Tabloid magnets Kevin Chen and Kate Tsui standing strong

Yahoo News

Entertainment industry gets hit by economic crisis too - Stars not spared

"Last One Standing" not only made Roger Kwok infamous with his role, but also allowed Kevin Cheng to have a great breakthrough in his acting. Kevin even expresses that it is his favorite role thus far. As for getting awards for his performance, Kevin is not especially concerned. He is contented with the opportunity to take up such a great role, and winning the cheers of viewers. "An award would be an extra bonus", says Kevin.

In the midst of the current economic downturn, no profession is spared; even Hong Kong's entertainment industry is affected. Having received TVB's Best Actor in a Leading Role award last year, Kevin reveals that a pay cut is in the current economy is inevitable, and he is prepared to accept it and ride out the crisis together with everyone.

Kevin shares that his market value has indeed increased after receiving the award, but not to the extent of half a fold, "That would be too exaggerating." As for the outlook for this year's Best Actor, Kevin is not optimistic about the increase in market value given the current economic situation.

Artistes hardly escapes tabloid these days, with regards to his relationship with Charmaine Sheh, Kevin explains that they are merely friends from work, moreover, she is not his only tabloid partner in his 15 years career. However the couple was indeed seen appearing on the red carpet, for the award ceremony, and posing for photographs rather intimately.

Absence of negative remarks from the public has Kate Tsui doubting her acting skills

Miss Hong Kong 2004, Kate Tsui, made her mark from her appearance in "La Femme Desperado". However, her open discussion about sex related issue on a programme nearly caused her to be put in "cold storage", as viewers felt that her actions were damaging to the image of Miss Hong Kong Pageant. It was only after a public apology did the matter die down. In 2007, collaboration with Simon Yam and Tony Leung, in "Eye in the Sky" allowed her shine on screen once again. It was not hard to notice the efforts by her company to support and re-introduce her.

Kate received nomination for "Best Supporting Actress" for her role in "Moonlight Resonance". During her interview at the awards ceremony, she expressed her confidence in the production to win awards. Kate also reveals that it was her first time participating in such a huge production and she could really appreciate the production's secret to success. "Moonlight Resonance" walks away, a huge winner, with six awards.

Roger Kwok's flawless portrayal of the villain in "Last One Standing" made viewers hate "him", some even scolded him in public. On the contrary, Camie Lo from "Moonlight Resonance", played by Kate, did not win the "hate" of the public. This made Kate wondering if she had not done the part well. She does however, comments that viewers are more rational these days; and are able to differentiate reality from TV.

Tavia Yeung talks about Fala Chen, Kate Tsui, Linda Chung, and others

Translated by hyn5 @ http://hyn5-hyn5.blogspot.com/

Thinks Highly of Linda Chung

Mak Ling Ling: Why don't you comment about the later generation as a older sister status. Let's start with the one you are most friend with, Fala Chen.

Tavia: If you don't know Fala, you would feel that she is difficult to get along with. I can say I am very familiar with her and we communicate quite well. She is a straightforward person, direct to a point where it makes people don't like her. Also, she has a lot of principles. She always asks, "Why this? Why that?" She has a lot of reasonings, too. She and I will have arguments, but I know she is a Westerner and she is a 乖女!

Mak Ling Ling: For a girl's point of view, do you think she attracts a lot of attention? The media always writes about her flirting with her eyes!

Tavia: She is attractive! She in fact does have a great figure. I always go "Wah!" when I stand beside her. With such an advantage, there is no reason not to let 外界觀點, 是非所理沒. In my heart, personally she is not that type of person. It is possibly a technique for the cameras and I wouldn't ask her how many boyfriends she has. But, she trusts me and she would tell me a lot things.

Mak Ling Ling: Are you envious of her for having such a great figure to help her get a lot of exposure?

