We all know about "A Step Into the Past". Louis Koo, Jessica Hsuen, Sonija Kwok, and Raymond Lam was in it. And it was funny too. I've been watching it these days, and it doesn't feel old to me, it feels fresh and funny. Well I want Louis to come back to TVB(which he might), so they might also, maybe not, make Step Into the Past 2. I think it is ok, i want to know wat new things can they make out of it. [/font]

I think it's very hard to film ASITP II because Louis Koo is no more in TVB and Jessica is leaving also. Heard that he still owes TVB one series but I rather they make DIFV since Jessica can have Louis all to herself instead of sharing him with Sonija. And ASITP is pretty much completed. Unless they completely think of a new storyline.

i dont thnk they should make a new one...sometimes things are better left the way they are...i jsut dont see how they can continue makin it cool nd funny with the ending it left

I don't think they should make a second part to Step into the Past because Louis stayed in the past at the end of the series. If TVB does decide to make a part 2 then they would have a use a different cast. Even though TVB has been doing that to a lot of the series, not all of these are well accepted by the audience like Survivor's Law 2. This actually shows people TVB cannot come up with new scripts and storylines.

I think they could make a sequel from the first one cause at the ending, the eldest son of Louis wanted to change his name and i think that name he wanted was related to some emperor i think. Louis was like shock and saying; can it something else and the kid was still insisting on the name. lol.. yeah maybe they can follow up with the son and make a story out of this ...

I don't think Louis will come back but I really like him in this series.

Hell no.

You wouldn't wanna risk tarnishing the aura of the orginal, esp given that the chance of Louis coming back to film for TVB is next to zero. Besides, the story had an exceptional, definite ending (unlike many TVB series nowadays.) I really don't feel the need for a sequel at all.

I actually oppose the idea for the sequels for the titles you mentioned. In particular, Heart of Greed- I think the series was overrated. It was good but it doesn't have the "re-watchability" factor. TVB are just trying to milk the success of the original cast. In essence, it is not a TRUE sequel, it is a completely different plot, albeit employing very similar themes *yawn*

This is stupid. If there's a sequel then there's going to be a new cast. It wouldn't be a step into the past if it doesn't talk about traveling back into the past now, would it?

The first one ended well, I don't think a second one will work.

I loved this series but if they do a part 2 i dont think it would work esp if its a new story as it would lose its originality

The first one was really good, but I'm not sure if they're going to make a second one. First of all, the first one was aired quite a long time ago, and if they wanted to make a second one, I think they would have already done so.
Also, I don't think Louis Koo does any shows for TVB anymore. I don't even think he acts anymore.
If they did make a second one, I would definetly watch it, but I'm not sure they will make one.

I think if they make a second one, it would b either a different story line. Cuz in the first one they ended with him in the past and have son already. Louis Koo left TVB? I didn't no that. All I no is that he was film a movie with Jackie Chan and heard something that he is learning Kung Fu from him. Also Jessica is leaving TVB too? She is filmin Just Love II now and goin to film Pillow Case of Mystery II.

NO, NEVER!! I totally disliked Sonija after the show. Although I quite liked the series, I was really mad at the ending...how can tvb do that? It's either Jessica or Sonija for Louis, not both!! I can't accept that. Although it's common thing for a man to have more than 1 wife back then, it's still....unacceptable since Louis came from the modern days and so shouldn't have that mind set. So, if there's a part 2, I really wonder how they're carry on the plot..so, NO!

i don't think there should be b/c season I already ended the story pretty well. louis ended up with both jessica and sonja, which is fine since n reasonable considering how both of them really love louis. kinda like the drama when bobby ends up with both Lip Fung and Tong Si in witness to a Prosecution. in the ending, the narrator even told us who louis's son grew up to be.

if they make a sequel what are they gonna take about? they shouldn't make a step into the past 2 unless they change the cast and story
gogogo2000
mmmm a tough choice if they did make a 2nd one it be hard to make a good story line out of it as he met his task of making them king hehe but still would luv to see one, and bring back mr koo from the film world ! infatuated.gif

no there shouldn't be. there are a little too manyu sequels. Everything is a sequel. IT was a classic story it was done welll the first time no need to screw it up
bantinhcamuadong
no i don't think it need a part 2 since they ended it well
ForeverEnd
I think there should be another a step into the past but needs a new storyline because if you copy the first one it wouldnt be that great since we already know what happen.
Crisp N
part 2 with new stars
and now
a step into the present
or story with their ancestors
who moved into past before them.

Wasnt this based on a novel? So a sequel would be just stupid move by TVB.
