Kim Hyun Joong who gain much popularity after acting as Korean version "Boys over Flowers"'s "Hanazawa Rui", come to Malaysia to shoot his MV together with SS501, the Korean Idol Group which he belongs to. Taking this opportunity, they will meet with their Malaysia medias and also their fans for a short 5 hours before they depart Malaysia, in order to let them witness the charm of this group who is currently soared in their popularity.

After Warner Music Malaysia official website published the news regarding SS501 short gathering with their fans, it had gains lots of interest from fans. It was reported that SS501 had already arrive Malaysia on Monday, 31 August 09 and was shooting their MV at one of the city. They will stay in Malaysia for a short 4 days. Before leaving for Seoul on Thursday night, 3 August, they will spend 5 hours in Kuala Lumpur to hold their press conference and fan meeting. This is also their first meeting with the Malaysia media and fans since they debut.

As it is currently the Muslim's ramadan, Warner Music Malaysia is still trying hard to locate a suitable location to hold the press conference and fan meeting. Once the location is finalized, Warner Music Malaysia will release the fan meeting detail information in their official website.

i just reach home tonight.i got to see all ss501 members..this is my happiest day ever happen in my life.starting when i got to see them in KLIA, i got speachless.they are all handsome and not so tall.haha..the most different is Mal.he so darn handsome.The cutest one is Kyu Jong.Baby just look da same always look gorgeous and handsome.idk but Yong saeng he look so exhausted and look unfreindly to us.maybe cause he just wake up from sleep.ha ha.Jungmin is the msot freindly one.He wave at us from far and keep doing that non stop.how sweet he is.and i got to see him so close.he got a nice skin..so girl i admit that korean artist got awesome skin than a real girl.Mal also look so manly and not girly at all!and Kyu jong, when i said his name he look at me and and wave to me too.i just too near from him.if i not forget to take a video maybe that will be so awesome.and the Leader..he just keep taking our picture with his camera video.maybe my face will be on it since i got to stand beside him and smile to the camera.ha ha his skin look a bit tanned. the worst is when we just got one signatured from them.i got to pick and of course KYU JONG is my fav.the best memories for the day.actually they didnt allowed us to take any picture so i just secretly on my camera video and snap the clearest version of Kyu oppa face.but suddenly the bodyguard know my bad tactic and ask me to off my camera and i just ignored them.Kyu oppa didnt care at all.he even smile at me.oh god he's so cute and handsome.i got to talk with him and said saranghae for him 3 times.ha ha..i ask him to do a saranghae sign but he didnt understand and held my signatured dvd and give me the sweetest smile and do a cuties face infront of my camera.oh lucky day!i envy so much with the girl that got a hug from jungmin.when i try to go back the body guard keep asking me to go out.ha ha that my story

SS501 Confirms Malaysia for Persona Tour

Triple S members of Malaysia, you sure are getting spoiled with events... get your money ready because SS501 has officially added your country to its Persona Asian tour hit list!

SS501, which has been recently filming in Malaysia, previously announced hopes to hold a concert in this country at the end of 2009 or next January as part of their Persona tour. Since this announcement, three concert organizing companies from Singapore & Malaysia have reportedly battled for rights to organize this leg of the tour. Ultimately, Marctensia, which has organized Malaysia concerts for Ariel Lin and Akon, won the sole rights with a whopping seven figure sum to organize the Malaysian branch of the tour.

Seven figures... this is reportedly the same ballpark as other A-list celebrities, such as Jay Chou and other "kings of pop". As plans are still in infant stages, the concert venue, date and other specific details have yet to be cemented; however, many guess that the concert will be held in mid-December, as this is the time frame for the Singapore part of the Persona tour. Rumors also speculate that DSP Entertainment (SS501's management agency) is planning to bring around a hundred staff & crew on the tour, which includes assistants, make up artists, hair stylists, concert tech crew etc.

The Persona tour is already well underway - after kicking it off in Seoul on the first day of August, SS501 started their overseas tour on August 13 with two reportedly kickass concerts in Japan. Fans in Taiwan and Singapore are also anticipating scheduled concerts in the near future.

SS501 leader and Boys Over Flowers star, Kim Hyun Joong, has been diagnosed with swine flu. The singer turned actor was in Japan to promote his hit drama series over the weekend, from 5 - 6th September. During the promotions, he had shown signs of a fever and a headache, which caused him to miss his activities on the 6th.

