If the best partnership is for the cast in WOIL, it would be, Liza n Myolie or Liza, Myolie and Bosco.

What????? this is nonsense . it's not even TVB anni and the results are out? i think Liza deserves more than 我最喜愛的實力非凡女藝員........... she's never been on the list all these years, and i don't think she should be in it this year. i agree with what Kals said about her being too good to be in this category.

liza was bad in that series...i mean, she can't portray those annoying roles...she's more of the serious type of person..i'm sorry, but a lot of people in hk were saying how she was going to win that role because she needs "face"...but honestly, kenix did a much better job in rdov!

Liza portrayed her character very well in WOIL. I don't think that KK derserve it more than Liza.

everyone has their own opinion. hope TVB is fair while giving the awards though. based it on the true number of votes.. hmm... if that's the case, talent and popularity don't matter. it all comes to politics. since Liza has already won it, maybe they won't be giving it to her. and i would consider that darn darn darn unfair.

TVB fair?understatement really...the past 2 yrs are a perfect example...those who deserve the award get it and those who dont do...its just the way TVB is....
btw, i dont think the public get to vote for the "best male/female" categories....thats TVB's decision ...so in that case it should be based on who is the better of the "top 5"...who got more recognition for their roles...who got the viewers talkin about the series more....blah blah blah...
in my opinion i still feel that Liza is more popular...just look at all the promotions and radio interviews, etc etc...even the promo clips were memorable, even though they were really stupid...
besides...how would any "reporter" know the results a month in advance of the anniversary....i just think its dumb...i wouldnt trust it...although the only one i would agree on is that Bosco gets the Most Improved actor award...
but for Liza to be in the "extraordinary" category i totally disagree

This is a rather fair statement to me.

In terms of talent, performance and ratings, Liza obviously is a more suitable candidate. (I have heard too many ppl exclaiming.. wow, I can't imagine Liza can do comedy that well, what a surprise)




As this year the TVB wanted to make the award more appropriate, (changing the name of title and all that,) I hope they could give it to Liza. Kenix can wait for next year. She is still young, right?

i don't think she had any plastic surgery. because i've seen her series since she was 20+. she looks the same to me. also, she believes in a healthy body, and i do think that she feels that plastic surgery will somehow destroy one's body. i'm happy that she didn't go for injections or anything artificial, like the common botox or breast enlargement. of course she's aged compared to her 1970-80s dramas, and u do see some wrinkles here and there, but then again, who wouldn't have wrinkles at her age (for ur info, it's 58)?

The annual TVB Anniversary awards is just around the corner and yesterday, over 100 artists attended the special lighting ceremony for this year's anniversary. At this year's award, there will be a total of fourteen awards, in which the "Best Actor" and "Best Actress" award causes the most controversy.

In the front row, standing on Sir's both side is veterans Liza Wang and Dodo Cheng. Charmaine Sheh, followed by Gigi Lai, Sonija Kwok, Myolie Wu, and Yoyo Mung stood on Dodo's side and Nancy Sit, Melissa Ng, Kenix Kwok, Tavia Yeung, and Bernice Liu were on the left. Top male artists were on the second row including Moses Chan, Ron Ng, Raymond Lam, Bowie Lam, Steven Ma, Bobby Au Yeung, and Kevin Cheng. As for Sheren Tang, she was standing in the third row, instead of the first row like last year. When asked if Sheren feels that she had "lost power," Sheren replies saying that she does not mind and never analyzes which position. TVB executives explained that the row arrangements for the artists are based on the artists' popularity, period of time with TVB, and height.

The 'Jade Solid Singers Celebrations' (not sure of exact name) will be holding its ceremony tomorrow night. Everyone was there to reherse for a final time, but Stephy Tang, Bobo Chan, and Fiona Sit were too busy talking and danced their parts wrong, causing them to feel embarassed.

On the other hand, Yumiko Cheng, Niki Chow, and Emme Wong were really focused and serious. Yumiko also needs to do 'table dancing' with Emme and Joey Yung so she is really nervous, "Because there's alot of steps to remember and people will compare me and Emme, I have alot of pressure ... before I was afraid to talk to her, but after talking to her now, I feel much better!"

Niki and Ella Koon this year both have an oppurtunity to recieve the 'Best Female Lead' award, but both of them don't have too much of a hope on getting it. Niki smiled and said, "I'm already happy that I'm nominated. I'm rooting for Liza Wang. When I was filming for The Gentle Crackdown, Liza was in the next 'room' filming for War of In Laws. One time we were in the resting room and suddenly I see Liza by my side! I was afraid that I'll wake her up, so I secretly left."

hahaha........... poor Liza. she must be so sleepy. but if i were Niki, i'd sit there and stare at the sleeping beauty. ' ahahaha........ LOL

Kenix Kwok joined Jerry Lam and Cha Siu Yan at the TVB broadcasting studios yesterday to announce the leading artists in each award category. Based on the online voting, it seems that Moses Chan and Kenix Kwok are leading with the highest chance for winning the "Best Actor" and "Best Actress" award respectively. For the "Most Improved Actor," Bosco Wong is leading with the votes. As for "Most Improved Actress," Niki Chow is in the lead. Reports suggested that Liza Wang will most likely take home the "Most Extraordinary Actress" award.

Kenix has many drama out this years, and Liza's only one, but it's not this that's counted. It's the performance of each one. Liza's perforfance's much better. And it's what we judge.
