed when they finished school. They should respect their school. I will encourage them to do the right thing.”

Meanwhile, Kary was wearing a back revealing outfit with four inch high shoes while performing, making it quite dangerous for her while she stepped off and on the stage. Regarding this, Kary expressed that in order to look good, she cannot do anything about it. Kary, who is well known for her long beautiful legs, disclosed that because she has been running to train her breathing technique for her upcoming concert, her legs have become muscular. This has made her very worried because she is afraid that her legs won’t look good if she wears dresses.

Actually my favorite songs on Pakho's ep is 同天空 and 哦. I love the intro to 哦.

Btw, have you guys been keeping up reading Pakho's blog. He really is a good writer. Btw, in the Chik Chak post in his blog, is the person he referring to Endy?? Pakho said that if he's as good as that person says that he is, then he'll win Composer-Singer Gold the next year..And it's adorable how he refers to Khalil, as the big master

Stephanie Cheng and Pakho Chau Try Their Hand at Wrapping Zong



Yesterday, Stephanie Cheng and Pakho Chau were filming for a Dragon Boat Festival special for "The Scoop." The two rolled up their sleeves to attempt to make zong! Stephanie, who always loves to eat, actually loves to eat fat pork! She laughed and said, "It's only once a year, not scared!"

The two were wrapping zong under the guidance of a professional zong maker. The playful zong maker obviously favored Stephanie, and even asked to stand by her side to teach her! This made Pakho very awkward and very clumsy when wrapping the zong. In the end, the zong sifu praised Stephanie's zong, saying that it was just the right size and she successfully passed. However, Pakho failed! Afterwards, Pakho explained, "Even though the apperance is unsuccessful, it is wonderful inside, because there is a lot of filling!"

That's Pakho's new haircut! Actually Pakho fans also wondered if he's in BF3. He did get a haircut..but he has not been to any blessing ceremony for it..

I love reading his blog. He has great photography skills, and he sounds so down to earth and intelligent.

He was so hot in Love is Elsewhere, and he played a doctor, which is a plus for me. I hate his pairing with Chelsea too! He looked so much better with Charmaine, and they looked so cute in the behind the scenes clips I've watched of them.

Yup, I love reading Pakho's blog too, because he's insightful. It's like Pakho is too good to be true..not only does he have the looks, but he's so humble as well and so nice.

I wish he had cut the hair when he was at Solar Project taking that pic with Char But hmm, I read the blog post in question that the reporters said was to Fiona, and I gotta admit that I don't believe Pakho's answer that it was to his fans. It was definately to someone special to him..

Haha, he's really shy around Stephanie as well. He's always too afraid to look at Steph when they're performing their duet. At JSG, Steph said, he wouldn't even look into my eyes. I really hope Pakho's new album has the NEW MV with him and Steph because the TVB one was sooo bad. But I heard there's another version of the MV!

OMG we think alike, I fell in more in love with Pakho after hearing that he would play a doctor. I love doctors Are you talking about the BTS clip where Charmaine hit his face with the cup and ran over to hold his head? that was SO cute. Plus, both them are tall and make a great pair

That clip was so cute. I love how Charmaine totally freaked out over it. I couldn't help but notice how much compatible they look compared to Pahko and Chelsea. Haha I love doctors too. Even though there weren't really scenes of him as a doctor, it just made him so much more attractive to me.

I saw the blog entry too, and that was definitely not directed to fans. The way Fiona and him talked about his hair was funny. His previous hair gave him a younger look though, and it matched Charlene who also had a younger image that day.

I am so in love with 一事无成. The MV was a disappoint though, but I read somewhere the official version will come out when his new album releases. Hopefully it's way better than the TVB one.

shawty: Yup, you should check out the "Love is Elsewhere" thread in the movie section. Everyone was hating on Chelsea and preferred Pakho & Charmaine!! Yeah, not to mention that Charmaine write lyrics while Pakho composes. Perfect match!

LOL Fiona's description of his hair was funny but she made it sound like he had a bowl on his head. Agree though, Pakho always looks older than his age! Even he blogged about the smiles and deep creases, how ppl say he looks so old with them! But I find his smile so genuine.

I LOVE 一事无成 BUT the TVB MV was soo bad. Mainly because of the bad lighting and ..Pakho's "dancing," he looks so stiff but cute when doing it! I saw a short clip of the other MV and it looks a whole lot better than the TVB one. Hope it will be released with Pakho's album!

Have you watched Pakho & Steph perform on JSG? Pakho was sick so his voice was kind of bad BUT their version of 憑著愛 was gooddd!



Also I can't wait to watch his RTHK series with Ella and Cathy, 我是香港人. Pakho would be such a good looking pair with Ella. With Cathy as well, but she CUT her hair and she looks AWFUL. Like she's a pretty girl and would look lovely with Pakho..but the hair doesn't do her justice..AND Pakho ends with Cathy.

The performance was amazing. Stephanie is a really great singer, too bad she's so underpromoted. Pakho sounded good too, esp for someone who was sick.