Tavia: I wouldn't use the word envy because I have my way of survival. Besides, she is from Miss Chinese International and I am from TVB's Acting Class. We will have to whose strides are faster! I am quite proud that I am from TVB's Acting Class and that I have not participated in Miss Hong Kong. To be able to sit here and do this interview today, it is from my hard work. Also, I am a rather 慢熱, step by step person. I have been in the industry for ten years, so I understand myself very well.

Mak Ling Ling: How about Kate Tsui?

Tavia: I have not worked with Kate. The most we interacted was at Claire Yiu's wedding. Work related is close to zero. I first met her because of the filming of "On the First Beat," she cut her hair, very tom-boy like and she spoke 粗魯. In "Moonlight Resonance," she grew her long and she is able to be very girly. In some degree, she is quite quiet. She knows exactly what she needs to do and she has her method of acting. She had previously won an award in movies, her acting is quite mature and her improvement is rapid.

Mak Ling Ling: How about Linda Chung?

Tavia: Linda, too does not speak much and she is also a silly girl. She would ask for our opinions and to some extent, she is a nervous wreck and needs us to comfort her. I am already used to it. I have watched her performance in "Heart of Greed" and she acted very well.

Mak Ling Ling: If you are to pick one of the three that you 最睇好, who will you pick?

Tavia: I will pick Linda, because I have watched more of Linda's series. Her performace in "Heart of Greed" made me quite 刮目相看. Her performance if different in there and she turn her crying on and off.

Mak Ling Ling: How about even newer ones like Tracy Ip and Sharon Luk?

Tavia: I have seen Sharon Luk host and I can't comment/judge a person that quickly. I have used many years to accomplish what I have today. But I saw "When Easterly Showers Fall on the Sunny West" and she can spend a little more time [on acting]. I am not familiar with Tracy Ip, even in "Moonlight Resonance" we had little contact. My deepest impression of Tracy is her being a host. As for her series, I do not dare to say if it is good or not, but all I can say is she can be better!

In order to prove that she is not dating, Tavia brought up an example to prove she is not attractive. "I really do have no attractiveness. Why is that? All of the other girls' have rumours as if they are being instructed to have. Ron gives me rides all the time. We have even held hands and walked in Causeway Bay and still no rumours!"

Kate Tsui and Alex Fong treat cast and crew to dinner
Tuesday December 23, 2008 Hong Kong
Source: http://news.on.cc/
Translated by travelbug @ http://asianfanatics.net

Kate Tsui attended the wrap up dinner for "The Hatred of Love/杏林心處", she said: "Alex is the organizer for this dinner, several leading actors and actresses share the cost to treat 60 cast and crew members, I've already brought a five-figured amount. It was fun to cooperate with Alex, he is very friendly and loves to tell jokes. I feel it's a little strange to call him Chung Sun/中信, so I call him Fong Chung Sir/方中Sir, he likes this name."

Alex Fong said: "I don't mind (treating) as long as everyone is happy. About halfway during the filming of this series TVB layoffs occured, that day before going home we all took a photo together, luckily everyone was safe. I don't think there will be more layoffs because now the crew is understaffed."

Wayne Lai's Views on New Generation of Fa Dan and Siu Sangs

Thinks Highly of Ron Ng

Mak Ling Ling: Out of the new generation of fa dan and siu sang, who do you 睇好?

Wayne: (seriously thinking for a long time) I think the newbies now are pitiful because they don't have directors helping them. Back then, when we first entered the business, there were a lot of directors willing to teach you. Now, the directors main purpose is to focus on filming. It is already good enough that the directors can handle the shots, let alone teach you.

Mak Ling Ling: How about Tavia Yeung?

Wayne: Tavia is quite good. She is the most outstanding of all of them. I actually quite think highly of Kate Tsui. Kate has her own uniqueness and her individual personality is quite strong. An actor really needs a strong character.

Kate Tsui became very clumsy cooking 5 dishes and 1 soup. She was worried that her hands would be covered in a fishy smell and also afraid that she would have contact with live animals. Her best cooking talent us cooking Italian Spaghetti. Kate had the opportunity to appear on TVB's "Starry Kitchen" and show her cooking talent. But instead revealed her weaknesses. She laughed and said to avoid having an accident at home she hardly enters the kitchen.

