ha that pic is from the I Ought to Be in Pictures poster. Gillian actually said in an interview that her image/costume of that poster was designed by the famous HK designer Thomas Chan. He's famous for being fashion designer for HK fashion icons such as Sammi Cheng, Faye Wong and etc. Gillian said the whole color tone for her outfit and poster was being retouched. She was not exactly wearing red when shooting the poster. I think the poster was well done and Gillian looks unique in it.

Gillian is the kind of actress who could fit-in both mainstream and non-mainstream, comedy and serious drama, those totally opposite types which I think is the most unique characteristic of her.

By the way the Playground event is going to take place in HK. Good for HK fans since they haven't seen her in functions for awhile.

The reporters asked her about the incident again because Bobo Chan came out the other day and accepted an interview so obviously the reporters wanted gillian comment on that. She said she's happy to see bobo found a good man.

Also she said a lot of her friends asked her to buy tickets for her stage play she said the amount that she bought for them reached 30K (HKD).
These so-called friends! If they want to see the play they should buy the tickets themselves! just my opinion. lol.

And she confirmed by herself that the new plugged song is the theme song for her stage play. She said she also wanted to give the song as a tribute to her friend who died from cancer recently. so sad!

The reportered asked why didnt she participate in the charity show for Taiwan's typhoon flooding tragic. She said that she wanted to help on her own, by herself. She didn't want her appearance on the charity show to distort the focus and meaning of the show cus obviously the reporters are going to put the focus on her and not the charity. LOL. So sad and funny at the same time. She really knows her business!!

And about 80 fans went to support her at the event today. After the event she went upstairs to see things around (it's a mall i'd guess) and people seeing her were surprised and welcoming. They even stopped just to see more of her. The feeling was warm and nothing bad.

Cathy, Mani did confirm that Gillian was secretly recording new music so I don't know whats this about Hopefully they are not backing out of this decision because I'm really looking forward to her new album. I know a lot of fans wants twins to return but I feel it would be fair on both ends if Charlene and Gillian had their own solo album. Well, that is my opinion.

Gillian mentioned herself that her schedule is booked up til next year so if she not releasing a album what is she doing. Maybe a MOVIE I hope EEG confirm this soon and stop confusing the public so much. They are starting to get annoying.

Also, Gillian looked awesome at the event today. Very young and fresh. She has toned down a little you tell in her face.

well i know for sure gillian is going to release another song which part of the lyrics already came out. the reason that it is not out yet is that the lyric composer is still fixing it.

i haven't watched the video Cathy provided but i think gillian is just saying that based on what she has already done. so at this point of the stage she probably only has one song recorded and for the record eeg said she's scheduled to release the album at the end of the year which is 4 months from now. so a lot of things could happen in 4 months.

Oh, I hope Gillian will release a solo album! We've been waiting so long for some music from her! I hope the second song will be released soon!

Anyway, thank god no one ever mentions Charlene on here, because there are SO much UNNEEDED tension in Charlene's thread. It's kind of funny. Hahahahahhahaha. for my opinion i'd think either way works fine with me. i will support gillian no matter what. whether or not she releases a solo album is not of my main concern.

i hope she enjoys every work that she is doing and have a blast. she has a lot of potentials and a lot of sides of her that she has not discovered yet and i would like to see her exposing and exploring new things bit by bit.

as for charlene i'm sure real charlene fans know what their idol wishes for. charlene is equally kind-hearted as gillian but some of her fans are not. some people can only go through good times with their friends or idols or whatever. when there are bad or down times they just turn and stay away. it's okay. it's by people's choice.

however the fact that they're totally neglecting charlene's take and feelings and still call themselves fans is a mystery to me. lol. and this mystery i have no intention to look into it.

It seems like Gillian will be featured in 蔣志's "表態" art gallery. She's suppose to act out a crying pose.

