A gemini born in 1986, has the middle-low vocal part of the group. Along with Xiah, he is the middle voice of the group. Is an important figure that brightens up the mood and atmosphere with his funny personality. Perhaps he couldn't hide his talent even when he was little, for he won the highest award at the Korean/American Music Contest and the KBN Music Contest for young adults. Is very interested in composing and wrote over 100 songs, and the members personally like his song the best out of the ones the members composed. Joined the team last year and left his family in America, and he admits that he sometimes misses driving around Virginia. But he says that this moment, right now, is the happiest of his life.
Called as Junsu's Half, Yoochun is the perfect mate for playing and doing dorky things together. He, together with Junsu and his soulmate, Jaejoong, always find right time to doing dorky things, even in a serious event or concert. He really loves compose music, and produce many songs, collaborate with Jaejoong (Kiss Shita Mama, 3rd album) and Evergreen (3rd album) with Changmin, also his solo project : Runaway/My Girlfriend. i've not been catching up on dbsk lately, but is this really micky's latest hairstyle? It's all long and wavy he's even got it tied up into a ponytail. I prefer the short hair he had.

Sheila, wow! nice thread, right? we're panicking and yet we done it nice. finally, a new thread for our Yoochun. regarding Yoochun's drawing, sometimes he drew nice, i remember last december,they made a christmas card, his drawings is pretty good. i keep on waching their summer dream perf at music fair. coz they all look happy and Yoochun keep on smiling, showing his sweet smile, greasy stare. hahaha...

Have you seen the parody posted by Sheila? I was about to die from so much laughter haha. A couple of days ago, I was re-watching old videos of Chun and I actually discovered that he's also good with crafts. I came across with a video in which he had to work with pieces of wood and actually made a monkey. It was really well done and I just confirmed that our Chunnie is a very creative guy. Now, talking about other matters... If Chun were to compose a song, what style would you like it to be?

The pictures you posted got me daydreaming the whole day haha. I prefer Chun with short hair because he looks manlier and sexier, but seeing those pics now... He looks amazingly beautiful. I think whenever he grows his hair, he looks a bit more feminine, don't you think?
I am guessing that if it happens, it'd be an R&B song probably. I think he's more oriented to that style. Although I have to say that I was very surprised when he composed 'My girlfriend,' it was nice to see him composing a med-tempo song. Yeah, he's in love with his keyboard and he looks so sweet and hot playing the piano. Remember the Tonight MV? His voice and the piano make me melt away. Like I said before, Chunnie can be happy as long as he has Harang, a cup of coffee, and his keyboard; even the members said that he could survive on a deserted island lol. Just kidding...

Before anything else; about the facts you put at the beginning of the thread, I actually learned something new, that is that our Chunnie reads Full Metal Alchemist before concerts haha, it's my favorite anime XD.
Today I watched the Jaechun Golden Fishery episode with my mom and she kept on saying, omg is that Micky haha. Both, my mom n twin like the tone of his voice and they agree with me when I say that he looks like a decent guy hehe. By the way, didn't he look so good during that episode?? Starting from his hair, plus his beautiful collarbone, and finishing with the scene in which he opens his shirt. Him playing the piano, and then dressed with ancient Korean clothes... He's too good looking and good at acting. Now I really want to see DOE. T-T

actually i take interest in micky partly because of junsu. these 2 boys are always together so it's kind of hard not to notice micky if you notice junsu. and i keep rewatching the yoosu couple talk for their aadbsk2 since i bought it. it's 100bucks! i think it's cheaper on yesasia but ohwells. he's my 2nd favourite member in the group. Believe it or not, i think micky's rapping is sometimes better than his singing. Especially the low rap he did in summer dream his voice was way sexy. His voice really suits those slow ballads. It moves you. I've only come across micky's scans. it's b pass right?

I'm kinda sorry to say that I really didn't like Micky that much when I first started out liking DBSK!

even though I thought he was pretty much the ONLY normal looking guy in DBSK when they first debuted cause all the other 4 members had all these CRAZY & obnoxious hairstyles that seriously made me not like them.

