FT Island is enjoying their music studies, in Japan
FT Island, who have left to Japan to study abroad, sent their hellos back home.

FT Island, who have been working with the repackaged album "Until you return," has recently completed their national album promotion and left for Japan while on vacation early April.

When met with the reporter in the street of Tokyo on 26th, Hongki sent his regards to his fans that they are all doing very well.

Lee Hongki especially emphasized the fact that "all members are enjoying their music studies."

In fact, they will be staying in Japan until June and share the various music of the Japanese music industry as well as receive training from a famous Japanese band.

Meanwhile, FT Island will step on stage on June 7th in celebration of the release of '2008 Yeonga' in Japan. At this concert, various artists such as SG Wannabe, See Ya, Shin Hye Sung, CSS as well as the MV stars Song Seung Hyun, Park Yong Ha and Lee Yeon Hwee will be joining FT Island.

:shocked OMG! Thanks for the pictures. I've missed nice pictures, Minhwan's hair. It's so different. I like his hair in the picture of just him and Jaejin though but the other one is a bit weird. And Jaejin looks like he's been working out as well Hot! Lol And they're naked. Well topless. Only Jaejin and Wonbin though~! But thats still good! Hongki and Jonghun are hiding the most because it doesnt seem like they work out as much as the other 3. Good way to start

Yeah, him and Hongki's hair has changed the most. They've had the most different hairstyls, and both of their new hairstyles I dont like.

I know sometimes I don’t have time to go on here either. Wow, so you knew FT Island for a long time now. That is awesome that you knew about them from the beginning. I found out about them in December when I was watching M Countdown. They performed Thunder and I went to go check them out and I thought that they were awesome and I loved them ever since. I actually recorded it so when I want to watch it I can.


OMG I LOVE FT ISAND even more now after I heard that 30 sec preview of their Japanese song! I can’t wait to hear the full version of the song now.

The boys, the voices, the instruments, the video! It was just amazing. I am really proud of them.
Hongki and Wonbin were so HOT! Their voices were really nice together.
The song was just absolutely wonderful! I LOVE IT! Their Japanese was really good and I am really excited for them! There are many other artists who are also learning Japanese as well. They aren’t young as FT Island though. They are so talented to learn another language and be able to sing so well in it too. FT Island will really go far with their music I think they have what it takes to be on top. They are really amazing. I can’t wait to hear more Japanese song from them.

Album Introduction
1. Friendship
Written, composed & arranged by Yoshihiko Chino

This song is written by the producer of Island Chapter's "FT Island" and also the boys' imaging in-charge, Chino-san. This time round, the lyrics will be more straight forward, mainly describing the members' lives and also their friendship. This song will also include all members' acapella parts. The members were quite nervous in the beginning during the rehearsals and made abit of mistakes here and there while playing. However, the recording went smoothly without mistakes. Recording was filled with excitement. Everyone was involved in the chorus part of the song. The image PV shots were taken in a studio, with the members performing inside.

2. Mirai Jitensha (Future Train)
Written & composed by Daichi. Arranged by Youwhich

Also another group of producers who took part in the production in their album last year, Daichi-san and Youwhich-san. Wonbin & Hongki will have their own harmonising vocal parts while the other members will take turns for solo parts (guitar, drums, bass). The members enjoyed playing live music and this song will portray the youth and liveliness of the members as they move towards the future.

3. soyogi
Written by Daichi. Composed by Daichi, Makoto Miyazai. Arranged by Youwhich

Title song of this album. Actually this song was produced last year and is only intended for the band to sing it when they're older. This song starts with a fine guitar solo. Soyogi means to rustle (wind). Just like the title itself, the tune carries an atmosphere which matches the theme of the song. The lyrics also end off in a similar manner. This song was meant for the harmonising vocals of Hongki & Wonbin. It would turn out nice if both of them harmonise the high notes together. During the recordings, there were many suggestions given to the team and they added some parts to the arrangement which best fit the group as a whole. The final chorus work was done by the 5 members.

4. Stars
Written & composed by Hiroki Nagase. Arranged by REO

This song is produced by Nagase Hiroki, the same person who produced Nakashima Mika's latest single "sakura~hanagasumi~" & "mienai hoshi", Kinki Kids' songs and Anna Tsuchiya insp' Nana's "kuroi namida" etc hit songs. Listen carefully to this matured ballad, you will realise that Hongki's vocals are very vibrant. This ballad has parts which requires the stretching of the vocals. The arrangement of this song, REO-san, has also arranged various songs for Shibasaki Kou and Tohoshinki. The song also has a slight touch of mechanism feel and the climax of the song comes from Minhwan's drum parts. Pace of the song is firm and the performance will show a mature side of the members. Deepest impression during the production of this song is when Jaejin thought carefully about how his pace should be for this song. Wonbin's vocals also matches the song well, with a strong accent.

5. A Song For You
Written, composed & arranged by Daisuke Mori

The 5th new song from this album is written, composed and arranged by the singer-writer, Mori Daisuke-san. This beautiful piano ballad includes a message in the song. It is also the group's debut 1st anniversary song. To thank all the fans for their support all these while, the message was specially included inside. Because of the fans' encouragement and support, they can continue to sing. This is a song which portrays their own feelings. Though it is slightly repressive for Hongki & Wonbin (due to language barriers), they worked hard on learning the meaning of the words so as to sing it better. The other members also did a wonderful recording of the chorus.

Written by Lee Heesung. Composed & arranged by Yoshikiho Chino

FT Island's image song, produced by the first Japanese composer from their previous album. The song was previously produced in Japan and live recorded by the members themselves. Therefore the members will also be doing a new live recording for this song.

7. Primadonna (New version from Cheerful Sensibility)
Written by Lee Heesung. Composed by Daichi.

This song will also have a new live recording by the members. The title of the song is the same as their fanclub name "Primadonna".

8. Always Be Mine (New version from Cheerful Sensibility)
Written, composed by Shusui & Hitvision. Arranged by Ryosuke Nakanishi

Korean song from their previous album. Actually the demo version of this song has English lyrics, for the members to sing when they think they could do it. Now the plan for them to sing in English has come true in this album.
