wahh... hana kimi will be prodcast in the philippines.... in channel2(abs-cbn). hana kimi is one of my favorite chinovela.... and for me it will be next to meteor garden... and i'm a little bit excited to watch it again.... but i also sad because i will not be able to watch the first episode because our class will resume in march24... the day that hana kimi will prodcast in abs. but i will make sure that after one week... i will able to watch it.... i and really really like the story of it... because the girl from america she flew from taiwan just to see chun's high jump and stay at chun's side.... so that she pretend to be a boy because chun is in the exclusive school for boys so the the girl or i should say ella pretend to be a girl.... and the main character in the story is chun,jiro and danson.... and i really really these guys because they are very handsome and good in acting... that's all that i want to say or to share with guys.... i hope hana kimi will you like it too.....

i hope they show the UNdubbed version. i hate the voices..anyhow, i hope they will get great ratings because after all i am a TOU HAO fan!!!heeheehee

even though this will be shown in abs-cbn ill rather watch the japanese version i find it way better. i dont know why abs-cbn dont dont take japanese series.

Hana Kimi (Japanese Version) will be premiering in Philippine TV. This will be the 2nd version of the popular manga series, the first one being the Taiwan version which will be shown by its rival network. Of course it will be dubbed in Philippines native tongue "Tagalog".

The Japanese version will be shown by abs' rival tv network gma.. Today, March 24th is the premiere.

You can't mistake Ella (Taiwanese version) for a girl...the short hair don't suit her..

hmm...I love the Jap version coz of TOMA and 'em ikemen boys...however...I also love the Taiwanese version..coz fo Ella and Chun..the two versions are the same and at the same time not...

coz the J version is more on the ikemen boys..most specially nakatsu...but the T version is more on the love between Quan and Rui Xi...the J version has made me laugh real hard..it is one hilarious series..however..the T version is also very funny, though, yeah, the J version is funnier, but..the T version has got the love story..it is first and foremost about Quan and Rui Xi...plus XUi Yi...at the end of the day..i think the T version somehow gives me some of that XI FU feeling ....

so yeah..I can't pick one over the other...shoot me..lol

but if we are going to talk about the tagalised version...i'l go for HK T all the way! I ca't believe that ABS-CBN can make the series FUNNIER than it originally is...

I like how it was dubbed...specially ELLA's parts...Joey is funnier in the tagalised version..

dubbed versions are fine with me..in fact...I would love for ABS to release some of the aisanovelas they have aired here...the tagalised versions...just like what they are doing with SW now...coz there is a pinoy touch/sense of humour added to their asianovelas...

and subbed versions are of course wonderful too..but we have to think of other televiewers who don't read that fast...and our parents or should we say moms and aunts who love asianovelas..and would have a hard time following the subs..plus...I have to admit..I rewatched a lot of series..coz when I first watch a series..I am really reading the subs..and sometimes miss some facial expressions/actions by the actors...so there....

Maki is more convincing as a guy than ELLA? did i read that wrong? i completely disagree..it's not that I do't like MAki..i have nothing against her..but without any bias and all..ELLA deffo playd her role real well...Ella's hair here is even MORE boyish than the other boys..she actually let her hair be cut that way to fit the role...for a girl..that is one horendous hair cut.but for her role as RUI XI...the girl pretending to be a boy..if anything..the CUT has made her a boy...when we first saw the HK T ad on abs..my frends who have watched HK J..actually asked me...WHICH ONE IS THE GIRL! lol.

my friends and I love HK J..but we all think ELLA was a great RUI XI...she after all has facial expressions..and all those facial expressions are making the dubbed version all the more funnier..

so that's my take...hoping that ABS would not do any scene cutting on the tagalised version...

I saw the preview of Hana Kimi(TW) at abs a while back..The girl really looks like a boy.

in jap they have shun and toma
and with taiwan they have jiro, danson and wuzun..
ella looks like a guy i agree.. but maybe its because of the hair..
with maki i think its pretty obvious that she's a girl.. but if its based on manga that's acceptable.. cause mizuki's character as a guy is bishounen.. so its kinda okay for her to possess feminine like features..
all in all im rooting for both dramas.. although i hope they just show undubbed version with english or tagalog subbs.. plus i hope they'd stop cutting scenes from the show..

like the taiwan version better... Tversion is funnier because of it's dubbing from abs-cbn, but if detect they are just both fare in entertaining through a funny way...,

I'm sorry. As much as I love FRH and Jiro in HK. I have to say, Mizushima Hiro as the DOrm leader, Nanba Senpai. Ikuta Toma as Nakatsu Shuichi aka Jin Xiu Yi and Oguri Shun as Sano Izumi aka Quan, is so much more better looking.

