Thanks for the information. I love Files of Justice. It's so bad that TVB stops filming this series. I would prefer TVB series but with this one, I'll definitely watch it with great interest.

agree with you coiffeur, William So, Amy Chan, Bobby Au, Michael Tao were great in those series then. Love the chemisty btw Bobby & Michael then, they were always full of jokes... haven't seen Amy in series for so long now eversince she left TVB ...

IMO, Amy excellent most definitely in her ATV series; so if you were impressed with her then, I'll urge you to watch her ATV series, namely "Love in a Miracle" and "The Good Old Days." Another must watch is "Young Warriors" a Mainland production! All 3 of which are UNFORGETTABLE performances!


I do miss Bobby and Amy together as BEN and MICHELLE, they were my favorite couple in all the FOJ! I was completely and utterly DISAPPOINTED when TVB continued to film the series without Amy. BEN and MICHELLE were the couple who made the series, so after Michelle was gone, the show went DOWNHILL!



I really want to see Bobby and Amy together again, I don't want her to pair up with Lawrence, I HATE THAT GUY!





Speaking of Bobby and Amy; in an online article that I've read a few months back, Bobby mentioned that one of his most ADMIRED co-star was AMY CHAN SAU MAN. He complimented that he praised her and respect her for her passion in acting, her dedication as a mother & wife, and her talents. It was really sweet that he'd mentioned that. And coming from Bobby, who had been co-stared with virtually all TVB actors/actresses, it is a really BIG DEAL!

With this said, I was even more strongly convinced that Bobby and Amy needs to reunite and film a 'kick-a$$' series together! If only they could, I would die happy!

Jackie Lui. Joey Meng , Pinky Cheung, Lulu Ng and Lam Suet will start filming ATV new series. Yesterday the cast had an costume fitting. The producer is Ex-TVB producer Tang Dak Hai who had produced several golden classic TVB series in the past. There will also be many Ex-TVB actors in the series such as Amy Chan, William So and Lawrence Ng. Tang Dak Hai laughs that every actor has high earnings. The storyline will have cases that viewers may recognise from the news. There will be cases such as sex picture scandals, Tsui Po Ko's case etc. He states that it shouldn't affect Lawrence Ng's relationship with TVB, by filming this series.

Jackie Lui and Joey Meng will work together again in this series. They had previously dated each other in the past. Asked whether they would feel awkward? He states that he had not seen Joey for a long time. He also claimed that Joey had already got married and become Mrs Chan. (Asked when he will get married? ) He laughs and says after Tony Leung's wedding. Currently he hasn't got plans to get married yet, but will announce it when it's time. He had previously taken wedding photos with his girlfriend Mak Ging Ting for his friend's wedding store promotion. Joey Meng expresses that she has not filmed a series for over 2 years, since "My Date with a Vampire III". She will portray an forensic investigator. When we mentioned Jackie Lui, she started to yell, saying that she is now Mrs Chan. She reveals that after Jackie left ATV to join TVB in 1994, she had not seen him since. She jokes that its good Jackie didn't wait for her all these years and she still doesn't wants to have kids.

Lawrence supports Wong Hei, leaving TVB as normal

ATV drama 法網群英 will be starting filming very soon. Producer Gary Tang had invited the whole cast for a Karaoke night in Causeway Bay the other night . Lawrence Ng, who plays the lead role revealed he hasn't worked with the cast of ATV before. Therefore this gathering organized by Gary would help his communication with the other cast members.

Lawrence will have to leave for mainland China to start filming another series in September. He hopes to start filming 法網群英 very soon. The reporter asked if he is looking forward to be working with Gary, he replied " sure, this is the 4th time I work with him, I have every confidence in him"

Lawrence will be playing the lead role in 法網群英. he will be working with Joey Meng, Jo Kuk and Pinky Cheung. But he hasn't received the script yet, therefore he still doesn't know who will pair up with him.

The reporter asked Lawrence what he thinks about Wong Hei having problems with the management contract with TVB. He said he is not a very close friend of Wong Hei. His reply was " this is quite normal. If you are happy then continue the contract, if not, then split." Lawrence also disclosed that he had a call from TVB asking him about accepting to film 法網群英 for ATV. But that was only a call to clarify the matter, not to blame him for accepting it.

I seriously cannot wait for the series to air! I know it'll be a while, but I'm anticipating this series like none other! I love Amy, William, Joey, and Kenneth; but I do hate Lawrence (for many reasons, other than the fact that he is an arrogant and talent-less actor)! I'm hoping I'll enjoy the series, nonetheless, even if it means having Lawrence as the lead (which still bothers me), but anything for the rest of the casts. The rest of them are satisfying!

