We Got Married!

Four (originally) couples of celebrities are paired up and must live out the lives of newlyweds. They are given a mission each week and must fulfill it. In between scenes there are interviews with the participants asking questions about their day, as well as discussion about conflicts in the relationships. The actual date of recording the couples and the interviews are all prefilmed and the participants and MCs watch it all back. At the end, each side of the couple privately expresses thoughts and confessions that were not revealed to each other. Since it is a reality show, real emotions and feelings begin to develop between the couples.

I completely agree with everything you said. I just started to watch the show a couple days ago, and it's so addicting. My favorite couple is Andy & Solbi, as well. They are so funny, sweet, and loving towards each other. How can you NOT fall for them? The other couples are adorable too, like Alex & Shin Ae, they are so freakin' romantic (: Crown J & In Young, they're always bickering, but his surprises, oh my! Hyun Joong & Hwangbo, they make me laugh until my stomach hurts, or I fall out of my chair and literally roll around the floor.

For the people who haven't watched this show, go watch it now! It's one of the best shows you'll ever see. You get so many emotions when you watch it, happy, sad, angry, etc. It's really enjoyable, and you get to see the celebrities actually start to develop feelings for each other. It's really sweet (:

the newest episode was episode 21.....Shin Ae's and Hwang Bo's prank was hilarious!
Both Alex (the fingers) and Hyun Joong (the hidden cranes) were sooo sweet and romantic at the end! Andy and Solbi had little screen time, but they were so sweet together.... Hyun Don was so funny trying to stir up a fight between Crown J and Seo In Young ....

i think the next episode or two of WGM will be postpone due to the Olympics.....this makes me sad cuz it is something that i look forward to every week, but i guess it's time for me to catch up on my dramas...

i personally feel that Andy's cooking & caring + Crown J's surprises + Alex's sweetness & romance + Hyun Joong's cuteness & innocence = the characteristics of a perfect ideal husband

im currently watching this and i find it REALLY FUNNY although im only in episode 3.. but i love it! haha

so cool.. i really dont know the people in there except for Hyun Joong.. haha but i'd love to see more ) haha

i've become a big fan of this show, you just become so attached to a couple and find yourself waiting for the next episode to see how they interact, hope this show goes forever and forever

Q: If you were determined not to cast superstars, then why is Hyun Joong an exclusion?

Jeon Seong Ho PD: Is Hyun Joong a superstar? Just joking. SS501 and Hyun Joong were casted when we were filming 'Thank You For Waking Me Up'. I got to wake them (the idol stars) up for ten weeks. *laughs*

I got to know Hyun Joong better during that time, so when I was participating in WGM, I thought that he would be able to show himself naturally. Looking at that, I now think that it appears that superstars can do it too.

Q: But for how long is he going to remain so awkward? Although that is interesting as well.

Jeon Seong Ho PD: I have a friend who married an older woman as well. He is literally a kid groom but they are both living well. Hyun Joong is also in the middle of that. Those who are around his age would know his sincerity but it seems difficult for someone of Hwang Bu In's age to catch that.

Hyun Joong plays around with those he is close to and are of around the same age. Why is that even for us, when we were younger, it was difficult when we were around girls that we were interested in?

When I told Hwang Bo "This is Hyun Joong's heart (feelings) but you were unable to catch on" her reply was "Oh, so that was what it was?".

Later, when Hyun Joong meets someone he really loves, he'll be caught in the same headlock again.

Photographer Park Noh Bum has once again endeared himself to AlShin fans around the globe after he posted yet another never-seen-before photo of Alex and Shin Ae from their 100th Day wedding photoshoot. (lovely isn’t it?)

Many people talked about AlShin kiss scene and many tried to hide the kiss scene. AlShin fans requested Mr. Photographer to help reveal the truth at his minihomphy. But at that time, there were still some problems about the photo disclosure so he did not do that. Now it’s not a problem anymore so he posted it up suddenly to clarify that the kissing scene does indeed exist.

