I thought that it was a good movie although some parts didn't make too much sense (to me at least). I don't understand why Hiro couldn't just tell Mika what was going on when it first happened. He let her go and kept avoiding her purposely, but at the same time he wanted her to chase him. What was the point? They could have been together longer if he didn't waste all that time. But I guess it made the movie more interesting.
I would still recommend it though

hmm i guess it's bcos it's a real story? so they can't change the script? XD it won't be koizora if the story is changed. =p
btw i didn't read the novel so i don't know what is the difference between the movie version compared to the novel version.

oh my god, ii loved this movie^^
ii love the characters, the plot,
everything. it made me cry
towards the end..soo sad
ii know that they made a Koizora
drama, but ii didn't like the new
characters..they didn't seem at
all cute or pretty to melol..so ii
decided not to watch it. besides,
there was no way that the drama
could live up to the movie..but
that's just in my opinion.

I missed the screening of the movie the month that it was shown and I totally forgot about it.
I recommend watching Koizora from MySoju.com.I'm sure no one wants to watch such a touching movie with subs right?

I bought the Dvd and watching over and over again lol.
Though I'd already seen many dramas and movies which had the same plot, this movie was really a new experience for me.The sweet song by Mr.Children at the end was really a greaat bonus~!

me and my friend decided to watch this yesterday. i thought overall the storyline was pretty sad ): their acting, in my opinion was mediocre, but the girl was pretty likeable and the guy played the 'cool' character quite well. his blonde hair was hot lol
but yeah, i cried twice and the ending was pretty sad

fallin in love with Haruma-kun from this movie.
I first saw him in 14 sai no haha, but didn't like him at all. It was not his false but the role itself. But being “hiro” in Koisora was a great. He looked gorgeous.

The movie itself is also great - such a definately tearjerker one. I like it more than the dram a version.
The DVD sold in my country is also fabulous. It comes with nice package and sort of cute stuffs like a glove and small snow man.
Dunno if the other country has the same

I'm sure if you order online it'll have the whole package... but the DVD is a little pricey....
I wonder if they will have this movie out with english subtitles...

I would still recommend it though

Hiro didn't wish for Mika to chase him after the illness, instead, he couldn't be selfish and keep her when he knew he was dying and would ruin chances of her catching her dreams careerwise and romancewise. He ill treated Mika so that she can close his chapter and move on with life, in which it worked, she did. She entered college, had a new boyfriend, and spent her youth wisely but still, like she said, without Hiro, there is no happiness. He waited for her in silence; it's like, if you love someone, you'll always wait whether that person will return or not. Hiro wasn't sure how deep or serious Mika's love for him was. He left her thinking that it was the best for them but you can totally see that he was so happy with tears when she confessed that she had only always loved him and he just broke down and accepted that he couldn't run away from her any longer. Remember, he actually followed her through the years apart.
A very genuine and sweet story. I totally support it. The acting was the most important thing and it was successfully portrayed. I love Haruma; so intense, so impressive. I'm now a fan.
i have seen this movie..very touching story..
it's kinda good...
miura looked handsome in this movie..
love it...

i thought this movie was going to be boring because of the title but in fact i finished it! it's not boring at all. add to the plot (w/c is common) the fact that the main actors are very good-looking (hiro is <3 ). one of my fave japanese movies.

the movie. i love this movie. i waited for a long time before i was finally able to see this.
and i must say i wasn't disappointed... yes the story was a bit of a cliche... well, actually, it isn't. but it isn't complicated, all the more reason that's why it's beautiful. a beauty doesn't need to be complicated, for it to be beautiful.
simplicity is beauty. at least this story proved it.

PS
if anyone knows where i can have a copy of the novel in english, I'd be really grateful if you share. ^^

The Kinokuniya in Singapore has the book in Chinese. I've finish reading them!!! The story from the book is very detailed and nice but I would say in terms of romance, I find that the movie version is more romantic
what is the name of the book? i can't find it...

OMG thats like my one of the best romance movies ive ever seen, very touching. but what i like the most about this movie is that it portrays today's issues like teenage pregnacy, rape, and terminal illnesses. it wasnt one of those mellow romance movies where you know whats gona happen next and too much drama and very little morals and the rest is smiley faces and cupcakes.just cliche.

The long wait is over and I decided to watch this movie coz I read positive comments about this.
I must say, the story is YOUR USUAL LOVESTORY PUT INTO ONE but I can't deny the fact that
it caught my heart despite of its flaw.
I dont really like Gakky,... in case of Haruma, I saw him on 14sai no haha, but i didn't finished that.
Haruma needs to do improve his acting and make it more realistic. There are times that I see some emotions. He just shouts. Worry not, I assure you. he's lovable.

Pure love. And see how
KAKKOII Hiro is, and his
dyed hair and his
piercings and his
clothes. I luvvit.
Yep, I became a haruma fangirl after watching this movie.

I finished watching this movie a while ago, and absolutely loved it! :') I was into it the whole time throughout the movie, there were cute scenes, funny scenes, and inspirational ones too. I liked the story for it, and the actors just made everything better. Gakky was cute 8D and I'm always gonna love Haruma. I hadn't cried that much in a long time for a movie/drama. (:
Definitely one of my favourite movies! ♥
