^It's true many girls & women have this kind of obsession.
I'm a female, but I personally don't understand what is so "addictive" about shoes & bags, I actually hate shoes, especially those high heels, they're such a pain and so uncomfortable to wear! I just don't understand why so many girls & women are so obsessed with them and actually spending their money collecting them, I think it's just a waste of money really. Some women even spend hundreds of dollars on just 1 pair of high heels!
I'm the sort who would rather go around barefoot, or at most, wear a pair of thongs/flip flops around the house and out in public, now that's comfortable!

If I'm going out shopping with friends or go out having fun, I just wear my runners, that's very comfy too! Otherwise, if I'm just going out to the local shops to do some shopping, I just wear my thongs/flip flops.
I think to date, I only have 2 pairs of proper and more practical shoes, those runners which I wear regularly. I do have about 2/3 pairs of high heels, but I didn't buy them myself, they were gifts from friends, I rarely wear them though...most of the time, they're stacked in the corner of the laundry room!
As for bags...not into them either...although I do like wallets, but nah, I don't collect them.
I have to admit, I'm a bit of a tomboy. And comfort over glamour, that's me!

I'm not into the whole make up, glamour and getting dolled up business...normally I just wear clothes which are comfortable, don't care if they're plain and what not, and I normally don't like wearing makeup...maybe just some lip gloss, but that's it. Sometimes I even dress like a tomboy, and I rarely wear skirts or dresses, mainly just jeans with a shirt...or a fancy top (but not the "girly" styles), depends on the occasion and what I'll be doing. I think my sense of fashion blends in better with the guys than the girls! lol!
So I definitely don't have any obsessions with girly fashions either...I always settle for comfort, sometimes plain and simple.