We Got Married To Be Pre-empt for Three Weeks in a Row?!

Update: According to the latest notice by the PDs of “We Got Married” which is pretty advanced this afternoon, they have announced that the show would be cancelled again this weekend due to the Beijing Olympics Men’s handball final. They will inform if there is a turn of events. More agony ahead for viewers.

With MBC opting to broadcast the baseball game between Korea and China at the Beijing Olympics 2008 yesterday, the regular broadcast of “We Got Married” was cancelled once again. This has led to many viewers being incensed at MBC’s scheduling and insisting on having the right to choose what they want to watch and not being forced to watch whatever is planned by them.

The production team of MBC Sunday Sunday Night had posted the cancellation notice less than 24 hours before the actual broadcast at 10.20pm on the official website, “Because of the live broadcast of the baseball game tomorrow, Sunday Sunday Night will not be shown, we hope that viewers can understand.”

This abrupt notice left many viewers disappointed, “Granted that the Olympics are very important, but you can’t possibly stop showing Sunday Sunday Night for two consecutive weeks.” Before the cancellation notice was posted on late Saturday night, there were already many discussions on the official website where many wrote that they were looking forward to a new episode of “We Got Married” after the cancellation the week before. The wait continues.

Although the ratings for the Olympics broadcast have been really good, but it has also led to many variety shows and dramas on the three major tv stations to take a backseat and left many viewers feeling incensed at this sudden disruption and asking for their right to choose what they want to watch.

i was so disappointed that WGM was cancelled this past weekend cuz i was really looking forward to it throughout the week and now it will be cancelled for another week ......i can understand that the Olympics occurs only once every 4 years but i still prefer WGM over the Olympics! i can only wait patiently now....i think they should make up to the fans and probably extend the broadcast time for the next episode of WGM to 2 or 3 hours.....

We Got Married Not So Original Afterall?

MBC Sunday Sunday Night segment, “We Got Married” is now being accused of plagarism. This plagarism claim was made by one Korean media and it spread like wildfire across the internet, invoking fierce discussions about it.

According to the claim, the basic concept amd some parts of “We Got Married” are very similar to a Japanese variety show called “Koisuru Hanikami” by TBS Japan in 2006. Both shows sets up male and female celebrities together and then hands them a mission to accomplish on that episode. The cameras follows the celebrities around the whole day plus having the same interview segments.

With regards to this, the PDs of “We Got Married” has denied the allegations and insisted that they have not watched “Koisuru Hanikami” before. But netizens are apparently not letting this go away so easily.

Most netizens gave their support to “We Got Married” expressing, “The program has already been airing for a long time, they claimed it’s plagarism because of one similar segment, this is ridiculous”, “Although the Olympics is good to watch, but we also want to watch We Got Married. Not only has it been pre-empted for the past weeks but now with these plagarism allegations, it’s quite a pity.”

There were netizens who were unhappy about this of course, “I thought the program was really innovative all this while. But now with these plagarism claims, it’s pretty disappointing”, “I thought the program was really good to watch, but since all these is copied, I don’t feel very good now”.

The good publicity and vibes of “We Got Married” has gone downhill in recent weeks with the non-show of the program for two consecutive weeks and possibly this weekend included. Will these plagarism claims hurt the show ratings even further considering that “Family Outing” is really catching up? Is Kang Soo Jung really a jinx? Stay tuned as the drama unfolds.

Today's current trend is younger men-older women couples. What was once a difficult scene to see is now seen easily as you go about on the streets. Also those who once rejected and looked at these relationships through colored lenses are now wishing "I want to try it once too...".

MBC's WGM's youngest couple are Hyun Joong and Hwang Bo. Although they started a little later than the other couples, the both of them are now celebrating their 100th day of marriage with a commemorative wedding photo shoot. Hwang Bo, who was left alone in Korea when the other couples (Andy- Solbi, Crown J- In Young, Alex- Shin Ae) were having their wedding photo shoots because her husband Hyun Joong was away in Japan for work related activities, can now put aside the disappointment then with the photo shoot now.

