Lately, there has been lots of Charray fans rising and I do admit I used to think they looked pretty good before. Nowadays, I don't. Charmaine has been aging pretty fast these years (even though she is still pretty), I think her look is too mature for Raymond. Whenever I see them nowadays, I think of little brother and older sister. O.O Besides, from what I see, Raymond does not seem that enthusiastic whenever he is around Charmaine. He usually is looking stiff or not really smiling. If he smiles, it looks a bit forced and uncomfortable.

Maybe Raymond should be with younger girls who match his looks like Tavia, Linda, Michelle, etc. While Charmaine should go for older, mature looking men such as Moses Chan or Joe Ma.

^ That is just my opinion. Not trying to flame Charray because they looked pretty good before but they seem better off without each other.

So who thinks Charray is not a good pairing?

But I personally agree that Raymond looks better off with siu fa and Charmaine is better off with older actors of her generation and status. Physical looks and everything. Do they have chemistry??~~ well...I think Ray and Charmaine acts the same regardless they are with each other or not. It's not bad I guess, but it never got me to like them that's all.

When I watched LWOLAP, Charray didn't capture my attention. They were ok mostly. The offscreen pictures of Charray (them being all intimate and friendly) make them seem good together but after awhile, I see the same vibe around them. I don't see the excitement that emits from a couple.

I don't mind seeing them onscreen as a pair but offscreen, definitely not. Can't imagine it. >.<

Well..personally I don't really like Charray, no chemistry and they don't match. I guess I would want Ray to pair up with someone his age and Charmaine with actors like Bowie, Moses etc. Eh that's my opinion, don't flame me because I'm a fungyi fan

I'm thinking atm that Ray wants someone younger than him as his girlfriend if you're talking about real life. From his interview, he was like 'Linda is the actress I'm paired with who's younger than me' etc...so yea, Ray and Linda fans will be thrilled. I just accepted that because I'm only concerning on-screen now.

LWOLAP? The series itself was a bore...I gave it up after a few episodes. I heard it picked up its pace later etc...but I gave it a miss. Was it a rumour or something that Michelle was meant to be Sonjia's role etc... might have been more 'refreshing'. I like TOB's casting better, lead by newbies but everyone did a great job. Like watching a fanfic

Anyway, I have absolutely ZEN interest in this particular couple. Just a note: I'm neither a fan of Raymond nor a fan of Charmaine. Even though the age difference between the two isn't that wide-apart, I feel that Raymond should instead be paired up with an actress who's much younger because to be frank, Charmaine doesn't look her age... in fact, she looked a hell lot older than her current age.

I am not a FungYi Fan instead I am a Michelle and Raymond Fan. Yeah these two are a rubbish couple. I can't stand them. They don't match at all. Don't understand why people go crazy over these two?

I don't find why people are obsessed about this pair. In my opinion Charmaine Sheh is tooo old or perhaps tooooo mature for Raymond. Raymond Lam makes a better couple with Michelle

they not only diss on females with raymond. they even dissed on benny chan who used to be paired with Charmaine. They got me riled up because of benny's dissing and i thought they would stop. seems like they can't stop it.

I have seen it. It irks me that some of them would do that, making fun of other actresses around Raymond and other actors beside Charmaine. They made fun of Kevin when he was just walking Charmaine down the carpet. O_O It's even more ridiculous how one of the fans got pissed over the brief Fungyi hand holding moment, condemning it as just a handshake. T_T

I don't even think Raymond even harbors any feelings for Charmaine. If he were, he wouldn't act bored and uncomfortable around her like some of you were saying. I just hope TVB stop putting them together in series.

I don’t fancy this couple at all even though I like raymond. To me, I wont esp rent or buy a series with them as leads. But if it is aired on television, I wont mind watching. Honestly, charmaine looks older than ray thus I see a older sis and younger bro rather than a couple. as a fungyi fan, i think it is not approriate for me to comment much but i tot those captions and bashing was silly too. I am not a fan of linda but i dont like to see those captions criticising her and putting her down like some desperate freak.

hey fox! yea it's true that Ray is paired with 'older' woman...Bosco as well since I think he's younger. Well...same year ppl like Myolie, Tavia, Kate, Bernice etc... it's ok...I mean...it's not really that big a deal. I think what people means is 'cross generation'...like you feel Charmaine's age and status is in another generation category whereas Shirley/Sharon/etc...are from the same 'group'. Maybe it's the fact that Charmaine was promoted to lead for a while before the new group emerged you get the feeling she's 'older' more.

Anyhow...cross generation or not...I don't really like Charmaine because I think she's over-rated and her acting is going downhill more than up for me. Since WAB. So yea...next to my idol obviously I am not too keen. etc...etc...

I don't like Charray either. Don't get me wrong, I like Charmaine, but I just don't like this pairing. Also, I think the main reason why there are so much Charray fans is because most of them are Charmaine fans. So, that makes Charray fans so much.

I think Charmaine looks better with ChiLam and Raymond with Leila/Tavia. Charmaine and Raymond looks more like brothers and sisters to me.

One thing that I don't like about them is that Charmaine looks so much older than him! And also he has this constipated expression on his face everytime he's with her, it just shows how uncomfortable he's with her. I can't comment on their chemistry on-screen because I haven't watch any shows that have their pairings. If CharRay fans are really doing what you guys are talking about, then it's disgusting!

I use to think that Charmaine and Juilan was a good couple but Charmaine is aging so quickly and her image has changed alot. I've seen Juilian recently and he has still stayed the same. Like Raymond's age. Charmaine looks older than Julian now!

Nah, this couple is not for me. I like Raymond as an individual and Charmaine's acting is good throughout the years, but she looks old compare to raymond.

We can tell by the looks in DOL, she looks old and mature.

Personally, I don't really like Raymond being paired up with girls that are older than him. It just looks weird, I prefer Raymond with Leila, Tavia and them, even Linda, because it suits him more. sorry to say it did happen. i saw some of these posts. some charray fans came up with some captions of say photos of linda with ray and some were criticising linda. and some of the victims were fala, linda, kelvin etc... one of the example is the photo with fala, linda and ray walking the red carpet during the tVB anniversary.
one caption was like, Ray: Stop grabbing on to me, linda. i want to look for my charmaine.
There were more and some were harsher. i know you are a new charray fan so maybe you are not aware of such things.

we are talking some charray fans in particular. we are not definitely not generalising because some of the charray fans are not like that. no offense to any charray fans but that is the truth.

And I'm sorry to say that i've seen OTHER people make captions like that as well including stuff with Charmaine...others,etc. It's not just charray fans in particular. Ray does not look very natural with Char.
Char looks quite old and less pretty to me, she doesn't seem to suit Ray.

i had NEVER thought tht they wil make a good pair. put the age matter aside, they also do not match each other. i dont know how to express it out, but it just seem to have boundaries between them that make them not have chemistry together. just dont know why.

I'm watching LWOLAP and CharRay's storyline is so boring! And I get the shivers when Charmaine goes "Fung Dai Gor". I just want to skip all the CharRay's scenes to Bosco/Sharon and Power/Mimi scenes!

I think Charmaine and Raymond makes a pretty good couple together. I'm a Charray fan and I love them in "Lethal Weapons of Love and Passion" and also in "The Drive of LIfe." They make a very good couple together.

ofc, they are not and will never be toghether, Charmaine can go and find som who have same age at her and moree. but raymond ... is younger then her so i dont think they will not be together someday. doesnt know why tvb put them togheter in drive of life, and Lethal Weapons of Love and Passion, gosh! is the worst series i have seen all of my life.
