Matthew made his first appearance in epi.4......when Tong Tong (Kate) took Kai Yin (Kenneth) to the Community Centre for volunteer work.
He was the director/teacher of the play! He looked so hot as Chung Sir.....never imagine that such a young guy could direct the play!!! Even Kenneth said that he looked real smart!!!
It's the 1st time that he could impress me among so many roles that he had taken in the past!
He's so cute here! It's so funny that Kenneth thought that he had hearing disability as well so he just made comment on him thinking that he couldn't hear what he's saying!

thank you, thank you! They have Matthew in this. The more I see him in dramas, the more i think he's good looking (the best Mr.HK in my books).

It's only been a few eps so i can't really say if he's improved or not but time will tell. by the end of the series, I'll then comment.

I like it as well! but its so lame his script though! heheheheh this role gives a down to earthness about him but there is always something so cool about him like distant though? he cant really pull off the warm character i dont think so hehehe

Oh my goodness, poles apart from his role in FH2 (even though both roles are called Wilson too)! But it's sad that after Episode 5, no more of him! Actually he likes Tong Tong right? So why doesn't he go chase after her?! I think I like Kate with Matthew more than Kate-Kenneth.

But isn't Matthew had a girlfriend already like the one they met in the restaurant or sth? They said they knew each other for a long time & still keep the contact! It seemed Matthew is very fond of that girl & they talk so well & totally ignore Kate's existence??!!
Yeah, it's ashamed that Matthew suddenly disappeared from the series! Hope to see more of him with Kate! They are so lovely cute!

Oh, haha. I just realised his name was Wilson in this series as well as FHII. To be honest, I'm kind of confused with him, kate and kenneth at the moment, their relationships seem to be all over the place.

I like his character and his acting, yet I feel his character to be pointless. He was there for a a short while and then he's out of the whole picture until later in episode 13.

At first he told Kenneth that he did had some feeling for Kate, but after she left alone, he didn't contact or pursue her on.. why? I thought he said he like her x.o

Despite so, I still enjoy the scene with him in it, though I wish it was more.

I was thinking the same thing. They had him on for a while and then Tong Tong left alone whilst he was talking to his old friend (I'm assuming) and then nothing was said about him after that. o_O

Well, he appeared in Episode 13 and he's already attached to his old friend. But the way he looked at Tong Tong when OK Zai said that they were dating tells me that he still likes her. Oh well, maybe I'm just biased...haha...

Hmmm yeah, I agree with what you said about the way he looked at Tong Tong, he was also very caring when they went out that one time except for Tong Tong it was 'too caring'. His character in this series is very confusing to me, he kinda just appeared and then disappeared and then dropped in again for like five seconds. I'm up to episode 18, I'm guessing he doesn't make any more appearances? o_O

When I first read the title of this topic I at first thought Matthew was going to be a police officer in this series. I thought Matthew in his character was pretty good too. Who is he going to end up with? I have a question: when Matthew and Kate went out to watch a movie and go out an eat (I know it was Kenneth's idea), but did Matthew really want to go out with Kate and did he actually have some feelings for her?

He does actually have feelings for her but I guess he doesn't know how to handle the situation and is hesitant hence leading to Kenneth being all smart and helped out, causing both parties to feel even more awkward.
