This so-called-rumored couple isn’t very popular with fans. And call me dumb, but I just can’t see why (well, actually I can, but I don’t agree with it). People who are shouting ‘STUPID RUMOR! IT’S NOT TRUE’ are obviously people who don’t like this pairing (or Ronald... poor thing), it’s not even the case of if it’s true or not. I mean, there are even people who ships Charlene Choi with Raymond Lam (Wtf?) and ironically I haven’t found a Ronald/Charlene-topic yet... Now let's move on my rant:

‘I just want Charlene to be happy and I don’t think Ronald matches her.’
Dude, if you want your precious Charlene to be happy then don’t chose who YOU think that match for HER, she knows what’s best for her and not you, ok?

Superficial. Superficial. Superficial… but hey, because we, fans, are all drop-dead-gorgeous people, we have to right to be superficial and judge other people by their appearances and even chose who can date who! <<Sarcasm>>

As far as I know, I never read about anything about them denying the rumors, they are actually both very ambiguous about it, which makes it more suspicious of course. I mean, anyone ever saw the talk show/interview of Charlene on ‘今日VIP’?? Anyone who still thinks ‘it’s just a rumor that goes around for some years now’ is stupid… or escaping reality for all that matters…

By the way, I believe they are, indeed, a couple. And a damn cute couple for heaven’s sake. AND even if they aren’t (which is unlikely, but soit) I still think they are adoreable. Maybe for some people it's 'beauty and the beast', but who will disagree if I say 'Beauty and the beast' is a beautiful story ?

omg, you totally took the words out of my mouth. I remember watching Charlene's 'today's VIP' interview and I also remember watching Ronald's (he was on with Alex and Edmond) and I really think the way they answer questions about each other make it really obvious that they're together as well. But the comments I've seen on this forum are like the total opposite of HK forums, where the majority of people see them as a couple now.

I agree with both of you! I too after having watched Charlene's "Today's VIP" and Ronald's interview with Alex and Edmond realized that they are indeed dating. What really sealed the deal for me was what Charlene said. Obviously Ronald is rather shy about the topic but always manages to drop significant hints on the status of their relationship. It is Charlene who tends to be extremely vague. But in that interview, she blatantly said that 'it's not that I'm denying, I just don't want to be so clear.' LOL! As an artist, she obviously doesn't want people to identify her for her relationships but her work, which is a sensible argument.

As for those shallow and superficial people that trash Ronald for his appearance, I'll admit that when I first heard of their 'rumor' I too thought really? Charlene likes Ronald? But after watching several of his interviews, I realized he is actually a really nice and sweet guy; not to mention funny. So I can completely see why she would be attracted to him. His inner beauty is what's most important and completely masks his 'flaws' so to speak.

I, too, find it ironic that most HK people/fans see them as a couple but most 'overseas fans' are still denying it (especially Charlene-fans, some of them really has no manners and even starts verbally attacking Ronald... I'm not attacking Charlene-fans in general, because of course, like always, there are decent fans too ;D)... That really says something about the majority of 'overseas-fans' .

Moonshade, thanks for posting the links. I love how shy Ronald gets. He becomes more reserved than his usual comedic self at the mention of Charlene. I find it so adorable. He really just seems like a great guy

As for the 今日VIP interview with Charlene, I remember I saw a preview of that interview and was dying to see it because of all the indefinite comments swirling around in regards to the status of their relationship. Especially when it comes to the media, you really can't trust anything they write unless you hear it from the artists mouths. It really cannot get any clearer than what Charlene stated. The interviewer asked her 'whether she just doesn't want to admit her relationship or just be vague about it to the public.' You can see that the interviewer is asking her on the assumption that her and Ronald are in deed dating. Charlene replies by saying that 'she's never denied/lied about the topic, she just doesn't want to be so clear.'
As for Ronald, he never denies anything when asked about Charlene, but has yet to flat out state that they are dating; she is his girlfriend.

I find that a large portion of Charlene-fans anywhere, including this forum just refuse to accept the facts. I get it... they wish to see her with whom THEY feel LOOKS best with her. But come on, it is what it is. As long as he is good to her and makes her happy, that is all that should matter right?!

Before 2006, I always thought the Ronald and Charlene rumours were just rumours and nothing more. It wasn't until watching the Taiwanese show Peach Protein in 2006 that I actually thought their relationship is something more. The host was asking Twins whether they were dating anybody and Charlene replied with "No comment". I think it might have been the way she said it as well but I just remember thinking "hm, fishy" haha

I'm not someone who believes rumours easily, I only judge on observation. And after seeing both Charlene and Ronald's (often gigly) reactions/amibiguous wordchoice/other obvious interviews etc. for YEARS... I can totally justify my view of them as a couple ^^.

I could tell that they were dating once the rumors about Ronald having a tattoo in Charlene's name something like that and after that report, you never see Ronald wearing short sleeve short at all even in the summer. For example, Beautiful Cooking Vs. Trio, all the guys were in sleeves shirtless cause they are in water, but only Ronlad had long sleeve or quarter sleeve on.LOL. I love Ronald personality, he is so funny.

I think that they are cute together. I always like seeing how they get at the mention of each others names. And if they've been together now for 4 to 5 years, that should mean that they are going strong?