This is a rather big budget series, so I'm having high hopes for it; its been way too long since I've seen and liked a modern ATV production. Let's hope this is good!


BTW, I love seeing Amy in suits again; I did miss MICHELLE!

The other day Amy Chan and Lawrence Ng, started a filming a ATV series "Legal Elite" <<法網群英>> The other day they were filming in Hong Kong Central District, they film at a park near Lan Kwai Fong for an out door scene. He was playing a role of a professional and had to put on a suit. Lawrence Ng actually had a fever and had to endure it. No wonder why some of his scene he seems expressionless and had no feeling.
Lawrence said, “I am afraid that it will be transmitted to my wife, so I am being really careful. She is now 5 months pregnant and will be returning to Beijing in December to give birth. I prefer having a daughter because they are piety and obedient. Amy Chan hasn’t acted in a modern series since 2000. This is Lawrence and Amy’s first time working together. Amy laughed and said she doesn't mind sharing her experience with raising kids.

Same here , i don't like Lawrence for some reasons . Is anyone know who Joey will be pair with in this series ? Hope not Lawrence .

For some reason I think there's a triangle between Lawrence, Amy, and Joey... HOPEFULLY NOT! I'm crossing my fingers for a Kenneth and Amy pairing! They are so sweet together!

Oh there's also Pinky Cheung I wonder who she's pairing up with.
So looking forward to this series, it has so many of my favorite actors, Pinky, Joey, and Jackie. I haven't seen Joey for a while and haven't seen Jackie in years ever since he went to film mainland series.

This is certainly something I am looking forward to! I love Files of Justice and Healing Hands, both produced by Gary Tang.

this one has many old tvb stars who hasn¨t act for a long time, it¨s a bit weird that they don¨t act for tvb, but maybe they had an argue with tvb so they won¨t act more for tvb but i really hope this one would be as great as a tvb production

There are many veteran actors who left TVB because they argued, but for the most part, they left because TVB doesn't pay them well enough compared to other markets. There are a number of elder stars who got paid very well in China Mainland market; personally, I think many of the actresses who left TVB definitely deserve more respect and pay from TVB, its just, TVB is too lost in its little 'physical' charm-world to notice the real talents within!

I for one think many of them are better off without TVB; the only thing I find negative about their leaving is that... I DON'T GET TO SEE THEM AS OFTEN AS I WOULD LIKE.

I am not particularly a fan of the recent (past 2 or so year) TVB production, as they lack edge and proper talents from its stars (the younger ones, mainly)...



ATV generally produce rather 'boring' modern day dramas; whereas they excel in their ancient (more so; pre-modern) drama... That is, in comparison with TVB! As much disappointment that I have had with ATV's modern dramas, I am still looking forward to the series; mainly because Amy is in it!

wow i'm SO excited for this series! it's even got marco ngai in it! damn this is going to be exciting! i love almost everyone in it! i'm just kinda sad chan chin pang's not in it since he's left atv now and tvb hasn't given him any breakout roles either but with pinky, JOEY meng!, lawrence, kenneth, amy and jackie and so many more actors that i love and miss this series is going to be a definite must-watch!

But I guess you mean, THANK GOD SHE'S BACK INTO FILMING A NEW SERIES; even so, that wouldn't be so correct, since she was just filming a minor role for some China production earlier this year with Benny Chan and some other people (I'm not familiar with Mainland China's list of actors and actresses)!

But it has been quite some time since she had last filmed a series with ATV, since her last two series were a China production series. And the last series she did with ATV was "Love in a Miracle" - that was 4 years ago in 2004.




This upcoming series would be Amy's first modern series after about ten years (more precisely, over 8 years); her last one being "Anywhere but Here" in 2000. I cannot wait to see it; despite the fact that I prefer seeing her in ancient or pre-modern dramas roles more - but whatever era it is, I'm sure Amy would excel in whatever role she gets.

And if I may be correct, Amy would be portraying a single-mother in here. I'm super excited for this drama.

YEAH! Joey is back, i've been waiting for her series to come out since after Vampire 3!!! She's always soooo pretty!

And I really hope she'll pair up with Jacky here, they got really good chemistry, i started watching the 2 of them since i was young, and they still look so young n compatible together... heee sooo exciting!

Yeah, Joey had awesome chemistry with Jacky in the grand Yang series from ATV. Hope they pair up! Jacky is really underrated--he was also amazing as Ling Wu Chong in State of Divinity, but he didn't do too much in TVB.

