Hello everyone (^o^)>
I'm back I have the impression to talk like Schwarzeneger in "Terminator"... hahaha
"Survivor" live
- on Music Station: I liked how JunSu said lyrics slowly in the beginning ("everytime, everyday"), I found that Jaejoong had less powerful voice (a little sick like Yoochun?) but worked well, Yunho made a little mistake, and Changmin iiiiiiiii
- on Music Japan: what drank the cameraman??? the beginning was good (screen turned B&W to colors, zoom on Yunho and Jaejoong's hands, then on Yoochun's chest) but then at certain moments... I suspect him to LIIIIKE zooms and (counter)zooms. Frankly, sometimes it brought a good screen effect (like the part where Junsu, Yunho, Yoochun then Junsu again sang before the dance part, or at the end with Changmin saying "Love, love..."); however it was as if we were swinged from left to right
On the contrary, I found they sang all well (Yunho succeeded, yeeepah)
- on Music Figter: it was good (the cameraman here had not any kind of <fetichism> like the previous one), but maybe one word pops out of my mind.... <tired> ? Jaejoong, Yunho and Yoochun seemed a little elsewhere (above all the two first ones because I think they somehow forced themselves to sing, their voices were hoarse -I hope that I don't make a mistake on the english term-; Yoochun's voice was very soft, so I don't know if it was from his own will to sing lie thaot or if he was sick). Changmin sang better on Music Station for me (at the end, he has had a kind of "tremolo"). Junsu assured just like always, without doing an extraordinary performance. I just think they need a little rest.
So I watched the ''Kiss the baby sky'' MV, and I don't find it exceptional. However, I like Yoochun's parts (he's really into it, which is normal after all since this song is his <baby>

and his voice is very attractive, which don't spoil nothing either) and the "Zoom in" announcers's appearance (those who paint) very much. When announcers are viewed in <bird-angle> (sorry, I don't know how to say it in english) with their scattered pictures on the ground with the lowering light, I felt very calm and overjoyed at the same time. It doesn't surprise me that main colors used for this MV are blue and white, it fits so well the atmosphere! Moreover, it's true smiles in this MV warm hearts and brings a touch of blissful hope.
Fairily_Spark Thanks for the answer with « Just te two of us ».
Oh, funny for Norwich! but I don't remember having heard that it was a big city. Have you worked there?
You don't appreciate the way they have arranged « Take your hands »? I agree that it's a little weird, even if that doesn't bother me (I'm fond of all that is a little asymmetrical, so...). I believe Yoochun raps in there, doesn't he? It's this part which troubled at first because the transition was very very short. When the song slows for Changmin (and Jaejoong?)'s part, it was perfect
I would like to ask two things (I hope you won't find me too stupid (

'))
- what "TJCK's first tour" correspond to for?
- As for your point of view, why does Avex release "The secret code" so early if "Survivor" single won't have time to be sold out? I don't really understand commercial strategies...
Otherwise, do you find that "Rescue" MV by Kat-tun is better than "Survivor"'s?? I begin thinking I'm one of the few who has liked this last MV over "Rescue"...

OK, "Rescue" impress with its good computer graphics effects (desolated city, big flames...) but "Survivor" MV contains deep meaning (or am I imagining it??). Kat-tun has made a nice job which initially deceived me because I didn't understand the signifiance of dancing with girls, dancing in short (even if it's cool -above all Nakamaru, Taguchi and Akanishi moves- except that the steps didn't match with the music). All what I could reliate to the song meaning was :
1° devastated city and dark/gloomy colors = loneliness, fear and despair
2° rescue someone = run like a crazy man to reach this person
3° flames = S.O.S firemen
Very common-place to me...
And yeah, me too I'm looking forward their "Hey Hey Hey" appearance (the hosts are hilarious, sometimes annoying yet) for the album promotion!
4Tune_Cookie can I call you "Mai" for easier convenience?

JJ should be banned from covering his beautiful smile with his hands.
there's nothing to add
...except I'd expect more smiles from others too (specially in photos, when it's appropriate)

And yep, TSC will be a good present for my birthday; I don't know if home delivery will be delayed since I live in France (hello, expensive international shipping
).
Don't think you're so poor at french. I'm sure I'm worse in german (the first foreign language that I learned and in which I suck in... and when I write in english, I have always a dictionary near me [size="1"] haha)
Anyway, you have good reasons refraining yourself from listening to the tracks previews, and I should do that too (but I don't have listened any previews lately, so... I react like a good girl, I'm saved!!)
The first album release I followed was "Mirotic" too; I knew DBSK almost a year ago, now... I don't like the asian music industry system very much, because it works often on the notion of <trend> (so can conclude that a band, and particularly an idol group like DBSK, could disband in a near future if they are "in" no more, as for the large public?). I have read in a topic from here that some netizens considered DBSK music style didn't renew -I disagree- and sometimes you can't help yourself but to fear anything --SIGH It really gets of my nerves
Oh, I didn't have thought of the "same kanji writing fact" explanation!