Kate Tsui: Proposal No Diamond Ring, Instant Reject

Yesterday Kate Tsui and Alex Fong were filming for new series "Medicine of Love", one scene talked about Alex proposing to Kate, but did not have a diamond ring, Kate smiled and said that if in reality the same incident happened, she would immediately reject the proposal.

Kate Tsui, Alex Fong and Vivien Yeo were filming for the new series and the scene spoke about Kate suffering from a hereditary mental illness and on top of that she was injured from being kidnapped. Playing as her boyfriend and her psychiatrist Alex Fong was talking with Kate, when he suddenly proposed to her, but did not have a diamond ring. Afterwards, Kate smiled: "If in real life the same thing happened, I would not accept it! It means that the boy doesn't have commitment! If someone proposes to me in the future, commitment is needed."

Working Hard on singing, won't compare

Soon Kate will be stepping into the music industry, she expressed that after filming this series she would be working on recording for her debut album and prepare for its release. Currently there are many TV Siu Sangs and Fadans going into singing, the competition is sure advancing. Kate replied to this: "Can't compare, but I would work hard on practicing my singing, hope that I will have some improvements."

Vivien Yeo eating carefully

Also, Vivien Yeo who was also on the set plays a fat girl. Before filming, she arrived in TVB Cafe for lunch. Because she didn't want to ruin her make-up, we see her cutting up the Sui Mai into little pieces, like chips. When she was eating, she would only slightly open her mouth and would have to use the mirror to help her eat. Asked why don't she eat again after filming, then it won't be so difficult? She said: "Can't, this make-up and the costume is too heavy. Earlier because I felt it was troublesome, I ate after working. But before the day ended, I already started feeling dizzy and had no strength!"

Susanna Kwan & Kate Tsui's Villain Addiction

Susanna Kwan and Kate Tsui are both artistes from different generations, but earlier they bumped into each other in a series playing as mother and daughter, both playing villain roles. Their acting has been praised by audiences, the two say that they don't mind being villains again, and indicated that audiences are very smart, as they know how to distinguish. Towards audience fate, they said that it must match with the weather, favorable setting, no fighting and cannot force it.

Current Generation Series fans are smart

Earlier Susanna and Kate played the roles "Sa Yi" and "Ka Mei" respectively and has been engraved in peoples hearts. They both admitted that acting out the characters were difficult and that the characters were very hated by everyone, but don't mind to play the role again. Susanna said: "Earlier everyone said that I really got into character and asked me how I remembered my lines, can be so evil! Ha Ha, actually I'm very fortunate to be playing this role at this time because audience knows how to distinguish between reality and acting, even the elderly knows that I'm only acting. It's not the same as before when your a Crown Prince, you'll be a Crown Prince for the rest of your life. But during filming, there was some stress because I never done this before, when I was watching the playbacks I felt that I didn't do enough, so I did the scene again in front of the mirror. If I need to play this role again, I don't mind as long as its a different style, otherwise there won't be any challenges, no breakthrough."

As for Kate she said: "Acting development is hard because I need to force myself to believe that I'm Ka Mei, I need to be a bad girl to the max. If I had to act this again, I don't mind, earlier in 'The Four' I was also a villain. The producer felt that me being a villain is a good thing. Before, the roles I played 90% of the time I was a big good person, each role has a different element. I do want to accept more challenges."

Character was acted out to be so hated by everyone

Many artistes will be laughing and chatting before filming beings, but some would sit in one side and try to get into character. Susanna highly praises Kate's seriousness in her work, she had done all her homework before shooting. Susanna said: "She is a serious actress, once she enters the studio she won't be talking much, she would sit to one side and try to get into character, she really puts in a lot of effort to do a scene. Scenes opposite of each other, she has done very well. Before filming, we didn't really talk about the scene, we only practiced twice before the real thing, that's what's called real. If waited out, then the hatred won't be enough, it won't hit the meat!" But Kate said modestly: "It's because my experience is not a lot, so I have to sit aside to practice more. I don't know if it's like this, but people may think I'm not proficient in my performance yet. Also often I don't discuss with others, once we discuss about personals, my mentality has a higher responsibility."

