Which band do you think is better, whether its in terms of singing, dancing or anything.

Super Junior M:
Debuted in April 2008, although several members were already in Super Junior



Fahrenheit:
Debuted in the year 2006




I would personally have to say that SJM is the better group. In my opinion, they sing AND dance better than Fahrenheit; also, all of the members have been through training before debuting. But when I watch them on variety shows, I'd have to say that Fahrenheit is more entertaining. It's not really SJM's fault that half the group can't even speak Chinese, but Ryeowook and Kyuhyun were always sorta quiet/shy to begin with, so they're not as outgoing as Fahrenheit.
However, since the point of a band is to sing/dance well, I'd have to go with Super Junior M overall

To me, Fahrenheit is still no where close to Super Junior - M both in terms of singing or dancing, though SJM just debuted not long ago this year.

Looks/Appearence, both bands do have. But this entertainment is not about looks only

All members in SJM are WELL-TRAINED in all aspects, singing, dancing, handling media. Since thats what SM do best
Fahrenheit however pales alot if they were to be compared to SJM. Watching the upbeat song for both bands, Fahrenheit choreography is just very basic. SJM involves much more movements.
SJM can sing live, Frh they can but its not stable, some of them tend to go off rather obvious.
Frh may act better than SJM, but again SJM is a band who focus on singing not much acting.


Though the members in SJM arent fluent in Chinese, but at least its understandable.

- SJ-M

• Kyuhyun, RyeoWook & ZhouMi have good voices. [: . They can hit the high and even low notes well. The rest have good voices too but I don't really call them the ' best singers ' in SJ-M though. And SJM can sing livee.

• I can't choose Fahrenheit because I only find Arron good in singing. Yes the rest have okay voices, OKAY only. But that doesn't make me change my mind into choosing SJ-M. Arron against 3 best singers in SJ-M, of course SJ-M wins. And Fahrenheit can sing live but it's not really that good?

Dancing
- SJ-M

• Yes, SJ-M. It's not fair for Fahrenheit though because their choreographer never teach them
' REAL ' dances. BUT hello. SJ-M dancing is GOOOOD, though sometimes I find ZhouMi dancing abit weird. O.O Their Pelvic Thrusts is so.. D: .


Entertaining
- BOTH

• SJ-M is entertaining. They're quite cute in interviews and all. But I prefer seeing the whole 13 of SJ in one show. SJ-M is sometimes kinda quiet? Most of the time it's SiWon & Hankyung who talks the most. That's my opinion though. If only Eunhyuk, Eeteuk, HeeChul, Kangin etc. are with them. I think that would be even more entertaining.

• Fahrenheit is too. If not, why would I fall in love with them. They're funny. Seeing Chun & Calvin joking around etc. It's kinda nice. I feel that Fahrenheit is a lil quiet nowadays. As in, they're not as entertaining as last time. Their ' fun aura ' is not really there. Maybe it's due to them not really being together this year because of their dramas. And Taiwanese people aren't really as open as Koreans? I dunno.

Looks
- Arron, Jiro & KyuHyun,DongHae,HanKyung --> Both?

• I simple can't choose which group is better looking. =x. Because if I choose SJ-M, I still think Arron is more good looking to me. lol.

Others : Talents? Languages?
- SJ-M

• SJ-M is more talented. They have at least 3 good singers and the rest are good dancers. Plus the fact that Henry could even play the Violin in style while performing, that adds a point.
• And their Mandarin when singing is pretty fluent, with the fact that 4 of them are Koreans. They could even rap in Mandarin. I'm pretty happy with their Mandarin. Not perfect but certainly good.

• Fahrenheit should have their talents hidden somewhere. But until they show it, people won't know how talented they are. And to answer honestly, I feel that Arron is the most talented of the four. The rest are okayokay.

• Their Japanese is kinda.. uhhh. Okay, they're Taiwanese but still, I expected them to sing good in Japanese. They're quite okay actually but Chun has got that accent when singing in Japanese which make the song sounds abit weird. The other 3 Japanese is quite okayy, I guess.