Well both Cathy and Pakho fans thought the series was gonna be released at the end of June on TVB..but that clearly has not happened. Yeah, Cathy's hair, it's not just that it's short, because short hair can look nice, but like she made it like a boy cut. And she said she did it especially for the series. She is sooo much prettier with her longer hair and I would have a tough time choosing if it was Cathy in that hair for the triangle! Sigh, I really wanna watch it! Pakho said he liked filming it, because there's a scene where he and Cathy are hugging in bed, and Ella walks in!

Stephanie is definately an underrated singer, she's good live as well. Pakho was decent for someone who was sick, though it was weird that his voice sounded ok for 憑著愛 but was clearly off for 一事无成. But I loved the Pakho-Steph collaboration, because it's clearly more of a Stephanie song more than Pakho's. I liked how Pakho is trying different stuff.

His new hair definitely gives him a younger image. Fiona was right, his features make him look older, so a young haircut balances it out.

It's good that Pakho is trying different stuff, it sounds very refreshing. The perf for 憑著愛 was a lot better than 一事无成. I think it has to do with the fact that this isn't really Pakho's type of song. I would love to hear a Stephanie solo version though, but it would be kinda weird.

I'm really looking forward to the series, the Ella walking in scene sounds like it would be full of emotions. I'm looking forward to how Pakho acts, he wasn't that great in "Love is Elsewhere". He was decent, but he wasn't as bad as some people say. But then again, I might be just biased.

Yeah I was reading the HK boards and there's quite some criticism for Pakho on 一事无成, saying that he ruins the duet. And he can't get "into" the song and of course that it's disappointing because he drags down Steph's great performance. While I would say that Pakho wasn't as good as Stephanie in it, it's NOT that bad. I still LOVE the song A LOT. Have you heard Pakho's new plug?

I have yet to watch the movie, but my friend (who is a Pakho fan) said his acting was awful. But it's his debut ..so I'm willing to forgive. Though others have told me that he wasn't that bad. But it's a series, so filming & getting into the character should be easier because it's longer in length, so hope for the best. Plus, Ella's a good actress so maybe she could help him with it! Yup at first it was Ella & Pakho as a couple..but Cathy (who's Ella's sister, scandalous!) steals him away. She gets pregnant and her and Pakho get married.

Gasp, I just noticed that dee-lush uploaded some great pics of Pakho in his AF gallery. Not to mention, pics of Steph & Pakho MV filming! I LOVE them together, and I can't wait to see the MV. Steph's shoes look like the ones that Pakho wore/took pic of before must be the Nike sponsorship. But woah Steph, blue pants + neon green shoes. Pakho should have used one of the cats that Steph gave to him as a present for the MV filming!

I read some of the criticism too. I understand that Stephanie was obviously better, but come on, he wasn't as bad as some people say. And he's trying something out of his usual comfort zone, so of course it wouldn't be perfect. I'm sure he'll continue to improve.

Yea Ella is a good actress, and she has decent chemistry with most of her costars. I'm really looking forward to how Pakho's character and acting are going to turn out. OMG Ella and Cathy play sisters? Whoa, talk about drama. This makes me anticipate the series even more.

It's great that Pakho at least is going out of his comfort zone to try different things. At least it shows that he's trying different styles. Actually, his 3 songs this year are all different styles: 傻小子, 宏願, and 一事无成. 傻小子 is a ballad which he has done before, but not his usual while 宏願 is his normal style.

He sounded so happy that they used the song in the video, it's sweet how he kept thanking them. The dance was a bit corny though, but it was still nice to see people use his song.

Just saw his most recent blog post. He's such a fan of Nike, and he looks so good in a basketball uniform. It makes me want to see him play basketball for real. He must have been such a hottie on the courts.

I really like 宏願, even more than 傻小子. Although 宏願 is a typical Pakho song and sounds quite similar to some of the songs on his debut album, it's more suitable for his voice.

Yeah the pics in that blog post are soo hot! I loved the basketball one and the one with him in the blue-queen jacket. LOL actually he was a hottie on the courts. He mentioned that he used to play basketball a lot in school and attracted a lot of girls' attention. They would all buy him drinks to get to know him when he was playing LOL, i would too!

Speaking of Nike, remember in blog post, he took a pic of Fiona with the Nike shoe in the background. He put the focus on the shoe and NOT Fiona, LOL!

Pakho said he's level 7 piano! He convinced his mom to let him learn piano because the teacher was a pretty girl. LOL. I wanna see him play the piano more, haven't seen too much of that. Actually another connection with Ella, Ella can play the piano well too.

Pakho Chau and Stephanie Cheng have very different views on love. Pakho, who sings sad love songs like gives off the impression of being shy when it comes to love. In reality, he is the brave type. Pakho: It was actually my idea to get Stephanie to duet. I immediately liked the song when I received the demo. The song originally only had a female voice in a featuring role. But I felt that the song had a dance feel, so I thought why not ask Stephanie to duet.

Stephanie: When I received the song, I really liked the lyrics that Wyman Wong wrote. It talks about how society views success. Success is not only measured by money, grades in school, or social status. If one is able to find a beautiful love relationship, it is another type of success as well.

