hi all! can anybody send me a synopsis of STLDFM or the story of the episode shown today March 8, 2005.. While watching STLDFM i fell asleep during a commercial break and when i woke up STLDFM is over. I am able to watch the part where celine and francis mother is talking...

SAVE THE LAST DANCE FOR ME
EPISODE 14
SJ's mom finds SJ in bed feverish and mom insists on taking her to the hospital, but SJ tells mom to leave her alone.
JM gets jealous when mr. park praises team leader (ms. joo) for giving ES another chance.
HW and ES make plans to have dinner together but SJ calls ES to meet. HW tries to call ES but her phone is off.

ES goes to SJ's studio and sees the sculpture SJ made of HW while he was missing. SJ tells her it's HW. SJ gets rid of her students and sits down with ES alone.
SJ asks ES if there's something she wants to tell her. ES is quiet, and SJ asks if she was with HW yesterday.. and asks what they did together. ES looks hesitant and SJ gets nasty saying how she's been with HW for 10 years.
ES asks SJ why she wants to meet her if she's so confident of her relationship with HW. SJ replies HW has always had a curiousity for the things in the world and ES is just his new infactuation.
ES gets up and says she doesn't have to hear all this. SJ says it's only a matter of time since HW will start to lose things one by one because of her and it will be the end of them.
ES tells her what she shares with HW is something SJ couldn't get from HW for 10 yrs. after ES leaves SJ calls TM to meet. when they meet SJ asks TM to do something.
when TM doesnt oblige she ridicules him as someone who's always gonna be at HW's tail. TM leaves upset.

HW is looking for ES but her phone is off. JM and mr. park are also looking for her. they decide to go to JM and ES's and wait for ES.
ES strolls around upset over conv. w/ SJ. she arrives home and is surprised by mr. park, HW, and JM who decided to throw ES a party to celebrate ES becoming a regular employee of global group.
JM and mr.park are in the living room and ES is giving HW a tour of the room. HW sees the talking stuffed animal ES gave CH and says he didnt know she was into stuffed animals.
ES tells him she had given it to someone. HW accidently pushes its tummy and hears 'i love u' and says she must have gotten it for CH. ES gets uncomfortable and drags him out.

meanwhile TM is drinking with his friend and gets pretty drunk. TM tells the friend he thought he finally found hope.. if only he could have 'her' (ES) by him.
TM gets in a cab and halfway home he tells the driver to take him to where ES lives.

JM tries to give ES and HW some privacy as they're all leaving. mr. park who's pretty drunk doesnt take the hint and insists on sharing a cab with HW.
finally JM drags him away. alone, HW asks what things she didnt get to do w/ CH so they can do. ES says going to see the ocean. HW says that's nothing special but ES says she wants to love like the deep ocean.
then HW tells ES they should meet his parents over the weekend. ES sees HW leave in a cab and walks back home and sees TM at the door.

ES says TM shouldn't have waited in the cold because it'll hurt his health. TM gets emotional and asks why she's so caring making him confused.
ES asks what he means and TM asks her if she used the same way to win HW's heart. ES tells TM TM taught her miracles do happen and she's sincere toward him.

HW tries to tell his parents about breaking up with SJ and being with SJ but he doesnt get a chance in the morning so he tells his mom he'll tell them something that night.
ES shows up for work at the global building and the security guard who recognizes her tries to whisk her away again but ES shows her employee badge and gives him a beverage.
then ES goes up to her division floor and sees HW. ES tells him he should be discreet at work and leave but HW tells her the meeting is about to begin.
ES realizes HW is her new direct boss. ms. joo, mr. park, and JM are also part of the new team.

SJ visits HW's mom and cries, telling her everything. HW's mom assures her she wont sit still about it.
HW's mom arranges a meeting with eunsoo. JM overhears the phone call and gets a bad feeling about it so she runs off to tell HW.
on her way out ES walks pass TM's friend who wonders where he's seen her before. he later remembers her as the girl engaged to HW in the pic at 'dreamy forest'

ES meets with HW's mom who tells her she was in her shoe before trying to seduce a rich guy to fix her life and she paid the price, and won't let her son fall prey to ES.
unable to reach his mom, HW gets worried and calls the driver to see where they're meeting and rushes to go there.
HW's mom hands an envelope of money to ES. ES states that amount of money is not enough.
ep 14 summary

ES meets HW's mom, who offers ES money to leave HW alone. ES replies no amount of money can buy her love for HW just like the love HW's mom have for HW.
mom says if ES loved HW then she should leave for his good. just then HW barges in furious at what he sees.
HW's mom blames ES for calling HW, bit HW stops her saying ES is the woman he loves. mom asks what about SJ.
HW tells mom he's disappointed at her and takes ES away.

TM's friend runs to TM at the office to tell him he saw the woman HW was engaged to while he was away.
TM realizes it's ES and remembers ES inviting him to her resthouse before.

inside the car ES tells HW not to be mad since she had prepared for this day when she started to like him and he should think how upset his mom might be.
alone, TM looks at ES's resume glaring over her old address, remembering his prior visit to the resthouse when he ran into HW as CH with no memories.
silently TM asks ES, did u appear in front of me because of kang HW and vows to make ES his on HW's account.
SJ calls HW then ES. both unavailable. then she calls HW's mom who lies saying he called to say he was working late.
mom tells SJ she'll have him call and assures SJ no matter what happens they're on her side.

