What's your opinion on a TVB series with the best cast and why?

I think Triumph in the Skies had a really great cast because they included some experienced actors and actresses (Francis Ng, Flora Chan) plus the series was a good starting point for some TVB actors/actresses such as Ron Ng and Myolie Wu, just to name a few.

in my opinion, i think DIF4 's cast is great!!!! esp Louis and Jessica....

tits, i think it's great too....i love Francis and Flora very much....

The Virtunes of Harmony or something like that... I know the chinese name though.. Gai Dai Fun Hay.. if you can pronouce that lolz XD

The cast of The Legendary Four Aces was great. And the first 2 Armed Reactions were good too. Haha can you tell I'm a Bobby and Esther fan?

Angels in mission i think that was the name, it great because Shirley is in it =D and she acted so funny

I would say "Square Pegs" because Roger and his Lou Por Jai really act as a good team.

best casting show would have to be At the threshold of an Era..
all star cast, awsome show, awsome story...damn, it was the bomb..@!!! it is prolly one of the best shows of all time..consider the cast and the story line..

yepp i agree the At the threshold of an Era 1+2 have the best casting ...but the movie ..is too long ...

yep ATE had many ass kicking casts... but lets not forget A STEP INTO THE PAST... that shyt was hot to0... with louis/jess/sonja yup hot casts

If you ask me the BEST CASTING of all-time then it has to be The Legend of Condor Heroes. Everyone and I do mean every single character in the series was simply brillant and irreplacable.

Starts with Felix Wong, Barbara Yung, then the '4 greats' especially Lau Dan as 'Hung 7 gong' and Tsang Kwong as 'Wong yurk-si'...then there is
Michael Miu, Yeung pang pang, chun pui, patrick tse-yin etc. Don't kno their names, but the two who played 'chow bak-tung, miu chiu-fung' just so memorable.

LOL, not to mention there were many future stars playing minor/kelefe characters in here with the likes of:
stephen chow, francis ng, bobby au-yeung...etc.

But since ur asking for BEST CAST and seems like majority here is rather young, then i'll say Secret of the Heart. There was a mix of 'heroes and villians' characters to contrast each other.

gallen lo, nick cheung, felix wong, sunny chan, chun pui, ada choi, amy kwok, jessica hsuan, kathy chow, melissa ng, eileen yeow...etc.

yay..indeed..a lot of goo ppl were in the cast..it was good tho..do u like part one more or part two?

part one was better..part two was a little bit forced..but was still ok.. however, the casting was what kept ppl into the second one.. part one on the other hand, was very good..awsome casting, no forced story line or anything of that nature.. very good..

I loved the cast for Burning Flames II. Wong He, Stephen Au Kam Tong, Annie Man Jung Han, Flora Chan Wai San, Alex Fong Chung San, Yoyo Mung Kar Wai, Maggie Cheung Ho Yee, Jessica Hsuan Heun (but she was only guest star, err.. should have made her an important character, not minor), Kevin Cheng (yuck I hated him), Leila Tong, Yuen Wa (this guy is hilarious), and some lil not so important characters like Ron Ng, Jimmy Au, etc... The story line could have been better though, but I thought everyone did a great job (except Kevin, he needs to work on his acting a lil more, sorry to his fans out there!). Plus two, the sub theme song by Gigi Leung was soo nice! ahehehe.
I liked the cast for ATE too, but I thought every character was so stupid. If they could have done better, I would have gave them a lil more credit. But I liked the serie anyway.
I also loved the cast for FOJ V, and Healing Hands II. I liked the cast, but I did not like all of the characters. lol
FOJ V - Lawrence Ng Kai Wa, Ada Choi Siu Fun, Bobby Au Yeung, Bowie Lam Bao Yi, Micheal Tao, Flora Chan Wai San, Amy Kwok Oi Ming???, Sheren Tang, Steven Ma Chun Wai, Jessica Hsuan Heun, William So Yu Kang, etc.. Dats pretty star studded huh.. Healing Hands II had a pretty good cast too: Lawrence Ng Kai Wa, Ada Choi Siu Fun (minor), Flora Chan Wai San, Bowie Lam Bao Yi, Moses Chan Ho, Yoyo Mung Kar Wai, Fiona Yeun, Maggie Siu, Micheal Tong Man Lung, Chan Kit Yee (I like dis character), June Chan, etc..

legendary of four aces cast was great. they had bobby, esther, nick, so many ppl that were good!
n maybe triumph in the sky i like the majority of the cast they were pretty good too!

I think all recent series' cast has its flaws and none of them are perfect. The perfect ones I think are back in the old days with Tony Leung. The close to perfect ones recently are Angels of Mission, Triumph in the Skies, War and Beauty...and...I don't know, can't think of anymore for now.

i dont really care if they work well together or is perfect as long as tehy maek a pretty good series that i like to watch it is cool like all of dicky cheung series, shine on you, TCTU, TOB, n lady fan i love the cast in those series

I would have to say ..the first healing hands and the justice of file series.. the casts were not only allstars, but they had so much chemistry

I liked the Healing Hands I & II casts. They were powerful and awesome acting in the series. I also liked Burning Flames II was a strong cast and many of the famous actor/actresses were in it. It made the whole series to be dramatic and funny. I enjoyed it.

