Haven't posted in a long time!! Hi, everyone!

Thanks, lilsleepyhead916, for the video of Gillian singing "Next Stop, Tin Hau"! The only other version I found of it was when all the fans were singing along, and Gillian wasn't heard at all. I agree that Gillian's singing style has definitely changed. Her voice is much more solid in this performance. Mostly, I think it's because she's actually letting her voice flow upon its range and fully projecting it; back in the Twins days, often I'd notice that she'd somewhat be compressing her voice, perhaps because she lacks enough confidence and perhaps to force her voice onto a higher note, therefore her voice turns out sound a little "air-y" and weak. Judging from this video, it feels as if Gillian has gained more confidence than she's ever had!!

I think Gillian's been singing "Next Stop, Tin Hau" so much is because all of her performances have taken place in Mainland, and that's basically Twins' most well-known song there, by which even non-fans would know of it. I really hope that we could get a TV-recorded performance of Gillian's singing sometime soon. That way, we could have a better judgment of her singing.

I'm so glad to hear that TFWB will be premiering soon, but I hope they do start some kind of promotion. On an extra note, maybe EEG should leak Gillian and Alex's duet prior to the premier date for some extra exposure...

Maricon I totally agree with you. I can see myself falling at first step. I think Gillian might have worn shoes similar to these before because she walking around in them with ease. I can see her fashion is way better than before and she also trying different hairstyles.

Gillian has always been a pretty big fashionista. You can always count on her to promote the latest trends of fashion. I wouldn't worry about Gillian tripping though; she's the same girl who can dance agilely in five-inch heels.

Well, with the Mainland performance where she sang three songs, it was supposed to be aired on TV. However, that particular channel had cut Gillian's portion out of the broadcasting version. If not, we would've had a TV version of that performance. I'd predict that her upcoming new song would be her duet with Alex for TFWB; hopefully, EEG can plug that song to the radio stations.

Gillian Chung: Edison's apology came too late

Less than one week after Cecilia Cheung expressed her acceptance to Edison Chen's apology to her and other female victims of the sex photos scandal, Gillian Chung also said that although she accepted his apology, it came too late.

Chen recently was in an interview with CNN and apologized to the female victims of the sex photos scandal for the first time.

Chung has been very cooperative in all interviews since she resumed work after the scandal but declined to comment on any questions regarding Chen.

She emphasized, "I will not reply any questions that have to do with him."
Declining to comment on camera about Chen's return to Hong Kong and his interview content with CNN, Chung told reporters off camera without any fae, "I accept (his apology), but it came too late."

Just as her words blurted out, her manager froze. Chung then added, "Sorry, the words just came out of my mouth; but they came from the bottom of my heart."

Chung also expressed that since the matter is over and she has braced herself and she wished the best for Chen as well.

However, they would avoid working with Chen again.

Thanks for news mv_288. They interviewed Mani at the signing of Leo event and she mentioned Gillian working on 4 ads. I know about Tough Jeans, Elne, and Veva but whats the last one. She also mentioned that Gillian would be appearing at larger scale concert at the end of the year. I was thinking this has something to do with Twins performance at the end of the year. That would be a nice Christmas present for Twins fans. In two months we see Gillian's first musical and I can't wait. Hope she does good job and make her fans proud.

I don't think the "Veva Phone" was one of Gillian's ads. I think she just showed up at the event to promote it. She probably will have two more ads during the other half of the year.

Anyway, can't wait until her musical! I wonder how she'll look like. Hope she has plenty of time to rehearse.

Synopsis of "The Fantastic Water Babes":

A legend has it that upon the Afternoon Beach of Cheung Chau, Guan Yin, and the people of Cheung Chau respectively referred to him as the "Guan Yin of the Waters". It has been said that the "Guan Yin of the Waters" is a very handsome man, and the "Queen of Winds", Lee Lai Shan, had won the first Olympics Gold Medal for Hong Kong, just after meeting him...

Living on Cheung Chau for more than 20 years, Law Giu (Gillian Chung) has also claimed to have landed eyes on the "Guan Yin of the Waters". It came to be when she was dumped by her boyfriend, Long Sei, known as the "Swimming Prince", and then humiliated publicly by his new girlfriend, Mei Mei (Ma Yuet), known as the "School's Swimming Flower", she tried to commit suicide by jumping into the ocean!! During her coma, Law Giu had seen some illusions, as if the "Guan Yin of the Waters" was waving at her. After waking up from her coma, Law Giu vowed to seek vengeance. She challenged Mei Mei to a competition in the swimming pool. However, Law Giu is completely incapable of skillful swimming, hence she kidnapped Cheung Chi Yuen (Alex Fong), who is a famous, yet fake and gluttonous, swimming athlete, to Cheung Chau, and hid him in the crazy hero, Hai Nui (Stephen Fung)'s house, and forced him to improve her swimming in the shortest period of time. Chi Yuen had tried numerous ways in escaping, yet everyone in the village loved Law Giu dearly, and they all stopped him collaboratively. Therefore, Chi Yuen had to live up to reality, and wholeheartedly started training her and her best friends.

Chi Yuen continuously used reverse psychology to strengthen Law Giu's confidence and will to fight, and the two began developing affections for one another. At the same time, Chi Yuen appears to be extra caring for Ah Yuk, who has always been weak and sick for all her life, however he is actually just trying to make Law Giu jealous, and he succeeds.

Things get more and more out of hand; while Law Giu's love for Chi Yuen becomes deeper and deeper, she eventually releases him and allows him to return to Hong Kong. Chi Yuen also began to understand where his affections lie; upon all this, he found out that his girlfriend had been cheating on him, so he has no reason to hesitate anymore. Wow! Thank you Little purple. Its sound like a interesting story but there no promotion for it yet and June 20 is next Saturday. If its not released next Saturday then let be at the end of this month because I really want to see this. Its a different role for Gillian and I'm sure she was very funny. I wonder how the rehearse for the musical is going. I know she is very nervous but I have faith that she will make us all proud.
