Synopsis

This will be focusing on the love and trials of the 20 year old generation. Go Eun Sung's life is similar to Cinderella's. this is the first time im actually watching a still airing kdrama lol..i usually wait for the whole series to come out and watch it in one go.
at first i didnt like it but now its becoming one of my favs. I like the other guy more than the lead character lol...i feel sorry for him because he obviously is gonna be the burn victim!(he's too nice!) maybe its just me but i think he kinda looks like takeshi kanshiro in some angles lol

jun se oppa really reminds me of jihoo sunbae (BOF) .. all the tlc & sincerity that he shows towards eunsung.. hmmm ... and like BOF, i'm sure that eunsung will end up with woo hwan ..
(although i dun mind it coz it's lee seung gi..hehehe)

bet seung mi will turn to be evil like her mom, as woo hwan starts to fall for eunsung ..
& i can't stand hwan's mom & sis .. really spoilt rich ppl .. good that their grandma tried to teach them their lesson .. hehehe

im at ep 9, hopefully, there will be more focus on hwan + eunsung , coz till now, it's very much focused around eunsung ..

btw, the kid playing as eunsung's bro .. is he special? or really talented ? coz in the drama, he looks very real ...

The kid who play Eun Sung's brother doesnt have the problems in real life like in the drama. He is super talented, he sure convinced me.

I agree with Juzella Jun Se oppa also reminded me of Jihoo from BOF. Also wished that he could end up with Eun Sung, kind of tired of the korean plot where the nice guy doesnt get the girl. But Lee S.K's character is starting to grow on me, even though I live in my bubble that Eun Sung would end up with Jun Se oppa, but in reality (or in this sense in the drama) not going to happen. I truly have high hopes for this drama, it's one of my IT drama after I've finished BOF. Hope to see more viewers who will get their hands on this drama, it sure deserved the attention from fans.
Loved Han Hyo Joo after Spring Waltz and is loving her acting more after this serie. And Bae Soo Bin is now officially on my korean actors HOT list.haha

^Me neither, thanks for the links! I was too impatient so I proceeded with ep 12 and 13 first! =X Now I'm perplexed as to how to clean my brain of those that I've watched and continue with ep 6-11.

I didn't expect much from the show, but surprisingly, it has been rather addictive.

the viikii subbers are sloly but getting the subs back up. i would check everyday because they are doing it very quickly.

I love Shining Inheritance, such a good show! The Soompi thread has already grown to 2000 posts, the popularity of the show is growing crazily. Each episode is addicting and enjoyable. It's not too melodramatic, but has all good elements of a kdrama.

I only watched the first two episodes and I'm already hooked. I haven't had interest in a Korean Drama ever since Boys Before Flowers. This series is really interesting although the storyline is cliche and old. Btw, the main actress looks very similar to Jandi. Especially in dark lighting.

such a good drama for the summer, LSK and HHJ collaborating very well, hope to see a happy ending, 4 more episodes to go....

its cute. i hated how it took them 10 whole episodes to even get anywhere in the plot but its ok cuz once u get to ep 11 it becomes really interesting.
Ive been a fan of Han Hyo Joo since nostop 5 so she was my reason to watch this. and lee seung ki he is adorable on variety shows so i wanted to see how his acting is since its so buzzed. he did not dissappoint. he is really good i love his scenes hes so cute when he becomes awkward around Eung Sung
their relationship really is cute. Hwan is such a sweetie

so is Junse i feel so bad for him, i wanna hug him!
why does the third wheel have to be so awesome? i also wanted Eun sung to leave hwan for junse

These last few episodes have been so heavy i decided to wait until the series is complete and watch it straight through because i don't think my heart can take it. I stopped at ep 18.

I watched the ending of ep 24 and now i am freaking out i can't believe they want to take the company away from granny. I hope Junse doesn't join with his father.

yeah the beginning isnt as interesting but most dramas usually start with a boring intro anyways. I say you should definitely continue watching! It gets better and better

I Love this drama. Today I bought the dvd with all 28 episodes of it. What surprises me is that it has English subs. It doesn't say it has subs till I played it. I can't stop watching it over and over again. It's so cute. I"m in love with it . I"m quite addicted to the drama.

i just finished this series today and i highly recommend it!! I was really holding out and didnt want to finish this series so quickly. But i must admit that another great series has come to an end. So far this is the second best series i've seen this year. Of course Boys OVer Flowers was my first best. I have not been so hooked and glued to the computer within the past 2 years.

