Thanks aznvi3tgurl06, Gillian have the most amazing fans. She is so lucky that many people adore her. That cake look awesome and yummy too. Also, I'm beginning to love Joey and Vincy more and more everyday. Its so hard to find such great friends in the world and Gillian is surrounded by them. Shes truly blessed.

I'm so happy the play was a success. I kind of knew it would be because shes a hard working girl who strives to be the best. Hopefully in the near future she can experience a stage play or musical again but right now I'm ready for a movie. I guess that kind of obvious since I keeping wanting to hear more about her plans.

A fan on TwinsCCT said Gillian will be releasing an EP which is confirmed by Mani? And she should be filming Chapman's film which Gillian already met up w/ him as we seen in pictures.. And the movie is I think a love story? NOT CONFIRMED YET.

Yeah, I was expecting an EP because of the recording shes doing. I hope first single has a really addicting beat for all the fans to enjoy. "Living in the other" was ok but its not something she should release as a first single unless it was for a movie soundtrack or drama. It was mostly a plug song for her fans to hear until her first single is released because notice there is no video and shes not performing it at all. She said its for the play but no one mentioned her performing it during those four nights.

As for the movie I choose to believe that it might actually happen but I wish it wasn't a love story. Hopefully it turns out to be thriller or action I'm not a big fan of love stories but as long as I get see Gillian I'm happy.

Lastly, What else can you say about those pics other than "flawless". She has the most beautiful smile. It is amazing how much she matured. Thanks for sharing bxalann

Yes, I agree. Gillian mentioned that "Living Aboard" was for the stage play and it was. She said she wasn't going to perform it, she said the song will only play a little during some scenes and that's pretty much it. In the photo booklet given out at the play, it said it was the themesong and there were lyrics printed also, I don't think Gillian will be plugging that song however.

Anyway, I hope the new movie will be a really big budget one. I hope it's not like those typical HK movies. It should be really big budget and will land them some nominations for some awards. That'll be great and a good start.

Gill#1fan, I totally agree. I'm still waiting on TFWB also. Whats the hold up? If they not going to release the movie on big screen then put on DVD so fans can have a chance to watch it. Also, the media asking Joey about a scene that suppose been cut out of the play. The media is never going to stop are they. I guess everything Gillian do from a play or movie she will eventually get cut from it. Why would EEG cut any scene from a play they produced? The media is really annoying.

Guys! Remember when Gillian wore the cartoon dress and she won an award and we didn't know what award it was?! Well, an interview popped up on TwinsCCT and it turns out that Gillian won "Most Fashionable Artist from HK"! (Kinda figured since it was a Fashion Party) How great is that? She also said the award is part of Charlene's also since they won the award once together and it should be for Charlene's and Joey's also since they're both stylish also. How sweet.

Cool! I always wonder what the award was for. Yeah, I totally agree that is something Charlene and Gillian should have shared together. I have yet seen Charlene wear anything twice except for hats or shoes. Charlene is very creative with her style while Gillian style is more on the comfortable side especially since her comeback. I fact that she received that award is such honor and she did very cute that night. Thanks for info.

So glad to hear that Gillian will be coming out with an EP. But we've all heard this kind of happy talk before. I won't get my hopes up until I actually see something in the stores. Right now I'd be thrilled with a Gillian Chung commemorative postage stamp. Something. Anything.

If and when something does come out, I hoping it will be totally different from what Charlene has done. I just looked at Charlene's new video and OMG! It's like, if you've seen and heard one Charlene song then you've seen and heard them all. Individually the songs are all very nice but collectively there seems to be a 'oneness' to all of them.

Charlene's fans seem to think that Charlene is now spreading her wings and achieving new and dizzying heights now that she has broken free of that ball and chain known as Gillian. But I think the joke is one them. Charlene has been pigeon-holed into a world of bittersweet drivel-drab ballads and 'love gone wrong' songs. Same old, same old. Puts you to sleep. Too one-dimensional. Every song and video has the same sound, look and feel.

Now, for the first time I am clearly able to see who the true artistic catalyst behind the whole TWINS phenomena must have been. It was only when Gillian was brought into equation, that sh*t happened. What did the trick was the combination of 'Sweet & Sour'.

Let me throw out this hypethetical question to all the fans of both girls. Suppose EEG was to hold a concert which was one third Charlene, one third Gillian, and one third Twins. Which part of the show do you think would be most greatly anticipated? Need I even ask?

Well Mani already said back when it was first announced that Gillian' solo project was going to be on the same lines as Charlene's album. Although Charlene's songs are nice I would prefer to hear what Gillian taste in music is. I hope it is different because it will mark her return to the music industry as a solo artist. Also, I hope EEG is putting their all into this album because the first single will reveal whether or not her album will sale. But of course I have faith in her and will stand by her when its released. After reviewing so many fan videos on Baidu and Youtube, I really believe her album will do just fine.

I read some of the interview at gillfans and Gillian mentioned the EP will be coming out in December. It also mentioned that Nancy Sit was so impressed by Gillian's performance during the play that it moved her to tears. Nancy said she would like to work with Gillian sometime in the future. So I'm thinking we should hear a single at the end of this month or next month hopefully. I can't wait.

Gillian's song "Living in Another Place" was nice but not exactly wht I think she should use for her comeback EP. Hopefully it's going to be a really catchy song, which should bring more sales! Glad her stage performance was such a success, this definitely gave her a boost in her comeback.

Did they ever release the movie "Trivial Matters"? I know the movie features both Edison and Gillian so maybe they never released it due to the scandel? I wanted to see tht movie for the longest time.