Audience Fate, Some People are Born with it

Speaking of audience fate, Susanna expressed hers is lucky, her audience fate has always been just average: "Many people will have audience fate once they come out, like they are born to have the fate. For me, it has always been only ok, maybe before I didn't have many negative gossips or rumors. I feel that the current artiste's transparency is too high, it would be better if we distance from the audience a bit."

Kate said: "For audience fate, I don't think I can control it. Audiences all have different tastes, but I'm viewing it positively. Online, there are some positive feedback about me, but there are also many criticisms, I do feel this is a good thing, at least this could help me work hard to improve."

Stepping into Music Industry without fear

Soon, Kate and her Music Record company will be holding an autograph session, indicating that she has officially entered the Music Industry. Asked if she would ask Susanna to give her some pointers? Susanna smiled: "She's a smart girl, her opportunities in participating in concerts and stage work could soon surpass me. She is so smart and hard working, she definitely will be able to handle the work, but she must work hard at it, constantly improving. If not, this industry (music) you can easily fall behind. Other things she does not need to worry about." Kate is thankful for Susanna's praises and said that entering the music industry, she doesn't have much pressures. She explains: "Towards singing, its like a piece of white paper, I am in the Baby stage, I don't know what I will be able to do. I will constantly explore the possibilities, I will try my best and to go try!"

Kate Tsui & Matthew Ko both expressed no rush to date

Past rumored couple Kate Tsui and Matthew Ko has a relationship like older sister, younger brother. Towards the rumors, the two just laughed calmly. Their responses are alike too, where they expressed that rumors are apart of their careers, they are not one another's other half.

Kate expressed that after entering the entertainment circle, she had not experienced buying peach blossoms to help boost luck for her audience fate. Asked if she would buy peach blossoms to help with her marriage fate? She said: "there is already enough to worry about at work, actually marriage can be taken slowly. But honestly, I wouldn't deliberately deny dating someone. If it's the truth that I met a person that I really like, but still say that I don't. But, I believe in the near future, I won't be getting married, so I won't be wasting my time to think about that stuff. Right now my Mr. Right hasn't appeared yet, during this time, my career comes first. My heart isn't ready yet!" Matthew and Kate has the same perspective, they hope to take advantage of the many opportunities TVB is giving them to try and do more jobs, he smiled: "I really didn't know that Blossoms were used to help boost audience and marriage fate. So I never brought any, but I'm not in a rush date. I'm still young now, I hope to set a foundation for my career first. Other things I won't be thinking about right now."

The two also expressed that after entering the entertainment circle, they cherish spending time with family members more than ever. Once they finish working, they will be going home to have their family dinner reunion.

Kate Tsui Full of Luck this year, Many fight to "touch" it

Yesterday Kate Tsui appeared in a "Mermaid" look to film for TVB's new promotional clip. Kate had on a back-revealing mermaid costume on, very colorful and sexy looking, quite unique. During filming, the temperature increased, adding a bit of warmth to the wintery weather.

Towards this task, Kate said: "I am thankful that my company gave me this opportunity because TVB does want to give me a new fresh image. As I will be releasing an album soon, it's a good idea to reveal a new image of myself."

This year's Chinese New Year, besides being able to appear in a parade, she was also won a "golden ox", seems to be extremely lucky this year. Yesterday when she returned to TVB, there were many colleagues of her that wanted to 'touch' some of her luckiness. She laughed and said: "I gave the Golden Ox to my family members as a gift, My parents were very happy! On the second and third day of New Year I had time off to rest, my family went on a trip while I was left in Hong Kong to earn money."

BACK IN TIME: Kate Tsui, who was Miss Hong Kong 2004

Kate Tsui: No, I'm not a diva
HK actress Kate Tsui says no one would hire if she were a diva

BOLD, liberal and not afraid to talk about sex.

