38-year old Gigi Lai married wealthy Ma Ting Koeng (馬廷強), yesterday Mrs Ma announced the good news through TVB to the media, she said: "I am very happy to tell everyone, I'm already married. Gigi feels more enriched and content with her simple family life now compared to her colorful life as an artiste.

Ms Lok revealed that she did not attend Gigi's wedding, she married near the end of The Year of the Rat, they honeymooned at many places and have returned to Hong Kong. As far as she knows, Gigi's brother Lai Ying did not attend her wedding. Ms Lok disclosed that Gigi did not wear a wedding dress because she has already worn it many times during her filming career. Ms Lok had dinner with Gigi and Mr Ma, Gigi said she is enjoying her life as Mrs Ma, learning to take care of her family, entertaining friends, cooking and decorating her home. Gigi said her family is very important to her, although she misses her TVB colleagues.

When asked about her impression of Mr Ma, Ms Lok couldn't stop her praises, she said he is a very good person and a reliable, low-key businessman, a '120 points' good man. Gigi has experienced a lot, now is the happiest time of her life. She also revealed that Gigi plans to have children.

It is rumored that the wedding banquet will be held on the 16th at the Peninsula Hotel in Hong Kong, Ms Lok said she is not sure. According to sources, Mrs Ma's love nest is mid-level luxury apartment Lan Sum Gok (蘭心閣), worth 70 million dollars, a wedding present to Gigi from Mr Ma.

She looks very happy from the pictures, and hopefully the marriage will be a happy and long-lasting one.
And she looks so beautiful in the pictures, although she's not wearing a wedding gown.
Frankly speaking, they look kinda awkward together in the pictures. Maybe cause Gigi looks much younger (just goes to show she takes care of her physical appearance/health very well!) than him but age-wise, she's not much younger than him anyways.

I too disagree with those who say she's a gold-digger (no offense). I'm not being biased but really, if she was a gold-digger, she wouldn't have chose Mr. Ma and would've went for someone her age and much better-looking. And with Gigi's looks, status and personality, I think she can get almost anyone she wants. But instead she chose him, so I'm thinking it's true love. Gigi also did have a history of liking older men, and I'm assuming it's cause she thinks they can teach her something.

Gem is going to end.. I'm really going to miss watching her in series.

Just finished watching episode 82. The sisters reconciled in the end. I liked the ending scenes whereby their mother reminisced about the three sisters during their younger days.

Mogi's scenes ended when Terrence handed to Constance the ring that he helped her to retrieve. Their future, it seems are left for us to speculate.

Splashed on cover page of Next Magazine published on Wednesday, was news that Lai is two months pregnant. Gigi Lai absent from her last film premiere, at home enjoying life

Eric Suen, Max Zhang, Yuen Wah, Lam Ka Wah and etc. are the leads in South Gospel film "Team of Miracle: We Will Rock You" (流浪漢世界盃), last night the premiere was held. Although this film was Gigi Lai's last production before she got married, she didn't come to the event to promote. Good friends, Ada Choi, Virgina Lok and Nick Cheung came to support them. Ms. Lok said that many of TVB artistes came to support the film, making the scene more lively.
