To me, I think Takako is one of the prettiest female actress in Japan. I think she is just very special and pretty...but it seems like she is not very popular in Japan now compared to the time when she was with Speed...

She attended a famous drama and performer's school on Okinawa. Four girls from that school created the rock group "Speed" in 1997. This group was an instant hit, selling 2.3 million copies of their very first album. When Speed kicked off, Takako was only 14 years old.Takako in Speed was just a back-ground singer and dancer. When the group broke up in March of 2000, Takako was not expected to excel. But she surprised everyone by recording a solo album that produced two super hits. One of them, "My First Love," is the back-ground track for this web page.

SPEED was form in 1995 & debuted on 1996 August 5.

Their first album sold around 1.9 million copies in Japan alone.

When SPEED debuted, Takako was 13 years old.

By the way, SPEED is back permanently as of 2008 August!

They will be releasing their 2nd single after reunion "S.P.D." on 2009 May 27.