Has this series finished filming yet and when is it going to air? ATV seems to lack series and don't air good series but this one seems promissing, i remember the last one was Flaming Butterfly whihc turns out to be awesome!

Havn't watched an ATV series since My Date With a Vampire. This ones sounds worth watching. Love Joey Mung.

I believe "Burning Flames" was a production that was a collaboration between ATV and some other Mainland Broadcasting Network; so ATV shouldn't be fully credited for the success of the series, alone!

The series' storyline was promising, but the acting was rather weak; that's just my opinion, but truly, the series was much better than all the other CRAAP I've seen ATV throw together for the past yearsss! Thanks goodness, because that series gave me hope for ATV, especially with this new drama!



To answer your question; from what I've read, the series has ended its filming (FINISHED) but about its full whereabouts I am uncertain! It may be in the process of editing right now; it may also require some reshoots, as this would be a smart thing for ATV to do, because the series is rather 'highly' anticipated by many ATV veterans' fans (with the veteran-packed castings, its an obvious thing)!

This series may be ATV's next-to-the-closest comeback drama they have; the competition is fierce, so I think its all for the best that they make it as best they can!

ahhhh when is this series coming out. Its march already, Thought it was due ages ago.

　　最近不少香港媒體都收到一封匿名電郵，投訴鄧特希拖欠電視劇《法網群英》工作人員工資，《法網群英》也因預算超支、製作粗糙、劇本零碎等原因，表面上已拍完，實際是處於『爛尾』狀態，播出無期。電郵還指鄧特希愛吃『搖頭丸』，曾神志不清地出現在片場。另外，已有《法網群英》的幕後人員正式報警，指鄧特希工作室拖欠他們的工資逾50萬港元。

　　沒劇本『飛紙仔』

　　女主演之一的張文慈表示曾聽說v酗u作人員收不到工資，拍攝時也是經常『飛紙仔(事先沒有完整劇本，到現場才給幾張紙作為當天劇本)』，『演員們都要互相交流拍了些什麼，才能像拼圖一樣知道劇情』。

　　成品至今未見

　　據悉，《法網群英》並非亞視出品，而是由鄧特希工作室製作，同時亞視買下該劇播出權。本報記者通過亞視公關經理區展程了解到，亞視至今未能確定《法網群英》具體播出檔期，原因是『至今未見到該劇的成品』。由於同樣原因，他也無法對整部劇的質量作出評論。

　　鄧特希對本報記者說：『我相信播出完全沒問題，但何時能開播不由我決定。』他稱已與亞視高層溝通過，因為當初開拍時間推遲，交片時間才根據合約順延，現在正在後期處理中，估計4月可以完工。『我們運用了大量的實景模式，拍攝手法跟以往的港產劇有所不同，整部劇的效果應該是香港電視劇製作模式中少見的。』

　　對『匿名電郵投訴』，鄧特希表示『好荒謬』，稱自己並未收到任何投訴：『如果有工作人員被拖欠工資，要等我聯絡到製片人夏澤信才知道是怎麼回事，因為人是他找回來的，我剛從國外回來，還未聯絡到他。但演員方面無任何人投訴，正是與他們合作愉快，我們才能在有限資源下做到成功。』

　　他否認自己吃過搖頭丸，又不承認劇本是『支離破碎』：『可能只是有人不習慣臨時修改劇本。』 他表示這幾天如常回亞視對《法》劇進行剪輯，沒有受到外界影響，『現在已「剪」了十幾集，效果滿意。』

　　陳啟泰：拍得很認真

　　陳啟泰是劇中主演之一，他力贊《法網群英》是『我近幾年來參與過製作最認真的一部劇』。陳啟泰又說y馴沒聽過鄧特希有服用搖頭丸的習慣。

　　陳啟泰承認這部劇雖然在去年10月底號稱殺青，但的確未全部拍完，但當時所剩戲份也不多，現在已全部y馱u，『據我所知，還在後期剪輯中，應該會排在4月播出』。

Even though its " finished" some workers claim it is not finished and it is a LAN MEI KEK, meaing they dont have money to finish it off so its "broken ended". They claim that the producer hasn't paid the workers and that the producer is on drugs. Even though they claimed they have finished last year, theres no news that it will broadcast anytime soon. They claimed that it was because they went over the budget and the filming wasnt organized cause there wasnt a script. Instead, only the actors arrive on set and the producer gives them a couple pieces of papers as script. They even said that the the producer is getting sued by the workers. But the producer replied that its fake and it will be broadcasted in april