A representative from DSP Media gave a formal statement saying, "Kim Hyun Joong was scheduled for a flight, at 12pm on the 7th of September, he had passed through immigration without any problems but later in the afternoon, due to a sudden change to his health, he was taken to the emergency room instead."

While in the ER, it was diagnosed that the star had swine flu, and the representative says that the star is being treated but has to remain under further observation for more tests, causing him to remain in Japan. Kim Hyun Joong's manager has been sent to the hospital to check on the matter and will inform the public with more details when available. It's not known whether his SS501 members and the other F4 cast were tested for symptoms of H1N1 upon arrival in Korea.

Boyband SS501 led by KimHyunJoong is coming to Singapore end of this year.

"Boys Over Flower" Kim Hyun Joong is giving fans in Singapore a christmas present. That is SS501's Persona Concert.

According to reliable source, boyband SS501 led by leader Kim Hyun Joong will be in Singapore before Christmas to celebrate with Singapore's fans.

Before the news is confirm, there were already a few fans called up the company in Singapore and Korea wanting to book tickets for the concert in Singapore. Now that they are really coming to Singapore, the fans must be really happy.

Actually, SS501 isn't unfilmilar in Singapore. The leader Kim Hyun Joong acted Yoon Ji Hoo in Boys Over Flower. With his popularity in the drama plus SS501 also sang in a few songs in the drama, their popularity shoot up.

One of their song "Because I'm Stupid" had also won the 1st ranking in 1003ufm radio station.

SS501 is having their Persona Concert after debuting for 4 years. The concert started this year 1st August in Seoul. Recently, completed their concerts in Korea and Japan. The result of the concerts were great, tickets were all sold out.

The third concert will be held in Taipei Arena. SS501 will also be doing charity work for the Taiwan's flood. For every ticket sold on the 17th October for the Taipei Persona Concert, they will donate S$20 to charity.

In everyone's heart, the emo character Kim Hyun Joong is the best actor. After Boys Over Flower showed in Korea, the ratings broke 20%. Over half a year, the fever of Boys Over Flower is still on. SS501 practices Mandarin song diligently for Taiwan concert, have outstanding performance in ticket sales with 80% of tickets sold within first 3 days.


As SS501 is scheduled to hold a concert in Taipei Arena on the 17 of next month, fans who want to see their idols up close, have queued overnight without complain and have willingly spent money on the tickets. Since the opening of ticket sales on 5 September (Saturday), in less than 3 days, 80% of the tickets have been sold.

The tickets ranging from 3200 TWD to 4500 TWD (100 USD - 137 USD) are completely sold out and there are limited 800 TWD tickets left. Besides Taiwanese fans, fans from Japan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Shanghai and other Asian countries have also rushed to snap up the tickets. An estimate of 400 overseas fans will attend the concert in Taiwan. Online sale of the tickets will start on 16 September.

SS501 hopes to sing a Chinese Mandarin song for the fans in Taiwan during the concert and are currently practicing diligently for it. As to which song they will be singing, SS501 said they are now working hard on memorizing the song and will only reveal it on the day of the concert; they want to give a big surprise to all their fans.

There has been a lot of speculation about the current situation and we would like to clarify the matter.

Last weekend, 5 and 6 September, SS501’s Leader Kim Hyun Joong participated in promotional events for KBS-TV drama ‘Boys Over Flowers’ in Yokohama. During which, some health problems had arose.

He was scheduled to attend Hanryu Fodue recording before BOF event on 6 September. However, due to slight fever and headache, he did not attend the recording and had taken a rest. As his condition got better, he managed to perform on that stage, keeping the promise he made to the fans and displaying fighting spirit.

He was scheduled to return on Korea on 7 September at 12 p.m. However, in the morning of 7 September, he developed high fever and was sent to the emergency room. He was then diagnosed with swine influenza (H1N1).

Kim Hyun Joong is currently admitted in a hospital in Japan and was prescribed Tamiflu by doctors. His condition has turned for the better after receiving treatment, and requires more rest. His condition is still under observation.

Official staff and local staff of DSP media have been sent to keep a close eye on his condition. He will return to Korea as soon as his condition gets better.

There is no confirmation about his attendance of upcoming scheduled events.

Last weekend, 5 and 6 September, SS501’s Leader Kim Hyun Joong participated in promotional events for KBS-TV drama ‘Boys Over Flowers’ in Yokohama. During which, some health problems had arose.