Also, according to an interview during the playground event, Gillian said that she's not in the new Jeff Lau movie. She said that she was there to visit him, and she wanted to try on one of the looks. However, what confuses me is that there was a list saying what scenes she was in. Also, for the picture that was released of her, it looked very "serious", like a shot of her during actual filming. If she was really trying on the clothes, wouldn't she pose in a more funny, goofy, and relaxed way? Like the pictures of herself that she takes from day to day (referring to the pictures of her/Twins in the 2008 mandarin album). I don't know, it's just what I think. Also, if she really had a part in this movie, but was removed due to being exposed, then I think that it sucks. If the producers really wanted Gillian, but knew of the consequences of having her, they should have thought it through better, that way, she wouldn't have to waste her time filming. I just hope that China will "unban" her. Is she really banned anyway?

i read from a very blurred version of the newest issue of Ming Pao Magazine (Urgh!!! the pics are so hard to read! i really miss twinsfans.net for their super clear magazine scans and speedy updates!). They (Mingpao reporters) went to see gillian rehearse for the stage play just this thursday. gillian is doing better and better each day.

gillian said she once asked the director if she could secretly put her lines on the stage somewhere because there are just so many lines that she has to remember. and of course the director said no. lol.

all the performers and the director are having a great time collaborating with gillian. they say that gillian is so used to shooting movies, that is, doing a short scene each time (for each cut), so she tends to repeat the lines she had said like 10 min ago, and she keeps looping herself and it made everybody laughed to death. lol.

but now as rehearse time increases, she's more used to this kind of performance, and it turned to another funny thing, which is she tends to add a lot of lines that are not in the script. she adds so many lines that a 3 hour play might turn into a 4 hour play! lol. that was just a joke of course. but it's fun to see some trivias from the play rehearsal.

gillian says that she has someone records down her rehearsal everyday so she could watch how she's doing at home from a 3rd person's view. she says that her biggest problem is her voice not being loud enough. and she's a bit worried that loud voices make the whole thing look unnatural. but then again that's how it is in a stage play. they have to make the audience able to hear them without a mic. (if anyone has seen the picture URL i posted for the place that she's going to hold her play. you'll know it is quite a large hall) so she's using all kinds of method to maintain her voice now. she said she's used so much of her voice that sometimes her voice sounds so husky like a man. lol.

anyway 5 days left until her play begins!! so excited!!

I would just like to thank the moderators who are now looking into the issue of the fake posts.

This of course is a serious matter that runs the gamut of identity theft.

If you notice, the fake posts were written in a very harsh, vulgar and crude English, which included name calling and personal attacks against other forum members and were purposely designed in order to get me banned from the forum. Some in Charlene's forum even had the audacity to suggest it was perfectly keeping within forum rules to use a very similar username and speak on my behalf.

It seems some members were very upset that I went into Charlene's forum in defence of Gillian, and rather than deal with me on an intelectual level, they resorted to personal attacks and underhanded tactics. It seems they would rather go on believing in the misguided notion that Gillian is some sort of albatross who was holding Charlene back all these years. It is exactly this kind of mentality that was and is keeping Gillian and Twins from achieving their full potential.

In closing, I would like to thank Joey for the inspiration. Even tho I'm not too fond of her music, I have really come to respect her as a human being, and a worthy friend of Gillian's. Like Joey said, Gillian is too kind-hearted and others must speak up on her behalf.

Twinspirit, I'm glad the mods are taking care of that problem for you. My advice to you is to stay over here in Gillian thread so they won't have no reason to come over here. I understand you want to speak on Gillian's behalf but doing it in a thread where there is nothing but haters is not the way to go. Anyway, just read this news today. There was a voting sometime ago, asking the fans to vote for their favorite actress to act in the new TV series 'Madam White Snake'. There have received millions of votes and according to the publicity director Mr. Xie, there have chosen 5 actresses from the voting exercise. One of the actresses is Gillian. Recently, the company has been in contact with the respective agent. But at the moment, the Director, producer is satisfied with one actress. But Mr. Xie said that they can’t disclose now.

The reporter has contacted the Director Liu Fung Sheng and he has confirmed about the votes. Liu Fung Sheng has directed a few popular TV Series in China and it includes the last Princess and The Legend of Chu Liu Xiang.