I agree, this one was a classic with an unforgettable cast... for a more recent series, I think that I believe that all the DIFs had great casts (Michael and Kenix; Louis, Jessica, Sunny, Charmaine) and Armed Reaction 1 & 2 also had a great cast

I would say To Cacth the UNcatchable and War and Beauty.The characters matched great and the whole thing was just great.In War and Beauty,all the charactersacting ability were at the same level...(I think )

i think it's file of justice 1-5, bcoz of those guys => bobby au yeung, michael tao, william so, and that guy who acted as a policeman(cant remember his name)......... in those scenes where they are togehter, defintely they will be some great jokes!

my vote goes to Virtues of Harmony

they work well together. For example, I love DIF 4, but charmaine and LeeSanSan back then sucked. So in general, not a good cast.

Golden Faith did have good casts... I like that series... Gallen Lo, Jessica Hsuan, Raymond Lam, Tavia Yeung...

I have to say Triumph in the skies!! Lots of good people in it!

in my opinion, i strongly suggest split second, they r so many experience actors n actress, it's music in the film also very fit with the series, n they recognised thailand handsome n pretty stars also:>

The casts from the File of Justice series are very good. They acted so ... natural. Golden Faith also very good.

I'm going to have to go with Virtues Of Harmony (Modern Version) cast although I haven't watched the ancient version yet but from what I see throughout the series the cast seems pretty close playful with each other.

Others I also liked but maybe didn't have all the best actors/actresses in it would be Eternal Happiness even though at the time the lead actors (Raymond Lam & Michelle Yip) were pretty new, they had some good chemistry. The other would be the quite old Lady Flower Fist series with the funny acting and laughable characters.

I think that the Legend of Condor Heroes do have an awesome cast too. You can't forget the great actress Barbara Yung and actor Felix Wong. I think they portray the series very well.

I liked the casting for War and Beauty - I believe everyone in the series did an awesome job with their portrayal of their roles and most of the actors' and actresses' actings absolutely shined in the series. To make matters better, there weren't really any "bad" newcomers to clutter up the scenes. The script also allowed most of the actresses, especially Sheren, to really display the versatility of their acting skills.

DEFINITELY *War and Beauty* with Tang Shui Man, Maggie Cheung, Gigi Lai, Charmaine Sheh, Moses Chan, Bowie Lam and more! honeslty that was good~ but i enjoyed Triumph in the Skies as well. that production was spectacular.

Most series don't have a complete cast of Professsinals..


But i have to admit Twins of Brothers was...a gud group the cast were mostly teens and noobies and the movie turned out well

Angels of Mission wasn't that bad. I believe that it was a Chinese version of Charlie's angels, which is kind of interesting. Also, any series w/ Charmaine Sheh is good, such as War & Beauty and Angels of Mission.

Urm..i'll go for not a pretty face.
I think the drama is the funniest drama of the year.
I really like roger & joey teamed up in this drama.

i think the best cast would be eternal happiness, its one of my favorite series, and its where newcomers such as mich ray myo tavia that time came out!

I think the last breakthrough has a lot of pretty good cast. But, it is such a waste for Gigi to die so early.

Healing Hands I had the best cast in my opinion.
The chemistry between all the characters was really great, it really grabbed u into the story.
since they changed most of the cast in the second one, i felt the chemistry wasn't quite there anymore.

I would say Virtue of Harmony cause like everyone in TVB are in that series, as a guest or act in it for a while.

I would agree with those who said At the treshold of an era, not many tvb series can have such a long episode and still getting the attention. lor Ka leung is a great actor

triumph, war n beauty, burning flame ii just to name a few. i reckon a combination of new n experienced ppl is good. brings in some fresh blood.

i think armed reaction usually has very good casts, detective investigative files also. healing hands has good casts too but its getting a bit boring for the 2nd one, i hope the 3rd one will be better. kindrd spirit also very good. the casts can really act. most recent shows i think war and beauty is very good.

i would say "Square Pegs" is the best because the actor acts damn real and very touching & funny too!!

TITS- a good mixture of both new and experienced actors/actresses
VOH- the casts totally works well with eachother and I don't think TVB could've done a better job at arranging it
TOB- I just love any series w/ Raymond and Tavia in it blush
Upcoming series: "Yummy Yummy" & "Shades of Truth" - both series have female/male casts who are HOT and all of which are my favorite =D i.e.: Gigi, Charm, Tav, Ray, Kevin, & Chilam...

i reckon it's twin of brothers because all the actors an actresses all all favourites of many people i think. It makes the series more interesting if the cast is more popular to the viewers i think.