He was scheduled to attend Hanryu Fodue recording before BOF event on 6 September. However, due to slight fever and headache, he did not attend the recording and had taken a rest. As his condition got better, he managed to perform on that stage, keeping the promise he made to the fans and displaying fighting spirit.

He was scheduled to return on Korea on 7 September at 12 p.m. However, in the morning of 7 September, he developed high fever and was sent to the emergency room. He was then diagnosed with swine influenza (H1N1).

Kim Hyun Joong is currently admitted in a hospital in Japan and was prescribed Tamiflu by doctors. His condition has turned for the better after receiving treatment, and requires more rest. His condition is still under observation.

Official staff and local staff of DSP media have been sent to keep a close eye on his condition. He will return to Korea as soon as his condition gets better.

There is no confirmation about his attendance of upcoming scheduled events.

*It was informed that the moment, his condition has improved greatly.

It has been confirmed that there will be changes to his schedule.

I guess there are many fans who are worried when they read the news about HyunJoong getting H1N1 yesterday.

HyunJoong’s condition has improved at the moment,
YoungSaeng, KyuJong, JungMin, HyungJoon are currently healthy without any symptoms of H1N1,
But they will be going for examination today, just in case.

For 9/11 (Fri) Drama Awards & 9/13 (Sun) KBS Special (Shenyang) Schedule
Inevitably, HyunJoong would not be able to attend, we had decided that only YoungSaeng, KyuJong and HyungJoon will attend.

For 9/11 (Fri) Drama Awards, we had originally planned for HyunJoong receiving award and SS501’s congratulatory performance,
We have arranged for YoungSaeng, KyuJong, HyungJoon to receive the award on behalf of HyunJoong,
And have their congratulatory performance (U R Man + Because I am stupid).

Even though HyunJoong would not be able to receive the award personally, we had prepared fanclub seats, so hope that many would still go for these meaningful seats to support and congratulate HyunJoong’s win for the award!!

Good news for Korea's sensational pop group, SS501's fans because Malaysia is officially confirmed as one of the nation that will be toured by SS501's Persona Asia Tour.

SS501 have visited Malaysia last week to meet n greet with their fans in Malaysia and their Persona Asian Tour which will be held in Malaysia either in end of 2009 or on January 2010.

They (SS501) which just finished their photographing/photoshoot located in Sabah have also said whether is it possible for all five members too act together in a drama after their leader, Kim Hyun Joong has raised their popularity after he acted in a popular korean drama, Boys Over Flowers.

"Thank u for supporting Kim Hyun Joong and also for supporting us. Recently we've all have received an acting offer and we are busy reading the script given"
"But only next year we'll be focusing on our acting career and album recording, because this year we are fully occupied with our first asia tour" said Park Jung Min,which is one of the group members.

They also have been given a question about another korean pop group,DBSK which are rumoured to be disband caused by their crisis with their management company, SM Entertainment.

However, all five of them didnt gave a lot of response towards DBSK's disbanding issue. And they also hope that all the fans will keep on supporting all the korean bands/groups.

"Actually,we are only focusing towards our career and this is a complicated issue that we cant answer it. Moreover, we (SS501 & DBSK) are from two different management companies but we always supports each other. I hope this issue will be solved nicely" says the group's leader,Kim Hyun Joong.

09/10 [new] "Mom's here", HJL's parents fly to Japan to take care of their son


In order to take care of her precious son, Kim Hyun Joong's mother immediately flew to Japan to take care of her son the moment the news came out.

After hearing that her son needs to be treated for more than half a month, Kim Hyun Joong's mother immediately boarded the plane and rushed to Japan to accompany him.

SS501's management company said, "Because Kim Hyun Joong's parents' were really worried, so they immediately flew to Japan to be with him, and will be taking care of him for the next half month." lol yesterday i watched the Seoul International Drama award at KBS World, without a miss.. i even more excited when i saw our boys are there to perform on behalf of Hyun Joong. But before the event finished, i fought with my younger brother for tuning on his cartoon channel and yeah when i see below, i could see that SS501 up onstage for the award, but i can't change the channel to watch it..and you know what?? As the time break fast for the Muslims, i ended up crying for not getting to watch our boys to receive the award, and i did miss 'Because I'm Stupid' performance!!