Music Style
- SJ-M

• Their music style ranges from the slight rockish fast paced songs, to the bubblegum pop songs and even to a ballad/slow songs, like Zhi Shao Hai You Ni.

• Fahrenheit songs sounds pretty much similar to me. I have no idea why. Maybe I would love to hear them sing more fast paced song which is more upbeat.

OVERALL
- Super Junior M!

To think that I actually fall in love with SJM through Fahrenheit themselves. I smiled to myself thinking about the time SJM shook hands with Fahrenheit. LMAO.
I MAY love SJM more than Fahrenheit as a group. But my love for Arron is too strong that I could choose Fahrenheit over SJM just for the sake of Arron. sigh. Biased

Although I started out as a Fahrenheit fan (still am), Super Junior M is WAY more talented. And now, I'm more into SJM & Super Junior in general.

Singing- SJM
They have Kyuhyun & Ryeowook who are considered two of the top three singers in Suju with very powerful voices. Kyuhyun can hit all those low notes while Ryeowook can hit all those high notes. Then, there's also Zhoumi who has a killer voice. The only person who can sing in FRH is Arron. Maybe Jiro, but his nasally voice is so annoying so I don't like it.

Dancing- SJM
They have Donghae & Hangeng who are considered two of the top four dancers in Suju. They can do choreographed dance moves and freestyle. Then, there's also Henry who can do a lot of popping. And those pelvic thrust? Those are love, LOL. The only person who can dance in FRH is Arron, but can't because of his leg injury. And maybe Jiro again, but whatever.

Acting- SJM
Alright, now most people will think FRH acts better because they are always in dramas. However, Siwon is considered a really good actor back in Korea. And I've seen Siwon, Kyuhyun, Ryeowook & Donghae in mini dramas and they're just as good, if not better than FRH, considering Wu Zun can't act for his life, Jiro's acting is over the top and Calvin's just average. Only Arron has acting potential.

Entertaining- Both
I enjoy watching both bands on variety shows. SJM is pretty funny because Donghae & Henry look mad confused half the time. And their accents are so cute. FRH is also super funny especially when Wu Zun & Calvin attack each other with jokes.

Looks- Both
I think Arron is like the hottest Taiwanese celebrity, so yeah. And Wu Zun & Jiro are both really hot, even though I find them to be just okay after awhile. And Calvin's pretty cute. In SJM, Donghae is super hot and Henry & Ryeowook are both cute. Kyuhyun's good looking too.

Overall- SJM
And that's kinda sad, considering FRH has been out way longer than SJM. Well, actually, everyone in SJM debuted in 2005 except for Henry & Zhoumi. But, those two alone are still more talented compared to FRH as a whole. And can I just say Henry's violin skills are killer.

Anybody can rap/sing anything in a different language if they have it burnt deep into their brains. Though their pronunciation is another question.

I can see why you'd want to make the comparisons, but it's important to note that SJ-M is seeking to break into the Chinese market while FRH is already firmly established and quite well-known among the Taiwanese market. But I think everyone in China knows Hangeng, Shiwon, Donghae and SJ-M? dunno.

Anyways, I pick SJ-M because of the first and foremost reason of artists: their singing. FRH's singing is well... not-so-good. And most fans will agree with me on this. But, I also must add that I don't think Arron's voice comes anywhere near the quality of Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, or ZhouMi's voices. Their voices are fantastic whereas I would rate Arron's voice at only around "good" or even just "okay."

Dancing? Undoubtedly, SJ-M. I will admit: Zhou Mi, Ryeowook, Kyu, and Shiwon (to an extent) aren't exactly the best dancers out there... but all 7 of them dance better than FRH. Maybe it's because the choreography of SJ-M's songs are more complicated and show off SJ-M's moves? Maybe the choreography is just better in general? Probably. But still. That's my opinion. Hangeng and Donghae are quite well-known for their dancing, even in Korean circles (which boast some of the top idol-dancers in the Asian showbiz industry) and Henry is surprisingly polished for a newbie who is less than a year out of training (including his singing).

