Panda Ambassador Song Hye-Kyo



South Korean actress Song Hye-Kyo , who has been named "Asia's panda ambassador", visited a panda breeding center in Chengdu earlier this month.




Although the pandas had left red scratches on her skin, Song couldn't hold a grudge against the Chinese national treasure. She says she is looking forward to adopting a panda in the near future.

Pandas aside, the Korean actress is likely to strike another chord with Chinese audiences. Rumors say she is among the candidates to play Yang Yuhuan, one of the Four Beauties of ancient China, in Chinese director You Xiaogang's TV biopic of the Tang Dynasty royal consort.

Song Hye-kyo Most Favored by Hong Kongers



Song Hye-kyo has become the South Korean entertainer favored most by Hong Kongers.




The development was revealed after a survey of 1,145 Hong Kong citizens conducted by the Hong Kong branch of the Korea Tourism Corp. June 11-14.

When asked about their favorite South Korean entertainers in a multiple-choice question, 40.4 percent picked the 27-year-old Song.

Lee Young-ae, who has been enjoying high popularity in Hong Kong and other Chinese communities in Asia with her starring role in ``Jewel in the Palace,'' ranked second with 40.2 percent. Lee took first place in last year's survey.

Next came Jeon Ji-hyun (31.2 percent), Bae Yong-joon (16.2 percent), Rain (14.4 percent) and Ji Jin-hee (12.9 percent).

Asked about their must-visit destinations in South Korea, 68.2 percent chose Seoul. Jeju Island and Gangwon Province came second (42.6 percent) and third (24.7 percent), respectively.

Song, a model and actress, starred in a number of hit dramas, including ``All In," ``Autumn Fairy Tale" and ``Full House."

Song Hye-kyo, Hyun Bin to Visit Japan



Actress Song Hye-kyo and actor Hyun Bin will visit Japan in September to promote the TV drama "Worlds Within" (directed by Pyo Min-soo and written by Noh Hee-kyung). The two actors were invited by the Japanese agency Avex, which will release the drama DVD and OST album in Japan on September 18. Song and Hyun will participate in an event marking the release on September 26 at the Pacifico Yokohama Convention Hall.

The day before the event, Hyun will hold a fan meeting at the Pacifico Yokohama National Hall.

The Japanese satellite TV channel that aired a high-definition version of "Worlds Within" back in April has begun airing the series again this month.

Song Hye Kyo & Hyun Bin are dating!

Actors Song Hye Kyo (27) and Hyun Bin (26) have broken hearts around the world with confirmation that they are currently in a relationship.

According to the media, Song Hye Kyo and Hyun Bin grew close through working together as a couple on the 2008 KBS drama, Worlds Within. The two also represented Amore-Pacific’s Aritaum brand together. However, they didn’t begin dating until June, following Hyun Bin’s stay in Busan to film Friend, Our Legacy. It was supposedly a case of “distance makes the heart grow fonder” as they were separated during his filming. During that time, the two friends developed greater feelings for each other.

Hyun Bin’s agency stated on the morning of August 5, “Song Hye Kyo and Hyun Bin were good friends and became lovers two months ago.” Song Hye Kyo’s agency also confirmed the news. Sources said the two usually go on dates at cafes in Chungdam-dong or Apgujeong-dong, in a car, or with a group of friends.

When asked about his ideal woman in a recent interview, Hyun Bin answered that she should have good sense (in knowing how to act in different situations) and be feminine yet eat well. One can assume that Song Hye Kyo fits this description? Hyun Bin will likely not discuss his relationship with the media as he adamantly told Star News on July 28, “I don’t want to reveal my private life. Whether it’s my house, parents, or girlfriend.”

In contrast to when Hyun Bin was rumoured to be dating Hwang Ji Hyun and fans verbally abused Hwang, netizens are greeting this news with compliments and congratulatory comments toward Hyun Bin and Song Hye Kyo. Song was previously linked to drama co-stars Lee Byung Hun (confirmed) and Bi (rumoured).

Song Hye Gyo For Laneige

Actress Song Hye Gyo has been getting a lot of attention lately, from showing off her S Line for Levi's, to her recently exposed public relationship with Hyun Bin.

Now she's back in the limelight with a photo shoot for Laneige lipstick. Song Hye Gyo wore the new Snow Crystal lipstick for the pictorial shot by Nonhyun. The photo shoot was on and off and took place over the course of 10 days. There were four different themes (1. Matt Pink, 2. Orange Bloom, 3. Pink Fever, and 4. So Pink) and various hairstyles showing sexy, sophisticated, and pink / red lips.

Song Hye Kyo contributed on the development of LANEIGE's 'Snow Crystal lipstick' line. This new line is expected to released some time this month in stores in Korea.

Two Top Celebrities Admit that They're in Love



Korea’s two top movie stars, Hyun Bin and Song Hye-kyo, admitted that they are in love. Having starred in the KBS drama “Worlds Within� as reunited lovers, the two have become a real-life couple off-screen about two months ago. Hyun’s representative at A.M. Entertainment said the two have remained friends even after the drama ended last year and their friendship blossomed into love just recently.
