YAY! You're here! I was getting lonely for awhile here.

I can't believe we made it to Part 2!

Give yourself a pat on your back. Hehe!

Awww, I'm SO SO GLAD that you like it!

I was so worried that nobody would like it and nobody would post,

lol. I tried to make the best out of the picture limit, so that's why I came up with the animation banner and the many little Bernice pictures into one. Haha. I hope that's not cheating! LOL

Err, I don't remember how much time I spent on it exactly! Time went by so quickly because I was happily choosing Bernice clips and pics, haha. I think everytime I came here to chat, my Photoshop would be open, and I'd be putting things together there, and compiling things over here. The most tedious one would most definitely be the News part... finding all the Bernice news since the beginning of the year was quite hard since for some reason my search function doesn't work

. But it's all worth it in the end!

A note for everyone though! Some of the news/pics links in the updates section are links to the posts in our old thread. However, since so many early posts got deleted, I'm not sure if any of the links are broken, so just let me know if there are any bad links, ok?

And haha, no worries, I'll find another colour for the Q&A. Wouldn't want you to be blinded because then we'd lose one of our most active posters

Ooh, thankfully I started quite early with compiling and making the pictures.. I think when we were like at Page 40 of the old thread?

Or else I definitely wouldn't have finished if I had started later. Have an assignment due tomorrow, thats what I was doing all day at uni today. And then rushed home to just upload the pictures (I didn't want to upload them too early to the gallery cause I wanted it to be a surprise

) and then just copy&paste my script here.

. My favorite pic is the flas one, it's soooooooo pretty. It's also great that you've posted links to her songs too. Old fans can re listen to them over and over again, while new fans can get introduced to and fall in love her singing talent!!!!!! Bernice would be soooo happy if she ever visits this thread

I wonder whether she'll be keeping this hairstyle for long? I liked her hair wavy like at the CNY Extravaganza but not this curly too, like you guys.

Nah, I don't think she will be going .. there was this comment from Bernice with the Pic (TLRJ) that I posted ^^ and she was saying; she called up the office regarding this ... hope that she will be attending cause she love dancing & that she hope to be like Michael Tse ... winning the contest just like he did last year.

So, I presume from what she said .. she may not be going. Sincerely hope she can make it cause that program was the 'champion' program last year in terms of ratings I guess. It will do Bernice a lot of good in terms of popularity and gaining new fans in the Mainlands..

Oh hey you're from Singapore, right? I actually went to Singapore for "cheng bing".. too bad had no extra time to do anything else.

Aww, that sucks since she really looked like she would have enjoyed the whole experience, plus with her dancing si-fu too who coaches them. And she just glowed when she was talking about it in that recent interview.. I think it was at the Nike event? Yeah, it would be great exposure for her in the Mainland since her Mandarin is not the best, so it's difficult to reach out to them so joining this would be great for her. Oh well, if she doesn't go then perhaps she'll film another new good quality series next, hopefully with some new pairing, or some old favourite pairing *cough*Moses*cough* (Unfortunately he's still busy with HOGII

)

LOL, I just rewatched the Super Trio Supreme and was just thinking how awesome it would be if they got her to go on it since she's probably already finished with TLRJ and has some free time on her hands right now. I really think they really enjoyed having her on the show last time, plus she and Eric and Louis are already well-acquainted... I can totally imagine her playing all the games and having heaps of fun!

Oh and her official site lists her as having events on the 9th and 11th of April, and 1st of May!

evodrift - Really, it's more about Fala? I just chucked the whole thing through a translator, and I thought it was Kent compliment Bernice towards the end which I thought was pretty cool since he's such a veteran.

Hope the dvd your friend gets you is pretty good quality because some of them really suck. Some stop playing halfway, and some of them, the sound doesn't tally with the picture.

Hopefully yours is ok because Love Bond is so awesome. I'd love to watch it again too

Off-topic though, I'm glad to see faces like Derek Kwok and Nancy Wu. Angela and Christine look like they would be great dancers too. Eddie Kwan...eh, not so much. :S Plus, Kenneth and Timmy are so tall - hopefully there'll be no awkwardness when they dance. I wonder why she wasn't picked... would her lack of Mandarin fluency be a disadvantage? But then again Stephen Huynh went last year, didn't he? He doesn't seem like he would be fluent in any Mandarin whatsoever, no offense.

