OOoh, so they'll get married soon? Wow, that's cool. They look so adorable together in All In. I didn't know they're a couple. So they just started going out after filming for All In? All In is the first Korean serie I watched, and i like it very much. Lee Byung Hun is such a great actor. Plus, he's super hot.

Well if you haven't watch ALL IN yet, you should rent it because it's worth watching. That's the only korean series i like so far. I'm sure you like All In after you watch it. You'll probably like Lee Byung Hun even more because he was so cute and hot in there, so is his girlfriend.

Yeah, I want to rent it but I don't know where to rent it. I used to be in Manila & I heard that it will be shown there sometime this June. Maybe I'll try some korean stores here in LA where to rent that series

Lee Byung Hun and Song Hae Kyo, who have become an official couple for the drama "All In," have now broken up. Having met as the leading characters in the extremely popular drama "All In", the two became lovers in real life through the beautiful meeting opportunity that destiny had given them, and soon blossomed into a couple envied and watched by everyone.

The couple Lee Byung Hun and Song Hye Gyo attended Photographer Cho Seon Hee's wedding in late May as lovers for the last time.

Lee Byung Hun, who is on an extremely hectic schedule of filming movies ("Three Monster" - Director Park Chan Wook, "Everyone has a Secret" - Director Chang Hyun Soo) and in the spotlight as the main actor initiating the Korean wave currently heating up in Japan and Southeast Asia, and Song Hye Kyo, who is busy filming the drama "Full House," have agreed that it would be better for them to remain as "Senior and Junior" as they felt that they are each too busy with their respective work schedules to be able to give the same amount of commitment to their relationship that they had been able to give intially. However, the actual reason has got to be the recent rumors about Lee Byung Hun and Song Hye Kyo's upcoming wedding and how they each had different views towards marriage.

Neverthess, the couple Lee Byung Hun and Song Hye Kyo, the target of much speculation and media publicity, had began to confirm in April that they have both agreed that the love they shared for a year would now remain as just the good relationship shared between a senior (LBH) and a junior (SHK).

Currently LBH is in the midst of filming the movie "Everyone has a Secret" on June 11, and left for Japan on June 14 to attend a meeting regarding production with Fuji TV Documentary and also to discuss the distribution agreement regarding his commemorative album "To Me" with Daichiku Records. Song Hye Kyo too has been busy with the filming of the drama "Full House" and is said to be so busy that she does not have time to think about anything else.

I had thought through deeply over SHK's standpoint and in consideration for her future, I took this painful decision to break up.

I apologised to all the well wishes & friends whom had encouraged our relationship but it didn't turn out the way it was expected.

After the release of the break up statement from YY agency, SHK was left alone to handle the media harassment, while I was away in Japan for business, to him was a serious matter. ( He meant as a man, he should be bearing the responsibity instead and also showing his protectiveness for her)

The breakup of a relationship is not centred on just one or two reasons, but different views of marriage and timing being one of the reasons and the sacrifice that comes along with it. The major reason is her career advancement. ( He being a more experience artist himself, understand what extend of great sacrifice SHK will have to face.)

He went on to compliment Song Hye Kyo Si on her great potential in acting and wishes her well. ( He had already addressed SHK formally now instead of Hye Kyo). At this point, he paused for awhile to recompose himself.

Well, for the time being, he decided to concentrate more in making movies. So i don't think he will has any drama project as his schedule is full till next year.

I watched everyone has secrets.. He's such a pimp diddy.. he's so hot and so irresitable! Is funny how he was so calm and cool througout the movie and he barely talks and just smiles and he can get the girls just like htat. Easy job for him

i really like him, his getting handsome everytime i watch him, his charisma is so hot. i saw his interview in showbiz extra, the broke with her gf, it said that after 6 years they separate ways. i'm so sad about that because they really look good together.

Oh my gosh! I love this guy! Started liking him from All In. He was soooo charismatic in there in a suit and the sunglasses. At first, I thought he was plain looking but after watching that drama, I love him! He's soo kute and his acting skill is good. Him and Song Hye Kyo make a good couple. Too bad they broke up.They match very well.

'A Bittersweet Life' - the Beginner's Guide

Some 450 reporters flocked to a promotional press conference for Lee Byung-hun's film "Bittersweet Life" on Thursday - evidence that the Korean Wave continues unabated in the island country despite strained relations between the neighbors. There were 150 cameramen alone on the roof of the Shinjuku branch of the Isetan department store, in fierce competition to capture Lee's slightest moves for posterity.
The Japanese press including the Sankei Shimbun and Nikkan Sports ran detailed reports of the press conference in their Friday editions as curiosity about "Byonsama" reached fever pitch.

Lee, dapper in a black suit and tie, said, "'Bittersweet Life' is an important work for me as an actor. I feel very strongly about it." He charmed the Japanese press with his sense of humor as he discussed various episodes that occurred during the shooting of the film.

"When we shot the scene where I put the sugar in the espresso, the first two takes didn't turn out well,” Lee said to polite laughter. “So director Kim Ji-woon tried dropping the sugar in himself, but he still didn't like it, so I ended up trying it once again. In the final cut, however, it's the director's hand that you see. It seemed he really wanted to get into the film."

Lee also appeared live on TBS and will return to Korea after an interview with Fuji TV on Sunday. "Bittersweet Life" will debut in Japan at the end of the month, and Lee is well on his way to becoming a household name. About 100 bodyguards were mobilized for the actor’s arrival at Narita Airport, and tickets to the preview of his film were selling for W400,000 (US$400) on Internet auction sites -- a popularity exceeding that of even Hollywood stars.

