Why: See what TVB got install for us as the 3rd Installment of the Burning Flames have arrived after 7 years or so. Watch out for the burning scenes and the Love-Triangle between Kevin-Wong-Myolie.

2. The Academy 3: Full Throttle
Cast: Michael Miu, Ron Ng, Sammul Chan, Chin Ka Lok
Why: Another 3rd Installment of The Academy. Not so, this series is different to the first prequel. Michael Miu returns as a villian. Let see how the storyline changes...

3. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
Cast: Wayne Lai, Shirley Yeung, Sonjia Kwok, Macy Chan
Why: A remake of The Good, the Bad and the Ugly 80s-90s version. This series will be the first time we see Wayne Lai in a Leading Role. Also features very complicated storyline and alot of comedy!

4. The Legendary of Ren-Jie
Cast: Kent Cheng, Bernice Liu, Sonjia Kwok, Leila Tong
Why: A small production which is considered as a mini-grand production. With such a huge cast, why wouldn't anyone want to see this?

5. Soft-Centered Storm
Cast: Gallen Lo, Jaime Chik, Kenix Kwok, Krystal Tin
Why: Set to be film later in 2008, this series will probably be aired in 2009, as TVB are trying to film it quick to get it aired. This series reminds me of Golden Faith.

1. Myolie Wu
Series: Burning Flames III, Love in the Rain...
Why: Myolie is likely to take out 2009 Best Actress. TVB is getting ready to promote her as she is about to film a bunch of films in 2009. Myolie will although have to sacrifice her young age to pair up with older experience actors such as Moses Chan and Kevin Cheng whereas she useto couple up with Raymond, Ron etc.

2. Sunny Chan
Series: The Legend of Ren-Jie, Big White Gourd, Just Love II and some warehouse series...
Why: You probably see him alot in the first half of 2009 as Big White Gourd is likely to air during Chinese new year! Totally around 5 series, with 2 series being warehoused!

I can't wait to watch the first two and also "The Greatness of a Hero" with Bernice and Leila in there. "The Academy III" is a must watch. I relaly want to see the continuation of Sammul and Ron in the series especially wiht Michael Miu and Kathy Chow back into the series.

I want to watch Burning Flame 3 and The Academy 3. Since I watched the first two hehe .. of both series haha. ^^

I'm seeing lots of Myolie now on TV. Series airing here right now are, War and Destiny, Lost in the Chamber of Love and When a Dog Loves a Cat. :] haha.

I can't wait for the Academy 3!!!!! I am sure it won't be a let down. =D

And myolie actually turned me over.. i started out not liking her THAT much.. but i thought she was hilarious.. in ahh.. i forget the name! but it was a series about how she believed in true love? or something? and she was overweight? and they work in the fashion industry? name just slipped my mind

^ I think that series was called To Grow with Love or Fat Meadows (because she's called Fat/Fei Tin.

I am mainly looking forward to <The Good, the Bad and the Ugly> and <The Legendary of Ren-Jie>. <The good, the Bad and the Ugly>, because Wayne is lead, FINALLY. He deserves it, and I know he won't let us down w/ his acting. I want to see <The Legendary of Ren-Jie> because Leila is in it, and it seems to be very interesting too!

I am not too excited for <Burning Flames III>, since the second one was a disappointment to me, and I don't really like Kevin Cheng, and especially since he is leading over Wong Hei, which I don't think is fair. Also, not really a big Myolie fan either.

It'll be interesting to see more of Sonija. It's a shame that she is not in any of the Grand productions this year.

I hope what you said is true. After Myolie not being nominated for BEst Actress this year, I really hope she gets it in 2009. I think it's likely, since she has the grand production BF3 in her hands and all to herself. Let's just hope she gets many series this year!

I'm looking forward to seeing Burning Flames III and The Legendary of Ren-Jie.

The Burning Flames III: I want to see how they're going to play this one out. It's pretty hard to top the first and the second one (the first is an absolute classic). I loved the first and second one a lot, so I really hope this third one doesn't disappoint.

The Legendary of Ren-Jie: I'm mainly excited to see Bernice and Leila in something. It's been a while since I've seen either of them in a series. It kinda sucks that TVB is promoting people like Kate Tsui or Linda Chung and forgetting such great potential such as Leila. But anyways, hope that's good.

I can't wait for BF3 and TA3, those two series I am looking forward to watch with the stars and great storylines.

Never mind whethere they turn into 30s....just support them wherever they have new series....I am waiting for The Academy Full Throttle and all of them...i think...haha

what is the point if this thread? just to tell us the age of the stars? I really do not mind if they turn to 30 but they still need almost a year to become 30 because they all borned in sep -december. hahaha...is there another thread which is recommend TVB series too?

Can't wait for the Academy 3, Burnign Flame 3 and Soft Centered Storm (in that order!!)

Also I do think Academy with be first sow to air in 2009. I think probably after Gem of Life or the one after that!