Dissappointed 'Love Bond' is out of stock

... hopefully she can get it next week ... So far the ones my friend got for me seems fine (touch wood) and it depends on yr player too, that's what I found out ... Used to have problem playing on certain brands but now I got this Philips Player and it seems that I could play all these 'problem' disc without fail ... even if the disc were bought from Indonesia & China. I don't expect much cause it's not 'the real thing' if you know what i mean .. lol..

Eddie Kwan is going for the competition

I don't know if he can dance and he's kinda of old, isn't he ... Derek's got martial arts and acrobatic background so I think he'll do okay ..dunno about the dance steps though ... lol

I can see why TVB is sending Derek, Kenneth & Nancy for this competition cause they had TaiChi & D.I.E. just recently ... well, another of TVB's marketing ploys ...

It may all just be politics on why Bernice was not attending or it could just be her schedules are filled up with the functions and endorsements ... hopefully it's the latter..
Btw, how long more before Bernice's contract ends with TVB? Is it another 2 years to go or less?

Basically it's this Thai magazine named Sincere, that has compiled the Top 50 artists from Korea, China, HK and Taiwan who are popular and well-known in Thailand of late as of October 2007 i.e. past 1-2 years and from HK, there are ONLY FIVE on the list! Guess who's one of them?

hey gazed.over, thank you for the pics! boyy she's gorgeous lol, like her dress code there. =D anyway, yeah probably that news is true but i was kinda annoyed that why the miss HK runner up was included instead of bernice? damn. i have no comments on the others for now, BUT why 王君馨?? her dancing sux man~IF I'm not mistaken i saw her performing before during last year's tvb anniversary. i am just so speechless about tvb~~! *disappointed* at least if they don't include bernice, they should have chosen fala chen(although i do not really like her) to participate...her dance is way better than that miss HK gal i guess =(

Holly C - How I wish they would too! Well, actually they do promote her quite okay but not as much compared to Fala and Linda (and all their favourite Ms HKs). But at the end of the day, I feel horrible lamenting her lack of promotion, because I feel she gets promoted more than Tavia which is totally unfair for Tavia, IMO. It's difficult to be a fan of both.

That article makes me feel so bad for Bernice. Even though my chinese sucks, I've picked up on some parts.

Basically its saying that even though Bernice is the highest earning artist and is a great spokesperson for so many brands, because of the fact her contract is going to expire, she's going to be frozen.

They were saying how she could have won all these awards because she was on par with Charmaine and Myolie, but awards went to Linda, Kate and Fala because they have longer contracts than Bernice.

Also even though Bernice was signed up to be on the dancing show, and everyone including herself thought she had the highest chance of winning, they withdrew her from the show almost as the last minute to be replaced by someone else.

After filming the latest series, Bernice will most likely have no more series to film, and will likely only appear at functions.

I could be wrong with my translations though, since I can only read the simple words.

I find that its ridiculous that they took Bernice out of the dancing show when it was totally made for her. Although I love Myolie, she's not very good at dancing, and she is already quite well known to the mainland audience. And have you guys ever seen Kenneth dance? I remember watching something about the olympics with him, ron, raymond, kevin, and bosco, and Kenneth had to look at others cuz he kept forgetting what moves comes next. It was pretty funny.

But that is my rant, even though I don't want Bernice to be frozen, if she's not getting the recognition she deserves, why stay there and be unhappy. Maybe she'll come back to Vancouver to continue her studies at UBC, where I might see her in person.

I started liking Bernice ever since Virtues of Harmony I and I have been reading about her news ever since now. Bernice is so beautiful. She's an excellent actress and singer and I can't wait to watch her release her own albums, watch more of her series and listen to more of her songs.

Well lollipop5738, I remember way back that Bernice mentioned that they let her suspend her BA for 10 yrs, so she could continue her studies at UBC later, if she wanted to (which is where I'm studying). So if she were to continue studying Business (I think that was what she was studying) at UBC, I would have a greater chance of seeing her in person than if she stayed in HK.

Hopefully all this stuff about being frozen is just rumours, I don't want Bernice to leave TVB.

WEll guys, I read from other news article tht Bernice will rest for a while after filming The Legendary Ren Jie cos she has back injuries.

And btw, Bernice has a new blog (as stated in her Fanclub forum) but it's written in chinese as well, so I don think it's written by her but by her assistant?
