Mine is Tavia of course, because she acted for 10 years and why did TVB have to promoted Linda when she cannot acts.


You can see that from HOG,HOG2, THE GEM OF LIFE, she got lots of screen time and been really popular. From then she started to sing and got her personal mv disc. and all the fa dan got less screen time. I WISH that others can be promoted but defitnetly not linda.

I like both but I think Tavia's acting is a little bit more better.
Most people were grateful she got Best Supporting. ;]

If you think about it, TVB promoting Linda is actually a good thing ..
lots of people usually complain about TVB promoting talentless people,
for someone like Linda, we should be grateful TVB is promoting such
a down to earth girl ~ (this sounds like i'm a fan lol)

Too hard of a choice for me. I mean both Tavia ands Linda are my favorite actresses.

Tavia's acting skills and crying skills are really good. You will know when she's about to cry. Her nose will turn all red and tears turns to fall out.

Linda's acting and crying skills have improved so much ever since her first series when I saw her was in "Virtues of Harmony II" and in most recent performance in "The Gem of Life," "Moonlight Resonance" and Legend of the Demigods." Great improvement.

If i had to choose..
I would think that Tavia acts better than Linda but i do have to say that Linda is not bad.
She may be a lil over-promoted but like what themilkl-SUGAR said...Linda can act and promoting her isnt such a bad thing...

Tavia has been with the company a lot longer (already 10 years, wow time passed fast) but I think she still is a better actress (Even when she first started compared to Linda's). But i'm a fan of Linda though (because of her character in hog)

But I seriously like Linda more, even though Tavia is a better actress. I agree, Linda has improved so much since VOH II. I LOVE her in TGOL, AJCL, HOG and LOTD. MR was okay but you can't really blame her for crying so much, it was due to the script.

This is a funny question because it's so obvious that Tavia's acting is way superior and pleasing to the eye.

i dun think why can't compare them because people also compare raymond and moses and even ha yu. Moses entered entertaiment industry earlier than raymond and ha yu wayyyy earlier than raymond.

Tavia is from TVB acting class and unlike most of TVB actress who got in through beauty pageant. Tavia has 10 years of acting experience. Linda's acting is much better now but Tavia certainly is way better.

n sum ppl would say Linda's acting skills is better then Tavia,but becuz TVB promote Linda more,she gets more chances 2 improve her acting skills,while Tavia only get 1-3(or sumtimes less)dramas a yr to improved her skills...but she still proved 2 ppl her acting skills is still better^^

I don't really like Linda's acting. She is not bad in GOL but I don't buy her goodies two shoes roles. There is just the way she say things that do not convince me when she plays good girl roles, but it's quite fitting in GOL. No offense I hope. She is improving but still far from main lead supposedly standard IMO.

I think Tavia's acting is better... i've seen her play many different roles and she portrays them very good. I used to like Linda a lot but after they started promoting her so much i got annoyed...but Linda has improved a lot since she first came out

I think both are good. But Tavia's crying skills are better in my opinion. You see her eyes turn red as if she is really crying for real. Linda just started and improving but her acting so far isn't bad. She was excellent in A Journey Called Life. Linda is good when she's arguing to me for some reason. She has that look and attitude.

I think Tavis's acting is better , she's good at playing different roles . She's been in the industry longer and Linda is over promoted. Tavia is also better at crying , she seems more natural than when Linda cries . I also think Tavia is prettier than Linda .

I used to think Tavia's was better, but since watching Journey Called Life, I have to say Linda is much much improved! However, Linda's voice is a little annoying.

It's hard to choose whether it's for Linda or Tavia. But, I will say that both of them are acting very well. Tavia had more years of experience than Linda. And Tavia know how to control her emotions whether it's a crying scene or other scenes, etc. But for Linda, her acting is superb as she only needed a shorter time compared to Tavia to act it well. Maybe it's her inherent talent that is very suitable for her to become an actress. Tavia....Linda....hard to choose. But for me, I will choose Tavia for her years of experience in the entertainment industry.

of coz 杨怡's acting is better la!! she is soooo good at sad scenes and crying scenes!! b4 i used to didnt pay attention to her much when she was in Yummy Yummy, cuz I was paying too much attention on Charmaine and Kevin haha... but then I've watched 杨怡's other dramas, and could rly see she's rly good... 鍾嘉欣's isnt tooo bad... but dunno... she's not my type of a fave actress... lol

Compare with newcomer like Linda Tavia may win but compare with veterans Tavia isn't satisfied the quality of good actress. She should be humble.

I like both actresses, but Tavia is obviously better than Linda in terms of acting skills. Compared to Linda, Tavia has been in the industry way longer, has more acting experience, and came from the TVB acting class, so she has received some kind of formal acting training. Unfortunately Tavia doesn't get as much recognition. Linda is improving and she will be at that level in no time.

she doesn't come from acting background is not an excuse for her bad acting. Myolie didn't come from acting class too. She was praised by netizen good acting back then. But yea, because of TC she lost everything. Linda did more series than other first place and she can trained at there. Acting school is not everything. Yes, maybe they act better when comparing a newcomer from acting and a newcomer of pageant but when just like linda entered indutry for 5 years IS NO LONGER A REASON THAT SHE IS NOT FROM ACTING CLASS.

Definitely Tavia. There's not much I have to say, just compare their performances in Moonlight Resonance. And overall, Linda just overacts too much sometimes, and sometimes are unable to portray the moment of the character correctly. Tavia isn't perfect on her every performance, but overall, she's pretty good, and her performance in MR was such a breakthrough.

Definitely Tavia! No doubt about that because Tavia can actually act. All Linda does is squeal in her crying scenes. Tavia is so underrated and under-promoted by TVB.

I personally think Tavia is better. She has the experience and has worked so hard. Linda is not bad either, they need to give her more diverse characters though.

I think Tavia can act better. And I seen Tavia in challenging roles but not Linda. Linda's roles like quite bland, not the kinda roles to display good acting. But Linda looks smarter and more endearing.
