Summary:

A King in the cosmetics business Ko Cheuk Man (Lo Hoi Pang) is suddenly murdered and his son Ko Fung (Roger Kwok) vows to find the murderer of his father. Like a riddle, the investigation and problem-solving is winding and confusing like a fog, what is the truth behind the incident?

On the night of Man's murder, was the same night that Szeto San (Christine Ng) who had worked for the company for a long time found out that she was the secret love child of Man, she has had a sleep walking condition since she was young, so she suspects that it may have been herself who murdered Man, so the murderer could have been her?! Also, Fung and San find out that on that night, Man lost his sanity and wanted to rape Fung's cousin Chow Yi Tung (Annie Man), with a hearing disability since birth, she may have accidentally killed Man during her struggles, is she the murderer?! In the company is also an honest and hardworking good guy Cheung Hon Ming (Gilbert Lam), on the surface he is committed to his work, but secretly he is full of plots and in the past has set up a plot with his ex-girlfriend Lok Pui Pui (Halina Tam) in order to murder for riches, however they failed, could it be him that murdered Man to gain his all?! At this time, Ming dies suddenly! Fung also receives an anonymous letter revealing his true identity, putting another twist in the tale...

i hate this series..its so scary how HALINA turned herself into a man nd wen she was talking...it was so freaky!!

haha , i watched it at night .. it scared me becus of that scary statue that appeared and all the mysteries .. my mom thought i was crazy becuz she wasn't scared .. but anyways this series was good ! too bad on my tape they showed like half of the themevid becuz when i downloaded the themevid online i saw more parts to the themevid .. gay tvb store ;/

this series was too confusing. can some1 tell me who actually killed ko fung's father. There was the crazy man, sleep walking talkin girl and the other girl who aparently was gonna get raped by that old man.

the crazy guy was the one who actually killed the father...
if i remember correctly...the girl who said she was gonna get raped...her stepdad was the one who stabbed the father the first time.then he used her as a cover...well, actually using her to say she killed him because he was also kinda manipulating the character roger plays so that roger wouldn't point her out, because roger finds out later when she's trying to get rid of the evidence and also because roger was the one who caused her to be deaf when they were younger...and the sleep walking girl..she didn't have anything to do with the death..except that she was kinda sleep walking when it happened and so kinda saw what happened and heard the bell chime and stuff...the guy who stabbed the father the first time knew how to hypnotize people so he made her believe that she really killed the father...but the first stab didn't kill the father..later on..the crazy guy came in and finished the job...

the series wasn't bad at all...i actually liked it...

This is absolutely the GREATEST series that I have ever seen! Great plot. It has so many twists. Greed Mask is the only series that I have given a perfect 5 out of 5 to. It keeps you thinking, and it's so suspenseful. TGUIT was also suspenseful and was a great series, but overall, I liked Greed Mask more. It always gives you that creepy feeling when you watch it.

The Basic Plot
The plot of Greed Mask is way too complicated to summarize. It’s basically about two different mysterious cases that connect to each other. The first case deals with the relationship of Halina and Roger. This mini case introduces the characters’ personalities and their past. Soon after this case is solved, the series quickly jumps to the next case where there are many suspects. It’s almost impossible to guess who the murderer is.

This series must have been the best modern series I have ever seen. Absolutely the best mysteries. So many damn twists and teh ending makes you really freaked out. The actors really did well in this one. Two thumbs way up! 5/5 stars! I dunno, just very recommended. Don't watch it at night and alone though. If you want to watch it at night though, then watch it with a friend/sibling. Very freaky/great.

This series is really intersting, it made me cannot stop watching it, the story keep going and I just keep watching it for knowing what will happen next. I like most of the cases, except the last one, it somewhat weird and scary too.

it's so freaky when 3 ppl admitted that they are the same person and most of all they all wanted to commit suicide and wearing red cheong sam....

This series is so full of suspense, I couldn't stop watching! It would be a great IQ exercise to test yourself & your friends who's the true killer and the real identity of some of the characters. So don't read the spoilers before you watch this show. Also great acting from Roger Kwok and Wayne Lai. The only complain I have is that Christine Ng and Roger don't match, no chemistry at all. Can't stand Christine's acting. Also, Roger's hairstyle sucks. I don't think this show is that scary, but the background music adds to the suspense. This show is so fast pace with lots of twist and turns, you really have to think ahead of the plot to avoid getting scared. Overall, I would rate this show 9/10

First of all, I don't know why but everyone keeps telling it here that this series is "soooo scary." To be frank...it's not scary at all.

Second thing, this is really a good series. Every episode has its suspense. It's something really great to the storyline and script of TVB productions(for once). Applaud

If you watch it without missing a simple episode, you'll find that this series is not SCARY at all like mentioned...(i was cheated on that and when i saw it i was like, "Jeez like hell this is freaky.") and it's so simple to understand if you just keep your mind open. The complication in it is just made to confuse, it's predictable and easy understanding. In fact it doesn't requires much thinking at all.....

Good story, great series and great people in there too.

This is probably the first and only TVB show that i find interesting in every single episode. Well done!

oh man i loved this movie! one of my favorite dramas ever! i liked how they had a whole big mystry file case in the family! this drama actually got me thinking! over all very good! you cant miss it!

No offense to all who enjoy this series, but I personally think this series was one of the worst I have seen so far. They keep on trying to make the show more and more suspenseful but somehow because of all the suspense it killed the whole suspensefulness in it. The ending was kind of lame.... it drag and drag.....