Compared to the other couples, the both of them were relatively more awkward with each other when they started. However, although their conversations are sometimes stalled with moments of awkward silences, the both of them can be seen to be becoming more and more in tune with each other. Based on their dates of birth, fortune master Lee Kyung Min will study their individual love luck and their harmony, as well as ways for the both of them to appeal to each other. Crown J who plays a made-believe couple with Seo In Young on MBC star wedding variety “We Got Married” made a call to her recently on a radio program, asking for her forgiveness which attracted the attention of fans.

On “Choi Hwa Jung’s Power Time” radio show on the 18th, Seo In Young who was guest received a call from her ‘husband’ Crown J asking for her forgiveness (not sure why, was not specified). “I was wrong, Seo In Young the best”, as Crown J’s phone call becoming a hot topic in an instance with listerners. Many left comments on the website, “The two of them are simply too compatible”, with many wondering whether the two of them are really dating off-screen.

Crown J expressed "Whether we are really dating or not, we have been a made-believe couple for more than six months now, our feelings for each other are almost on par with that of real couples. Even if we aren’t dating, we will have feelings for each other and show care/concern."

Upon hearing what Crown J said, DJ Choi Hwa Jung expressed with regrets, “Would be great if you both were really dating”.

When Seo In Young’s second album “Cinderella” became the No.1 search term after it’s release, Crown J was the first to congratulate his ‘wife’ on the phone. Their ambiguous relationship continues to draw the attention of their fans.

WGM: Filming of the controversial make believe parenting

It has been announced that episodes with the make believe parenting concept has started last week.

The producers of WGM said that Crown J and So In Young filmed the "Parents for a day" concept last week.

According to the producers of WGM, Crown J and So In Young were suddenly made responsible over the care a child as the child's parents. Crown J, who didn't know what the mission was even up to the day of filming, was caught by surprise.

Alex and Shin Ae, who were given the same mission as well, also did not know what the mission was up to the day of filming.

This mission is a collaboration between WGM and the Health and Welfare Family department, in an attempt to encourage childbirth.

Hwang Bo and Kim Hyun Joong 100th Day Anniversary

Originally scheduled for 10th August, Hwang Bo and Kim Hyun Joong 100th wedding photoshoot episode was pushed back for two consecutive weeks due to MBC’s Beijing Olympics coverage. But with the conclusion of the Olympics yesterday, the long-awaited 100th day photoshoot episode was finally aired. The last of the four incumbent couples on the show to have this mission.

In episode 22 of MBC “We Got Married” yesterday, both of them were particularly nervous as they were wearing wedding outfits for the first time during their photoshoot. The older woman/younger man couple were even more awkward and uptight when faced with the photographer’s requests to be more intimate in their poses. But under the guidance of the photographer, they eventually completed the bobo scene after some difficulty.

Hwang Bo expressed in her interview, “Because he’s like a younger brother, I don’t know if this was possible. But it should be fine for a younger brother to hug his older sister right?, as she revealed how much she doted on Hyun Joong. Meanwhile, Hyun Joong expressed generously, “Although there might be a little problem in future after that bobo scene, but the feeling was great.”

Hwang Bo’s close friend, Shin Ae-ra visited her during her photoshoot and offered some advice to her since she was already a mother of 4 children with her actor/husband, Cha In Pyo. She told Hwang Bo, “You are really not suitable to date a younger man?”. But at the same time, Shin Ae-ra showed her interest in the young groom, “You have finally returned safely from Japan, must have been really tough?”, her straightforward words leaving everyone in stitches.

We Got Married 3 Hours Chuseok Special Schedule Breakdown

A preview of what’s going to happen this weekend when “We Got Married” Chuseok special goes on air from 5pm and ending at 8 in the evening.

