Hahaha, I watched the Japanese version to see how it was, and when they said that it would be much more focused on love compared to the Jap one, in a way I'm glad because there was close to zero romance in the Jap one. I was worried at first because I love watching cases and stuff so I didn't want it to be so primarily dominated by love relationships. But now, hearing that there won't be a love triangle relieves me. It's so overrated and cliche and unnecessary.

I'm still wondering if LKH will change up Tavia's character a little because the female lead in galileo was a rookie detective and was quite dependent on the professor. Haha, and I hope they keep Raymond's character like the main lead because his monotone and logical ways cause outbursts of laughter.

I didn't watch the Jap version yet so I can judge with a fresh mind having no romance at all is a little plain I guess. So long as they don't overkill it like they did in things like 'The Seventh Day' and have a relationship that's fun to watch and makes sense...I wonder if this is going to be a light-hearted series or a hot-sophisticated version. I'm fine with both I guess...its got fungyi in it so I don't complain but then again maybe light hearted-comedy is better because I'm so sick of family drama at this point and I need to save quota to watch 'Beyond'. Any comedy that has been executed well might set some surprising ratings considering everything is so low recently.

It has been so long since they played another series as a couple. I hope this will be a good series. I really wanted them to be a couple in Moonlight Resonance but ending w/ Moses was not bad neither.

hey sorry for the confusion @ fy thread! Before the official confirmation news [upon Bernice joining], a baidu user had a post regarding the updated list of casts. At that time, the original poster mixed up two series (Shall we State and the new Sunny and Bernice drama produced by Catherine). But I guess afterward, the confirmation news came out .. .so i guess she is in it after all

I don't know whether I should be happy or sad that Bernice is added to this show. As much as I like Bernice, I really wanted to watch a series dedicated to FungYi, but if it's both FungYi and BK. I would love tvb for the rest of my life if that happened. But since Kenneth is only playing a guest role, TVB might create another love triangle.

Well, since it's filming on July 20 and he should almost be done filming Iron Horse, no? And I think ah-yi told me something about Kenneth is no longer guest star in it (=permanent member), but I forgot what she said. I'm not 100% sure so...let's just wait for costume fitting, all questions will be answered.

Tavia's newest TVB blog video said after Iron Horse she will be filming a series with Raymond (no other artist mentioned). Said it will be a modern series call 'Tam Ching Suet On' revolving around solving cases using science and the topic is refreshing because she has never been a police in uniform before. She also mentioned she hasn't been filming with Raymond ("Fung") for a while, since Moonlight Resonance and haven't been paired up for a long time, she knows fans have anticipated this and hope to get support.

^ What Tavia said might mean Fungyi are the main leads and Bernice+Kenneth are second leads. Since Bernice joined Kenneth got a partner so he's no longer a guest. That makes sense.

Don't think you need to ask as costume fitting is on July 16th (which is in four days) and then, see what role she plays.

I still think highest chance (if TVB keeps some original roles from the Jap version. I mean, they kept Raymond, Tavia and Kenneth's character) then Bernice will play the coroner. And since it's cop series with lots of dead people, they'll need a coroner, unless they change it, of course.

i'm so glad that bernice is in it too. finally a series with tavia and bernice together. they're good friends but i don't think they ever had a series together.

Unless you count Golden Faith where Bernice had about 2 minutes of screen time and there was no Bernice-Tavia interaction at all, then they haven't had a series together I'm honestly looking forward to their interaction, hopefully if Bernice is the coroner then they'll have this friendship thing going on which I'm anticipating.

Probably going to be BK, I don't want or need another triangle from tvb it's one of the reasons I stop watching their series nowadays. Plus, I want FungYi and I want to see Bernice and Tavia as friends, not as love rivals.

Triangles are getting boring lately.

Now that Tavia mentioned she'll be in uniform, I suppose her role isn't a 'cool' madam, but more like a klutzy new recruit (like Myolie in WOIL2)???? Stumbling across a supposedly hot-professor who helps her solve all her cases.
