I just finished watching episode 16 of this series yesterday and I have this question in my mind. I was just wondering do you guys think Tavia would be in a coma right now if Christine had called the police earlier. I mean when Christine first found out she had hit someone, she went out of her car to see who it was, she saw Tavia and Tavia's eyes were still flittering. She didn't call the police right away and left. Then Alex came along and saw Tavia lying there, he called the police. The question is, we don't actually know how long it took Alex to find Tavia lying there, so we actually don't know how long Tavia was lying there. If Christine called the police right after she saw that she had hit Tavia, maybe Tavia wouldn't be in a coma right now.
So what you guys think? So do you guys think Tavia would be in a coma if Christine had called the police right after she had hit Tavia?
And do you also think that Christine is taking care of Tavia in the hospital so much because she actually cared about Tavia or is it because of guilt?
I think she actually cares about Tavia a lot even though she knew what happened between Tavia and Alex, but in another way, she might also be taking care of Tavia because of guilt too.
What about you guys? How do you guys feel towards this?

I think it has to depend on how seriously Tavia was hurt in that accident in the first place......! Obviously in cases like this, the sooner to get into hospital the better!
It might turn out better if Christine called the ambulance as soon as the accident happened.
But it seemed to me that it wasn't too long before Alex came into the rescue because there's still nobody gathered around who tried to call the police.
Actually Tavia & Christine were good friends. Think Christine could take good care of Tavia in the hospital even if she wasn't the one who knocked her over. But she had that sense of guilt in her too which made her more obliged to take care of Tavia.
I think this plot is important to serve as a turning point which Christine really makes up her mind to get away from that love triangle.....!

hahah, naturally it'd be best if Tavia could be sent to the hospital for treatment as soon as possible, but as annie ^ said, it seemed like Alex reached the scene pretty quickly too.
Christine & Tavia were good friends all along, & I think Christine actually cares for her although she's very upset that Tavia's the third party in her relationship. I think Christine would have cared for Tavia regardless of who knocked her down, just that her guilt made her go the extra mile to take more care of Tavia...
& if not for this accident, Christine would not have decided to withdraw from the triangle, & then the story would have to drag & drag on. :/

^ Everyone above has already answered for me.. but my question is..
Why did Christine flee the scene in the first place?
Was her intention to let Tavia die because she wanted revenge?
Or was she simply afraid that no one would believe it was an accident?

I think Christine left the scene in the first place because she was so confused & scared of what had actually happened, she just didn't know what to do, it's obvious that she was in such a state of confusion & fear that she lost her sense of judgement but just try to get away from the reality............Actually before the accident, she was very unstable, upset & crying while she was driving & she didn't even notice that there's someone there on the street.
I don't think she wanted to revenge on Tavia & let her die......she was just so frightened & confused at that stage that she chose to escape at that moment............but later she still didn't tell the truth because I think there's a possibilty that she was afraid to tell just in case people won't believe her story & thought that she intended to kill Tavia. In order to prevent further complications & misunderstandings she just chose to keep quiet as if nothing had happened. Even if she told them & Issac & the others believed her story, nothing could really help since Tavia was already in a coma so practically it's much better for her to take good care of Tavia, hoping that she would recover quickly. So indirectly Christine was also a poor victim in this incident since she had to bear the guilt for the rest of her life!

hahah, I think she did not know what to do, so she kinda fled from the place in fright. & maybe because she didn't thought Tavia wasn't THAT injured.
perhaps she was also afraid that people would not believe that it was an accident...'cos she does have a 'motive' for wanting Tavia dead...

Like some of the others already mentioned above, i think Tavia would have been in coma in any case. Coz she did hit her head on the ground which is very dangerous, not to mention that she didnt get treatment right away. Hm.. about leaving the scene after the accident, it was an accident that she hit Tavia but her selfish side took over which made her run away coz of revenge, thats what i think. And about Christine taking care of Tavia. I think its both guilt and that she actually cared about her, and i think she realized that Alex loved Tavia more.

I think the accident made her see things in a different perspective. She was driving at a fast speed at night, and just as a person was crossing the street, she immediately stepped on the brake with full force until the car swerved in 180 degrees angle, and the body of the car slammed into her body. If I were in Christine's position, I think I couldn't bring myself to tell anyone about the incident. I would just flee, but there is a sense of guilt that wants to repent the sin. I think Christine was in shocked to find out that she ran over her good friend and did not know what to do. I see her hands shaking and sweaty palms. Chrisitine did not call the cops, but ran away, shows some guilt. I think Tavia would be in coma even if the cops came early. To me, it looks like a serious hit that may take some time to recover.

You are bringing up some interesting questions. You hit a good point stating we, the audience, do not know how much time have passed since Christine hitting Tavia to Alex finding her lying on the floor...with that stated, I DO believe that Tavia would not be in coma if Christine would have taken her to the hospital after hitting her.
Christine was definitely taking care of Tavia because of guilt, that is also partially the reason why Christine is giving up on Alex if you ask me. Dont get me wrong though, I do feel that Christine cares for Tavia on a friendship level as well but I think she feels guilty for hitting her and wants to do something for her previous actions.

well.. i think that tavia might not be in a coma if she was brought to the hospital immediately.. but as car accidents are kinda unpredictable.. it might not help... but.. considering the fact that she woke up in the end.. i say that it would probably help.. if it was really super serious.. she wouldnt had waken up in the end right? i reckon that being in a coma helped tavia to regained her perspective of what she really wants in life.. anws.. as for the guilt.. i definitely think tat christine was guilty.. but yet.. she's also taking care of tav cuz she was her good friend.. but guilt is the main reason why she is taking care of tavia so well.. say.. she would take care of tavia if she wasn't the one who hit her... but it wouldn't be till this extent cuz she ain't guilty..

For me, is depend how serious and how fast that Tavia send to hospital. The percentage is low if Christine send her immediately to hospital or call the ambulance immediately but in this case Christine left her and just watching her lying on the road and this definitely Tavia will be in Coma.
After Christine knowing Tavia was sent to hospital and in coma, She takes care of her and for my opinion, I think because Christine felt guilty and want to do somethings to help and because Christine still treat Tavia as a good friend and what Christine did to Tavia is just because she was too emotional and not mean to hurt Tavia.