SJ gets worried. HW takes ES to his family vacation home. ES asks where. HW replies the place where he wanted to take the person he loves.
ES says stop joking and HW says he's not. he had always wanted to come back but with the one he loves. HW says the place is where him and his mom lived.
SJ shows up at global runs into mr. park. SJ asks him for ES's home number. JM answers she doesnt know where ES is and gives SJ attitude.

infront of burning woods in the fireplace, HW tells ES his mom and him lived there til he was 7 since his mom was a mistress and they didnt move into the maibhouse til hyungjubg's mom died.
HW asks ES to have empathy over his mom since she suffered a lot. ES worries about HW's mom too.

mz. park tells mr. kang they should rush HW and SJ's wedding. mr. kang says they should discuss it with HW but mom says he's got enough to worry about as is so she'll take care of it.

ES and HW find an old record and they play the song 'changing partner' HW asks ES if she knows how to dance. ES says no and HW insists they try. with ES in his embrace, HW asks if she hears his heart beat and tells her to dance comfortably.
the two dance with music singing 'i keep changing partner til you're in my arms... oh my darling i'll never change partner again...'

TM calls his foreign conspire and gives him the ok to move things forward. the foreigner says he's on his way there.
ES and HW dance even when the music stops. HW asks ES if she wants to make a promise. ES asks what kinda promise and HW replies, 'a promise to live together for a long long time.'
ES remembers CH saying the same to her. HW tells ES she doesnt have to give her answer right away but it's just that he's confused sometimes whether she's looking at him or CH when she looks at him.
HW goes on saying he wasnt gonna be greedy over her past but it seems he's jealoused over CH. ES is touched and asks if it's ok for her to answer him infront of her dad. HW asks didnt her dad passed away?
and ES replies at 'dreamy forest' she feels her father still alive so she wants to take HW there to meet her father.

ES goes home and JM tells her about SJ calling and warns ES she has to be strong against her. ES teases JM saying if she is such a love doctor why cant she figure out her own romance.
JM asks what and ES asks her if she likes mr. park. JM denies such thing but ES just ignores her and goes to sleep.
HW returns home and asks to speak to his parents. HW tells mr. kang she's no longer seeing SJ and he wants him to meet the woman he loves. mr. kang is upset saying he cant be so selfish and ignore SJ who's waited for him for years.
HW pleads his father to meet ES and says when he meets her he'll understand why she is the one he loves.

at work, ES runs into TM in the elevator. TM sees ES uncomfortable and asks ES if she's scared of going to work because of him. ES says no but looks uncomfortable. TM tells her he's gonna mend things with HW so she neednt worry.
mr. kang meets with mr. yoon (SJ's dad). mr. yoon tells mr.kang an european company wants to buy the global stocks he has for a lotta money. mr. kang looks worried. mr. yoon says he wouldnt sell them since they're family and jokes that they're SJ's ticket into the kang family.
SJ goes to see HW and asks him to try on wedding attire with her. HW asks why she's like this. SJ replies she wont ever let him go and warns him her dad wont sit still if something goes wrong in the relationship.
SJ says since the day HW decided to throw her away she made up my mind she's gonna change her old ways.. even if she has to sell her family to trade for him.
SJ leaves and heads toward where ES works. she overhears ES telling JM she plans to go to 'dreamy forest' with HW tomorrow, and when they do she plans to tell HW everything, about HW being CH.

SJ is traumatized by what she overhears and goes drinking at a bar. TM shows up when she's already drunk. SJ cries out to TM asking what she did wrong and again vows she wont give up.
SJ returns home and mom asks who she drank with. SJ lies she drank with HW and things are great between them. mom brings up engagement again and SJ escorts mom out saying she wants to sleep.
ES cant sleep and turns on the light. JM asks why and ES says she's too nervous about tomorrow. JM gets mad because she's tired and ES finally settles down.

next morning, HW gets a call from SJ who begs him to meet with her one last time, and after today she wont bother him again.
HW calls ES to say he's gonna be late because something came up. ES says she'll go by herself first in that case and tells him to call her when he's on his way.
HW arrives at SJ's studio. SJ shows HW her sculpture of him she made when he was missing. HW asks her to get to the point and SJ gets upset saying what's the hurry over someone else when she waited for him for 10 yrs.
HW says she knows it's not possible for him to retract. SJ cries saying she will die without him. HW says it was a mistake to come and leaves. SJ yells he'll regret. she'll make him regret.
as HW leaves SJ destroys her sculpture with a hand ax.

ES arrives at 'dreamy forest' and JM's mom asks about HW. ES replies she has some things to prepare so she came first.
meanwhile. SJ is tortured by memories of time spent with HW.. when he told SJ he wanted the chance to love her out of his own desire and not something set up by his dad.
ep. 15 summary

SJ wears the bracelet HW bought her 2 yrs prior and holds a bottle of pills in her hands, saying, 'i'm your destiny too.'
ES goes around 'dreamy forest' and remembers times spent w/ CH together. ES sits on the rocking chair CH made and silently tells HW she's keeping her promise, asking if he will too.
HW's driving and receives a call saying SJ took some pills and is hospitalized. HJ calls TM to tell him about SJ.
mr. park overhears a couple of guys talking about SJ and tells JM SJ tried to commit suicide.

HW rushes to the hospital finding SJ unconscious on the hospital stretcher. SJ's parents blame HW. HW finds SJ's letter telling her parents not to blame HW because it's all her fault and death is the only thing she can do.
ES continues to wait for HW at 'dreamy forest'....

at the hospital, HW's parents visit a still unconscious SJ. mr.yoon tells mr.kang he won't forgive them, knowing SJ had suffered alone all this time.
JM calls ES to tell her SJ took a whole bottle of pill and almost died. ES takes a cab back to seoul.
HW's sitting by SJ when she finally awakes. HW asks how she's feeling and at first she tells him to leave since he wants to be w/ ES but when HW gets up SJ grabs his hand and begs him to stay even if all she has is his shell.

doc says SJ's gonna be ok. ES arrives at the hospital and watches as HW tells mr.yoon he likes someone else.. and sees mr.yoon slap HW, then warns him he will cease to help global.
TM's foreign investor gets a call from mr. yoon's office saying yoon is willing to sell the global stocks at 5% premium.

