Cast:

Jerry said he looks forward to working with the 2 ladies & hopes to be able to create chemistry in the drama. He's a bit worried abt the piano scenes as he's been very busy with other works & have not practise recently. About working with the hot-tempered Dir Lin, Jerry said as long as one is serious abt work, there shld not be any problems with Dir Lin. From the news, it was confirmed that this drama is invested by CCTV from Mainland China, Dentsu Advertising Group/East Japan, Inc, from Japan, and a new production company in TW, Jie Mai Chuang Yi. It was reported that this drama will be filmed in Shanghai for 2 months and then TW for sometime. According to one of the script writers, it is rare for a new TW production company to be able to get invested money from both CCTV (this is the first time CCTV has invested in a drama project which main crew and cast are not people from Mainland China) and Dentsu. The writer team includes 3 lead and other writers, and the script writing has come to the last episode, and the storyline has been approved by CCTV and Dentsu. According to one script writer, this is the first time they finish writing the whole script before the start of filming. One lead writer has worked with Director Lin in the other 2 idol dramas. One has participated in MG1, MG-DMS series, Love Scar, Silence, and Change of Love?

Terri Kwan is so lucky to work with Jerry since she has also worked with the other two F4 and now with Jerry. I like Alice Ceng she is so pretty.

sounds good. i just hope the script will be as unique as possible, because i hate watching a drama and thinking "is this scene familiar?" from an older drama... in this case jay chow's secret. i dont think jerry can compare with jay (apologies to jerry fans) on piano skills (since some people may take years to play fluently and start young) but this will be interesting. i'd like to see him acting more than playing anyways, and preferably on his white grand piano... but he is one of the greatest in acting and terri kwan& alice ceng make it more tempting to watch. =3

a1958 found a blog on sina (http://blog.sina.com.cn/s/blog_4bdfced501009c9s.html)) owned by an artiste, Ding Hao, from Mainland China. In his blog, he mentioned that he would play Guan Ying's boyfriend in Starlit (kkla: So, Guan is going to play Xiao Lu and Zhen will play Cheng Yue's sweetheart from youth), and he would be the only male main lead (or male major actor) from Mainland China in the drama.

He stated that the filming should start by late April and early May, and he hopes that the ratings will be good when it is broadcasted on CCTV in October. He also mentioned that he attended a celebration party by CCTV sometime ago, as Starlit (stardust)broke CCTV's record. Why? Starlit's domestic and overseas broadcast copyright has been sold out even before the filming starts. (kkla: Wonder why? hahaha... ) BTW, Mainland China's official release press conference will be held in Shanghai in June.

According to Ding Hao, Starlit's filming has officially started on May 1, 8 am. CCTV's admin, Taiwan Mai Jie's 2 bosses, and they had a small ceremony/ritual to wish for good luck. As Jerry and Zeng Kai Xuan have to deal with some personal matters, they film the parts with Guan Ying and him first, and he said it is so tiring. No wonder Director Lin is famous of his fast pace, they always finish the day-time scenes by 3 something in the afternoon and start waiting for the night scenes to be ready. He just saw some films with preliminary editing and he commented "very nice". So he hopes when it will be broadcasted by the end of this year, fans can support.

I think Terri is the female lead based from the preview. But I dunno I kinda like Alice more. Though Terri looks good with Jerry too, I can't seem to feel much spark from Terri's role for 'Cheng Yue'(on the other hand, Cheng Yue seems really fond of her). That's what I've felt for Guan Xin in The Hospital too. But then again, from the previews, Terri's character seemed a tragic one so maybe that's why she cant completely open up to Cheng Yue. As for Alice, I kinda like the idea of 2 musicians together. And I would not deny that I feel chemistry with the new pics of them together(esp the one where Jerry is holding her face).



I hope it's a cemetery scene for both girls. HAHAHA. (I'm starting to sound like san. . .)

for the role played by Alice, Cheng Yue was not only childhood friend & boyfriend but partner in music. it must have hurt like hell for her when she got to know Cheng Yue can no longer play his beloved music bcos of the injuries to his hands.





looking at the above pixs, it looks to me like they are getting reading for filming & Jerry seems to be checking Alice's make-up for her.

i thought tat scene was the acting and the shooting part already..

Main leads Jerry Yan & Terri Kwan in upcoming Taiwanese drama “Starlit” are rumoured to be not getting on; their relationship is said to be “ice cold” during filming. On the 17th, “Starlit” had its wrap-up party, everyone was present except for Jerry and Terri. Jerry’s manager expressed: “Jerry was at the recording studio for his album, as he has to co-operate with the production companys' schedule." sighsss, for a storyline like this, I think I would've preferred someone else than Jerry for this.... (no offense to any fans here). Anywyas, can't really do anything about that.
I personally think that Guan Ying suits Jerry more than Alice. I love both girls though;so I don't really care that much. But it just looks more like Guan Ying+Jerry anyways.
A cemetery scene? erm, great....someone's gona die....
Looks like another sad story......