welcome!(: ~~didn't know you hang around the kor ent threads. i ditched frh for suju,dbsk and other kor bands~~
anyway, what is micky's ranking out of the 5 boys? He's my 2nd favourite junsu is my 1st. Actually i think i'm quite like you. Initially i didn't know what's so special about micky being in dbsk. Before i actually got to know the boys, i heard that all 5 are talented in their own ways. The first time i saw micky, i didn't find him attractive, and since he didn't take part in the singing much, he didn't really have any impact on me. And then, i began to watch more variety shows and interviews of them, and it's micky's childlike innocence that attracted me. He just has this charisma in him, he's always smiling. I was shocked when i heard love in the ice live. It was the first time i saw the live video of them before that i merely heard it on my mp3, and micky's part after junsu's at the bridge section didn't seem as challenging. When he hit the high notes real good i was totally impressed! I thought he was a lousiest vocalist in dbsk initially as well, but then if i were to rank whose voice i like, it would be junsu, jaejoong and then micky. He has a really 'greasy' voice. So you like micky in his long hair? awww i prefer him in short hair! Have you heard a thousand year love song? Micky's voice is really nice there. The unique thing about his vocals that the other members don't have is the naturalness in the vibrato when micky sings! That's why his voice is awesome for ballads and slow emotional songs just like his solos. Did you hear 'my girlfriend' from his trick single?

I would have noticed that micky has a high forehead if not for those a nation pictures. They performed summer dream again? ~~I told you i can't keep up~~ mind posting the link? There aren't much fancams of micky i realised. That time after dream concert ended all i could find were jaehosu ones. I watched kmtv micky's mission impossible, it's so cool how he is close to the other member's mums as well. He must be lonely in korea. His parents are not in korea right? Luckily there's still su oppa there by his side. Are the boys official endorsers for Arena? They keep having Arena photoshoots. I only saw 3 scans from bpass, none from the photobook. ~~JUNSU TOPLESS!!!!!!!!!~~

Yes i appreciate chunnie more as i see more of their performances and interviews. Actually i think he's a great vocalist he has really great control with his vibrato it sounds so natural compared to all the other members! That's the uniqueness of his voice that the other members don't have. Plus i love his falsetto. It sounds very natural as well, the transition from his singing voice to the falsetto part. Not that the other members don't sound natural, but i find micky's transition one of the best. I was really impressed when he reached the high notes in love in the ice. It didn't seem that high just listening to the cd track compared to their live singing. Are there really that many anti fans? They're just loosing out on good stuff then! Susu is my fav, i totally support yoosu but no way am i saying that yoochun has affected pure susu. Yoochun didn't do anything wrong. Oh coconut tree! And i thought you were really comparing his wavy hair to the coconut-.- Well his long hair just reminds me of the really long hair he had during the OJBH days. I keep rewatching their old MVs these few days, bring backs really good memories. Yes micky really changes his hairstyle quite often but they're korean it's normal! They took the pictures at the grand canyon? I've not seen them. oh and micky is being featured? WOW. It shouldn't be a rumour, the source is rather reliable, something to look forward to!(:

Hello!! Yes, hopefully we can talk more about Chun; my twinnie is already tired of hearing me talk about him so it's good to have someone else besides him with whom to share my obsessive thoughts haha. True, Yoochun is so different to most men, who always act tough and all macho. I like how he can be manly but also cheeky and cheesy like a small kid haha. I love dorks since I am a dork myself.

I am sure a lot of people take him as a role model since he's such a good guy and his dorky-ness fills up the lives of 100s of people, don't you think?... When I am tired from studying and about to die out of tiredness I watch videos of his dorky moments and regain my energy... But we also have to talk about his deep thinking self, sometimes his words sound very mature. I think he's one of those guys who think really hard before blurting out something. He always seems to be thinking about something. =)

How come you haven't watched Golden Fishery with subs? I did watch it on YT with eng subs, you should totally check it out since it is very funny, especially Micky's NGs.

I just heard the news about Makai!! I am sooo looking forward to that collab since I like how Makai is so into nu jazz yay!!. I am 100% sure our Chunnie is gonna do a great job, no regrets!! I am sooo glad he invited Chun, I can't stop smiling. Plus, I bet he's gonna show off his English hehe.

He doesn't get to show off his voice individually very often, so this is a golden opportunity for those of us who like his deep, low, and husky voice.

I remember Chun said he wanted to try jazz a long time ago; so electronic jazz is not so far from that thought, I thought Chunnie would be glad to work with Makai. You seem to have lots of pictures of Yoochun lol, I usually say to myself: 'Ok, I'm gonna keep only the best pics I find,' but then I end up keeping them all haha.

Wow, that was a long name lol. Don't feel bad coz you didn't like Chun from the very beginning. I think the important thing is that you took the time to get to know him and to let him grow into you. I think our Chunnie is kind of like a Pandora's box. He's so full of talents and when I finally think I have seen all of his colors, I find out something new about him. The fact that Yoochun can show his tears and true emotions makes him a true man and not a random common guy. I've always been told that true artists can feel things in a different way and people may call them babos, but in fact their hearts and souls are purer and more sensitive than ours. Isn't that a lovely way to describe Chunnie T-T.