Part 1 (5 - 6:55pm)
The episode of the 3 new couples.
- Choi Jin Young - Lee Hyun Ji (17 year age gap)
- Marco - Son Dam Bi (cultural difference)
- Hwan Hee - Hwayobi (same age, ballad singers)

Choi Jin Young and Hwan Hee will be revealing the houses that they are actually currently living in. It will be something like the pilot episode of “We Got Married” during the Chinese New Year, just a one-off thing. But anything could happen.


Part 2 (6:55 - 7:55pm)
The four regular couples will appear in Part 2.
- compete for ’strongest couple’ title (song and dance battle)
- showing scenes cut from previous episodes
-solving quizzes
- play couple games (rumours of peppero game and a wresting match)

Park Mi Sun, Lee Hwi Jae, Jung Hyung Don will be the MCs while Jo Hyung Ki, Kim Gu Ra, Lee Gyung Shil and Lee Hyuk Jae will act as mentors to the four couples.

Continuation of the farm episode starring Andy, Solbi and Kim Hyun Joong, Hwang Bo will be aired the following week. Things are subject to change as they deem fit so don’t complain if something doesn’t happen.

Andy and Solbi Will Go Separate Ways After 7 Months of ‘Marriage’

The inevitable has happened, the lovable Andy and Solbi couple will be leaving MBC star wedding variety “We Got Married” after 7 months of ‘marriage’.

According to the “We Got Married” PD in charge of recording today, Andy and Solbi will be recording their final scenes today and then leave the show entirely. The couple leaves the variety show having been on it since March this year and lasting around 7 months before eventually saying goodbye. This final recording for Andy and Solbi will be shown towards the end of September.

Andy and Solbi have been winning lots of love since appearing on “We Got Married” and fans will no doubt be sad at this latest happening which was being foreshadowed by a string of events (cut scenes, new couples, lack of chemistry recently, etc). After leaving the show, Andy’s schedule will still be packed to the brim with his musical, nationwide concert tour, overseas promotions, etc while Solbi will embark on her solo singing career with her new album.

The departure of Andy and Solbi at this juncture means that one of the 3 new couples who will be appearing this Sunday on the Chuseok special could be drafted in to replace them depending on circumstances like how well-received they are, fans reaction, their schedules, etc. The 3 new couples was originally scheduled to make a one-time only appearance this Sunday.

After a long post on some updated news.....

i am very sad that my favorite Anbi couple will be leaving the show , but i can understand that they both have very busy schedules coming up....i must admit that the Anbi couple was getting a bit boring in the last episode compared to the other couples, but thats because they r like an old married couple already.....it's hard to see them part and i will definitely miss them....i really hope they would continue to keep in touch and maybe one day come together cuz they definitely have the chemistry there.....i just wish tat i could at least see their parenting episode b4 they leave the show, but they are doing their farewell episode already.....it's goin to be sad for Anbi fans....it'll get worse when the other original couples begin to leave too....will WGM still be the same?

i wonder how the new couples would do and who will replace the Anbi couple....i hope the new couples are just as fun and good to watch as the original couples....but nothing can ever replace the originals.......

regarding the last episode (ep. 24), the babies were so cute and adorable! the expressions on Alshin and the Ant couple when they first got their mission were priceless! it was hilarious! the Ant couple was the funniest. can't wait to watch the next episode!

Solbi Sobs As Leaving We Got Married Becomes Reality

The farewell vacation mission for the four make-believe couples on MBC “We Got Married” will be shown next as we will finally know who will stay and who will depart. Andy and Solbi are already confirmed to be the first to exit.

Due to some issues and the continuation of what happened 2 weeks earlier, I wasn’t really interested in anything else yesterday. I was more concerned with what they would be showing in the preview instead. What did they expect me to do? I couldn’t possibly watch in peace and joy after all the drama created in the past week by the PDs who gave interview after interview about the possibility of the couples staying and then leaving the next instance.

Andy and Solbi had gone to Namsan Park on 16th September for a stroll as part of their farewell vacation mission. They reminisced about the make-believe married life for the past 8 months and sorted out their emotions which Solbi especially had difficulty controlling. The PD claimed, “The recording was done under a very serene atmosphere and Solbi couldn’t quite control her emotions at the end as she started tearing heavily. This was inevitable since Solbi developed very deep feelings during the past 8 months of recording.

