OMG I'm kinda embarrassed now. If only I knew they would keep a copy for real, I'll put much much more effort in it! I hope it looked ok this year considering its a first. We'll have a much more organized version for 2010! So ppl, tune up your photoshop skills for 2010! We definitely need more designs and helpers!

This is exciting news, hopefully Tavia and Raymond will try to push TVB to let them have a proper collaboration now that they know there are so many hardcore Fungyi fans.

The calendar is meant for sharing between fans so I'm cool with people saving it, but I'll really appreciate it if you guys want to share to provide direct link to either the blog or the forum. That way, we can advertise the blog/forum a bit more and to also give credit to the people who worked on it.
But if original creator want to share their own design, that's fine. Just please don't upload the whole calendar (or design other than your own) at another forum that's not in the SimplyFungYi franchise lolz.

the problem with that is that many members from fungyi bbs are unable to read english; thus, it's hard for them to set up an account at simply fungyi to view the images (the calendar that is)...and vice versa...many members from here and from simply fungyi are unable to access fungyi bbs because they don't read chinese...I'll try to move things back and forth so everyone know about fungyi but i will definitely CREDIT

There's no text or anything too significant that needs to be translated, so even if the Calendar was posted at fungyibbs, it would only be for viewing. I don't see why there would be a problem linking directly to the post where the Calendar was updated at SimplyFungYi blog. Plus, other fungyi fans don't need to be literate in English, nor will they need an account to see it. That's what I'm dying to know also!! Did they ever communicate about it!! Cause when Jessie gave it to Tavia...there wasn't any mention (in her post) about Tavia being TOO surprised about it or of her seeming to have any knowledge of its existance beforehand...
I hope Fungyi can have some interaction on May 3rd, there's no Moses, Ron, or Bosco around this time so Raymond should take his chances this time with Tavia, hope there's no LINDA!!!!!!!!!!!

^You know...I find that ironic that after we just got the news from Jessie that Tavia had received our SFY calendar. Now, the interviewer asked this, rofl..I guess it's kind of..unexpected for me cause I don't expect the interviewer to mention Raymond (Moses..a bit more predicted cause of MR) out of the others, I guess. Haha..rofl...I want to know what the interviewer was expecting from her question?

I've been reading a lot of posts in this part 4. like back when Moonlight Resonance was airing and when there was FungYi scenes. 
I wish for a FungYi series .. like where both are main leads .. i guess it's all we wish from TVB here .. I'm just sick of .. err the other Ray pairing. 
It's like when we're hoping for a couple but they are never paired up even if they are good friends and have been in other series together .. I mean when everyone takes notice of the pairing but afterwards, they are never paired up .. lol i don't even know what i'm trying to say but yeah

I agree with Flora, can we please don't post the calendar elsewhere? Direct linking to the blog is fine for sharing. I'm sorry for sounding mean, but SF is like, the AF regular's hard-work and we want to promote it more with more fans visiting. I hope that is ok. I mean, its still sharing right? Just an extra step to view the blog? And it doesn't require login and you don't need to understand english to save the calendar from SF blog.

I don't think that Michelle was ever close to Tavia. I believe that she and Ray might've been FRIENDS before, but I don't think that they keep intouch much. because I remember last year (or the year before that), there was a fan-made news that made it to the papers in china about raymond and michelle supposedly "dating", but Raymond clarified that its not true and that its been a long while since they've contacted each other.

I really hope it is true that they will act in a drama together as a couple. Crossing my fingers and hope it is true and not one that has my hopes up high and then crush it.
I'm not showing any reaction YET because I'm too stunned. After being faithful to FungYi since GF, and haven't seen a pairing of them since TOB 2004, this news is a shock to my system. I think only if both FungYi confirms it I'll start to allow myself to believe it. And only to the confirmation of costume fitting will I be 100% hypo (over the moon).
So the calendar came in handy? If only they kept it, it'll remind them how many of us are supporting them. It might have been a 'new' gift, I mean which other couple fans will go to our extent (yes, it shows how much FungYi takes up of my life).

Joel has confirmed it in his official website, Raymond only confirmed he'll be filming a series in mid-June but didn't specify the cast. No news from Tavia yet.

so yeah i read the news at the raymond section too and basically it states that there's five choices for the male lead for this new drama some guy is producing. The producer wants to invite Raymond to play as the male lead. But because Raymond is busy filming with TVB right now, they have to wait until at least the end of May until there's time.
The article ending doesnt seem to make a lot of sense [to me] since they just end it with Raymond's busy till the end of May ... but they never mentioned Raymond even agreeing to film this drama LOL. It jumped from the producer wanting Raymond to play this role to Raymond is busy until end of May.
Anyway, Raymond isn't just busy until the end of May because he has a concert during Mid June so if they want to film that drama at that time, Raymond probably can't do it anyway cuz he'll be busy practicing. And Raymond has already said that he'll be filming in June, and I don't THINK he's referring to this one just cuz this one says end of May and such.