HW talks to SJ while she's asleep. HW says he tried to love her but he couldnt and he couldnt forget ES no matter how hard he tried and now he cant do anything w/out ES.
HW asks SJ if she can let him go since she loves him. SJ hears him. HW leaves and SJ pulls her ivy out.
ES arrives at SJ's room and senses something's wrong since SJ's out. ES runs around the hospital looking for SJ.

TM arrives and sees ES running. ES goes up to the rooftop and sees SJ about to jump off.
ES yells stop and SJ replies she knows all about HW being CH...and tells ES to close her eyes for a moment while she jumps, and when she opens her eyes she'll be gone out of their lives.
ES stops SJ if this is what she calls love. SJ says what else can she do since HW's hurting so much and she loves him more than life itself. ES cries saying SJ is a bad woman.. attempting suicide infront of her.. then ES leavws.
TM sees them and escorts SJ back. TM finds ES and reminds SJ and HW started 10 years ago.
ES says she didnt think about how another person could lose everything because of her. ES then says she thinks she needs to let HW go now.

HW calls ES and ES holds her tears back to answer. ES asks him what happened to him she waited all day. HW says he's really sorry some emergency came up and he was tied up at work all day, then asks if she waited w/out sleeping.
ES lies she was all ready for bed but he woke her up. HW lies too saying he's in bed too. ES has a difficult time holding back tears so she tells HW she's really sleep and he wishes her sweet dreams and they hang up.
afterwards ES calls SJ.

meanwhile SG meets w/ mr.yoon to buy mr. yoon's stocks. afterwards SG calls TM to say everything went smoothly. TN reminds him about theit next step.
mr. kang tells his secretary to call ES into his office, ES goes to meet mr. kang.
mr. kang asks ES if she knows why he called her. ES replies she has an idea. mr. kang asks what it will take since HW cant leave SJ... is it a house? money?
ES replies she's leaving HW but asks mr. kang to agree to just one condition.

ES gets her hair done and gets a new outfit.. telling herself she has to do it well since it's the last time CH will see her.
mr. yoon thinks about ES's condition, which is he must tell HW she took a bunch of money from him in exchange to give up HW.. and he must keep the truth a secret forever.
ES calls HW to say she skipped work and wants him to play w/ her. HW goes to see her at the ice-skating ring and the two laugh away skating together.
HW falls and ES asks if his old wound is ok. HW's surprised and asks her how she knows he was hurt before. ES lbrushes him off saying he told her before.
ES watches as HW skates alone smiling, and silently tells him to smile like so.. forget about memories he cant remember...

preview 16: mr. kang is unconscious at the icu. HW gets ES's letter saying she was lying to him about everything so not to meet another girl like her...

HW takes ES home. HW says he had a great time. ES replies he should just go without coming out of the car.
just then SJ calls. ES says he should answer it. HW starts to tell her why he couldnt keep his date to 'dreaming forest' but ES cuts him off saying he already told her he was tied up w/ work and she understands.
then ES thx HW for a great day together. HW replies she was extra beatiful today and they part.

HW listens to SJ's voicemail saying she's leaving the hospital and wants him to come by. ES returns home and silently tells CH she's letting go of the necklace curse so he must live happier than anyone.
TM tells mr.kang and HW the bad news that global might be facing a forced overtake. mr. kang and HW are still optimistic about saving their company.
after TM leaves mr. kang tells HW's destiny must be SJ. HW replies he cannot give up ES under any circumstance and apologizes.

HW finds out ES left her resignation letter w/ JM. HW leaves a message on ES's cell asking her what's going on, then looks for ES everywhere.
mr.noh forces his way into mr.kang's office to tell him TM is the one who bought mr.yoon's share of stocks to destroy mr.yoon.
mr.yoon calls TM into his office.. slaps him and asks TM what his intentions are. TM acts innocent at first then speechless when mr.kang throw at him the evidence mr.noh gave him.

it's snowing.. HW goes back to the iceskating ring and thinks as he watches ppl skate the way him and ES did. ES arrives too and sees HW staring into space. ES hesitates about what to do..
then ES calls SJ to tell her she's kept her promise and she has a request. SJ thx her and says she'll listen to any request. ES instructs SJ to take good care of HW and if he ever gets his memory back just tell him it was all a dream.

TM picks up the paper mr.kang threw at him and says these paper dont amount to any real evidence againt what he spent 20 years preparing.
mr.kang asks why TM is being like this and TM reveals himself as sejinhwa's jung il-soo's heir... who lost his parents to suicide because of mr.kang's ruthless business practice.
HW gets a call from his mom saying mr.kang has fainted. TM still pretends to be innocent and stands by mr.kang's bed.
HW arrives and mom starts to blame HW for all this, saying ES had asked mr.kang a huge sum of money just to leave HW.

HW gets a message on his phone from ES, who says she had calculated all this from day 1 when she met him and he seemed like a prince to her. ES warHW to never again be conned by someone like her.
doc says mr.kang is stable for now but it may take a few days for him to regain his consiciousness. HJ arrives and blames HW for being born, causing the misfortunes of kang family. HW's mom pleads to stop the yelling.
JM calls her mom to tell her what's going on and tells her if ES returns just leave her alone.

TM's friend SG follows ES around under TM's instruction. ES gets a job working as a convenient store clerk.
meanwhile HW stands by his father's hospital bedside...
mr.noh gets in his car and is met by SG with a knife under noh's throat. noh asks if he's sent by TM but SG orders noh to start driving.

