Man, why do they keep pairing Raymond and Tavia ?! Tavia looks too old for him. Since Twins of brother, I don't appreciate this pair at all. Raymond is great as an actor, I like him a lot but he doesn't match (physical and chemistry) with any actress except Linda Chung and Michelle Ye, furthermore, he doesn't look good in modern drama.
By the way, I will look this drama, cause Raymond is in it ^^

Is "pairing" in your definition being inserted into a drama together almost every year and playing a couple with some other actor/actress? If yes, I have no comment. Well, the only dramas Raymond and Tavia were ever paired up was in Golden Faith and Twin of Brothers, though you can't really count Twin of Brothers since they didn't get together at the end because he died and he also liked someone else. Anyways, I agree that Raymond is a good actor and so is Tavia. Tavia doesn't look old for Raymond compared to the others he worked with.

After Bernice was 'defroze' by TVB, she was immediately involved in 'Shall We State The Case'. However, due to her past bad records, her role isn't as important as her previous and is only a guest star in the drama. Knowing that she's only a guest star, Bernice asked for Stephen Chan's rescue and she is promoted to a supporting role.

I don't like that happen to Bernice, poor the girl. Hope that the role will be meaty to Bernice cuz I like to see her so much. Bernice and Fung r the main reason that I'll watch this series without knowing it's good or not. Watch first, judge later. Mr. Kingsley King looks not bad . Lol, if my prof at uni is that good looking then I dun mind to go to class again , and learn Physic.

To the pairing, I think everyone will have their own opinions and why not respect all? Some like to see Fung Yi as a pairing and some are not. If you like to see, then 1000 is just too little. If you dun like to see, 1 is just too much. Dun need to say what good the pairing is.

This series will end filming time soon then we'll see when it will be aired. Hope for April or May or June cuz it's the best rating period. Lau Ka Ho is good at rating (but not mean I think his series are good) so this series can be nominated next year. Hope so. Hope Fung'll win Best actor award in 2010. And maybe Bernice will win Best Supporting or Best Newcomer. She has to wait too long.

Raymond has filmed many series with older women. Sheren is a good example that older than him more than 10 years and of course tavia doesn't look old compared with sheren but if compared with those who are around their ages, yes, it is.

I agree TVB always put raymond and tavia in a series but I don't agree TVB always pair them up together. It's just like Rayda this couple. Raymond and linda only cooperated in two series and only paired up in a series that is MR. Just like a member said just now about raymond's death in TOB. Raymond died at the end of HOG and Linda loved moses but still people complaint they always paired up together. Therefore, I can understand people complaining about pairing raymond and tavia together in a series.

Imo, it really depends how the actors dressed up... For eg. tavia looks younger in Yummy Yummy with her haircut and clothes but looked mature in The Academy with her curly shoulder length hair... Both series were 2005... and as for those who are around their ages, I think Bernice looks mature for her age too (maybe due to her long curly hair)... Besides that, imo Linda looks older than Raymond in Moonlight Resonance... but this is due to Raymond's hairstyle and clothes. However, Linda looked younger in A Journey Called Life... cuz she needs to have the "wet mui" look... As for Raymond, he looks older for those who are around his age too... especially those actors who are kinda new in tvb... For example, Eddie Lee (Your Class Or Mine & The Academy), Oscar Leung (You're Hired, Your Class Or Mine), Stephen Huyn (D.I.E I & II)... but i may have this kind of perception because Raymond has been around the entertainment industry for ages.... but different people have different opinions and perspectives... I just know all are great actors and great actors are able to bring out their chemistry in a series... and back to SWSTC... There are little news about Kenneth and Bernice pairing... Most of the news were about Kenneth having different girls each night... I also wanna hear more news about Raymond and Tavia getting together to solve cases...

Anyone have the feeling that this series is more of love (情) than case (案). Even the name put 情 before 案. That's why dun looking forward to this series as a series of cases. Lau is good at love than. Look, most of news were about love, dun see any case. Or they are save the best for last?

The movie Bernice filmed is B-list at best. Come on, a live action version of 'Kings Of Fighter'? It's going to flop like the Dragonball movie. The casts are not even A-listers too. I won't be surprise if this part of the news is true. Bernice is only returning from her exile from TVB, it's a start from scratch.

It's kinda sad that Bernice is starting from stratch.....kind of off topic, but the same thing happened to Mandy Cho too. She was the leading female in "Guts of Man", and then went to back to her studies, returned to TVB and the roles she's been getting are only supporting. TVB tends to do that...

Leanne looks really pretty in her blog. I'm happy that all that worry was for nothing..but feel kind of silly about it now. Anyways I'm having high hopes for this series, I have no doubt that both Raymond and Tavia will deliever on these roles, their natural chemistry (from knowing each other so long and so well) will probably make their chemistry in the show amazing. It would be interesting, afterwards, to compare their chracters' chemistry in this series with Golden Faith, even though the situations are completely different.

The anticipation is slowly, but surely, killing me...CAN'T WAIT....sorry

Tavia feels smart and energetic as she can have the chance to become a female cop and wear police uniform. She said, “The uniform will tighten up our waist and chest area. We really must have a fit figure in order to wear female cop uniform nicely. The outcome is very smart and energetic indeed.

Bernice Liu and Kenneth Ma were filming in Lan Kwai Fong for TVB's new series "Shall We State the Case" earlier. That night, the two were on location to film a kiss scene. Since the time of filming was during the busy evening, it attracted many passersby to watch them film.

When Bernice was asked if she felt awkward filming a kiss scene with Kenneth, she said, "No! I have worked with Kenneth previously in "Into Thin Air", and we also had kiss scenes in there. The kiss scene we filmed that day (this one) wasn't even that intense. The ones we filmed prior to this one was more intensive! But of course I can't reveal that much right now. You guys will know when you watch it! My first on-screen intense kiss is given to Kenneth Ma".

Sweating Through Clothing Due to Hot Weather

When asked Bernice if she had done any preparation before filming this kiss scene, such as chewing gum or brushing her teeth, Bernice expressed, "Kenneth and I both didn't [do any preparation]. We just kissed on the spot!" (Did you feel awkward with all of the tourists and passersby watching?) "It's alright! But I did feel a bit unnatural and nervous because of the amount of people watching". (Was there many NGs?) "There was NGs because they had to film from different angles". Due to the hot weather, Kenneth's shirt was soaked right through.

In "Shall We State the Case", Bernice will play a news anchor. Kenneth's character will be a player with many girlfriends. She and Kenneth's character already know each in university, and have previously dated. But after they broke up, they did not keep in contact. When they met up again, their old flames reignited, and they got to the point of discussing marriage plans. In this scene, Kenneth said something in front of his friends that he should not have discussed. Upon hearing this, Bernice felt unhappy and left. Kenneth then chased after her and kissed her, but Bernice was still upset about it.