So TVXQ is an acronym for the Chinese pronounciation Tong Vfang Xien Qi?
Do you remember Jaejoong's tatoo in his back? it was for sure <TVXQ> written.
I agree with you for MinSu. It reminds me a little the IJIME principle in japanese society (specially at school) and that troubles me when Changmin exagerates teasing his mate. And I see what you mean with Jaejoong (in a video I had seen, Jaejoong asked Junsu excusing him for a remark which was for fun, but which had really hurt Junsu who didn't know this was a joke...)
Otherwise, have you a favourite member in the group, or a few songs you like specially? From my side, I listen more pop-rockish songs (aaaaah, "Rising sun" which has made me stick on this group, the "Dangerous Mind" remix....). I don't have all DBSK albums yet, but I think the best were "T" (3rd japanese album) and "Mirotic" (4rth korean album) because all the songs in there attracted me. I have the intention buying "Tri-angle" later (1rst korean album); it seems cool too, above all if you have in mind this was the beginning of the career band.
ClesiasOops, sorry! you can use my first name <Ivanne>. And I have forgotten if you had given me your name too...?
For the "My feelings won't come true unless I destroy your future" lyrics line, I think that means he won't "possess" the girl / she won't pay attention to him unless she can reach her dreams anymore (do you know Top'solo, the main rapper from Big Bang? his song was dedicated to his ex' and he explained she broke up with him because he didn't think at her enough -- he thought first at his career).
For the YT video, search <Trick(remix : All 5 songs mixed)- TVXQ/DBSK/THSK> posted by tokutokuhada (or tape <mix trick dbsk>). I find that three of the B-side "Trick" singles (if?, close to you and runaway particularly) are more awesome than A-side. And yeah, I would want that they keep doing things like that too. It's why I'm looking forward learning what this "Secret code" 4rth album corresponds to!
If I should choose between the few songs you have mentioned, I woulds make list in this order:
1° "Rising Sun"
2° "Wrong number"
3° "O"
4° "Mirotic"
It's good for you that you don't appreciate much rock because DBSK are more R&B / pop / ballads. It explains why in my case I won't like all their songs (I have told you already I'm not fond of ballads; that's why I don't know if I want to buy "Rising Sun" album because its ballads are less interesting than "Tri-angle" 's). And for me, "Last Angel" is more pop-rock rather than purely rock but I'm not an expert at all (an acquaintance of my brother thought rock songs we listen both were not "hard-rockish" on the contrary of my brother's opinion). I find the Kumi Koda version better than DBSK's; I knew this japanese singer since "Final fantasy"...
I'ts sure fans send such questions, that it makes you sometimes ask what they have put in their food or drinks ("Chamgmin mania" concentrated juice?)... But this is very funny
I'm surprised Jaejoong rarely replies (I thought this would be Yoochun and Junsu in fact). Yunho reacts as if he was a little like an older bro' or even a father...
Did you read the japanese interview in earlier 2009 (I forgot which, maybe when he made the photo showing him with a glass of wine/champagne at the hand) where he was <tricked>?? he was talking about MKMK 2008 and the journalist noticed he had said "girlfriend
S" : I liked how he seemed embarrassed of his mistake!

)
Well, well... I almost forgot that Yoochun and Jaejoong could have been closer speaking their families too (after all, Jaejoong's parents haven't divorced... but they don't share a bedroom together anymore, like he mentioned in a TV program "8(-something)"!

). Plus the fact they have both a tatoo, and Jaejoong's mother like Yoochun (you can see that when they made the "Mission impossible" TV program). And Junsu... I think I know what video you're talking about ("O" period if we judge as for Jaejoong' hair color). I laughed like crazy seeing an other video ("T" period?) where Yoochun, Yunho and Jaejoong talked and introduced themselves with their names, while you could hear in the background Junsu screaming his own name

(it reminds me too that Jaejoong said in Bigeaststation no long before that sometimes he thought in his head "Junsu, SHUT UP" when this last one was too noisy or talkative)
For "Star show", it makes me laugh when Changmin makes a remard concerning his sisters because I remember a certain interview where HE was teased in reason of the fatc that he once had stolen one friend's girlfriend (not as much nice as that either, Changmin

).
Like I explained earlier, I like the "Junsu teasing" when it doesn't overdo. Otherwise, I think immediately at "ijime" and it burdens me.
I understand for your favourite ones; don't you think both are (or were, at least, at their debut) the constant manlier ones from the band? The other three too of course, but in lesser manners. I liked the "What you are" period for Micky, for example (not only then, however it matched him very well, most than te others).
Oh, you two would have liked rather their white outfits for "Survivor" live performances?? I find the black outfits more appealing and appropriate...

Changmin-san → High Tone Miracle Voice ; Junsu-san → Dolphin Voice
thanks for sharing these "Osaka FM radio" informations; do you speak japanese, or have you found translations of these?
I hope you won't think that I poke my nose in affairs which don't concern me, but personally I like rather Jaejoong with 'dark' blond / chestnut-brown hair (like during "Purple line" or now). His normal black attract me less (the "Tri-angle" period was not my cup of tea either, but at least it fitted the concept).
miSSmaeHello, it's weird but I like Yoochun's outfit very much (with Changmin then Yunho's)!! I noticed he wore something on the hips, whereas you don't see that exactly in the MV; moreover, he changed a little his hairstyle compared to the MV (a bandana with breads at right side of the head if I remember well).
JaeAyUmIXxSuHello,
I agree that DBSK sang "Doushite..." better than SMAP during their collaboration. SMAP fans, excuse me! But they performed well in "Purple line".
I wonder what sort of music Junsu created in the "Survivor" off shot video. Oh, do you really appreciate the "Survivor" MV (finally someone else than me) ?
And for "WE ARE", I'm not sure that a MV was really necessary (why don't they have chosen an other song?
grrrr).
By the way, your link to "Just the two of us" by Ravex feat. Tohoshinki doesn't work; what a pity for me...
arron foreverWelcome here! 'hope you will go to this thread sometimes. After all in my country (France), we say "more we are, more we laugh".
zafirahmajdiah Hello, and thanks for sharing!
I like Jaejoong/Changmin/Yunho's handwriting.
I thought that people spelled their band name
Tohoshinki (

OH - MY - GOD !
I should go to bed (why, oh why have I such difficulties writing a post? Sorry to be too talkative)
Bye n'cha