HW asks JM if she's heard from ES. JM advices HW to forget ES for his own good. HW asks JM if it were her could she so easily forget it all.. when the person you know suddenly changes overnight saying everything was a lie?
JM replies there's nothing she can say and since ES probably has her own reason the best thing HW can do is to go along with ES's decision. HW replies he has to meet ES and hear from her face to face even if everything was a lie.
SJ visits mr.kang and stays by his side so mz.park can rest. HW gets ready to drive to 'dreaming forest'..

ES looks around the street outside the store because she senses someone watching but finds nobody.
TM silently tells ES to wait for him and he will help her erase kang HW from her heart, as he watches ES from across the street.

HW's on the road to 'dreaming forest' but he gets a call from his mom and turns around to go to the hospital.
doc says mr.kang is conscious but it may be a while before he can speak or ever recover. HW rushes by his dad's bedside. mr.kang sees TM and starts to stare at TM.
TM and HW drink at the tent bar. HW tells TM until he speaks to ES in person he's not gonna believe anything. TM tells HW ES told him her goal was to get in global to look for someone, when TM first met her.

ES sees a guy tending to his gf's cut at the store and thinks about the time CH nurtured her cut...
HW goes to the place ES used to live w/ JM and cries... asking ES where she disappeared to.
meanwhile ES tells her 'i love you' stuffed animal not to ache anymore.

TM is alone at the hospital by mr.kang who cant move or say anything except to stare at TM. TM says it's too bad kang's gonna miss out on the glory tomorrow and leaves.
HW tries to go over all the numbers again before the company meeting. TM watches as the employees arrive at the meeting, including mr.noh who is being forced-escorted by SG.
the old teamlead tells JM a foreigh company may have more shares of stocks over mr.kang.

TM hosts the company meeting. a shareholder stands up to demand an explanation on why the company stock is dropping so fast and asks TM to clear up on the market rumor that a foreigh company will undertake global.
HW stands up to say w/ his dad's 10%, his 7%, and HJ's 4%, plus TM's shares their company is untouchable.
but TM says he's siding his 3.1% against kang.. then mr.noh says he's siding his 0.4% againt kang too.. and SG says he's siding his 0.6% against kang as well..
then mr. joo, TM's co-conspire, says he will throw in his 0.2% against kang as well.. which means kang family has less than the foreign company... HW cannot believe what he's hearing and loses his steadiness standing..

jung taemin becomes the new president at global. TM pretends to be good infront of HW saying he was shocked that the stockholders were so unhappy w/ mr. kang.
TM comforts HW saying he'll keep the position temporarily and find a way to return global to kang family. HW says he'll only trust TM.
mr.ji asks TM how confident he is since HW won't be fooled forever. TM says by the time HW figures it out or mr. kang wakes up the game will be over.

TM's friend SG (suk goo) runs into HW accidently at global. HW asks if SG is ok and HW gets a flashback of some sort, with SG's face in the flash memory.
SG runs out.

TM goes to see ES but she says she's too busy at work. TM gives ES's boss money saying it's ES's pay for the day, times two.
ES gets upset but TM says things are just starting between them now that things are over between her and HW. then TM takes ES to the iceskating ring.
TM keeps falling since he can't skate. ES teaches him and teases him by asking if there's anything he's good at. he says he's good at studying but no one seems to count that.
ES and TM talk. TM says he wants to make memories with ES like this so she'll forget about HW slowly. ES says she's gotta go before she gets fired and remembers CH...
TM drives ES back. ES thx him and tells him not to act reckless again. TM replies he's not gonna ask her to like him... just wants her to be with him and talk and laugh.

at the hospital, HJ and HW's mom are aggrvated by what's going on at 'global'... HW says not to worry because he's not gonna just sit there.
at work, HW asks mr. park to do a run down on stock activities within the last 3 months. HW apologizes for troubling him but says he only trusts park.
HW and mr. park study the list of stock holders and HW wonders who 'choi suk goo' is.. mr. park says no one seems to know about choi's background.
then HW sees the name 'lee chan suk' who holds 2% worth of stocks and asks mr.park if they can find out his contact info since he may be helpful to them.

SJ visits HW and wants to help because she feels bad about her dad selling out. mr. park comes and tells HW mr. lee chan so is leaving for america first thing in the morning and the only way to meet him is by going to the art center where he's watching a musical.
SJ volunteers to go w/ HW since she knows who mr. lee is. meanwhile, TM waits outside of ES's work w/ tickets to the same musical.
HW and SJ talk to mr. lee and begs for his help. mr. lee says his main concern is the success of 'global' since he's a shareholder and he can't take HW's mere words over his investment.
HW thx mr. lee for his time and says he'll visit him again after he's done some work to show him he's sincere in promising global is better of led by the kang family.

HW/SJ run into ES/TM. HW demands to speak with ES. ES tells TM it'll be just a moment and goes w/ HW.
HW asks ES to tell him the truth and ES replies just as she said before everything was a lie.. she even lied about her ex (CH) being dead just to get HW's interest.
ES says HW's dad made her a bigger offer so she dumped HW. HW says she should've just asked him for money if that's what she needed. he would've given her everything she wanted.

ES thx TM for taking her to the musical and asks him if something's happened to HW since he looked like he was pleading for help and got rejected.
HW looks upset and asks her if she still loves HW. ES thx him again and leaves.
at home ES silently says to HW/CH she went and saw the musical she wanted to see w/ him for 2 years... but w/ someone else.
ES calls JM and finds out the trouble HW's been facing. SJ begs her folks to let her marry HW.

there's more trouble at work (HW's been shed his title as vice president), and HW goes to see TM, asking TM if he really didn't know about what's been happening beforehand.
TM cynically remarks if HW is doubting him too because of 'that woman' (ES). HW says he doesn't want to let her get between their brotherhood either so he'll trust him.
TM asks HW if he's really over ES. HW angrily tells TM to go ask her.