That might be your impression of Hong Kong actress Kate Tsui.

After all, in 2006, the 29-year-old former beauty queen made headlines when she spoke openly and uninhibitedly about sex on a live radio programme.

She even went into great detail about G-spots, her preferred duration for sex, as well as favourite make out spots and other intimate sex details.

That episode apparently 'incurred the wrath' of higher management at TVB and she was kept in 'cold storage' for a while till the matter finally blew over.

Recently, there were also reports of her 'diva-like attitude' at work, which claimed that she often turned up late for filming.

So before The New Paper met the actress at Marriott Hotel here recently, this reporter wondered: Who is the real Kate Tsui?

Kate was quick to dispel talk about her demanding behaviour, declaring that she is 'no diva', and that those 'rumours' were simply untrue.

'I believe that directors and producers who chose to work with me are smart people. They know what's real and what's not,' she said.

'If I really had a problem, surely they wouldn't continue casting me in their dramas or movies, right?'

And yes, while she might look every bit the sexy, irresistible bombshell, she came across as a big kid at heart during the interview.

With a pristine complexion and a hot, tousled-hair look, she appeared like an excited young girl when her favourite topics were brought up.

Such as all the action sequences in her new TV series, The Four - her first foray into the swordfighting period genre.

'I enjoyed doing all the martial arts sequences very much, which were mostly shot in Yunnan, China,' she said.

'Unlike series that are set in the modern day, period dramas give me a lot of room for imagination and to fantasise.

'Plus, all the action stuff's really fun. Somehow, everyone looks smart and cool in their costumes.'

The Four will premiere on StarHub Demand TV in April.

You can't blame the actress for feeling high-spirited.

Ever since she took home the winner's crown for Miss Hong Kong 2004 (she also won Miss Photogenic and Miss International Goodwill at the same pageant), things have only got better for her.

In 2007, at the TVB Annual Awards Ceremony, Kate was awarded Most Improved Actress for her stellar portrayals of a tomboy rookie cop and a strong career-minded woman in police drama On The First Beat and the dance-themed Steps respectively.

She also received recognition for her acting on the big screen.

At the 27th Hong Kong Film Awards in April last year, she bagged Best New Artist for her supporting role in the crime thriller, Eye In The Sky.

It was an emotionally charged performance where she showed she could hold her own opposite cinema heavyweights Tony Leung Ka-Fai and Simon Yam.

New challenge

This year looks set to be an even more challenging one for Kate, as she prepares to venture into an all-new territory - singing.

'It's very stressful,' she admitted candidly.

'Unlike acting, which places importance on teamwork and interaction with your co-stars, singing is all about oneself; one person in the recording studio, one person onstage facing the audience.'

Her debut album is slated for release later in the year.

'My dream would be to act and sing in a musical someday. I've been a huge fan of musicals since young,' she said, her eyes lighting up instantly.

Like a true fan of musicals, she keeps a hefty, growing collection of musicals on box sets and DVDs.

Finally, perhaps in a bid to remind us of her youthfulness and vitality, she told us that she is happily single at the moment.

'I'm in no rush to settle down at all. I still feel like a child who wants to jump around,' she said.

'I still want to enjoy my freedom, travel and explore the world.'

Kate Tsui brought chocolates for herself on Valentine's Day

Yesterday Matthew Ko and Kate Tsui attended "Great Wall of Deaf" event at the hospital. They were on stage communicating to the deaf individuals using sign language. Matthew felt that deaf and dumb individuals are very smart, even if he signed the wrong words, they would still understand him. As for this year's Valentine's Day, he spent it with friends and family. Although he never had a girlfriend before, but earlier he met a female who owned a flower shop, was able to buy flowers at a discount and therefore he brought 10 different flowers to give to different friends outside of the industry, which Reporters used to tease him. Asked if he was afraid that the other party will misunderstand to think that he's courting them? He smiled: "So I didn't give them to friends from the entertainment circle, also I know my friends very well, not afraid of misunderstandings."