As for the rest...? Well, it's a moot point to argue the "entertainment factor" of either idols. It's no doubt that I find Taiwanese variety shows more varied, interesting, and fun(ny) than their mainland-Chinese counterparts. So it's not fair, because if I were to base my opinions of Farenheit on Taiwanese variety shows and SJ-M on Chinese variety shows, I'd have to give the vote to Farenheit. But I believe a variety show depends very little on its guests and more on its hosts and the script/producers behind it... it more depends on the guests' interactions rather than the guests themselves to carry the whole show. With great hosts and a great venue/activities, even the blandest of guests can be fun and upbeat and hilarious. But with bad hosts and bad activities (or no activities), the shows are boring no matter up upbeat and funny the guests try to be. Conversely, if I were to compare the Korean SJ-M members on Korean variety shows to FRH on Taiwanese variety shows... sorry, Super Junior would get it.

Ultimately? Well, for how I pick and choose my fandoms.. SJ-M gets it. Farenheit is fun and adorable and cute and attractive... but with SJ-M, I get fun, adorable, cute, and attractive guys that can ALSO sing and dance. A++.

Definitely SJ! Farenheit can't sing or dance, and they have no talent at all. They are only good looking, so no votes for them!

OH wow.. i had no intentions of them tying at all LOL XD

I guess there is parts of the bands that i liek and don't like....
considering the fact that i'm usually FRH>SJM esp. since i know FRH ALOT more than SJM... it's pretty cool that they ended up tying LOL (W/e i typed here was my take on the bands.. please don't be offended .><)

Actually, I think there is a distinct aspect in which Fahrenheit pwns Suju-M - singing in Mandarin.

The one reason that I can't seem to support Suju-M as much as I support Suju as a whole group is because of their singing in Mandarin. Yes, I know I am being rather strict in this and pinpointing their less proficiency in the language, considering only two members have complete knowledge of it. I just couldn't help but feel a little irritated at the Korean accent that Kyu Hyun, Ryeo Wook, Shi Won and Dong Hae have (Henry's isn't obvious though). I DO support the group, but not very much. It's like I listen to their songs once in a while; but for Suju's songs I could listen to them non-stop for a few consecutive days. I prefer their Korean songs.

Other than that, in my opinion, Suju-M is practically good at many aspects. Singing, dancing... and a little bit of acting. Besides Arron I think the rest in Fahrenheit have some problems in pitch control. They could go off-key very easily, their vocals aren't very stable. Fahrenheit is alright in acting, but they're always starring in idol dramas, which I'm sick of watching. I prefer dramas with ACTUAL dramas; with an interesting storyline running though it; dramas that are clear and succinct in delivering messages. Shi Won had been in more... "proper" dramas and movies, which is more preferred.

As for entertainment, I honestly think that Suju-M is rather... boring in many of the Chinese variety shows. Like nanshi said, they are just not so used to attending shows like these with a language barrier impeding the communication. Plus, Suju-M is composed of more serious members in Suju, like Ryeo Wook especially, who could be really quiet even in Korean shows. If they had KangTeukChul then the group might be more lively.

Oh my... Initially I was here to show my preference towards Suju-M, but in the end it seems like I expounded on Suju-M's weaknesses more than their strengths!

The only members in Fahrenheit who have decent acting ability are Aaron and Jiro, but Jiro's acting is over the top, and Aaron's acting is still a bit shabby.

SJ-M are good actors, IMO. If you watched the Super Junior movie, you'll notice Siwon's, Donghae's, and especially Ryeowook's styles of acting. Their acting is better than Fahrenheit's. I'm especially amazed with Ryeowook's acting in the movie - he was excellent. I was shocked, because Ryeowook's acting wasn't too good in the Super Junior Minidramas. Hangeng showed his ability in "Timeless" and "I WILL", and he's great. Kyuhyun's acting was unconvincing in the Super Junior minidramas, but that was his only "acting project". He couldn't be in the SJ movie, so I don't know if he has improved or not.

