Wow Gillian look so cute in those pics, I really love her hat. I have to admit that Gillian is very talented in acting. This is her first time acting on stage and she does very good job, the play is really funny I laught really hard. Alot of EEG artist there to support her and gave her flowers hope she will have good rest for next show Go Gillian.

Good job Gillian on your first night I knew she would do a great job. I actually said a little prayer for her. Its so heartwarming to see others EEG artists go and support her. Also, all the flowers are gorgeous. I sure she made EEG very proud. Keep up Gillian!!!

Congrats to Gillian on a superb performance on her first night. My friend who actually went and saw the show was so excited and she said it was just amazing. It was really funny and Gillian's performance was incredible. This is really good news && can't wait for more success for Gill. New Gillian event! Not sure if it's confirmed since it's the same days as her musical..

Gillian's play on August 31 is cancelled. So its a possibility we might get to see her at an event on that day hopefully. What happened to the concert with Anthony Wong? I was looking forward to that concert because she was suppose to have a dance number.

Yup Jazz, members from twinscct is planning on releasing Gillian's play on dvd and might also include Charlene's musical as well. We will see what the result is but I agree that it is a great plan. Thanks for the pics also. Gillian looks gorgeous in her ball dress and the promo video is awesome.

Lastly, I hope Gillian get some rest before starting new projects because you can tell by her eyes that she is really tired. Waiting for more news about her play from last night.

I've been searching high and low for some media reviews of Gillian's stageplay. So far, all I've come up with was a small review posted on straitstimes.com, a singapore website.

In a nutshell, it said that she performed to a near-capacity audience in the 1,200 seat Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts, but offered no comments on her performance.

It did however supply the following post performance quotes:

From Gillian Chung...................... "I really learned a lot since I started rehearsing"

From co-star Shaw Me Kwan......."She was working very hard during rehearsals. She has improved a lot"

From co-star Chen Shu Yi.............."When I performed on stage for the first time, I was lost after I finished. She knew what she was doing. That's a great start".

Sorry, that's all I could find. If I come across anything else, I will be sure to pass it on.

Twinspirit, I guess me and you are on the same page. I been searching everywhere too and I can't find not one review that not coming from a fan. We all know she improved but how does the media feel about it. We probably have to wait til after the final play to get any feedback. I'm not expecting eveything to be positive because after all this is hk we are talking about. Looking at the outcome of the first night I say she was brilliant.

bxalann, I look up the event Gillian will be attending on August 31 and look like another radio show.

Also, on Gillian's Baidu Bar there are fans saying she is filming a movie but no name or anything. Knowing how secretive EEG is about Gillian's schedule anything is possible. If she filming a movie I hope they reveal what is soon because I'm trying not to get all excited for nothing.

Twinspirit, thanks for the article. Yup, the article was written at the end of July around the time of Jazz beer event. Such a positive article about Gillian and what she wants for herself. We probably won't get any feedback from the media until the end of this week. The feedback I mostly been reading is from fans who truly loves Gillian. The responses are so touchings.

Thanks for clips Jazz, I think we all want to see Gillian make another action movie or any movie for that matter. I'm game for anything action or romance.

On the article twinspirit posted, the writer wrote something about "Fantastic WaterBabes". I wonder when it'll ever air! I can't wait for it, and at the same time I feel that the movie should air during Spring or Summer preferably. It's more fitting to the season!

I hope Gillian will accept a new movie since there are 'no' plans for another album yet. I don't know why Mani confirmed the album and now taking it back. There's no way there's going to be an album soon because Charlene is releasing one, and there's also no way both Gillian and Charlene will promote their albums together.. Once again, Mani does it w/ her favoritism! As always.

I have nothing against Charlene but real Twins fans going to wonder why Charlene coming out with two or three albums and Gillian none. If Charlene wants to come out with 5 albums that is her business but I want to hear something from Gillian. Also, Mani should think before she speaks. I always feel that Mani favors Charlene more. And hearing that, I'm sure many Charlene fans will disagree but I'm a Charlene fan also, so they can deny it all they want. There has been many favoring since they debuted so no one can deny that. Seriously, Mani CONFIRMED that Gillian was going to release an album, but I'm guessing she wants Charlene to have an album also? But she already had one this year.. I'm not sure how many she needs.. I think it's only far if they both have one or they BOTH have two.. but that's not the case. Charlene has two but Gillian has NONE. Hopefully she'll have a movie by the end of this year..

If Mani favors Charlene more then EEG needs to gives Gillian her own personal manager. A manager needs to be fair on both ends. Yes Gillian had suffered a fall last year but it is very clear that shes still very popular. Her fans adore her and support anything she does. I mean, look at the play and how successful it was. While so many people thought she going fall completely on her face, They were wrong. I can't say I'm huge fan of Charlene because I always focus on Gillian's career but if she comes out with an album then Gillian should be allow to also.

Also, Joey mentioned that she saw Gillian recording in the studio and felt she was doing a good job. I don't know maybe there is hope after all. Gillian has a radio event tomorrow and maybe she will talk about it.

Yes, I agree. Mani has issues though. I'm a fan of Charlene too, I've purchased all her solo albums too and I enjoy watching her movies. I just don't like going into her thread and chatting there because most of the fans there can't get Gillian's name out of their mouths. It's like, they don't feel good if they don't bash on her, they need to do it to get to the end of the day. Weird.

I feel you on not wanting to post in Charlene thread because of all the hating of Gillian. I main reason I go over there because they might have news that involves Gillian. Yes they make it very clear they don't like Gillian and point out everything wrong about her. To them Gillian is just a waste talent at EEG. Which is very sad to actually feel that way about someone you never talk to in person. But I guess everyone have their favorites and will defend them no matter what. No I'm not a huge fan of Charlene but I do wish her the very best and I admit her music is pretty good. I just wish Mani would be fair to both girls and more clear on her plans for them.

Gillian's play is finally finished! Judging from the comments it's seems to have been a success. Stephan Chan went to watch her play on the second night. He wrote in his blog that Gillian's overall performance was good, especially the crying scenes where he can sense that the tears came from her heart. But there is, obviously, still room for improvement, especially in terms of saying her lines. Thanks Cathy. That really helped. I really wish people would stop asking her questions about the scandal. Its obvious that she doing much better now after her comeback. I don't know how her song is doing on the charts but its spreading though Youtube very fast and its getting many positive reviews. I'm very proud of her.

I'm glad she got someone like Stephen Chan in her corner. He keeps the public updated on her progress and he also gives her great advice on how to better herself.

I agree with Gill#1fan that Gillian needs to get some rest. I'm sure those 4 nights really got the best of her. Hope to see more of Gillian soon.

The interviewer should have focus on questions her fans want to hear. When is her album coming out or any dramas, movies etc. Gosh, I guess many people is still stuck in the past. Oh well, maybe the next interviewer will ask more questions about things that don't concern the scandal.

i dont mind hearing her talking about the past. that means it is something that she is able to talk about now. that she is over it. and she is open to discuss it. the attitude is positive. so why can't we be positive.
