Open Application Spring 2009

Beside our open application for AFMag, News/Translator, DL-crew we have decided to keep that application open and start another one for hiring Moderators to help out to organise, clean up and patrol the Forums.

Basic Requirements:
-Must be in the member group or higher. So no AF-noobs & AF-newbies. (If you have to ask what group you are in, you're not qualified)
-Must not have any warning/punishments.
-Must be active around the forum currently or in a particular forum.
-Must be well mannered and Must set a good example at all times.
-Must not be moderator at another similar forum as AF.


How to apply, how you are going with the selection?
-Copy&paste the form and fill it out exactly as it is and pm this to me (do not reply it here in this thread as in the past!!).
-Depending on the amount of applicants, we will select a group(s) to put them as Trials. After a certain period we will evaluate your activities and decide to keep you or not.
-Although not everyone who applies will get selected, it will be really worth a try

*After we have make a selection, all the applicants names will be posted here who has sent a pm. At the same time we will announce who are selected from that list. Depending on the no. of applicants, it could take a week or 2 before we can make the selection.

We are now reviewing the list and making a selection. End of next week we will send out the pms to the ones we are recruiting. I will also announce it here. So if you haven't received a pm by end of the week, means you aren't selected.


Btw there are also some applications from other crewranks for changing position. Normally we don't easily accept it, unless there is a good reason and show/convince us that you are much better fit for the applied position.

Well, I wasn't selected. But it's ok. I understand that I still has lots to learn on how to manage AF. So, I need to be more oriented here.

Congrats to those who were recruited! I know. It's not easy to be a mod for such a huge forum. But I hope that those selected could do their job well and efficiently
