I just finished this series yesterday and I was wondering how you guys think about this series? Rate this series with 5 being the highest and of course 1 being the lowest. For me I owuld give this series a 4.95. I know it's sort of funny of how I rated it. I mean the series was very good overall, it was very anticipating. I liked the stories of how the thieves and cops are good and it seems like people likes the cops more (in my opinion). Why I ddin't give this series full marks, was because I think Johnson and Damain shouldn't have died in this series. I mean if they didn't die, the series ending would be the same, maybe even happier. If they didn't die, then Sharon would have a husband and they would be back together and handling their software business together. And if Damain didn't die, then he and Idy and along with Idy's son would be living happily together and would be handling their own business. It was so sad how they both died after the many good things they did. I mean they are thieves, but they aren'ts just stealing for themselves and plus the money they steal is from bad people. Since my rating is sort of in between a 5 and a 4, I would rate this series as an awesome. I really liked this series because of the theme thieves vs. cops and how the thieves are the robin hood stealing for the poor. Overall the series was very good and very suspenseful.

But one thing I have to point out is that I sort of pity Evergreen's father. I think she shouldn't have went to jail. I mean he's so old and plus over the years he has donated a lot of people to help the poor to balance out of how he caused Damain's parent's deaths.

Point deducted for Idy's acting in the 1st few episodes..( but she finally picks up quite well as the series go along. )
The original ending it's so stupid.......Jack was shot by an unknown policeman on the spot! Really a bad ending to me!

5 stars! Catch Me Now is one of my favourites so far this year. The series is very suspenseful and the thieves are so smart. like hlac already said, Jack is awesome!
Although I was really sad that Jack and BT died, I think BT's death was necessary for Jack's revenge on Evergreen, otherwise, it probably would have just ended with Jack moving to NZ with Yung Yung - the ending would have been too happy for my liking. I think I prefer Jack dieing than him having to spend years and years in jail - if that makes sense. I kinda feel sorry for Evergreen even though he was so evil, because all he wanted was his dad's love so his mind became twisted.

I give it a 5! It has been long since i last watched a TVB series, and this one did not disappoint me! Although the ending wasn't what i expected, but i guess the "special ending" made up for it. The whole plot was good and the blending in of humour was appropriate I love how they pre plan everything so well

i was a little disapointed with the original ending, but with the alt. ending i give it a 5 what an awesome series, ocean eleven style.

i will give this series 9 out of 10 its really interesting to watch it at the beginning of the series.

OFFICIALLY the best series I've seen in 2008 (Well, from TVB, the best one I've seen for more than 2008... Possibly almost a year?!)

The cast did such a great job; and I love the story in here, it fits very well and it wasn't at all the typical TVB story; WHICH I GREW BORED OF, thanks goodness for a refreshing script!

The score: 4.35 (I don't score very high... On average, it'll be 2.3 to 3.1, a 4.35 is already good!)

I don't really feel like diagnosing my scoring methods, but lets just say. ITS A VERY GOOD SERIES! Fun and upbeat!

Im totally giving it a 5! I love this series and i think it is by far the best one in 2008 (yesh, even better than FH2 even tho i love bobby as well). THe reason is because this is a new theme and the cast were just fantastic! I kinda like how the series ended... it is unfortunate that BT and Jack had to die, but i think with Jack dying in the end, it pretty much wraps up the game that he started with Joe in the beginning and signifies that he was a winner because he was never caught by Joe.

I definitely give it a 4.5

The series was jam packed with action and witty plots from both sides which made me sit on the edge of my seat with suspense. I simply loved it. The only part I'd complain about is the unexpected end which really made me kinda "WHAT?" and it wasn't exactly what I wanted it to be. But overall, with the hacker, demolition man, crazy racer dood, hot sniper chick, and of course, the boss -- it makes it muchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh more fun to watch =D

i give it a 4.5. the series is exiting at certain parts and other ones are a bit boring. i really like the action scene or scheme that they did with each different characters. the ending is bad though b/c it's a copycat from some movie...alternate ending was better, but why make alternate ending at all if the script was written one way. tvb should've just picked one ending and go with it.

I will give it 4 but if Damian wun die at the end than I will give to 5. This series overall was great and really intereresting, the story and the cast was really different with other series and at least TVB can come out with good storyline and good idea.

so far i am in love with it so i was so sad when i ran out of episodes. i do rental vids. but its not yet 5 cuz there are some things that make me annoyed so i started fast forwarding.
but overall its such a fun drama to watch and i really enjoyed it.