I don't like the fact that eun sung & hwan were enemies for about 75% of the series and when the stubborn hwan oppa finally express his feelings for eun sung with a kiss, they were not able to stay together. I believe this couple should be recieving awards for their great acting.

The ending of that passionate kiss btw eun sung & hwan was kinda satisfying but of course i wished there was more. I do believe that they will not be separated even if eun sung left to study abroad since the company (thanks to hwan's proposal) will be expanding to New York.
I really enjoyed this series to a great extent.

hi, i just wanna say this drama is so sweet and i love the couple who play the main character. Does any one know that lee sung gi is also in the reality show 2N1D (2 Night 1 Day) on KBS2. I recomend that you all wacth him in this show because his so adorable, funny and his nickname in this show is helpless. This show is so funny that can make you laugh untill you cry.

Shining Inheritance in GMA-7 (Philippines) starting this Monday night!! I have learned to love Lee Seung Gi after seeing him in Max beer CF with my Kim Sun Ah so I'm gonna watch this for him. He was so cute in the teaser. Han Hyo Joo's hairstyle reminds me of SHK's.

I just finished watching this drama I watched it for almost 3days. I didn't sleep at all hahahaha!

the drama was really nice, i feel bad for Seung Mi since she can't do anything but live like what he mother wants. HwanSung is so adorable I love how Hwan treated Eun Sung day by day eventhough Hwan drags her X)))
the ending was really sweet

the story was just starting here in the Philippines but I'm getting into it...specially on tonights episode..

This drama has got to be the best korean drama ever (for me)!!!!

All the actors were extremely good and as much as hated the characters of seung mi and her mum, i really admire their real person because they did SUCH and good job! woohooo!!!

This is highly recommended series to watch I finished watching this drama last 2 weeks ago and wanted to find the forum for this to share my experience watching it.
The first parts we're a bit boring and I was a bit irritated due to Hwan's behavior but after a few more episode I was loving it.
Eun Sung is a very good actress, her crying scenes when she lost her brother and his "father death" was very touching..
The step mom is really very cunning..I want to stab her every time I saw her in teh past episode.

What I like the lost are:

When she was at the pay phone and her step mom called her to tell her that her father died.. this scene held was very intense.

The scene when she and his brother was about to commit suicide standing at the edge of the high rock formation..then her brother out of nowhere said he was happy.. so touching

The scene where Hwan has said sorry for the first time to Eun Sung.. they we're going back to the 2nd branch restaurant

The scene of him kissing her in the hanging bridge..

The meeting of step mom and Eun Sung's dad and her in Grandma's house.

And the last episode when Hwan and Eun Sung we're having their lunch before she goes abroad...

best drama that i have watched so far in 2009 (ones that have ended)

Never expected that i am enjoying Kim Mi Sook (as Baek Sung Hee)'s acting skills that much.
She really injects a lot of substance to this drama.

The new pair-up young couple is good too. Can see that their chemistry is there...

Never expect that such a die-hard devoted lover can still be found in this century.

A great one... recommend this to those who yet to watch.

I'm done watching SI three months ago but I still watch GMA 7's primetime telecast every night from Monday to Thursday,though I'm a Kapamilya, because it's refreshing to watch it in our own language. And I noticed that the free fan-subbing videos I viewed in some scenes were translated incorrectly. Peace!

SI is one of the best Korean dramas in 2009. The plot was thrilling and fast-paced,that's why my sister and I finished viewing it for two days. The actors' acting were brilliant and believable. And a drama that is well-suited for all ages' TV viewing because everything was done in strict supervision, high-quality direction and high-regard in values integration.

Lastly, the Hwansung couple's lovey-dovey and touchy-feely bickering was so darn sweet.