Regarding to Francois Hyunh's girlfriend being said by her father that she has a lot of boyfriends, asked if he would advise Francois to be more careful? He said: "He is still young, so he likes to focus on love, if it was me, if I liked a girl, I wouldn't mind her past unless she as a lot of boyfriends presently. (Are you supporting Francois?) I will support him, his pictures are very sweet!"

Kate Tsui brought chocolates for herself

As Valentine's Day just passed, Kate smiled and said that she had no invites, so she stayed at home to listen to music and read books. Asked if she wasn't active enough to set up a meeting with the opposite sex? She smiled: "My friends are all already at that age, either they are married or already has a girlfriend. Because I wanted to make myself happy, I spent like a few hundreds dollars on chocolates for myself to eat, but the brand was expensive and not good." She also said that last year she tried to give flowers to others. Asked if she hopes to recieve flowers? She smiled: "When I meet someone that I'm compatible with then I'll think about it."

Linda Chung & Kate Tsui records TVB new show on Investments

Yesterday Carol Cheng, Nancy Sit, Kate Tsui and Michael Tse were recording for TVB's new show (財智達人). SFC and TVB both collaborated to produce this show. The purpose of the show is to inform viewers more about sales and investment activities.

Nancy has some knowledge towards stocks, but she is not addicted to buying them because there are great risks and is time consuming. As to the financial crisis affects the world and many people were 'injured' by the crisis, asked if she would share her experiences during recording? She frankly said that she won't, but she has learned a lot through the show.

Linda Chung and Steven Ma also doesn't have any knowledge on investments. Linda gives all her earnings to her mom back in Vancouver to invest for her. As her mom would be cautious on what she is investing and also with her savings. Steven has regular savings at home, but he once experienced buying stocks twice because one of the TVB executives gave him some tips, so both times he did earn some profits. But since then, he has not brought any. He said: "I'm very afraid of risks, so I feel that placing my money on properties is a better choice than buying stocks because its more secured." As to Steven and his manager's court affairs, Steven stresses that he is just doing what he has to do. He also has not contacted his former manager for 5 years, asked if he won't be friends with him anymore? He said: "Afterall, we had collaborated bfore, I do hope that there won't be any problems later, this incident was just to protect myself and I'm very passive."

Actually Kate impressed me in the 1st time I listened to the song (better than I thought). She should use this type of music. Hip hop is fit her so far. The song sounds well. With a hot dance, the song will have more feeling.

Entering music industry, Kate Tsui feels pressure singing Live

Kate Tsui held a press conference on Monday for a promotion of her entering the music industry. Yesterday she arrived at CRHK radio station to promote for her new song "Read Heart Technique". She revealed that the song has two MVs, the TVB version is filmed with Matthew Ko, while the MV from her record company is with a group of dancers. In the MV, Kate reveals herself in a bra top, short shirt and short shorts. She also posed in a very feminine way, causing her to be quite embarrassed. Kate said: "MV was shot in the show room, the floor was very slippery and also I was wearing 4 inch heels, so I would often slip and fall. The director wanted me to pose on the front side of the car, I immediately took my hand away from the car because the car was worth nearly $1.8 million. I was afraid I might scratch it and won't have enough money for the damages." Although Kate sings and dance, but it turns out that its very difficult. Also the director wanted her to pose in a very feminine way, making her very embarrassed. Even if she knew all the crew members there, but she still felt embarrassed, fortunately she had enough time to warm up.

On Monday during the press conference, Kate performed her new song live, afterwards she had to go to "JSG", she frankly said that she was very nervous. Asked if it was Theresa Fu that made her nervous? Kate said: "There were many people who told me to be careful. Also Theresa has experience, I am a newcomer, so I am even more nervous. I plan to ask Myolie Wu and Bosco Wong to teach me how to do live singing. In these days, I spend my time practicing, even when I'm taking a shower I will take the shower head and pretend its the microphone. (Are you really pressured?) Pressure is a form of driving force. (When you participated in Miss Hong Kong, did you experience this pressure?) Being a singer because when I was in the Miss Hong Kong, I didn't know anything, but the focus point in singing is on the person's own body."