HK J was such a hit for me and my friends/officemates coz of NAKATSU and the other ikemen boys. but HK T is becoming addictive for them becoz of CHUN. now, they want FRH to come to the PHIL! and I am so with them! hehe. however, when it is a Shun_Maki moment..they resume work. sigh. (sssh. yes, we watch in the office. don't tell. lol.)

but of course, SHUN is a better actor than CHun. but when Chun starts to secretly smile/laugh ...I'm in dreamland..and have to push the rewind button again! lol.

as for the ending of HK T and HK J..at first, I also thought that HK J's ending is better than HK T ...but after I found out what the song DONG LE was actually saying...I have no more complaints about HK T! it was perfect that that was the song they chose to end the series.

I am religiously watching the HK T tagalised version at ABS, even though I have watched the original version quite a few times, the tagalised version can make me laugh at the most unexpected times. the dubbing is just brilliant for me. and I have friends who are actually thinking of not going to work..just so they cn watch the tagalised version. lol.

I agree to the point that the way they used 'Dong le' for the ending was good though. I heart that song. Its just uber sweet. But they could've at least let Xiu Yi find out that RX was a girl. AT LEAST! And have one decent kissing scenes between Quan and RX, instead of those 'drunk kiss' scenes, and the accidental ones. The one at the waterfall didn't count. RX was half unconcious and Quan wanted to feed her water. >.<

yeah, I know that there really is not a decent kiss between Quan and Rui Xi..but you know what? people here prefer their kiss over Sano and Ashiya's...coz they felt that Sano's kiss was not that sweet. however, I don't know if that is how japanese series have their kiss.. oh well...I know that Quan's aint that sweet either..but there deffo are some lip actions going on there..hence my mates find that more blush-inducing than the J version...but I think Sano kissed Ashiya that way...coz that is how they do it in Japan..so can't blame Shun thre..

what is nice about the HK J is that at long last Sano and everyone else know that AShya is a girl and that Sano likes Ashiya..and Ashya knows that too...

on the other hand, the taiwanese version is sweet in the sense that Quan and Rui Xi are still together physically..and they can somehow *express* their love for each other in their own discrete way...as Quan said in the ending...some people may think he and Rui Xi have gone crazy..but that is their love..just like any other love..that is taking its own course..

i think for the T version...I am left to think of how Quan and Rui Xi are living their evry day lives together...and that for me is sweet...again, the song dong le enters the picture....whereas for the J version...i am thnking that Sano and Ashiya are having a long distance relationship...and that is also sweet but I am not one for long distance relationships. and honestly...I dind't care for the love story in the J version...I was just having a grand time drooling over Nakatsu and some of the ikemen boys..

That dubbed part was funny! i really really like Ella's dubber!

come to think of it..i like ariel's, ella's, lee da hae's and YEH's dubbers! hehe..they made the characters much more lovable! kudos to them!

i watched HKJ and i didn't like it. OF COURSE i don't like the dubbing. and sorry no offense but i disagree that the HKJ boys are handsome. then the girl does not look like a boy. She's beautiful right, but she definitely does not look like a boy. and they look very serious[compared to HKT which makes me LMAO )]. i find it boring. tell you these are just my observations.

- i love when nakatsu and sano fights !! it should be a fight between the 3 dorms, cause st. blossoms high made a 90 types game, those who will have the most wins will have a trip to hawaii,(that trip for hawaii was actually directors assistant decision, cause they should be really fighting for the track-and-field opening number) !!

but nakatsu said:

(weird decision, is there only 8 grils from SBH?,,, but the advantage of it was......nakatsu's partner was also poisoned so ahiya replaces it!!) good job director's assistant~

I like both soundtracks actually...becoz the music they used for HK J fits the scene...but I was disappointed when I DLed the album and only peach has got lyrics and the other one.ikenaitayou was it?? however..i am not certain if the msg of those songs fit the series..

i am trying to watch both versions on local TV..I have always described HK J as hilarous...whereas HK T as funny (but not as funny as HK J) and HK T has those kilig moments..however! when I watch on local TV..the HK T version makes me laugh more than the HK J version...come to think of it..I have not found myself enjoying the tagalised version of HK J! aiyo! even Nakatsu's charm is lost on me in the tagalised version...huhu

ABS has always used different songs for their ending credits...and all of them fit the series...(Crazy love not YET assessed) ....and sometimes they also add some other songs that fit the series...an example would be nina's SOMEDAy for ISWAK! that is such a perfect song that they used during the rain scene. the original was great too..Ting Jian ...however..not everyone knows what the original song is saying..so using an english song was a great move for ISWAK..

anyways...I am still waiting for This guy's in love with you pare to be used for nakatsu/xiu yi/wesley. lol.

