Eventhough Sunmi isn't my fave in WG, but I admit that she has unique voice and she never crack when singing live

^ Me too! I recently saw the first 2 episodes to Season one again of their WonderGirls show thing and whenever they went out, her and So Hee would be walking together and Hyun A and Sun Ye would be walking together!

Sun Mi's background:
As for Sun Mi, her childhood is about the same as Sun Ye. Most will have visuals of Sun Mi growing up in a well-to-do family because she always gives the impression that she has a great childhood. But it’s not like that actually. Sun Mi’s father passed away when she was little and she lived in the rural area with her mum and elder brother. As life was difficult, she often had to pass on the chance to come to Seoul for study. This meant that Sun Mi grew up in a single-parent family but her character is so outgoing, bubbly and always optimistic. But you do feel that there is some hurt from Sun Mi which you won’t really feel it most of the times which shows how good she is at hiding it. This probably explains her weird 4-dimensional behavior and always seeking attention.

I read that a recently and when I first read it I was about to cry. I find it cute though, she's always trying to get attention. And once in an interview or something Sun Mi said she plays around with Ye Eun but then she had a go at her for hitting her and Sun Mi sorta got annoyed or upset because when So Hee does the same thing Ye Eun just laughed it off because she finds her cute. aaww...But Ye Eun said it was because her and Sun Mi are both people who like to joke and play around.

OMG that's so sad, i recently heard that Sun Mi wa treated unfairly because So Hee was getting all the attention and she was left with nothing but she is so cute =P

Sun Mi suffering from Hyperventilation Syndrome




Sun Mi of the Wonder Girls fainted during an interview yesterday bought upon by breathing difficulties (dyspnea) stemming from hyperventilation syndrome.

While doing an interview with Joy News yesterday morning, Sun Mi experienced difficulties in breathing and fainted suddenly as a result (it must have been a shock for many). Sun Mi’s fainting got everyone flustered but it’s understood that even before her debut, there was question marks over her health.

In a phone interview yesterday afternoon with someone related to the Wonder Girls, “During Sun Mi trainee period before her debut, her health condition wasn’t that good. She will occasionally feel discomfort. According to what I know, the Wonder Girls has no other special events going on and only concentrating on TV performances. The workload is actually very low. So it’s very worrying to see Sun Mi suffering from breathing difficulties under this situation.”

JYP Entertainment with regards to Sun Mi’s condition expressed, “Sun Mi condition is gradually stabilizing and now resting at home. But we are asking for a detailed examination of her health to see if there are any special problems. It’s hard to decide whether she can continue with the promotional activities now. First, we must carefully observe Sun Mi’s health condition.”

Hyperventilation syndrome (HVS) is an episodic disorder that often presents with chest pain and a tingling sensation of the fingertips (paresthesia) and around the mouth, as well as deep and labored breathing (causing hyperventilation), although chronic but subtle hyperventilation can cause these symptoms too. Most cases are caused by anxiety or stress.

hello, i'm a newbie in this thread..
i just got to know wonder girls.. and.. sun mi and so hee's my fav member.. so i decided to post here.. hee hee.. i came here to know updates about wonder girls, most importantly, sun mi.. i hope someone replies this so that i can contribute more to this thread.. =D

KaiQi: Me again! Lol. No particularly Sunmi updates. But Sunmi is one of my favourites too! ^^ She's weird but it's funny thats why I like her.

Gemma: hey gemma! great to see you here to! lol.. no updates about sun mi? huh? she's weird?? maybe you can tell me how's her character and personality like.. i wish to know wonder gals, especially sun mi and so hee's character more.. i hope that they are more of out-going and funny types.. hee hee.. i personally like sun mi's voice the best in wonder gals.. i fell in love totally with her voice in so hot.. she gave me a nice impression, thats why i like her so much. xD

KaiQi: Not really. It's getting a bit more quiet now, because Wonder Girls are going to stop functions and promotions after this month to work on their 2nd album. I cant wait!! xD Yeah, Sunmi is weird. She does these funny face expressions and she's just weird. Lol. Yeah, Sunmi is really stable singing live. And I've only seen her kinda mess up twice. Once was when they won no. 1 with Tell Me and she coughed and then another time in So Hot in rehearsal so that didnt matter but she's a great singer and has a kinda husky voice.

Gemma: wow.. you made me think that sun mi is a totally cute gal! lol. wow.. i can't wait for their album too.. hee hee.. i wanna hear sun mi sing.. she does has a great voice.. i see her perform snsd's kissing you was not bad.. wow.. she's so cute.. cough during live perfs? hahas!!! i guess she isn't feeling realli well. thats why she had husky voice. but sun mi's voice is great. i was so happy that she got to start first in tell me and so hot.. i noticed her so much cause she was the first singer in both songs.. she gave me the best impression actually. but i just dunno why, i like her as much as so hee.. hee hee.

KaiQi Yeah, she is cute! Lol. Yeah, she has some problems, because she coughs a lot, like last time she had to rest for like 2 days before performing again with Wonder Girls. She suffers from Hyperventilation Syndrome, the article above explains it, I cant really remember now. Lol. But even though she does a great job at singing. Plus it must be so scary to perform first too!

KaiQi: I'm not actually sure. She does sing a lot but I always though Sunye would be lead vocal because she's the leader but I think Sunmi has more parts in songs that they've released so far.

KaiQi: Yeah, Yeeun did sing it. But she sang it well. I think Sunmi just sings normal parts and deep parts because her voice is kinda deep like in Irony and then Sunye and Yeeun sing the high parts. Yeah same. She looks pretty with long hair and cute with ponytails. I think having her hair up makes her look older.

Gemma: ye eun did a good job. but i think that her voice was abit shakier compared to the original taeyeon's one. lol. sun mi sings normal parts but her voice is nice though. seriously, i cannot realli differentiate sun mi's voice in various songs. listening to her in kissing you and tell me is abit deep.. but in so hot it was kinda bubbly and more of cute type. especially her "Nan Neomu Yeppeoyo".. that one was just extremely cute! haha.. i can't stand that hand action. it was perfectly cute. haha. sun mi looks prettier when she is cute. like your icon.. she looks perfectly cute. i supposed that she's singing so hot rite? KaiQi♥이특 - Yes, Sun Mi is my favorite Wondergirls! She was the first person that caught my eyes in the 'Tell Me' video even though So Hee was the main in that. I grew to love her even more after seeing her in interviews with her weird 4D behavior! LOL so cute and I love her facial expressions. Sun Mi can make really funny expressions. And not to mention, I love how she's the 'Save Earth' girl. Yes, Sun Mi is cute when she acts cute but she's cute even if she doesn't. Lol, yeah, just whatever site who doesnt delete our favourite resourcers would be good! It's because of the SBS channel, they dont want their vids uploaded onto youtube so whoever does their account gets deleted, but I think maybe only if you include it in your tags.