The “Ant Couple”, Crown J and Seo In Young decided to go through something that each of them wanted to do the most as part of their farewell vacation mission. The sporty Crown J dragged In Young to exercise via rollerblading which left In Young in some difficulty as she hated sweating. In Young meanwhile dragged Crown J along for her favorite activity, shopping.

Alex and Shin Ae was different. On 7th September, Shin Ae went to Ewha Womans University to attend Alex’s first solo concert as part of their mission. The PDs expressed, “Compared to the usual farewell vacations, they decided to use Alex’s concert as an avenue to act out their mission instead.”

Due to Hyun Joong’s health issue earlier last week, the filming of their farewell vacation mission was posting and didn’t make it to the preview. Most viewers including me are just concerned about who’s going to stay and leave. But just prepare yourself to cry buckets. Emotional episodes ahead.

Rumors of Crown J and Seo In Young Leaving We Got Married

According to the PDs, the couples that will exit the show will develop their solo careers along different paths. With the farewell vacation mission broadcast showing over the next two weeks starting this weekend, many are concerned over who would leaving together with Andy and Solbi couple.

Apparently, journalists have jumped the gun, fabricating stories and assumed that Crown J and Seo In Young would be leaving the show. They must have felt something was brewing with their “cold war” over a bowl of ramen with egg in the last episode which seems to be hinting at their eventual “split”.

The PDs of “We Got Married” had expressed that 8 months seems to be a much too lengthy period and in order for the program to develop better in future, an infusion of new faces is required constantly for the novelty factor.

Star Empire released a statement saying that they haven’t talked to the PDs at all about In Young’s possible departure or even thought about it at all. They also said angrily that even if In Young was to leave “We Got Married”, shouldn’t the PDs have consulted the person in question instead of through the media. Crown J’s management also released a statement saying the same thing, that they have not heard anything from the PDs about him leaving the show.

Crown J has also posted on the Ant Couple Cyworld Club that the rumours about them leaving are untrue and that no one has heard anything about departing from the show. He also mentioned that he has given In Young a burnt copy of his new album (which hasn’t actually been produced yet).

Their mere presence, mannerisms, “A!”, “Too Much” song, etc (I could go on and on…) would be sorely missed. Not everyone’s cup of tea, but their interaction was one of it’s kind and the program certainly needed them to act as a sharp contrast to the other couples. Thankfully, they are not leaving yet.

I would definitely be needing the tissues when I watch this farewell episode of Andy and Solbi.....i'm glad to hear that the rumors about Crown J and In Young leaving is not true.....it would be too heart breaking to see the two original couples of the show to leave now cuz they were there from the very beginning and never left.....until now.....

Bn having serious WGM withdrawals since ep25 Joongbo techtonik dance & ep26 HJ serenade to HB. I'm so addicted to rewatching WGM uncountable no. of times that i gota even put on hold watching any other kdramas n jdramas.

Glad to know Joongbo and Antwitch couple r staying. Also lookin fwd to more Hwanyobi cute interactions. Only 1 more day to a new WGM ep.

I am so surprised that Hwan Hee joined We Got Married. And he is paired up with Hwayobi! Hahaha that fourth-dimensional girl! Even though she's not exactly trendy, I thought Hwan Hee was being kinda mean to her in their first episode. Thankfully Hwayobi is has very high tolerance and she doesn't mind being bullied. Well, at least they paired up the correct people together! If Hwan Hee was to be paired up with Hwang Bo or In Yeong their house would collapse.

I don't like Choi Jin Yeong and Hyun Ji's pair. Hyun Ji was kinda annoying, especially how she insisted on breaking Jin Yeong's seven-year coin box. I was like... WHAT??! No respect at all? Even if she wasn't going to respect him as her husband, at least respect him as an elder person!! I tolerated her a little bit seeing that she is still young and perhaps spoilt, but that doesn't mean she has the right to do so.