Kate Tsui will see what response she gets, no limits in sexiness

Kate Tsui's Debut MV (Credits: Joycehiuwai)

Yesterday Kate Tsui held her "Kiss Me Party" new single conference. Music company Asia Vigour Entertainment Limited manager Cheung Dak Guai gave her crystal boots implying that her music career will be Glamorous. TVB executive's Virginia Lok and Ho Lai Chuen, as well as radio station executives also attended. Kate demonstrated signing a cheque without any digits on it meaning she will give herself to to the music company. Kate performed her new single "讀心術" with 4 dancers. she wore a low cut dress and wasn't afraid of exposing herself.

Her outfit was not as revealing as her MV

The reporter asked why she performed her song live for the first time in a less revealing outfit compared to her MV? She appeared surprised and said "...... It is quite less already, it is quite dangerous to appear too sexy while performing live. When you're filming a MV and expose yourself you can cut those scenes. Wait till I adapt to it first, I can reconsider it." She also stated that dancing can make someone's body figure more prominent and feminine. She will choose to wear more sexy outfits.

Not afraid to be compared to other Fadan's

Kate felt more pressure being a singer than when she competed in Miss Hong Kong. For this performance she lost her appetite however dancing is major exercise and she was able to sleep very well. Yesterday she also suffered from torticollis caused by sleeping and couldn't move her neck to the left side. The reporter asked if she was worried being compared to Myolie Wu and Linda Chung as they have released albums? Kate considers that being compared to is normal. But TVB have arranged them to follow different image paths. Myolie is a rock chick and Linda Chung is a jade girl. As for herself she is a dancing singer.

Kate's dancing was superb during the miss hk. She actually looks good with raymond. I think kate still needs improvement in her acting.

The MV just not dig enough Kate's dancing skill. It's... too normal. She can dance better than that.

Kate Tsui Films MV in Bikini and Hot Pants

The day before, Kate Tsui filmed a music video for her title track, 《讀心術》in her upcoming album. Kate put on a sexy bikini top and hot pants, dancing on her feet for more than eight hours.

Although very tired, Kate did not mind re-filming several dance sequences to meet the Director’s requirements. In addition to dancing alongside eight male and female dancers, Kate had to pose in a variety of sultry ways to showcase her femininity.

Kate’s costume was designed to show off her feminine curves. Kate laughed, "When I first saw the costume, I thought it was very sexy. But the Director wanted to emphasize my feminine side, thus I will not mind the sexy outfit as long as the outcome is good."

Filming a music video for the first time, Kate admitted the difficulties. "Since the outfit is so revealing, I have to make sure there is no indecent exposure while trying to remember the correct dance moves. At the same time, I had to convey the proper expressions onscreen, thus I found it quite difficult."

Yesterday evening Kate Tsui wore a wedding gown and filmed outdoor location scenes in Prince Edward Rd with Wong Cho Lam for new movie "矮仔多情". Kate laughed and said they were remaking a scene from the movie "天若有情" (A Moment of Romance) riding on motorbikes and doing a classic escaping scene while wearing a wedding gown. It was quite hilarious. Although Kate wore trainers for the running scene, she had to piggy back Wong Cho lam at the same time therefore she appeared out of breath.

The reporter asked Wong Cho Lam why he wasn't a gentleman and needed Kate to piggy back him. He explained "We just wanted to make it funny. I am small and weigh very light. Kate giving me a piggy back is more appropriate. " (Were you afraid you may touch sensitive areas?) "No, most of the time I was looking in front therefore I wasn't scared. I am very grateful that my debut wedding scene is with pretty Kate." Kate joked that she has a hard life "Previously I had to piggy back Kenneth Ma, it was very tiring. Wong Cho Lam is not very heavy."