I guess, the reason why most Jdorama's being shown here didn't get too much attention is because of the time slot. If they could have shown HKJ in a much later time it would have been better. As for promotions, I've seen the promos done by GMA7 and its good cause I bought the DVD of the show way before it was shown coz it got me interested.
I still think that GMA7 needs to improve their dubbing, if not, then just show the subtitled edition. It's much fan to watch.

I think the main reason why Jdoramas haven't been as phenomenal as Taiwanese/Korean version is not because of the timeslot.,it's coz ABSCBN haven't aired a Jdorama yet.,
let's remember, Meteor Garden's timeslot was the same as Hana Kimi J, right now...

anyways, i've seen both version of Hana Kimi and I do like HKJ but I just love HKT. rona is right HKT focuses on Quan and Rui Xi while HKJ shows more of the whole cast. and i guess I'm more inclined with HKT because of Xiu Yi; coz though I love Nakatsu, there is just something absolutely endearing with Xiu Yi. . . Wu Zun's gorgeousness is an undeniable plus factor too. I love Ella as well; her acting is exaggerated but that's make it's so cute.

about the dubs, as expected ABS is doing great with their tagalized version. on the other hand, I absolutely hate GMA for cutting out important scenes in HKJ; the characters' voices all sound wrong too.

rona: i actually find "Crazy Love" perfect for HKT. but the song is driving me crazy. i've got a major LSS & i just can't get the lyrics off my mind as it seems all my patients are singing this.

in my opinion, if a series is going to make an impact..then it is going to make an impact...no matter the time slot....so MG was at 530 and not even 6...see? .it is even at a much earlier time slot but look how popular it became...so yeah...jdoramas not getting that popular must stem from something else....I don't know what the exact reasons are..but yeah..as much as I love HK J, and other JDoramas...it is not yet time for Jdoramas... in our country that is..

but I have friends who do say that let's wait and see what happens WHEN ABS does air Jdoramas..

I KNOW! lol...i also find myself singing the song unconsciously..lol...my friends have the LSS with zen me ban..and it is kinda frustrating for their part since they have a hard time singing chinese songs..but lol...I know ZMB and DL by heart..and it seems that i am going to memorise CRAZY LOVE in no time and with no effort at all...lol...

i think one of the main diff with the dubbings is that, as schizo has also noticed, is that with GMA, the background sounds aren't there anymore..say when a door closes, when someone use a puter, we can't hear the sounds inanimate objects make..hence the feel of the series is erm, lacking verging on eerie...lol... plus..I know that it is great that GMA dubs the series the way they were translated in the subs we get online..however...though ABS does the same..they put additional touches to the dubbing..that endear the series to us...they give the series a bit of Filipino touch ne? listen to ella's character use the phrase 'anak ng comang" and all the other things she says..it's just adorable! there is a personal/Filipino touch to it...

as for jdoramas and T-series being shown during prime time..I don't have high hopes for this one...becoz prime time slots are more of those telenovela types..so let's face it..most Koreanovelas have that feel..more k-series appeal to viewers of all ages...yes..including our mums, lolas, and aunts..whereas the Jdorams and T-series...specially jdoramas..are more for the young ones like us *winks at schizo*

uotsioh, when I downloaded the HK J OST...unfortunately...no matter how big the file was..there was no peach nor ikenaitaiyou in there..well..peach was there...but it was instrumental..and slow...the HK J ost i downloaded was purely instrumental..but it is still a good sountrack...my fave instrumental would be...er...i forgot the title..just the one when Sano high jumps..aiyoh! i can't describe the song..haha.

as for Peach and Ikenaitaiyou...I think i downloaded them by just searchng for them..hehe...

yeah thats right! so hard to download, but i didnt download the whole OST, just ikenai taiyou and peach! i only searched it! haha! i am not minding the site, as long as you have the song im searching, well, i'll just click on it and download it!
