i previously saw myolie in " to grow with love" of which i found as a ok series. Yes she did put on a little weight for her role.. but it was nothing that amazing in order to deserve an award.

However in WOIL2, i can see her put her heart and mind 100% in her role in WOIL2. She went from a no-body who knows nothing about fashion nor about magazines. Yet she developed steadily a role as being a chief editor of "Elva" and became interested in fashion. Aside from the improvements in her working life as seen / protrayed in WOIL, she handled her personal life issues with Bosco very professionally during their "separation".. she put her heart into this role i think especially when i saw moylie shed tears in chapter 19 - pleading with kyle that she wanted to put her career first and that kyle should let go of her. There was a lot of emotional scenes of myolie crying i cant remember where..

What do you think? Does she deserve an award?

I don't know if she will be nominated with this character to win an award... her character here is quite adorable, but Tin Lik (wars of-in laws I) was far more better.

We also have Myolie in Tai Chi drama, I hope her acting there will be outstanding as it's a serious drama.

I know Myolie has put 100% concentration on it, in some interviews she said that she was worried and had pressure of doing it good. She had played a lot of comedies she is getting tired of this..

She should have gotton the award in 'grow with love' that year but lost to Charmaine.
It was really a big scacrifice and her acting there was good too but some said that it doesn't warrant an award just because she put on weight for the show.

It's pretty early to suggest if she deserves an in WOIL2 cause you have so many other series to go before the 41st annv and not forgetting some highly anticipated series like: Gems of Life,
HOGII, Seventh Day etc and not to forget the Fadans have veterans to look out for especially after last year's awards. It seems TVB give awards to those in highly rated series, which is quite understandable.

The chance is very little Myolie will win something, those highly anticipated series including Forensic Heroes 2 will have a higher chance.

Of course she deserves it!

She puts her heart and soul into this role. You can CLEARLY see from her portrayal. I agree some of her parts are exaggerated/overacted, especially with the funny scenes. Except this girl can cry. Like, REALLY cry. She makes me want to cry with her, not laugh while she tries to force tears to come out of her eyes.

WOIL1's character itself was better, but I think Myolie did a better job with WOIL2 acting wise. Her character wasn't as strong, but she did as best as she could with her character.

If she doesn't get an award for this, I'm suing TVB (I don't mind if it's collaborative award or whatever), as long as she gets an AWARD. Otherwise I'm screaming "rigged!" She deserves it!! I don't think any series in 2008 will beat out WOIL2 as my fave series.

However, 2007 is still a long year....We have to see....

i really think myolie deserves an award for this series. She was superb in both her comedic & emotional scenes. i thought she carried her character very very well. I hope she'll at least be nominated this year. she was great!