Pakho: Right! I really learned something from Wyman's lyrics, because I have never heard before that love is a type of success. Now, I understand that success depends on the person, because each person's abilities are different, so the path that each person takes is different .

Stephanie: I find that the song is very meaningful. Ordinary people are not failures. It's already an accomplishment to work hard at solving problems.

Pakho: Actually when one works hard to accomplish something, it is already an achievement. Like how the song talks about finding true love, in today's society, that is already a mark of success.

Stephanie: But to be able to find true love is difficult, because it's an art to be able to interact and communicate with another person. There has to be acceptance, tolerance, and understanding of the other person. If love was that easy, there would not be so many breakups and divorces. Which is why when I see those couples that work, I envy them.

Pakho: My view on love is that there must be respect and honesty between the couple. Everything must be said clearly, because communication is very important, so there must be more talking.

Stephanie: I believe that one can't be too selfish in love, or it will hurt the other person. Also, communication needs time to perfect, so everyone must be patient.

Pakho: Actually I find that you are pretty good yourself, I seriously considered you before. Haha! Because you like to laugh, fun, and retarded! I'm not saying that you are retarded, but am referring that you believe in simplicity. I feel that for two people, the most important thing is happiness, that the two can always laugh together!

Stephanie: Quite frightened that you considered me! The Pakho I know is easy to approach and very hardworking. It is very comfortable to interact with you, I feel that you are the active type, but I am the fantasy type.


Pakho and Stephanie have different views on love, but the two love the lyrics of their duet!

Pakho: When I find my true love, I am the active type. I won't be afraid that the other person misunderstands. I will have a plan and preparation to tell her my feelings.

Stephanie: I feel that I must interact with the guy first to see if he is the right one for me. I am a very slow to warm up person. Even if I have feelings for the guy, I will wait for the guy to be the active one. I won't give him any signals. If you are so straighforward, aren't you afraid of scaring the girl?

Pakho: I'm not afraid that we can't be friends. If it doesn't work out, then she isn't my true love! dee-lush really posted great pics of Pakho in the gallery. He's still a little kid inside but can yet be manly and hot! He really does resemble Shawn, though Pakho has the friendlier big kid grin. Though Pakho when he first entered the industry with the long hair was ..bad. SO glad he chopped it off. SO much hotter with the short hair. He looked more Japanese with the long hair.

I believed he played the piano in the debut, at a mini-concert with Khalil and Fiona. I recently saw an old Scoop on him..and he plays the guitar too. Hopefully one day we get a concert where Pakho can show off all his musical talents! Can he get hotter, I mean playing piano and guitar too???

Thanks for the Steph-Pakho pics..I translated the accompanying article. They are cute together. It's funny because they sound like they would be a good match. One is more active in pursing, the other is more silent I saw part of the MV too, it looks GOOD, it's SO much better than the TVB one. At least it has no corny, chessy like laser lights? LOL, Pakho looks smoother with the grooving.

Here's a minor bit of Pakho-Fiona news..Fiona said that, "You can't call him handsome, he'll get boastful!" and Pakho's like.."I'm shy!" adorable

I remember seeing play the guitar at the TVB anniversary celebration thingy. He is so talented. Not only is he athletic, but he can play musical instruments. He's like the perfect guy, so sweet and down to earth. Not to mention he's hot.

Yea the MV was definitely better than the TVB version. I want more interactions between them like in the pictures though. I agree, Pakho looked a lot more natural dancing than in this version. And no more green lights! They were so annoying.

They BOTH got new haircuts recently..Pakho was late by 10 mins. At first he didn't admit but later he did. Reporters asked Steph how she felt just waiting for him. She said, "he gave me more time for my makeup!" and defended him that he was hardly ever late!

I want to hear more of Pakho's compisitions. Seems like it's the trend nowadays for singers to compose their own songs.

He and Stephanie look so cute at the function. His hair grows really fast, he's had 2 haircuts in a short period of time. He looks so much better with short hair than long hair.

Happy that Pakho updated his blog even when in Beijing! I was worried that he wouldn't update for a while since he was away. He's so worried about his photobook! Haha in the pics he posted, his book is selling next to Cathy's!!! Seriously he should work on one together with Mandy Chiang. They are both such avid photographers!

Pakho asked Fiona to be the female lead for 宏願 MV and she said yes! They do look cute together. LOL, so many ladies for Pakho in his MVs in this new album! Stephanie and now Fiona. But it looks tragic, Fiona's going to get hit by a car and dies (seriously how many times has this been used in MVs)? But Pakho is supposedly a shy guy who cannot talk Looks like it's gonna be a test for Pakho's acting to see him reacting to Fiona's death!

I really want a copy of his photobook. Is it pictures of him, or pictures he's taken? Either way, I'm sure it'll be really nice. I love looking at his photos, he's such an amazing photographer.

I'm so looking forward to this MV (along with 一事无成). I agree, the storyline seems a bit generic and typical, but nonetheless, I can't wait to see their interactions, esp Pakho's acting. His role in the MV seems like there's going to be lots of emotions involved. Though I'm not quite loving his yellow pants... doesn't really match with the muffler. But he still looks handsome (as usual).