I have yet to see Henry's or Zhoumi's acting, but I don't think they've done acting projects in the past.

As for their other departments, I really don't have much to argue about. Everyone above me already said it: SJ-M sings and dances much better than Fahrenheit.

(Oh, and I just have to add that every member in SJ-M can play the piano, lol. Most of the members in SJ-M play more than one instrument too: Hangeng, Siwon, Donghae, and Henry. Ryeowook is sick in the piano: He's excellent.)

Fahrenheit was my first venture into the asian idol music industry. Maybe it was the way they looked [cute!], but I think it was their lack of music ability which made me lose interest in them. After seeing them failing to sing on key a couple of times live, I just kind of lost interest. And then Super Junior came along, and not long after, SJ-M .

Dancing

SJ-M: HOT!! And the fact that they're in time...? I love how these guys are able to just keep in sync the whole performance.

FRH: Cute dance moves, but they're out of time, which makes me cringe.

Singing

SJ-M: Can't go wrong with Ryeowook and Kyuhyun in there. Plus Zhou Mi sounds quite nice as well =)

FRH: Sound alright from their albums, but their live performances are once again, cringe-worthy.

Looks

SJ-M: Hot, gorgeous, cute, hot, adorkable, hilarious, and did I mention HOT? lol. These guys have got the looks and they've got the talent.

FRH: First time I saw Arron, I was like...woah, that guy's cute~^^. I still think he's pretty good looking too. The rest are just average looking to me. I really don't understand what all the fuss about Jiro and Wu Zun is about. And Calvin...he changes. Sometimes he's okay, sometimes he looks cute.

Music Style

SJ-M: I love their diverse style of music. Oh my gosh, their voices in 'At least you've still got me'...LOVE . And then you've got 'U', which is a totally different style altogether.

FRH: To me, their songs sound pretty similar, although there are some songs like 為你存在(Existing For You) and 超喜歡你(I Really, Really Like You) which are different.


I think all in all, I'd say Super Junio M. Even though they debuted after Fahrenheit, they had the advantage of training before coming out to perform.

& did I mention how I just LOVE how they dance in sync?

SINGING:-Super Junior M no doubt about that. Kyuhyun, Zhou Mi & Ryeowook have the best voices out of sjm they can hit high notes easily specially kyuhyun whereas in fahrenheit i think Aaron is the only one with decent voice but still he is not close to the three i mentioned.

DANCING:
-Again no competition its SJM! They dance way better Donghae, Hankyung & Henry are the best dancers in SJM and SJM's choreography are harder yet they can still dance to is sexily did i mention i really love their pelvic thrust move.

LOOKS:
-First thing is SJM has 7 members while fahreheit has 4 so the numbers are not really fair. In SJM i personally think the good looking ones are Henry(mochi), Donghae, Kyuhyun, Siwon, Hangeng while in FHR i personally think Arron & Jiro are the only good looking ones well at least in my eyes.


OVERALL:
-Its crystal clear for me SUPER JUNIOR-M WINS, HANDS DOWN!

Singing: SJ-M. Fahrenheit's live is indeed improving, but they better pick up the pace. And yes, their pronounciation is much better, but apart from Arron, the others easily and more noticeably go off pitch. Arron's voice is the strongest out of Fahrenheit, but when compared to Kyuhyun or Ryeowook, Arron's vocals aren't that great.

Dancing: SJ-M. This is unfair really, FRH have been around longer, but SJ members have been in the industry since 05. PLUS, They have had training, and Hankyung or Donghae alone dances better than all of FRH put together. As a group, SJ-M have the chemistry to dance in synch and make it look hot. You could blame FRH's company and choreography for giving them the lamest moves in the world, but even in some of their MV's where they did get to dance, even those simple arm movements were kind of out-of-synch and just looked like a choreography routine they HAD to do.

Shows: Fahrenheit are more entertaining to watch for me. It's unfair because of the language barrier for SJ-M. But SJ-M don't have the usual loud members. Well it could be explained why the rest of SJ are in SJ-Happy. LOL.