HW gets a call from mr. yoon to meet. mr. yoon tells HW to get engaged to HW. HW acts surprised. mr. yoon replies he doesn't like HW one bit but since SJ says it must be HW so as a father he's going with her wish.
mr. yoon says he will persuade mr. lee chan suk to turn in his shares if HW will engaged to SJ. HW replies to him SJ is merely a sister so he can't agree to the deal. mr. yoon says HW should think about his father still lying at the hospital.
mr. yoon says he will wait for HW's answer. HW says he won't change his mind even if he waits and apologizes.

HW goes to the hospital and his mom tries to persuade him to marry SJ for the family's sake. HW says not to talk about that anymore and mom gets upset asking if he's still thinking of that woman who used him for money...
HW goes to drink alone at the tentbar. HW silently tells ES he might never smile again in his life because she left him.. she left him like this...
HW gets back home and SJ is waiting for him. a drunk HW tells SJ he may never open his heart to her and asks if she will still have him if he is only a shell next to her.
SJ replies she wants him even so. HW says they're both goimg crazy. SJ says she believes if they're together someday things will be ok. HW weeps in her arms and SJ weeps too.
meanwhile ES tosses and turns all night not being able to fall asleep.

nextday, HW tells his mom he will agree to engagement w/ SJ. mom is really happy and says his dad would be happy if he knew.
jangmi finds out from mr. park HW is getting engaged to SJ. jangmi is upset but mr. park says HW is doing what he can to save the company and he's disappointed at ES too.
Jangmi yells saying he doesn't know the real story. mr. park says JM is starting to be more and more like ms. chu (the old teamlead girl) with her attitude.
JM calls ES and tells ES HW is getting engaged on saturday and asks ES what she's gonna do about it. ES says it's a good thing and now she can go back to her resthouse without worrying.

ES quits her job and gets ready to leave seoul.TM visits ES and asks if she knows about HW"s engagement.
ES says yes and TM asks how she feels. she replies she can see it as a final end and feels at peace.
TM asks what her future plans are and ES says she's getting ready to return to the way things were and perhaps she should never have been greedy in the first place.
TM asks she's gonna forever pretend like she doesn't know about his feeling towards her. TM says she doesnt' need to go anywhere because her place is right here with him.

ES tells TM someday a miraculous love will come to him as well, then ES leaves.
alone, HW goes by the bench where he made his promise to ES previously and misses ES.
as HW is about to leave he sees ES arriving. ES is looking for her necklace. ES is surprised to see HW too and freezes.
HW asks ES why she's looking so hard for the lost necklace if everything was a lie. ES says it's none of his business.
HW warns ES not to try to con other men with her dead lover sob story since he is the only man naiive enough for her story.
ES congrats him for his engagement to SJ. HW says it's her doing and he will always remember it so.

HW brushes shoulder with a drunk guy accidently and the guy and his friends start to fight him.
HW falls knocking his head on the cement ground. as he is about to get up he sees a couple buying necklace from a street vendor and he gets a flashback of himself giving someone (ES) a necklace.
SJ picks out her engagement jewelry and sees HW's necklace. SJ is about to toss it but puts it back in her case instead.
in his sleep HW sees a clearer image of himself giving the same necklace to a girl... and HW wakes up in sweat.

at breakfast HW asks his mom if he had any jewelry or trinkets with him when he returned a year ago from being missing and mom says no.
SJ gets ready to go to the salon. mom rushes her out. SJ says she forgot her jewelry and mom offers to get it but she takes the wrong box.
HW is on his way to the ceremony and he keeps getting clearer and clearer image of himself giving necklace to a girl. though the image is rough he hears himself say 'i love you eunsoo' to the girl and ES saying 'i love you chang-ho' back.

at the ceremony, SJ asks the coordinator to get her jewelry from her mom. HW arrives to get SJ. SJ says she has to go get a drink and leaves momentarily.
while SJ is gone the coordinator arrives and HW accidently knocks the box open. HW discovers his necklace and reads the script with CH's promise to ES.
SJ comes back and HW asks why SJ has the necklace. SJ tries to come up w/ some explanation but HW demands her to confess. SJ admits she hid the truth from him but it's too late now since he must get engaged to save his company.
HW gets ready to leave and SJ says to forget the woman who has already left. HW says no because ES is the one who saved him, the one who taught him about love.
HW says w/out ES he would be dead. ES gave him the courage to live. afterwards HW leaves leaving SJ weeping alone.

ES gets back to 'dreaming forest' and takes over the duties from JM's mom after thanking her.
TM arrives at the hotel and sees all the guests leaving wondering why the groom was a no-show.
HW calls JM and finds out ES went back to the resthouse. HW drives there, crying as he remembers his life as CH with ES, including their engagement.

ES sends off guests at the bus terminal. HW arrives at 'dreaming forest' and rings the bell. JM's mom opens the door and is shocked.
ES returns and finds a card from JM's mom on the table telling her she has a big surprise gift for her at the mailbox.

ES goes to mailbox CH built her and finds nothing but her letters to CH. then CH/HW shows up and asks if she found a present. ES is surprised but gets upset and asks HW to stop bothering her.
HW says to ES because he took off the necklace first he will have to listen to her from now on since that's the curse. ES is shocked at what HW said because he sounds like CH... then ES sees HW wearing CH's necklace.
HW gets emotional and tells ES his promise again.. the one he wrote inside the necklaces.. 'even if i have no memory.. no.. even if i get my memory back... i promise to love you always and be with you always'...
CH and ES embrace...

