How do you like the ending?

Just watched the ending. Glad it's a happy one and shows that bad people get what they deserve. Nothing spectacular about the ending but still like happy endings.

I think King deserved what he got and as much as he was evil I think the punishment was fair enough.

The ending scene was really hilarious!
Michael & Kiki were walking along the street but when Kiki saw that there's a stall having a sale! She immediately rushed there & started searching & turning all over the piles like mad fighting with all other "si lai"(housewives) in order to look for one that she liked. When she finished, Michael realised that the scarf she was wearing was gone. Kiki commented that for a cheap 20 dollars item, she lost
her scarf that was worth 200 dollars! What a lost! She quickly went back to look for her scarf!

How funny that Michael ended up the series by a little remark on Kiki, "once she's a "si lai", she will be a "si lai" for life!" Love it! Sooooooooo hilarious!

what happen to Joyce? I've read the spoilers but didn't mention anything about her.

^^^
Joyce finally realised that King Sir (Dominic) was using her! He cared for his money more than her! She sold her flat & used the money to help Michael & kiki to invest on shares & fight against Dominic. Uncle (the boss) also helped too as their back up!
It's funny that when she stayed in Kiki's house after selling the house, it happened that there was a shortage of water supply, everyone had to take a bucket or basin to get water from the water tape on the street. It's so hilarious that all the "si lai" including Joyce were wearing pyjamas queueing for the water! laugh.gif

In the end Joyce also forgave King Sir. She visited him in Jail and basically said that she'll wait for him to come out.

I think it was nice that it was a happy ending - the series wasnt brilliant but good entertainment nonetheless.

ending was ok. kinda a little sad for king toward the end when he had to lie to his dad.

I thought the ending was definately the best so far in 2008 for TVB series, and the series is as well (the best in 2008 so far for TVB). It wrapped up really well, without actually rushing it. The scheme by Joyce x Kiki was brillant.

I loved the ending scenes with Dominic, very well acted, scripted and done. His last scene with Kiki on the rooftop, I thought it was really meaningful when he questioned/realized that change actually wasn't the right path for him? Loved how the series throughout showed that Dominic loves his father and his brother. The last phone call to his dad and the clips he made for his dad was really touching. But I loved the scene with King and Tim..very very touching.

Fantastic job acting from the cast. Everyone was excellent, Kiki, Dominic, Joyce, Angela, Michael, Savio, and even Toby!

Yes I think the ending was the best of all recent Hong Kong dramas I've watched. The ending explained everything without leaving anything behind. Normally I get picky and start to come out with all kinds of questions to a drama, but for this series, I really can't find any to ask. Though, it made me really curious how will King Sir be accepted again after he got discharged. It's not rushed, very typical drama I've watched like old times. biggrin.gif

^^ definately agree that it's a better one compared to most, but there's someting about tvb dramas that makes them so predictable..

I loved the ending. It was predictable but really well thought out and happy biggrin.gif I love how they didn't rush it and extended the episode. I'm glad King Sir has learnt his lesson and Janet is willing to forgive him and I was so happy when I found out Toby gets to live with her son again. I love them two!

The ending to this series was pretty good. Dominic deserved what he should get in the end. Toby gets to live back with his son and father-in-law. Michael and Kiki are living happily with their children. But what I thought would have been better was that Toby and Ellesmere actually got together. It only said that Toby will go to Canada with them to visit Dominic (which we know that Dominic is already in jail). Joyce has a pretty good ending as well. But it never said anything about that spy that told Dominic the information.

i liked the ending. it was very complete and a happy one. nothing was not explained. the ending was kinda exciting too with all the scheming and stuff. However Dominic finally came to his senses and decided that he was wrong? now that was kinda quick. also it was very funny at the end when they were all fighting for a pair of tights! that was good.

happy ending!! hehehehes. nice to see king sir actaully does care about his dad!! The ending was funny too! hehehhees. si lai will always be a si lai. lmao.

I thought Dominic was going to jump off the building to take his own life. But I guess it's all
happy ending again so nothing unpredictable there, typical of TVB.

I agree with most people here that this is probably one of the best TVB endings. It's not as forced or rushed like most of its recent series. I must give it up to TVB for that.

foreverleila, I think she ran away or escaped or whatever since they would never let her live it down easily considering how she betrayed them when they thought she's on their side all along. (The reason I come to the concusion that she ran away is 'cause most of the characters in there who were paid to do King Sir's dirty work were either arrested or ran away with some money - like the doctor dude who faked the surgery for the kid.)

Aspire, I think it's like there's as part in the series where it mentions that people forget fast so maybe things will simmer down after they find something else to pick on or talk about, considering how he already paid a price.

i watched this after finishing endless love hoping for some laughs... but it was thoroughly dissapointed. It was like watching the chinese version of "causes of the american deppression"

happy ending and I didn't feel as if the ending was rushed like other series, really nice that everyone is happy and content with their lives, only complaint is Dominic fast change to a better person