Overall: SJ-M Their main focus is singing isn't it, so they are better for me.

Definitely SJM because I have to say Fahrenheit cant sing, cant dance, and cant act. SJM, on the other hand the members can actually sing and dance. Fahrenheit is popular because of their appearances and nothing else, I mean Wu Zun is okay looking but he cant sing, lol. But then again, who doesnt like to look at pretty boys every once in a while right?

i like Fahrehiet! i dont really know SJ so i cant say much about them..but i think they both has different styles shoudlnt be compared

Absolutely Super Junior - M even though I prefer Super Junior but I like SJM over Fahrenheit. Sorry, but I've never been a fan of Fahrenheit and I just don't understand how my friends love them so much. I've only listened to one or two songs of Fahrenheit which I find it's okay, the same with SJM but I still prefer SujuM. I am biased here ^^

Super Junior M are great live, they can dance very very challenging dance moves (OH MY SUPER GIRL, anyone?) and are more musical. They're not exactly actors but singers are supposed to focus on singing so we can forgive them there.

I used to be obsessed with Fahrenheit, and hearing them live was actually quite painful. I'm sure they have improved now but SJM has been strong ever since the start. Of course I guess it is unfair to compare this since most of the members in SJ-M have had a lot of training and experience from being in Super Junior and all of them have had years of training prior. They're dance moves are very basic but they're actors so ...

I'm really not much of a fan of Fahrenheit ... besides looks I guess I don't honestly see anything promising. :/ Sorry any fans out there but Super Junior M wins no competition for me.

Depends on which member.

I LOVE Kyuhun's, Zhou Mi's and Aaron's voice. I kinda think Zhou Mi's wasted on SUJU M because he's in a subgroup and doesn't sing more. SJM's first CD was alright, but their single that came out was awesome. (I love the song super girl). I think their mandarin's improving.

FLH - I'm a fan of their third CD and some of their songs from their first. I realize I don't quite listen to their second.

Performance wise... i crack up watching some of FLH's stuff (it actually puts me in a really good mood because I know that they're really earnest in what they do) Lately, they're improving! I was shocked while watching one of their concert promos.

I wish SJM would perform more. SUJU as a group used to lipsync but I'm so glad that they improved and no one made a bit deal when Kyuhun joined the group (I can't believe the fans did that to Henry and Zhou Mi. Zhou Mi's voice is realllly awesome).

There are some members in each group that I wish they sang less though. I just don't like their voice, it's nothing personal.

Super Junior-M is much better than FLH.

FLH's voices always seem to clash when they sing in unison so i can't even tell who is singing well and who's messing up, there voices also sound kinda dull but that might be the song's fault. SJ-M's voices sound much better together and there's a larger range of voice types.

SJ-M is better in dancing too. i know FLH hasn't been given very challenging choreography but if they can't even get simple arm movements like the dance in 'only have feelings for you' in sync then they can't possibly look that good doing hard choreography.

It's unfair to compare them since one band has members which received years of training but FLH have been around for about 3 years and they're still not that good and as a performer, you should already be good at your job from the start.

Unfortunately, SJ-M lip-syncs more than FLH, which i don't really get because they sound really good live, even when they dance so lip-syncing is pointless for them

I'm a fan of FRH but I have to admit that SUJU is better than FRH. They can sing well, they can dance well. But what I see from FRH's third album, they improved alot! Just like what you said, I don't quite listen to their second album too. I went for their concert in Malaysia on 28th March 2009. Something in me was, I don't expect much from them. But I have to say it was a blast and their live performance was much more better than what I see from TV and clips.

But still, they have much to improve. Go FRH!c

I love both the band but to me Super Junior has more talents. Plus I like SUJU-M more becasue DONGHAE is in SUJU-M. Both band have talents and looks but Suju can sing and dance a bit better.

I prefer Fahrenheit more than SJM because I prefer their songs and they are more handsome....

Obviously SJM. hate farenheit. I dnt see any talent in them. Their singing is not supposedly good (in my opinion) and their dancing sux. no offense.