Dambi and Marco... or Marcus whatever, were so... hahaha typical love-at-first-sight couple. I was surprised to see Marco being so crazy. That wasn't the impression I had of him when I first saw him on the Segway. I thought he would be something like Alex, romantic and down-to-earth. But apparently, quite a fun guy. The rabbit head was... freaky, though.

just finished watching episode 27th and I'm afraid that Alex & ShinAe might leave too they might not be my favorite couple but I really like them together. Hopefully, if they really leave, they'll start dating for real

After ep27th, i guess it'll b fine even if my fav Joongbo couple leave cos they've kinda fulfilled all my dreams of them on-screen. Hopefully, leaving early will give private space to couples to develop their relationships off-screen. Of course, best would be to watch Joongbo on WGM for the next 3 mths and look fwd to a smashing Xmas special!

I don't really understand about Hyun Joong and Hwang Bo's farewell vacation. Does it mean they are leaving the show? If it is, then perhaps they should have done a better last episode for the couple? I mean, no official farewell party or something? Or was it that the couple is just going to take a break and come back again for the show later?

I think if they really want the three remaining couples to leave, they will have to wait until the three new couples to develop strong chemistry and garnered stable viewing rates first.

from what i understood, the farewell episode is where they "act" as if it is their last BUT, they have the final say. They get to vote or choose if they leave the show for good or if they're staying. as far as i know, SolbiAndy and Inyoung CrownJ are the only ones that are leaving.. as of now. The producers certainly wont allow all of them to leave at once.. and HwangBo and Hyun Joong has no news about separating yet

PD created farewell vacation as a trick to get couples to think back or reflect their past actions. It worked well in boiling up couples' emotions. As seen in ep 27, HJ had several silent moments of sadness showing on his face thinking back of what he hasn't yet done for HB. Hence speeding up shillang's eager for skinship with buin. Bobo, bobo, bobo!

I think Joongbo's already developed very strong sizzling chemistry on-screen and proven to have garnered stable viewer ratings or at least fandom for their segments.

i just caught up with wgm after a week of midterms and studying.....after watchin ep. 30, i felt like somethin was missing and i dunno why.....probably it might be tat the other couples weren't in the studio or it might be tat i miss anbi too much.....anyways, the lettuce couple has become my new favorite couple on wgm....hyun joong is way too funny and cute....

sweetbub I do agree with you because I thought something was missing after watching ep. 29 and 30. Then I read your post and realized that JoongBo and AlShin wasn't in the studio segment. And even though the Ant couple was there they weren't even shown. I miss AnBi as well, it would have been better if they just left the four old couples. JoongBo is also my favorite on WGM, ep. 31 was good because JoongBo did a lot of things in Everland. They were once again not in the studio segment as well which totally sucks.

Hmm...I guess I can relate to why a lot of ppl don't like Marco because he tries too much to be like the other husbands. I do find him annoying as well but I don't want to be too harsh so I'm going to try to give him another try with ep. 31 since I only saw JoongBo cuts. I really enjoy Hwanyobi too, esp. Yobi she's really cute and naive in a way. Hwanhee is mean yet caring as well. Looking forward to seeing this couple further development.

I actually felt kind of bad for Marco today. I understand that Son Dam Bi wants to help him with his "Korean" language problems but to make such a big deal of it.

It would have been a good idea for her to use the thing he likes in order to teach him, I mean he's a comic junkie use that as a teaching tool. I don't know, it's possible that I misunderstood their scenes today, but that was just the feeling I had while watching them.

I also found it a little bizarre that Hwayobi "took over" Hwan Hee's home like she did. Though it looked like they worked things out in the end, they are a very strange (or unique) couple. Next weeks episode (their segment) looks like it might be fun.