¡°Hallyu¡± stars Lee Byung-heon and Choi Ji-woo created a stir in Japan by arriving in the country in quick succession within 10 minutes of each other. On May 6, the sports daily Sports Nippon wrote that Lee and Choi arrived at Narita International Airport on May 5 from Los Angeles and New York, respectively, within a 10-minute difference.

Sports Nippon also wrote that some 600 fans, including 20 people who had waited for their favorite actors all night long, greeted Lee and Choi at the airport.

Lee and Choi arrived in Japan to participate in the finale of the ¡°Beautiful Days¡± concert on May 6 and 7 at the Tokyo International Forum. When the two appeared in the airport lobby, their fans screamed with joy, said Sports Nippon.

Another sports daily, Sports Hochi, wrote that Lee and Choi were originally planning to leave the airport via the VIP exit to avoid any disturbance, but later decided to pass through the lobby in accordance with their fans¡¯ wishes.

"Choi Ji-woo, who was wearing a big brown scarf, a white coat, jeans and sunglasses and carrying a blue bag, waved to her fans," wrote Sports Hochi.

No Japanese Stamp for Lee Byung-hun

Actor Lee Byung-hun yesterday denied news reports that a postal stamp bearing his image would be printed in Japan.

"It's not true that a Lee Byung-hun stamp would come out", Song Wan-mo, representative of Player Entertainment, Lee's management company, told Yonhap News Agency.

Daily Sports of Japan reported May 5 that the stamp would be made available on May 15. Player Entertainment has made a formal protest to the Japanese daily for its incorrect reporting, Song said.

Largest American Agency Calls Lee Byung-heon ¡°Asian James Dean¡±



Hallyu star Lee Byung-heon is set to make inroads into Hollywood. Recently, the largest U.S. talent agency, CAA, has praised the actor for his role in the movie ¡°A Bittersweet Life,¡± calling him ¡°the Asian James Dean."

Hwang Jung-wook, CEO of the local agency, Web, said in an interview on June 15 that Lee, who is managed by Player Entertainment, will advance into the Hollywood market in full gear after one year of preparatory positioning. ¡°Unlike other Asian actors, he will not play sinister or comic roles in Hollywood, but will establish his presence there in a completely different way," said Hwang.

Hwang said the actor had already laid a solid foundation for advancing into Hollywood back in May at Cannes when he met with CAA representatives. Next week, some 400 CAA agents will watch ¡°A Bittersweet Life,¡± said Hwang.

CAA is the largest Hollywood agency, managing high-caliber stars such as Tom Cruise, Julia Roberts, Brad Pitt, Hugh Grant, Gwyneth Paltrow, Cameron Diaz and Nicole Kidman, as well as famous movie directors like Stephen Spielberg and Jerry Bruckheimer.

According to Hwang, a CAA agent named Jenny Rollings was impressed by ¡°A Bittersweet Life¡± when she visited Cannes, France during the latest film festival. At a conference that was held the following day which was attended by Lee and Web representatives, Rollings said Lee had enough potential to make a successful debut in Hollywood, and called him ¡°the Asian James Dean."

Top Movie Actors Hold Charity Bazaar to benefit Independent Films



Top movie actors including Lee Byung-heon, Choi Min-shik, Jang Jin-young, Kim Hye-soo and Lim Chang-jeong will hold a charity bazaar entitled ¡°MGFF Market¡± to raise funds for independent films. The bazaar will be held concurrently with the 5th Mise-en-scene¡¯s Genres Film Festival, which kicks off June 23 at 6 p.m. at the CGV Yongsan in Seoul. The actors who are organizing the event were invited to the festival as its jurors.

The MGFF Market will offer customers the DVDs of movies that have been invited to compete at the festival as well as the private possessions of film directors and famous movie actors. All the proceeds from the event will be donated to promoting independent films.

Lee Byung-heon has donated his antique camera that he purchased at a flea market in Russia in 1998, while Jang Jin-young donated her leather coat and sunglasses. Other actors made significant donations from their possessions as well. The market will be held until June 24 in front of the CGV Yongsan¡¯s ticket office on the sixth floor.

At the previous Mise-en-scene¡¯s Genres Film Festival, Lee Byung-heon was appointed as honorary juror of action and thriller films, Jang Jin-young of melodrama films, Choi Min-shik of social drama films, Kim Hye-soo of horror and fantasy films, and Lim Chang-jeong of comedy films.

i just watched himin all in and beautiful days...and in both he was soo cute..my gosh but i guess i prefered him in beautiful days because of his character...so stubborn and cool but then how he fell for her..that was cute. but i still prefer him with song hae kyo

NHK documentary about Lee Byung-heon draws 12 million viewers

A recent NHK documentary about hallyu star Lee Byung-heon riveted more than 12 million Japanese viewers to their TV sets, recording viewer ratings of 9 percent. Entitled ¡°All About Actor Lee Byung-heon,¡± this special documentary aired Aug. 6 on NHK. The first part of the program was shown from 10:40 PM for 15 minutes, and was followed by the series ¡°All In,¡± starring Lee. The second part, lasting 45 minutes, aired later that night at 11:50 PM.

NHK is considering rerunning the show, as the broadcaster has been flooded with requests for reruns since the show went on the air.

NHK devoted more than four months to producing the program, which describes the actor¡¯s life in an unusual way.