I give Damian a 5 but the series a 4.5 and the producers a -3,285,739,857,348,535,873. I don't know why but they tend to make the main character die at the end to make it more "memorable" but all that does is make people angry. And I was starting to fall in love with Jack too. Why do they always get rid of the guy that has the whole package????????? Now I don't even want to finish the series but I have to because of Jack.

I give this show a five. I agree with the post before it is one of the best series of 2008. Wish BT didn't die though and with BT alive to make a sequel. It was such a fun show but I don't like how tvb has to make the ending so moralistic. Bad guy or thieves will never win good guys or cops. I really enjoy the parts when the thieves win the cops because they got skills and are smarter.

different from other TVB series, characters were sooo cool, and it was good beginning to end, usually tvb series loose their spark half through the series

I agree too. TVB does have a tendency to make the ending(s) moralistic. CMN is a VERY good series to me but the ending is rather disappointing. There are plenty of movies and series that goes against the norm-why don't they make the main characters die in those?

And if it's really the bad guys against the good guys, that contains some misjudgment because in those "good" guys, there are such a thing as a corrupt person in that group of "good" guys. I don't know if this makes sense but that's what I think about it.

I rate this 5. Hopefully they got coming catch me now II. This is amazing storyline. When i start Catch Me Now since the 1st episode i can never stop. It is too addictive.

i rate this series a 5, its a very good series with the hot shooter and very mindful which makes the audience thinks which makes it a very interesting and very good series. The only downside i can think of is the ending, there was two ending and i prefer the optional one where the mastermind didnt die.

I would give this a 4/5, overall I did not expect much from this series, but after watching the first few ep, it kinda of blew me away. Very different for recent TVB series. It was interesting watching them perform the robbery.

3.5...the series was good, but I felt the last episode was so packed in and the last Kong Yeung vs. Ko Chit involving the magician was so unimaginative! That's it? It was just a gunfight, nothing like the previous missions that had so much more.

Omg this is one of the best series ever! Funny and the story kept moving with so many twists and turns! FIVE for sure. But my heart broke when BT and Jack died

I think this is one of the very few good series TVB has managed this year and I will give it
a 4.5 star! I think it is entertaining with the interwining relationship and plots.

I think it's original in TVB history. Thumb up! Hope to see a sequel to this too!

Actually I love the magician part although I didn't know what it said on the painting hanging inside the entrance door. Again, Damian looked so hot and calm and cool. I'd definitely buy the DVD.

I would say 3......This series is good, but I dont really like the ending. The actors were'nt the cutest either.

4.5. I would've given it a 5 but I just didn't feel satisfied with the ending. They did have an alternate ending but I don't like alternate endings. I really hoped Damien didn't have to die but go to jail instead.
But still a very, very good series. Seriously when I saw the cover I had no expectations for this series, I thought it was just a cat and mouse game between Damien and Joe but I was so wrong. It was more than that! I love the stealing Damien and his team does because their plan is so smart and exciting. When they're plotting against each other, so interesting. This series totally surprised me with it's amazingness. And I love the bluetooths they used.

i haven't completed watching the series but so far, i would rate the series 3.5/5. there's not much exiciting scenes in the beginning and juz mainly summarising the past events. i believe it will be more interesting as i continue =)

4 for me. Deducted because repetitive conflicts between Joe & Fala. It was getting on my nerves 'cause of her insecurity, etc. I know they're getting at something and creating conflicts, but it was just too repetitive, we got the point the first few times. Repeating it over and over doesn't make it memorable. It makes it more draggy. AND the most deduction comes from the first ending which Damian/ Jake died. It wouldn't be as half bad if they didn't make him got shot by some random security guard. It would be less disappointing if it was a showdown between Damian & Evergreen. (I sort of forgive them for killing BT 'cause it was actually tragic and memorable. But repeating the same thing again with Jake is just lame - and over-killed.)

I will give it a 5 if not for the stupid ending! How the hell do i suppose to accept that Damian is being shot by a completely unknown police man! (Hate him BTW). I'd rather him shot and go to the hospital nearly die but the doctor save his life and he goes to prison.. blah!
And then those scenes about Fala pregnant, oh then Fala not pregnant... and then Fala cheating, oh Fala not cheating.. WTH??? It makes me wants to just skip, skip, skip! And then those scenes with those cops.. also skip and skip.. hahaha... They are so not related to the fast pace of the series... and just lessen it's wonderful first impression.

Other than that, I'm head over heels for this series. I have it on DVD, and will definitely watch it over again sometime.

Damian Lau suddenly seems very studly now.
Idy Chan was alright, never struck me as a spectacular actress anyway.
I like how the functioning of the thieves was examined in the series. Complex, interesting stuff, you know?