CH and ES visit the cot they used to lounge on and CH says it's still hanging strong... they sit on the cot to talk.
CH says he had a lotta things he wanted to say but now that he sees her he doesn't remember the words.
ES says if he can't remember it's ok since he can slowly tell her each thing one day at a time. CH says she must've suffered so much...and how he was afraid she might tell him she doesn't need any byuk chang-ho now.
ES says when she left the resthouse to look for him she may have already known that their happiness was already over.. but she stay went to look for him because she wanted to give back the happiness he's given her even if he doesn't recognize her.
they return to the house and CH looks at ES's father's picture. ES tells CH she's not sure what to call him... CH or HW or vice-president. CH says he can be CH when he needs CH and HW when she needs HW.

ES falls asleep and HW takes her to her room. HW sees a stack of letters on the nightstand ES wrote to CH while he was missing and begins to read one.
in the letter ES says she won't get mad at CH for disappearing.. all she wants is to see him back... what she wanted more than anything was to wake up in the morning and see him.. so hurry back.
CH steps out to the porch at night and remembers the time TM saw him at 'dreaming forest'... and SG being the one who tried to sent him off on a boat.
CH calls mr. park and says there's something he needs him to find out for him.

SJ tells her mom she was the one who broke up w/ HW because she doesn't want to live with a shell for the rest of her life.
TM is restless and calls ES but gets no answer.

ES wakes up and goes to CH's room but under the sheets there are only pillows. ES goes to the backyard and sees CH hanging washed laundry. CH asks ES if she's impressed at his skills.
ES goes up to CH/HW and tells him he doesn't need to try so hard to return to theway things were because to her he's the same....both CH and HW love her and she loves both CH and HW.
CH hugs her and the two share a long embrace under the hanging sheets.
ES and CH drive up to seoul. ES asks what's gonna happen to the company. CH says he's not gonna lose. CH asks ES to keep the fact that he got his memory back a secret.
ES agrees and CH squeezes her cheek saying she's so obedient he wants to fold her up and stuff her in his pocket.

TM calls 'dreaming forest' looking gor ES and JM's mom tells him ES went to seoul. TM asks if she went by herself and mom asks who's calling...
summary ep. 19 -----------

TM finds out ES is on her way to seoul and TM calls SJ to meet.
HW returns and his mom is upset at him for being gone. HW asks her to trust him.
HW meets mr. park and HW asks him to continue his efforts in looking into the background of the foreign company.
HW also tells mr. park he plans to launch the new product under a new company name and asks him to prepare to start a new company together.
JM hears about HW getting his memory back from her mom and JM congrats ES when they meet.

SJ arrives outside TM's office and overhears TM asking SG to look for ES.. and verify whether ES is with HW.
SG asks TM if HW's gotten his memory back. SJ is shocked at what she hears. TM tells SG to shut up and leave... and work on finding ES.
SJ and TM talk. SJ tells TM she knows he likes ES and he must be wondering why HW left her at their engagement. TM replies that's true. he's dying to know the reasons.
SJ comments she believes HW is with ES right now. and SJ tells TM she broke up with HW on their engagement because she wasn't sure if she could live with him for a lifetime.
SJ lies saying she feels relieved that HW is gone. TM sees her trembling and says that's great if she really put away her feelings so easily. SJ says she has to leave and gets up.
as SJ is leaving, TM says to her 'you still tremble when you lie'...

mr. park gives HW a list of names of people that are willing to move to the new company and HW starts the new office.
ES gets a call from TM who is standing outside her house. ES goes out and tells TM not to come anymore.
TM says to ES if she really cared about HW she should've left him alone because from this day forward TM will treat HW as a rival.
ES replies no matter what happens between her and HW they will never separate and she will never go to TM.
TM grabs ES's wrist and warns her HW's life and death is in her hands. ES tries to shake his grip off but HW arrives.

HW tells TM to let go of ES and tells ES to go inside because he wants to talk to TM alone.HW and TM talk and both comment they never thought they would be having this discussion.
TM tells HW he made a promise to ES on a day when she was weeping.. TM had promised her he would never make her cry.
TM asks HW what he can offer ES besides heartaches. HW replies at this moment he might be giving her trouble and he can't promise he won't make her cry but he will be true to ES always... and will always be with her at all times.

HW says to TM he doesn't want to see her hurt more because of TM and asks TM not to bother ES anymore. TM doesn't know what to say and HW turns around to say he's leaving first.
HW goes back to ES's. ES is waiting for him outside and HW says she should wait inside. ES asks if he was surprised and HW says TM is just someone a lot more complicated than they thought.

SJ worries as she thinks about what she overheard outside TM's office.
SJ calls ES to meet. SJ says she wanted to call HW but she wasn't brave enough so she called her. ES asks what she's worried about.
SJ tells ES she overheard something at TM's and she suspects TM knew where HW was while he was missing in kang-won providence.
ES says she thought TM and HW were as tight as brothers. SJ tells ES she's sure TM knew where HW was but kept it quiet for some reason and SJ tells ES she has to protect HW because HW still trusts TM and TM is capable of doing anything.

TM meets with mr. joo and shows him he's depositing the sum of money into mr. joo's account as they agreed upon.
mr. joo is satisfied and asks TM if they should stop the destruction now that things are turned upside down at global. TM says he wont stop until he sees the final end of global.
mr. joo says in that case there's nothing he can do and leaves. TM stops him and asks if mr. joo had anything to do with se-jin-hwa's understaking. mr. joo gets nervous and says that was done by mr. noh not him.

