First appearing on the reality show. Hot Blood, the 7 members were casted as winners along with the 3 members of 2AM of the competition.

Now known as JYP's Pride and Joy, 2PM finally released their much anticipated single album “Hottest Time of the Day” on August 29. JYP revealed that “this group is my pride and reputation” because 2PM is his newest boyband in 10 years since the creation of G.O.D. The title of their album "Hottest Time of the Day" implies that 2PM will reflect the bussle and activity of mid-day by working hard as a dance group.

2PM’s title song is “10 points out of 10″, which is a fusion of rock(ish) guitar ripples, electronica, with a hip-pop beat that shows JYP’s daring style. And I definitely give them a perfect score - "10 out of 10″ - because this song will be the next sensation. Their single album contains 6 tracks, including “Only You” and “Angel”.

After appearing on the popular MBC variety show Every1 Idol opposite fellow Idol Group FT Island, 2PM were asked to become the new MCs for the third season. This time they members competed for the Best MC crown, as voted by viewers and featured guests. Park Jae Bum ultimately became the best crown MC, NicKhun second. and Chansung Third place.

Comeback:
In April of 2009, 2PM made their comeback in the idol world with a new single title "Time for Change". The single not only announces the group's return but it also introduce a new side to 2PM with a new image and music genre. Just from the teaser alone the band began topping online search engines such as Naver as the most searched "subject".

Woo Young looks so much younger with his new hair! I thought he resembles Jae Beom for a moment... then I remembered Jae Beom has a thinner face and sharper chin. They really go for the trend of artistically shaved hair.

Chan Sung looks so good with the braids! Honestly, not many people suit having braids all over their heads but Chan Sung pulled it off! Taek Yeon is also looking better with his flaring hair instead of the slanted-fringe look previously. I almost didn't notice him and Chan Sung with their new transformations. I guess I "memorised" their hairstyles rather than their faces.

Jae Beom amazes me with such great singing! I underestimated him when I used to thought he was the kind who only knows how to rap rather than sing. <3 I just wish he didn't attempt too much of the bad boy style... it's kinda putting off to me...

I think jae bum oppa looks kinda wierd when he sings cuz he has this random vein on his neck popping out

Ah, I watched Kko Kko Tour. God, they rated Chansung's dance 7 points only! It should have been full marks! He was like the best dancer out of them. I have a feeling that because the female guests were all older so they favoured Min Woo more. Chansung was the youngest there. I was guessing that he would choose Yuri when he was asked to, but he chose Sia. : There aren't subs for the show yet, so I was just merely guessing on what they were talking about based on the Korean subtitles. Can't wait for episode 2! Looks like everyone was shipping Chansung and Yuri.

And Everyone Idol Show... I have only watched the one on October 30th. Haha look at F.T's faces when they announced that 2PM was the guest group appearing in the show. Andwae!!! Rivalry! Even thought they're not exactly competing in terms of styles. Hahaha... OMG! I was cracking up so hard at the games! Well, Hong Ki was the main crack actually. 2PM were so good at dancing even after they spun. Normally people would have gone bonkers like that. I love how F.T Island tried to copy 2PM's dances and ended up looking weird. It's funny that their 10 Points dance looks really easily but difficult if you observe in detail.

Nick's attire was really out of place... winter is coming??!! He looks really stylist on-screen, but off-screen, he is like this boy-next-door guy with nerdy glasses (referring to the hauling-a-taxi picture). And when Junho smiles, you canNOT see his eyes at all.

I heard 10 Points Out Of 10's old school version and ouch! Not good at all...

The concept that was shot was expressing your own style through your personality. Girls’ Generation and 2PM positioned themselves through body movement but style and comfort in their uniforms.

Girls’ Generation, who has been a model for Elite Uniform since last year, received applause from the staff for their professionalism. 2PM, who newly joined, was a bit unfamiliar but once they started shooting, they did a variety of dances to the music and became more natural in the shooting.

Park Ji Young, head of the Elite Uniform marketing team, said, “2PM, dressed up as students, moved freely in their uniforms with various dance moves,” and “Girls’ Generation gave a lively feeling to our uniform line. They give bright expressions together with 2PM, and are a picture of good health.”

Haha! This is a must watch! I love the creativity of this compared to what the other artists did. I wasn't surprised that in the end they let Nickhun win (despite he didn't hold any weapons). I like how they inserted "10 Points Out Of 10" into the song since that is like their trademark symbolization. Hahaha... Chan Sung was really good with the weapon, and Taek Yeon... They all wore the same shoes!

I am SO SO amazed with 2PM's performances in MKMF 2008! I never knew they could be so good in Tango as well. You could see they were quite nervous in the performances but they were actually great already! I love Chan Sung and Ye Eun's dance where Ye Eun slipped around his legs. Woo Young and Sun Ye looked as if like they missed their hands but if you don't take notice it didn't pose much difference. And they spelled H-O-T when the removed their suits in those singlets! Their dance was really powerful (and I think they could have used more lights, it was so dark when they performed! )!