Alex and Shin Ae Leaves We Got Married

Alex and Shin Ae filmed their last outdoor shoot on 29th October for MBC We Got Married at the Acoustical Society of Korea located at Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu. 600 fans from the Alshin fan club attended in the format of a fan meeting as Alex and Shin Ae left the show in their own special way.

On this day, Alex and Shin Ae came to the fan meeting venue early as they decorated the entire place personally with flowers, balloons, photos (Polaroids I guess ^^), etc. Shin Ae also made cookies and presents in the form of cosmetics, autographed photos, etc and packaged them nicely. The production team even transferred Alshin couple sofa from their home at Yongin, Gyeonggi-do to their fan meeting place, making the atmosphere extra heartwarming.

During the fan meeting, Alex and Shin Ae chatted with their fans, Alex sang for them while Shin Ae read out letters with the entire event brimming with excitement (you have to wonder how much of this will actually be aired). As Shin Ae was opening her letter, she couldn’t help but start tearing. She couldn’t stop herself and burst out crying several times while reading the letter.

Seeing that Alex and Shin Ae would really be leaving following the conclusion of the event, fans were noticeably sad at that. Alex and Shin Ae will film their last studio segment on 4th November and their farewell episode will air probably in mid-November. PDs claim that there will be no further changes after this.

Reasons given for Alex and Shin Ae departure from the show was because of Alex’s back problems while Shin Ae has to film a saeguk drama Empress Chun Chu. As the filming for Empress Chun Chu takes place in Gyeongsangbuk-do (outside of Seoul) and which could take up 5 to 7 consecutive days, it wasn’t realistic for Shin Ae to travel from Gyeongsangbuk-do to Seoul.

The ominous signs were there or rather a combination of factors that were forced by circumstances. Choi Jin Shil’s (Shin Ae was very close to her) death, Alex back problems, something fishy when they added 2 couples despite only Anbi leaving, the lack of airtime for Alshin couple in the past few episodes, Shin Ae starting her drama filming, Ant couple moving into a big house, etc.

It was good while it lasted when they made their return. It took a while to regain the lost spark. But when they eventually did, every single moment despite little airtime was sweet. They are still the only couple to leave and then return on We Got Married. Now, I have even more reason not to watch when they are officially off the show, they were my favorite couple after all.

You're assuming they will get an equal share of air time. With their rumored departure at the end of the year there isn't really anything to be said about Alex & Shin-Ae's departure other than it will most likely upset a lot of the shows fans. As the report by coolsmurf stated a lot of the fans at the event were teary eyed as were both Alex & Shin-Ae I can only imagine a ten fold reaction by the viewing audience when that episode airs.

The ship is sinking, looks like everybody is headed for the life rafts unfortunately there doesn't seem to be enough rafts for everybody.

I don't know what will become of WGM anymore. It seems like every week the ratings are dropping and now with the fact that AlShin are leaving in 3 weeks, the ratings are just going to drop even more. I do hope that things will be better for the two new couples since I believe more so to Marbi couple that they are what are affecting the ratings.

It was so good with the 4 old couples but AnBi left and now AlShin will leave as well. I can just see it by the end of the year the two remaining old couples;JoongBo and Ant couples will probably end up leaving as well.

Semi-fly I do agree that the PD might not give equal air time to the 4 remaining couples esp. the old couples since they want to show more of the new couple so that viewers can like them as well. I also believe it won't help since the viewers are really watching for their 4 old couples, AnBi left and took away a huge percent of the ratings and now AlShin will take away another portion of that.

So i'm not only hoping for Joongbo to at least get equal airtime, but also for them to appear at the studio too. I believe if schedule allows and given a choice, that HJ would def like to stay on WGM with HB. As an idol, WGM's probably his only chance to experience dating. As for Antwitch, I believe CJ's Fly Boy making it on the charts is very much due to WGM's airing the song often. Hence CJ probably needs WGM more than SIY ... so lets not disappoint their mania fans.

Agree WGM's in for a dip with Anbi n Alshin departure. Gona b hard to gain new audience base with Family Outing's strong ratings n constant popular guest stars.
