Steven Ma and Linda reunite three years after their popular pairing in Virtues of Harmony II. Her character - “Sze Ka Ka” - starts out as a bad and vulgar girl who gradually undergoes a transformation (thanks to Steven’s character) and becomes good. This series reflects that the reason some youngsters turn bad is because society has given up on them and it hopes to send the optimistic message that with attention and care, those individuals can turn good and return to the right path. I actually really like Linda’s images and her transformation from bad to good looks to be interesting. I’m very happy that 2008 will bring a new side to Linda and help her develop versatility in her acting.

It’s rumored that Steven and Linda are singing the themesong for this series together. I really hope it’s true! They are compatible and very cute together. I’m confident that they can reignite [with this series] the sparks that made “Ah San” and “Ah Lam” so lovable. Steven praised Linda and said that he was pleasantly surprised by how greatly improved Linda was [now] when he worked with her again this time. He also wrote on his blog that he thinks that she [and Fala Chen] has a bright future ahead of her and has lots of potential.

Aside from Linda’s character, the series will also focus on running, so you can expect TVB to preach about how life is like a marathon. The producer for this series is a little sketchy because his series can be duds (i.e. Life Art) or boring albeit intriguing (i.e. Land of Wealth), but with his recently rather well-received, refreshing, and entertaining Steps, I have hopes for this series.

Synopsis

Never Torn Apart in Sorrow
Never Gave Up in Hope

SZE KA-KA (Linda Chung) becomes disobedient since her mother passed away at her young age. KA desperately searches for her mother’s cremains which she has no idea why they have gone missing. Eventually, she is able to find the cremains in SHING KAM-SHEK’s (Kent Cheng) stone factory. KA’s love to her mother impresses SHEK and his disciple SHING YAT-ON (Steven Ma) a lot. ON helps KA to solve many of her problems, he also finds her a job in his sister SHING MEI-SUM’s (Fala Chen) company. KA appreciates all the things ON has done for her. Clearly, she adores him, but she does not confess her love to him because of her self-contempt. The love chance comes by the time when SHEK is staying in the hospital. KA replaces SHEK as the Marathon trainer to ON.

SUM is a money-oriented woman who wants to marry a rich man. She involves herself in a threesome with SHEK’s son KAM WING-LOI (Raymond Cho) and her boss TUNG KA-CHEUNG (Cheng Tse Sing). She gets pregnant accidentally. Later, she has an abortion because she does not want the baby to ruin her chance to getting rich. The family is bitterly disappointed in SUM. SUM does not repent what she has done. SUM injures KA whom is pregnant by drunk driving. ON loses his battle for life since then.

Yesterday, Fala Chen and Linda Chung appeared at a promotion event for their new TVB series 'A Journey Called Life'. The artistes and audience played many games, such as guessing each others height, and shoe size. At one point, they even thought about guessing Fala’s three measurements. Fala openly expressed that she didn’t mind because she has participated in the pageant before, so her three measurements are no secret. In the past two years her figure hasn’t really changed, so she was sure that her measurements are still very similar. In the series, there is a scene where Fala and Raymond Cho bathes together. This is Fala’s most daring scene ever since she entered the industry, and she finds it very memorable.

In 'A Journey Called Life', Linda’s most memorable scene is the one where she gave birth. At the event, the MC took out a baby doll and told her to demonstrate this scene once again to the audience. She had no choice but to do so. Afterwards she expressed that she didn’t know about this arrangement beforehand, but did not feel awkward. She recalls that when she filmed this scene, she yelled and cried for three hours before it was completed. Right after this scene was taken, she made a phone call to her mom to thank her, expressing that giving birth is a very difficult task.

She talks about the scene and also commented on her new series 'A Journey Called Life' which will be airing Monday. She commented she will having a baby in this series and told the viewers to listen out for the songs.... Halfway thru, Moses was in the background distracting her.. lol.. Go Mo!!

Moses will be called 'Ah Kah' in HOG2, very unusual name I must say ... WOnder how the scriptwriters got this name for him??