Maybe because you weren't watching with an open mind........My aunties didn't enjoy this series either. They like to watch series that don't require brainwork.......They were like.....why this show drag with so much twists and turns.......quick tell me who's the killer......we don't want to think.......And I was like....hey just shut up and go watch something else, don't spoil my mood, I'm trying to solve the mystery OK?!! Oh I like the ending alot! Wayne Lai's acting is brilliant!

SOme people said this series have more twists than plots development. I'm scratching my head off now. Why TVB still hasn't air this series in HK. Maybe they're afraid it might not receive well in HK. By the way, the ending is very terrible. Not a good conclusion after all the suspense in the beginning to the middle half of the show.

This is indeed a great series. Not like there other series (not really, theres TUGIT, TOAL, etc. but yeah, its a series that will get good ratings. Maybe they don't want to scare that kids when its too late at nice. lol

This show is good.. worth watching.. suspense and keep u watching til end to know what happen... and I like the theme song by Andy Hui. I am not requesting but wonder anyone know where can I find the full version of the theme song. the sites given all only has half of it.. probably rip from the show.. Hope i am not violating the rules here... hehehe

Greed Mask is alot better than some of the shows that have a chance to be aired, such as "Vigilant in the Mask", "A Handful of Love", "To Love with Regrets" (they are so bad IMO). I think Greed Mask doesn't have the luck......and politics within tvb play an important factor too. I dunno why some ppl don't like the ending.....I thought Wayne Lai's acting is excellent! I just didn't like the pairing of Roger and Christine at the end. If Roger goes with Annie, the ending would be much more optimistic.

Man this series is hella scary, my mom borrow it home and i stayed up watching it and it was hella scary. I keep on closing my eyes and hiding under the blanket. There is a lot of scary stuff in this series and that model girl turn into a guy at the end that was freaky because she lifted her clothes to let roger see that she is a woman that was nasty. I don't think this is a good series a lot of strange stuff happening.

I don't know if I'm the only one who thinks this but I think this series involve weird pairings in their age sense. Like Roger's father with the young mother. His aunt with Gilbert. And Roger himself with Christine. While the two former pairs are explained, it still seems weird to me to watch Roger with Christine.
Maybe Roger has a baby face but anyway, I didn't really like Christine's character in the series. I would prefer Roger ending up with Annie. She is sweet and nice.

This series beats all mystery / detective series out there. The murderers on each case arent obvious at all, you cant really tell straight away who the killer is, really exciting.

This is one of the better suspense series (chinese) I've seen in years. But if you want more suspense, you have to watch American series.

when i watched d first epi, i tot it was a ghost show. wanted to stop but luckily i popped in another cd. turned out to b great! finished d whole series in 4 days tho it was during my exam period!! muahahaha.....

This series scared me to the days :x Especially that part Roger and his ex [the she-male ..] were talking in the room and she suddenly turned around and it was actually that guy's face - with the long hair and everything, that freaked me out so much lol >.< Eek.

I loved the series. Roger is very witty. My favorite part is when Roger pretended to be unhappy to trick Christine into eating a whole tub of ice-cream. His facial expression of innocence was so cute!

I think they tried to twist it too much until it's not very logical .In some cases everything is too coincidence. but overall it's still very entertaining

i was surprised to see roger and christine as a pair in this series....roger has a baby face and christine always looks older, as in more mature and sophisticated

watched this series a long time. it was a very good series. the cases were interesting and keeps you guessing.

When this series first came out, I wasn't really interested because the I didn't like the cast (except Roger). When it started showing on TV, I got hooked on the first episode. Like others have said, it's suspenseful with twists and turns in the plot. That keeps me watching. I think this was a really good series - it would have been cute if Roger was paired up with Annie.

I love this movie. Most of TVB movie, I could figure out what happen next. I have no fun when I could figure out what's the next scene. But this movie, I have no clue and the story kept changing when a new evidence appear. However, the female character is a little old compare to Roger forever un-age face.

i liked this series cos it's a refreshing change from the usual TVB fare. i liked the way they build up the suspense n the plot. but my only gripe is the pairing of roger n christine. christine looks really old compared to roger. they just don't look compatible as a couple.

Our cable channel showed this series a couple of months ago, generally this is a good series. It is full with mystery, suspense and thriller. Its something new with a mixture of family drama, romance and thriller. It makes you not to miss any episode, otherwise you will be lost. I did miss a few, I ended having to read episode guide to understand the whole story.

I enjoyed the non-predictable plot. Esp about pui-pui - it came as a shock which is good.

As for wahwah, the real culprit is the chirstine's uncle and pui pui who had undergone plastic surgery to look like ah Wai.. Its kinda illogical to have a girl that can change their voice...

this series is so mysterious.. and it scared me a bit. cuzz like everytime I thought the problem was solved, then another thing happens which is related to the first problem, and goes on and on until the last episode, which explains everything in the beginning. lol.. I've never watched a series like this before. it's really unpredictable. but overall, it's ok.

I got to say, this mystery story is nicely done....however, it does get a little bit tiresome when the same story is repeated over and over again, with only little alternation (which these alternations are critical in the story).

This series is very very well thought out. The person who came out with this story line is very imaginative. I cannot praise this plot enough.

The storyline makes sense until the end. It is impossible (you know what Imean if you watch it).