ES eats lunch with HW. HW is starving and ES nags him for not taking care of himself. HW says he's fine and they talk about HW's new company. HW says things aren't going too smoothly because they are too many similar products in the market.
ES mentions the warnmess of her rice stone bowl and it gives HW an inspiration. HW drops ES off by the roadside and rushes back to his office.
mr. park finds out jung taemin is likely the face behind the foreign company and tells HW.

HW asks ES to go somewhere with him. they travel to the fishing town where HW supposedly lived according to TM and they look for mr. hwang, who supposedly took care of HW but they can't find mr. hwang and the new owner of the restaurant where mr. hwang used to work said mr. hwang skipped town after scoring a big money job by lying to some big shot in seoul.
HJ gives her stepmom (HW's mom) some new clothes and tells her to rest or else she might faint too like mr. kang. HW's mom is touched at the gesture and tries to warm up to HJ as well.

ES tells HW she met SJ earlier and she told her TM knew HW was at 'dreamy forest' but pretended to not know and tried to hide it from the family.
HW says what he fears is that he may not be able to forgive TM. ES replies what she fears is to see him get hurt.
HW says he may have to be ruthless against TM from now on. ES tries to cheer him by taking him to the beach and enjoy a carefree time together.

HW tries to market the new product, heated flooring, to a japanese client group who has shareholder interest in global.
TM tries to go after the same client but during their meeting the japanese client rejects TMs product in favor of HW's. HW and mr. lee (the guy HW tried to elist help from before) arrive at the meeting.
mr. lee says he will change his substancial amount of global shareholding in favor of HW. TM is pissed but SG who is outside sees cops arriving and rushes into the meeting to warn TM.
TM and SG, and their foreign conspire run before they can be caught by the cops. HW runs after TM and demands an answer why TM is so cruel to him and his family when all he has done to him was to treat him like a brother.
TM replies global group succeeded with the blood of his parents. HW is shocked and speechless.

HW saves the company. HW then visits his dad at the hospital, and tells his mom and sister that ES is the one who saved his life, and not the fony hired by TM.
HW, ES, JM, mr. park and ms. joo celebrate their success. HW's name plaque replaces TM's at global.
SG brings TM the newspaper with TM's story on the cover and tells TM their boat leaves tonight.

TM rushes out of the hotel room to see ES. ES says she doesn't have anything else to say to him but TM insists they talk and they talk by the river.
ES advices TM to turn himself in. TM asks ES to go with him since she once said to him she would be on his side.
ES replies at one point she was grateful toward him but now she resents him for hurting the person she loves.
TM says the one who lost all is him and not HW.. and he didnt do what he did out of greed, rather he was returning the wrong done against him.
ES states HW is her miraculous love and leaves. TM vows he will not rest until he returns the wrong done against him.

mr. park tells HW about TM's parents. mr. kang wakes up and asks for HW.
TM tells SG to drag HW infront of him. mr. kang tells HW the fall of se-jin-hwa was the fault of mr. joo and TM mistakely believes the kang family is to blame.
HW tells ES he must look for TM. SG overhears HW telling ES if she ever meets TM she must hold him there for him. SG approaches ES and tells her she's the only one who can stop TM's madness and asks her to go with him.
ES gets in the car with SG and tries to call HW but leaves a message instead. SG drops ES off by a warehouse and tells ES to tell TM he was his one and only friend.

TM is in the car waiting for HW and gets a call from SG saying the person he wanted is here. TM thinks it's HW and speeds up his car to hit HW.
just then ES gets a call from HW and she tells him she will tell him everything later but just as TM is about to collide with ES TM realizes it's ES not HW.
on the other side of the phone line, all HW hears is ES's voice, followed by phone drop sound, and nothing...
next day, JM meets with mr. park an mz. joo and they're all worried about ES. HW looks for ES everywhere too.

next scene...

TM is infront of a hospital. then TM sits by ES on a bench in the hospital basketball court. TM begs ES to tell HW everything and HW will understand.
ES replies she doesn't want to, and even though things are difficult for everyone right now, it's best that everyone forgets the past.

next scene (Oh my gosh)...

a nurse approaches ES with a wheelchair. ES is escorted onto her wheelchair and the nurse wheels ES away. ES wishes TM happiness and leaves.
TM calls out ES's name and cries in remorse.

as she's being wheeled away, ES silently tells HW she knows even if she returns to him as she is right now he will still love her but because of that she cannot return to him because he will be foolish enough to stay by herside.
TM is captured by police and taken to the station. HW arrives at the station and the police tells HW TM wanted to say 'i'm sorry' to HW.

HW goes back to 'dreamy forest' and wonders where in the world ES is.

mr. kang has recovered and the global group is doing well. mr. kang asks HW to consider working abroad for a year or two at the branch office. HW says he'll think about it.
HJ is still interested in TM, who is apparently looking for a new job.
mr. park is married to mz. joo who is pregnant.
HW still looks for ES everywhere whenever he can. he plans to go to kang-won provence next.

ES is working with disabled children. she is about to go on a trip with her boss.
HW gets a call saying they may have found someone in his description but when he arrives it wasn't ES.
HW sits alone on the beach and tosses a message in a bottle into the ocean. in it he begs ES to return.

ES is riding in the van and sees the ocean...and asks to stop by.
ES arrives just as HW leaves.

on the beach, ES sees a bottle riding the waves and remembers HW saying they won't need such thing because their wish of being with each other has already been granted.
ES wants to take a closer look at the bottle but confined to her wheelchair ES is unable to get up.