I think it's okay for some reporters to ask about the past, in terms of the scandal. If Gillian can answer those questions I think it will prove to alot of people that this scandal is behind her, and it will not affect her anymore. Anxiously awaiting Gill's next project and her EP!

"Living Aboard" is just a themesong for her stage play, it's not the official plugged song off her EP. That, we'll have to wait for.

The movie was released quite a long time ago, sometime during the end of 2007 and there has been promotions of it. They never talked about Gillian and Edison, it was always about Gillian and Juno since they were in the same mini story. Gillian got a lot of praises for the movie too!

WOW! I am quite sure they'll love TWINS in India. Hopefully this will open many doors for Gillian and TWINS and ultimately pave the way for many future releases. I know EEG showcased TFWB at Cannes 2009 as part of their product highlights package but have not heard anything since. Maybe they feel the HK market is not quite ready for Gillian and are therefore shopping her to other global markets.

gillian was invited to nancy sit's show because nancy went to see the play and was touched by gill's performance so she invited her to the radioshow to talk some more about the aftershow thoughts and some upcoming plans i think. the radio has not been aired yet for my knowledge so dont know at this point what new infos we have.
but on the newspapers today they all say that gill said something about releasing an album (rather than an EP) at the end of the year. so i guess everything is still in progress nothing about her music side is confirmed yet at this point. only thing for sure (90% sure) is she'll start filming a movie soon.

i'm sure she'll get busier each day so i'm not worried about her upcoming plans. eeg's been a lot more considerate about gillian's job choices since the incident. they've been exploring new things for her and so far so good!!!

TWINS MAY REUNITE THIS YEAR

According to reports now coming in from MingPao, it seems the reunification of the beloved girl group TWINS may be coming sooner rather than later.

In an interview by Nancy Sit at the Metro Radio Station, Gillian confirmed that she will be releasing a "special album" later this year. She is now only waiting for the company to decide if she can once again work with Charlene Choi in the capacity as TWINS. Gillian herself hopes that this will come to pass. The reunification of TWINS now seems inevitable due mostly to the HK audience's overwelmingly supportive and accepting stance to her critically acclaimed stageplay, which Gillian now claims to be addicted to.


My take.

There no longer seems to be a legitimate reason to keep the two girls apart, other than the fact it may intercede with the strides Charlene has made as a solo artist. Despite having good chart and retail numbers, Charlene never did and probably never will achieve the street 'cred' artists and their companies desire. Never did you see any Charlene t-shirts en masse, nor any sort of a real Charlene 'buzz'. Her live performances were only met with lukewarm applause and pale in comparison to the ones TWINS received during their heyday. Audiences generally crave something that truly excites them, and TWINS more then aptly filled the bill and always rose to the occassion.

Gillian Chung (Ah Gill) accepted an interview at the Metro Radio station by Nancy Sit yesterday. Ah Gill expressed that she will be releasing a special album at the end of the year. She is waiting for the company to decide if she can work with Charlene Choi (Ah Sa) as Twins. She herself also hopes that will happen. Ah Gill just finished her stage play, and already she is addicted to it. Talking about Andy Lau denied he was married before, and now he was found out, Ah Gill said everybody wants to marry him. Anyway, that's really good news that Gillian confirmed the album! And it's going to be a "special" album. Whatever that means, I'm really excited! Maybe there'll be one or two Twins duets in there? Can't believe it's going to be an album rather than an EP! Can't wait!

I think a romance will be something new for Gillian. The director is going to be Heiward Mak (麥曦茵) she's a new director, who has only directed one film, but she received a nomination at the Hong Film Awards 2009 under the "Best New Director" category. I guess it'll be something new for Gillian...afterall, she can't be doing action flicks all the time, right? I'm starting to wonder who the male lead is going to be..

Hmm..Gillian said that she's still in the process of selecting songs..the producer of the album (Chan Siu Kei) actually wanted her to have a go at composing..he actually wanted her to hum a tune during the days she was doing her stage play so this song can represent her emotions and feelings during the days she was doing her play...but unfortunately, she didn't manage to come up with anything..

Oh yeah, a fan asked Gillian at her function today whether "I ought to be in pictures" will be coming out on DVD and she said no wish I had chosen to go back to HK in August rather than June sigh..

They also have a lot of pictures that are outside of functions..like they have pictures of Gillian after she finished recording the radio interview yesterday etc.

the trait of stage play itself is not like the showbiz. in fact it is very different.

the fact that a showbiz person like gillian herself is stepping into the professional stage play area is making the stage play showbiz-like. my english is not good but hope you get the idea. there are different kinds of stage plays. the kind that gillian did is the serious drama kind and usually requires talented performance art school graduates to be on that kind of stage. the audience are very different from showbiz audience.

so it does not surprise me much for there's not much news for the play ending.
gillian received overall good critics and has opened herself another door is the most important gain.

in my definition, one does not necessarily have to have all the media attention = good or hit or whatever.

have not heard the interview gillian did with nancy sit yet but from the press release side there's not much new.

Thanks for the info Cathy and ootorirei, I hope she has a wide selection of songs also. Slow songs are nice but put some upbeat songs in also. I'm happy to hear shes slowly preparing for the album and not rushing. She will surprise us like she always does when come to her work.

If she has a good co-star than I'm sure whatever role she plays would be worth watching. Good to hear a director is actually giving her chance to prove herself. But what happened with Chapman? It hard to get too excited about Gillian plans because most of it just rumors or media nonsense.
Mani mentioned that Gillian is being offered many scripts for dramas but now some people are saying that shes "banned" in mainland. Well for somebody who is "banned" she doing really well in China with all the events and concerts she attends.

Wow Gillian look so beautiful in those pics especially at the event. I am so happy to heard that Gillian will release an album, I know her album will success when it release, because all of her fan will support her.
