i like Koni Lui better, she has a sexier body and look. considering this is her first series , i think her acting is better than sharon chan most of the scenes. what do u think?

I dont think we can just compare them both because they both plays a different role in this serie. And Sharon is not been given enough chances to perform by TVB. If TVB give her sufficient opportunities to perform/act, I guess her acting will be far more better than how she is now. If you were to compare in this serie, it's practically impossible.

In terms of appearance, I think Sharon looks slightly better than Koni (I dont know why, but I think Koni's face looks abit weird). But if you were to compare in terms of body/figure, then I'll definitely choose Koni.

I say koni she has the looks more and I think she acts really well as this is only her first series must agree at times she is better then sharon. No tvb gave sharon chances and she just couldn't handle it.

I have always thought that Sharon is a decent actress, not very outstanding when compared to the other actresses around her age but definitely not bad. I think she is best when she is playing a 'villian' eg. in DD. (her character was what made me continue watching that series)
However, I'm not really liking her in 'Catch Me Now'. It has nothing to do with her acting though, but rather her character in there.

Koni on the other hand got a much better character which is a plus for her. Aside from the interesting character of hers, her acting is indeed quite good for a newcomer. If she is already acceptable in her first series I believe she will make it quite far in the industry if she continues to improve.

With all that said, I think I would choose Koni since if I compare her performance in CMN with Sharon's first series...Koni did a better job in my opinion.

Koni in this debut series would probably give her many more important roles in the future expecially i she is good with TVB managers. As for Sharon, I think she has improved so muchover the years in acting and looks. She is good in both evil and good roles, but I don't know if TVB wouldever promote her:(

I don't know why but I really can't see Koni as being pretty at all. In fact, below average. She got a very strange looking face. Her acting is not good either but considering it's her first serie, she's not doing a bad job. As for Sharon, she hardly gets good role other than DD! I still like Sharon more although in terms of character, Koni's character is more appealing here.

i pick Koni over Sharon..i dont really like Sharon's charcter in Catch Me Now..and i think that Koni'a acting is really good in here for a beginner

I agree with jjding. I dont think Koni is pretty, but Im not trying to say she looks ugly. I've mentioned it earlier already. But she looks quite sexy, and its good to see that her acting is not that bad, for her first serie.

i like koni more, i agree at times her face shape kinda looks a little funny but most of the time its pretty =]
i think its the angle of the shot and she has quite prominent jaw + cheek bones so she has a kinda squarish jaw (my friend kinda has that too)

personally, i think TVB has given sharon lots of chances except she's never really shone in any role but i think she's been doing a fair job hosting
like i didnt think her acting was that great in DD and she got a big role in that kevin + bosco series

on the otherhand koni's acting was great in CMN

well this is just my personal opinion and im not a big fan of sharon so dont mind me if you do like her

To be honest, I really can’t compare the two. I mean this is the first time I have seen Koni in a series and in terms of looks, I like them both. Both are very tall, skinny, and have long legs. I like them both actually.

In this series, both of them have pretty clothes and I like their accessories a lot especially Sharon’s rings that she is wearing.

Hmm.. tough choice. In terms of role in CMN, i prefer Koni. For some reason, I find the whole family (Joe, Fala and Sharon) annoying. Maybe it's the roles they were given.

I PICK KONI OVER SHARON TOO, SHE'S TALLER TO ME AND YES FOR A BEGINNER, HER ACTING IS REALLY GOOD. SHE'S VERY PRETTY AND CUTE.

I like both, and I think both are fine in their roles. Sharon has been constantly improving as an actress, and Koni's doing well for a first series. However, Koni got the better & cooler role, being part of the thieves! so I think that's why ppl are preferring Koni over Sharon in the series.

I think Koni's face looks weird too. I'd say Sharon is a lot prettier. I really like her style in this series (skinny jeans, boots, vest), it's cute.