HW's dad tells him he should go abroad soon and if ES is his reason for staying he will hire someone to look for her.
HW gets a call and meets SJ, who's just returned from being in new york. the two are friends again and SJ invites HW to attend an art show tomorrow.

the kids ES works with have worked on a painting for the art show as well and they're going to seoul to see it displayed, but ES stays behind alone.
HW attends the art show and sees the children's art titled 'dreamy forest' and becomes breathless.

a man knocks on ES's door and says he was sent by ms. park saying she encountered some trouble getting the kids back so she needs her help.
ES agrees to go but becomes upset when the car approaches 'dreamy forest' instead.
ES is dropped off and HW comes out of the lodge.

ES tells HW not to pity her, and even if he found her nothing will change.
HW says he saw a beautiful picture of a place that taught him love... with the woman he made promise to infront of her father.
ES begins to weep and HW rushes to her side asking her why she was so foolish in thinking he would let her go so easily.
ES calls him a fool for not letting her go when given the chance.
HW says he will never let go of her hand and the two embrace in tears.

drama ends with HW trying to help ES walk with a crutch and ES being held in his arms after leaping a couple of steps.

drama end.

Yeah, I definitely agree with you Da A! Imagine what it could have felt like! Its enough that Francis turns her away, and then,those pushy bodyguards of his has to throw her out! sob . . . sob . . .

i dunno bout you but here's the thing... slow moving plot? duh! this drama series is the first ever that got me glued on tv every night because unlike those other dramas like endless love, stairway, ... etc... aside that those are pretty heavy drama that would sent you crying a bucketfull of tears, those have had scenes that are sooo dragging... hehe ....it's just that francis is the kind of guy that would probably be only in everybody's dreams... guys nowadays suck!

SPOILER START Eugene's plays Ji eun soo, a simple girl who helps her dad run a fashion store and one day she finds ji sung (kang hyun ooh)beaten up and unconscious on the street. She takes him to the hospital and when he wakes up he has amnesia so he cant remember who he is. He seems to feel comforted and calm when he is around her so she takes him home. As they live together she gives him a name and they eventually fall in love. They get engaged but the day after the engagement he disappears and though she waits for him for a very long time he doesnt come back. She gets hurt by this and her hurt gets deeper every day that she waits for him. Then one day, her dads store ends up getting burned down and her dad dies in the accident and she is left devastated. Anyways, to simplify everything, Ji sung is a guy who was an heir to a very large company and fortune and he had originally given up fallin in love because he thought it wasnt possible for someone to love him without looking at his money and fortune. So, he decides to marry lee boh young's character because she has a similar backround to him. Then one day, he gets in an accident and loses all his memories. So then after he meets eugene and get engaged, he gets into another accident and finds all his memories but ends up losing all the memories he had with eugene so he doesnt recognize her or know who she is when they meet again in seoul. But despite the fact that he cant remember her, he is drawn to her and his heart hurts when he thinks of her. Meanwhile, Roo soo youngs character is this guy who thought that eugene was one of those girls who was after jisung for his money so he was thinking about using/manipulating her to go after ji sung but he discovers to his surprise that he is falling for her. Lee boh young plays the girl who gets in the way of eugene and ji sungs love and is mean to eugene, so basically the evil girl character. SPOILER END

Last 3 days of STLD here in the Philippines.My life will be normal, no more counting hours for the next episode(waiting for the next episode is killing me)and I can watched TV now more than 2 feet away BUT it will be BORING WITHOUT JI SUNG and EUGENE. I really loved this series.

on the topic of marriage, he only said that both of them are still deeply in love, but have no plans for marriage yet. however, the idea of having children before marriage is definitely not a consideration for them, since korea is still a traditional society!

The ending was good. They gave justice to the story. Too bad they didn't air interviews of the lead actors as i was expecting. I aslo would want to see NG scenes.

I already missed them.Thank God, I was able to get a copy of this series,eventhough the English subtitle is bad.I was also able to download most of the song in soundtrack.

Same here. When STLDFM was still being shown, no one can tear me away from the TV, no one at home can even talk to me. I do not even take bathroom breaks during commercial. I sit through the commercials, which is not a norm for me, because I do not want to miss any scenes. I bought a VCD also but the subtitles are really bad. Despite this, I still cried and got giddy on scenes that are supposed to make me cry and feel giddy. I think that means that Ji Sung & Eugene acted really well. And I SO LOVE JI SUNG, he is SO CUTE. blush

i agree wid u...when sandy starts to cry my tears starts to fall from my eyes....and sometimes my mom call me "buang" and my cazns also call me buang...i dont care...i love STLDFM...and i love Sandy(kim eugene) and Francis( Ji Sung)

To those looking for VCDs I saw one at Divisoria. There are plenty of stores selling there at affordable prices and they are in good quality.

Its also nice to hear that the song "Give my love" is now no.1 on MOR stations natinwide- that's the impact of STLD. I was just disappointed that ABS didn't had the chance to show us some interviews of the leads.

I have to agree..I fell in love with this koreanovela. My officemates keep on egging me to watch Stained Glass and Memories of Bali (these are shows currently being shown here in the Phil), but I just can't muster enough interest to do so. I especially love episodes 3, 4, 11 and 17 (or was it 18-where he gained his full memory arleady). I will not mind watching these scenes over and over. I just wish that the VCDs I bought have better english translation as subtitles. And Ji Sung is so darn CUTE!




Same here. Whether its Sandy or Francis who's crying, I cry, too. The effect of their acting is really different, it seemed so heartfelt, unlike other koreanovelas I have seen. Sometimes, tears will not even fall from their eyes, just well up, and mine is falling already. Their eyes really spoke volumes. Ang galing2X. I wished ABS-CBN was able to promote the series really well here and that they gave the same importance to the stars as with LOVERS IN PARIS.