Definitely KONI LUI!!! She's considered good for a new comer and she is a lot more better than the others. She may not be as pretty as Sharon or Aimee but I think overall, I think Koni is much better than Sharon.

I think Koni is a better actress. I watched a few Sharon's series, they r so-so only. Sharon's acting can be dull at times, esp in this Catch me now series.

But different in Koni's case. She's HOT, and pretty. Her acting is quite good considering tat's her 1st time. Though at times I noticed that this CMN series tried to promote her sexiness rather than anything else.

As for looks, Sharon has a better looking face. As for body, I think Koni might have a better body. As for acting, considering this is Koni's debut series - I'd go for Koni. Sharon has never been heavily promoted by TVB, so it's hard to say if she's a REALLY great actress or not. But in this series, I like Koni's character a lot more. She's mysterious, soft, loving and funny at times. Whereas Sharon's character is too rigid. Because of her rigid character, she regrets not giving BT another chance.

I prefer Koni. As a debut actress, she did fairly decent. Her role in this series is far more interesting than Sharon's.

i like sharon better. koni does not really attacts me. i always thout she looks like joey yung in some angles. she is not that pretty or sexy. but i think she did alot better than aimee chen

I really liked Sharon, I prefer her to Koni, or even Fala . OK, maybe I got a thing for the under-promoted like pity... but she's doing well here. I just hope she doesn't sink faster and faster as there are more competitive pretty gals coming up every year. I'd hate to see her ending up as the keh leh feh like Sherming ( Joe's restaurant manager ).

How does Koni act better? I think she still needs to develop. She has the better body, but in some scenes, she comes off as awkward. Sharon was amazing in BT's death scene. She didn't overact, but she had great emotion. And she's so striking. I never really paid attention to her when she was in Welcome to the House.

Sharon has years' of experience while CMN is Koni's debut series so it is obvious who has the upper hand. But I personally think Koni did a better job here compared to the first few series of Sharon's. Regarding BT's death scene, my opinion is opposed of yours...I thought Sharon overacted in that scene with all that screaming. Perhaps it is because I never felt the love her character had for BT? I thought the thieves, on the other hand did a good job there. From the car to the hospital and then at Jack's home...everyone conveyed their emotions really well.

i prefer koni considering this is her first serie, yet, her acting is more interesting than other newcomers....one of da few beauty pagaent people who can actually act without being heavely promoted, i can say

plus, koni's character is quite interesting in da serie too

What the you think she below average? my goodness where do you live? If you think 2nd runner up for Miss Hong Kong 06 is below average I wonder what you think about HK people in general but w/e that another story.


Both are cute to me as for acting there always room for improvement.

They are both ok, but I think Koni is better, especially as a beginner.

Koni = shes was great seeing how this was her first series. she is really pretty in this series too and her crying skills were very impressive for a beginner.
Sharon Chan = really liked Sharon here. her acting has improved and also her character was so likeable. she really matched Johnson. thought they were a good couple.

I rather like Koni Lui character in the story. She portrayed the character very well and believable for a noobie actor. Her character in the story is also very interesting and enjoyable to watch. Sharon did a good job too but her character is too boring.

I like Koni better, mainly because I find Sharon's character bleah... She's born in 1979 in this show! I mean come on, she's 29 already, and she doesnt have a boyfriend (nor does she seem to have broken up with a boyfriend before this beginning of this show). She collects "MIMIs". Plus, there's nothing interesting about her, and the only thing weird about her is that even though her character is suppose to be born 1979, her character develops as if she's born 1989.

Both are pretty decent actresses. But Sharon's been acting longer, Koni is acting for her 2nd time and I find her acting pretty good for a newbie. I like both but I prefer Koni better. I like her character and acting.

They're both so tall. Koni looks like she's 178 cm to me but she's only 1cm taller than Sharon.

If I have to choose one between them, I like Sharon more than Koni!
Sharon looks more beautiful & her acting is more natural than Koni!
However, I like both of their characters here since their relationship with BT is entertaining & touching near the end of the series!!!
